Went to a birthday party here and got to make my own ice cream sundae - I chose mango and strawberry sorbet, hot fruit salad sauce with a piece of mango on the top. Interesting flavours, all very tasty.

Ice cream to be devoured. After a big meal in nearby Camden or whilst on a long weekend walk I love to pop in here and get a scoop if their flavourful ice cream and take in the busy North London streets around. Staff are so helpful and friendly. The decour is top quality, such a statement that makes you feel like you're in a special ice cream place (which you certainly are!)

A joke!! Bad joke!! The sorbets looked like granita they were icy and tasted like iced lemon juice and pineapple juice. Not sorbet at all. Don t do ice scream if you cannot.

We love this little ice cream shop which also happens to be one of the pick-up points for our veg bags (when it's open). Sometimes when we have surplus fruit we'll drop it off and they'll use it for one of their amazing seasonal ice creams and sorbets. And of course we also love their super-local flavours like Kentish Town Honey.

The most wonderfully inspiring & original flavours made with best quality ingredients make for the yummiest happiest ice cream experience! Lovelovelove this place... they make small batches of seasonal flavours that change often so you'll never be bored, seriously delish! Just a bit dangerously too close to home!

We ordered a cake for my son s 12th birthday- raspberry ripple, maxi moo moo, and salted caramel layers with a chocolate cake and so beautifully decorated. The team also went the extra mile and fashioned a Mind Flayer (from Stranger Things) out of fondant! He was absolutely overjoyed. We are so grateful! It was also delicious!! Thank you guys!!

Quality and very tasty ice cream and sorbet! Ruby Violet make it all themselves and the flavours change and experiment. There is bench seating and table inside. This store is located about 5 minute walk from Tufnell Park tube station. They have another branch, a small store, at Kings Cross Granary Square.

Mmmmmm salted caramel - perfect. Liquorice & blackcurrant and chocolate orange are equally divine :-). It s impossible to put it back in the freezer once you ve started it! Also I heard you donated a lot to our fabulous NHS during the Covid peak - Thankyou so much on behalf of all the hospital staff & ambulance crews who enjoyed a little taste of luxury as they worked their socks off. Support from our local communities means so much.

If you come here you have about 50% chance of getting a nice ice cream. Flavours are extremely hit and miss, including a purple sweet potato one that tasted of mealy tuber (unlike Malasian ube) and a frankly terrible peanut concoction More

Delicious ice cream, friendly staff, what's not to love? I've tried a few flavours here - both ice cream and sorbet - and I think my fave is the strawberry sorbet. It's creamy, fruity, and still light. That plus a scoop of lime or lime + star anise makes for a fantastic hot day's treat. The lemon sorbet is also incredibly creamy and rich tasting. The actual place is adorable - but tiny! Not the place to hang out in if it's crowded. A few tiny tables and chairs (I want to say 2 on each side of the door, so 4 tables), and that's that. But it is cute, and I think on an afternoon when the store is pretty much empty, it must be lovely to spend time sitting there. So why only 4 stars? I hate to say it, but the price. I realise the ice cream is tops, but 2.50 for one scoop seems like a lot. I feel like if it were even 2.00 for a scoop, I'd be a lot happier. Also, sometimes the staff gives me a triangle of waffle cone stuck into my scoop and sometimes they don't. I ALWAYS want that triangle, darnit!

Great ice-cream everytime! Truly ice cream connoisseurs! The other negative reviews seem to be from people who don't really know ice-cream and would rather go to the local Iceland and pay 10p for a choc ice! Their Affogato is really nice and they change the flavours to match seasonal fruits. Always something new to try here, and it's organic!

Ruby violet has interesting flavours Many are rich and ones to only take a lick and savour Salted caramel almond brittle - I liked it so much and the scoop was not little A few of the flavours are really top notch Sadly one of the flavours was not butterscotch

I'd been looking forward to visiting Ruby Violet for some time after following them on Twitter, they have an extensive list of ice creams, I went for Salted Caramel and Peanut butter flavours, both were nice, I'd recommend the salted More

I love their constantly changing flavours and the wonderful staff I meet, I see they have a van out too which looks beautiful. One of the photos shows their amazing Easter eggs they had, I love how creative they get around holiday seasons.

I just love the personal touch. It s one of the best things a premium brand could practice as part of their customer experience. The gentleman who delivered the package to our doorstep was very accommodating and of the very best nature when we spoke to him on the phone. Will definitely order again and keep coming back for exciting flavours. The flavours themselves are top notch. There was a surprise in the bag, a few sample flavours to try, very unexpected and very welcoming at these same time.

The most amazing ice cream and sorbet flavours i've ever seen. Horseradish? You wouldn't believe it but it works and so well. Lime and stat anise sorbet blew my taste buds to heaven and back. You owe it to yourself to go.

Phenomenal and unusual ice cream- from chilli chocolate to prosecco flavours (highly, HIGHLY recommend prosecco on a sunny day. It's a bit like a boozy sorbet). Do ask if you can try before you buy as there's such a range and the staff are friendly! They have some great suggestions for matches and toppings too ;)

"Sorry, we don't take cash" I have visited previously and found sorbets to be delightful, tangy and interesting. Sadly, I visited last week in the afternoon and was (apologetically) informed that this is a "card only" establishment. Gone are the heady days of children being able to use pocket money to buy themselves a treat. Or perhaps the owner is only interested in children (and adults) with credit? Or maybe data mining? Businesses with a "customer list" are more saleable than those without. It is hard to fathom the reasoning here. The most obvious being; the member of staff serving was young:- THEREFORE untrustworthy? (Not my thoughts - I am suggesting these are management's) Not needing to be open in the colder months the owners can save on wages for their teenage staff. There are a number of free Wi-Fi cafes in the vicinity. When was the last time the owner's had a PCI conformance check for the safety / security of their card only customers? Decorated as an inviting "chocolate box" of treats on the outside this "more exclusive than thou (with prices to match) attitude" seems designed only for gold card holders.

Wonderful ice cream! Really incredible flavours, so fresh and taste exactly as they should. All home made on the premises with organic milk, or just great fruit. Can't recommend it highly enough, best ice cream in London!

Very expensive for what is quite ordinary ice cream. Any premium brand from Marks and Spencer is considerably more subtly flavoured and finely textured than anything I tasted here. They seem to have confused using organic ingredients with being able to create gourmet ice cream. Perhaps they should visit Berthillon in Paris to see how it's done

Very bad experience. Went to buy ice cream yesterday for my whole family including my elderly parents, husband and 2 small kids. It was very windy and their long display board near ice cream van came away hitting me right on my shoulder and More

Love this little ice cream shop. Both this and the King Cross branch serve outstanding ice cream of a wide range of flavours that you might not expect in an ice cream. The Meringue Muddle was delicious and the ultimate mix of sugary joy. Very much enjoyed it!

Inventive, original ice cream, often made with local ingredients (e.g. The Tufnell Park honeycomb). Pleasant service and some casual benches and chairs for seating. Adds a lot to the area and a great stop-off point for treats. Takeaway tubs are pre-made but you can also have a tub of any ice cream they have. Special flavours each week.

Amazing flavours of Gelato. They even have an ice cream cake which you can order. A little gem in Tufnell Park. Great Customer service who are happy to let you try some of their unique flavours.
