Opened a ticket three days ago, and Coinmatic is still unable to schedule an appointment and provide an exact date and time as to when a technician can come out??? Company process requires customers to wait "24-48 hrs" to have a service call "scheduled". If you expect buildings owners (and their tenants) to accept a business model like this, it won't be long before you zero customers. No longer a customer.

Horrible customer service. I was charged for an amount for my laundry card. And it didnt appear on my laundry card balance. But did come out of my bank. When i sent an email. Which is required to get a refund. I still have not heard anything about this. And this was on july 31. I sent another email. Still awaiting a reply. Very poor customer service. Still no refund either. Hate dealing with this company.
This is really stressful, their coinamatic loading machine fails twice already to me and charge me twice for every transaction I did! I called the costumer service and complain about it! She told me I dont know why only you called to complain about it! But I just to talk to another lady who just had the same problem! YOUR MACHINE NEED TO BE FIX and we will stop calling your office rude and lier costumer service!
Do not use conamatic if you re a landlord. Horrible service, our machines were malfunctioning, they came collected did not advise, took all money along with.
After mentioning many times themselves they would be advising us when they are going to pickup to collect monies inside.

Their charging system is a joke. Failure and overcharge happens every single time. It s takes forever to refund and doubt my proof is fake. It s exhausting to deal with this kinda meaningless issue every single time.
Wait 1 week for someone to come check a consistently occurring issue with the rinse and spin on the washers at our Melchior apartment building. We were told they did come to check the problem so the sign was removed 2 people used it and ruined their clothes. Leaving the clothes soaking wet soapy mess. Now 2 weeks waiting for two broken washing machines (we only have 2!!!) The machines are terrible and eating people s $. With only one local coin laundry mat in 1km distance we have many elderly people who reside here who do not drive and can not make the trips with all the laundry they have.... And after all the money they have already wasted. Customer service lady over the phone said the amazing Coinamatic cards they advertise so highly over a 17 minute wait to finally be told they cant re-credit the card, that apparently because of location they are mailing out a cheque s. I could rant more, but the reviews surely stand for themselves. Technicians are clueless, machines are terrible & customer service? Lol!! Need some schooling possibly... maybe a new owner.
Got new laundry machines and cards; the card stopped working on my third time doing laundry. Now I'm stuck with wet bedding.
Called in to find out there's nothing they can do except send me a new card so I'm stuck sleeping cold.
They also told me I could see my landlord for a new card, which I did the next day, which turns out to be wrong. They have to send me a new card. Also it will take 7-10 days! I CANNOT DO LAUNDRY for SEVEN TO TEN DAYS.

Expensive to do laundry and the machines always go out of order. When I call as a tenant to let them know they insist that a field tech will be out to service to fix them. Well that was 4 weeks ago and they are still out of order.

absolutely horrible laundry machine company. the machines in my buildings laundry room are constantly breaking down and when they are fixed days or weeks later the same problems occur days later. i have lost so much time and money and customer service doesn't care as i have requested a manager or supervisor call me back multiple times and it has not happened. i have even filed a complaint with the better business bureau and they haven't bothered responding to my complaint through them!!!!!!
The machines in my building do break down frequently but that could be due to misuse. The customer service has actually been really helpful and understanding

I have inquired multiple times regarding a refund to which no solution has been provided. My last email was December 3rd and I've still received no response. In addition to that, the quality of the machines and maintenance upkeep is foul. So many of my clothes have been destroyed. Absolute terrible experience and company.
If rather give this company a zero rating. If you move into a building with laundry facilities run by this company don't use them or better yet move somewhere else. Their machines are all garbage and never work properly. You waste more time having to rewash and redry than you need to. Better to go to an outside laundromat. Horrible customer service. Shocking how bad their customer service policy is. I had a bad card that had $20-25 on it. Make me wait 7-10 business days (my bedsheets are here covered in soap now) to get a card with $15 on it. At which point I have to MAIL the old card back to get my $5-10 other dollars as a cheque.... pretty bad act of faith to a customer who uses service weekly and has an issue with their equipment to no fault of their own (only had card 7 weeks). Embarrassing and pathetic!
Horrible company with even more horrible customer service. The machines in our building eat all of our money and rarely work. Their automatic recording about their customer service pride is a complete farce. After waiting 30-60 minutes to speak to someone, the agents are rude, will rush you off the phone and you go NO rely to online questions/submissions. Go to a laundromat!!

Some of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I've lived in the same building over 3 years, and I've yet to go to the laundry room and see all the machines up and in working order at the same time.
If they spent as much effort towards customer service, and repairing their machines, as they did patting themselves on the back claiming to be so dedicated , maybe more people would spend their money using these machines, instead of burning their time going to 3rd party locations.

Awful. Refilling your account is a minimum $10, which is ridiculous since the cost of each load will always leave you with a remainder. Didn't receive the free wash they advertised when you sign up/make an account either. What a waste of money!
This company is used by my property management. Everyday there is a washer or dryer not working. There is no regular maintenance schedule set up. When you call for service it is always a 30 minute wait on their.customer service call line and every time I am told that no other calls have been received. BUT when you speak to other tenants the truth comes out as others have placed calls for.service
I believe this company knows the machines aren't working but doesn't come fix them as they are cashing in and cheating the consumer $2.50 X 200PLUS UNITS IN BUILDING ADDS UP TO A LOT. Please coinamatic please stop this practise CORPORATE GREED
Aweful... 5 of our machines are not working... It ate 6.00 last time...I called and we have still not received anything in the mail. Tried to call this evening to let them know yet another 6.00 has been taken. The automated machine said someone would be right with me... Waited 15 mins to find out they are CLOSED... Maybe put a message telling your hours ... Extremely disappointed and would NEVER recommend this company to anyone ..
complete scam for shifty landlords and scumbag intermediaries like coinomatic. most dryer loads need a 2 full cycles regardless of load size (m/l/xl).
This companies laundry machines repeatedly steal money and when you call customer service to rectify they do not refund. I wonder how much of their profit is stealing from people who have no alternate choice but to use their machines. They are stealing from elderly and good people. Just crooked.
Have had the refund problem previously stated on here, driers constantly don't dry arbitrarily. Will use the same drier twice to different results. Customer service is the definition of the run-around.
April 13, 2017. Terrible service.
Tried to load my card with $50, refused,.
Tried again with $50, declined.
Tried a third time with $50, accepted.
Checked my bank account. $150 missing !
Called a disinterested rep who said "It will take 72 hours for refund".
Well, as of April 19, 2017, some 144 hours later still no refund.
But, finally, after 288 hours (that's 12 days), I received a cheque. Incorrectly made out - but that's no real surprise given the general level of service...
That was followed by an unsigned justification email, telling me that the rep had followed procedure.
But the email did not include:
An explanation.
An apology.
Or a discussion as to how they might improve their service.
Just justification of shabby service and policies.
Unfortunately there is not an option for a no star rating.
Now to contact BBB.
Well August 9th. Lucky old me.
money removed from my account, again, without authorization.
This time only $10 as I no longer trust them with larger amounts !
Lets see how long this refund takes.

Machines don't work half the time. Almost never get cleaned, so one is stuck washing clothes with other people's pet hair from the last load. Card loading machines don't work half the time.
Machines are constantly leaking creating slip hazards. Loading machine is either broken or steals money.

Wish there was a -5* button. Horrible company, horrible Customer service, worst washers an dryers ever always have to double dry everything. Today the machine ate my $20 after starting 2 loads in the washer. Went to finish them and load more for the dryer, and it kept my spat my card out but kept the 20$ talk about a money grab. I call customer service and they tell me they will mail me a new card in as weeks time with 20$ value. What about my still wet clothes?? What about my old card valued of 1.50$ not a lot but forget to ask about it and they pocket it. Happens 1000 times a day a card dies they make free money. Boycott this company don't give them your money. If it eats your money demand cash not a card in week, and report it to the BBB screw coinomatic. They suck as a company don't put money in their pockets.
BRUTAL customer service and even worse at servicing coin exceptors, do not do business with Coinamatic you will regret it in every way humanly possible. If it wasn't for all the money they steal, they would have been out of business along time ago.

Worthless. 5th time my clothes have been left soaked. The 24/7 call center doesn't pick up they do nothing to fix things .
Lived with KW4Rent. Washing machine on my floor kept making deafening metallic sputtering sounds and would not stop crashing on the ground; it was obviously broken. I contacted Coinmatic and they refused to put an "Out of Order" sign on the washing machine. The laundry room was literally right beside my bedroom. When I tried to sleep at night, it sounded like there were robots raving in the room next to me. This happened during exam season. Horrible service and experience.
Service is slow, takes 4 to 9 days before they show up at our building and this has occurred many times. They do answer the phone that's why they get two stars.
"Smartlaundry" couldn't be further from the truth! Only thing smart about it is if you.lose your card Coinamatic makes the $$ without use of machines ! WORST!

Add more locations to reload cards, Mississauga is huge and there s ONE LOCATION to reload. There s always something wrong with your machines. Whether it s I m unable to load up my card or the machines at the building aren t accepting our cards. Absolutely terrible service - tell us that it ll take 24 hours to fix the machines, as if people have 24 hours to do their laundry.
if there is negative rating, I would rate this company negative 5. customer service is extremely ignorant and arrogant. Called them on September 15 complains about all of their dryers were not working. well, how do i found about that, I have tried all dryers at 19 singer court building on the day before. I need to dry baby clothes. Wasted dollars on those useless machine and clothes were still wet. It drys a little bit after each cycle. So put another 2 dollars, drys a little bit more. After many many try and switch to 4 different machines, I found out there were no heat nor any air blowing inside those dryers. The company refused to refund the money and deemed their dryer is working fine even if their own repair technician says otherwise upon investigation. Yikes, they were right, you just need 10 plus drying cycles which equal to 20 dollars to dry your baby clothes. After all, dryer is spinning and making noises, eventually water evaporates and clothes will be dried.
Coinamatic can't successfully survive if they actually had to perform maintenance on their piece of sh it machines.
My building as 4 washers and 4 dryers and 3 out of 4 dryers have been broken for 3 weeks straight.
The machines are full of mold, the lint traps are full of holes and the dryers RIP your clothes !!!!!!
This company is a complete shiat show and if you end up contracting them you'll regret it as your Tennant's willncome after you to reimburse them for having ti use a laundry mat becuase this clusterfark of a goof company can't operate.

I have been on hold for over 30 minutes to try and get the machines where I live fixed and still no answer.
So disappointing! This has been an overall horrible experience. I live in one of the buildings that Coinamatic does business with, and their laundry equipment is dirty, it smells, and it's an all out bad customer service experience. I've been calling Coinamatic for about 2 months now, complaining of the bad smells that come from their laundry equiment, and the fact that no one comes in on a regular basis to come and maintain these machines, why? Why not have someone come out and maintain the machines. I'm so uphappy. Spoke to a customer service representative named Saji, and he was so rude on the phone, trying to get me off the phone while I'm trying to express very nicely what seems to be the issue, but this guy just pushed me off the edge! I hate coinamatic so much, that it's time to boycott them completely!
After the third time using the laundry card, it stopped working and displayed an error message on the washing machine. I called the phone number to get a new one, to which they said they were only able to give me a new card with $15 on it, even though I had more than that remaining on the card. But hey, just as long as I get a new card so I can do my laundry, then life goes on.
They sent one out to me and said it would take 7-10 days... 3 weeks later I still haven't recieved it and I'm now running very tight on clean laundry. I called back to ask about it, which is how I found out they never even sent the first card to begin with!!
Now they have (supposedly) sent a new card again, still not even with the full balance I had, and I'm supposed to wait another 7-10 days to receive it. In total, waiting over a month for them to fix this problem, which I still end up short on money from this, and have to do laundry somewhere else until then.. You'd think they would employ a little more urgency with their customer issues.
I can see why their rating is only 1.2 stars.
Update: now two more weeks have gone by since they supposedly sent out another replacement card. Still nothing. Called their customer support line and was told they hadn't even sent it out until 6 days after my request, and "the issue is now in the hands of the post office"... 6 days to put it in the mail. And now they wash their hands of it.

Very bad costumer service, I sent them my laundry card because it broke, it has been 2 months since I've sent it but still haven't received my card yet. There has also been so many times where the machine will be broken and it will just take my money
this is the worst laundry company. I wasted so much money and never get my laundry done. I was so freaking mad earlier because none of the dryer works and wasted 9$ for it. basically their machines broke out every week.
If I could give them zero stars I would... I have been waiting over 16 days for a refund for a charge that did not go onto my laundry card. Their machines are often broken or out of service. Its pretty sad that such an unreliable company can be in business.
FYI, don't even bother calling their customer service. You'll be on hold for 10 minutes and then asked to email about your situation. Customer service phone reps should be able to resolve issues immediately!
No way to have my card reloaded when the machine to reload the card breaks but to travel 20 miles. They also have the guts to raise the prices of the machines when the machines don't work properly half the time. I have to wait 24 hrs with wet clothes because they have no other option allegedly. Unbelievable.

Disgusting washers and dryers. Have ruined my daughters and my clothing with lint. Her work clothes and Lululemon pants are destroyed. Individuals at customer service just don't care. They are saying a repair of all the machines will be done within 1-2 days. Ya right!

I am a property manager of a building where Coinamatic was in charge of our laundry machines. They are horrible with their customer service, many errors of putting the wrong address to a service request, not coming for days or weeks at a time. I had a washing machine smoke up on two separate occasions, the last one happened about a week and half and they still haven t fixed it. As well as I have 2 other machines that have been out of order for 2 weeks waiting for them to fix it (they needed to ordered parts). Over all this company is really terrible, I would not recommend them. One of their employees quit and started his own laundry business.

I rent a dryer and washer from them. The dryer is broken and it makes screeching noise. On July 24 , I called them to tell about it and they said a technician will come out to check it within 24 hours. Nobody came. We endured it until August 24. I called in again a month later to report the same problem . The lady on the phone , named Retinder, acknowledged that I called in July but didn't get any service so she said she is sending someone out within 24 hours . Today is the 25th and nobody showed up again. I had to call in to check up on them and they gave me a phone number of a wrong technician.
I'm very frustrated with this company . They only know how to collect money but don't fix the problems and couldn't care less about their customers.
Stay away if you want to avoid headaches.

Thieves! I rate this company ZERO! The machines in the building are always stealing the money. When you report it they very rarely will return it. And if they do it is done begrudgingly. I ve only had them return money to my card once when I have emailed it in. The other times they don t bother so I end up being short and not able to finish my laundry unless I add more money to my card. So they have proven to me that they are nothing but thieves!!!
I would give a 0 review if it was possible. I constantly have problems making payments with my cc through their terminal in my building. I have been charged for transactions that they say did not get processed. Very inconvenient.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is terrible. You call for machines to be fixed and they still don't work weeks later. The machines in our building are filthy and they stink. I don't even want to use them anymore. Why pay a LOT of money if your clothes come out of the machine with grease marks on them and smelling of God only knows what?
The cut back the value that can be loaded on the cards to only C$30 at a time and charge C$0.85 per load. Why is this so low? Are they using reloads as a revenue center? Also, the maintenance in our building has been spotty at best.

If I could give this SCAM company ZERO stars I would....they took my money on their debit machine gave me a card printed me a receipt...i go use this card and it has a ZERO balance....i call customer service( btw I have a wet load of laundry from my previous card so now I have a wet pile of clothes and no way to dry them) I had to hang up and talk to two different people as they refused to give me the extension or contact information to a supervisor or a manager...really anyone who wasn't going to talk over me saying the same thing Btw not once did these people try to help with this issue..they just kept asking for my name which they didn't need. In the end they STOLE my money and I'll have to cab to a laundromat to dry the clothes that are now soaked....thank you coinamatic for your pathetic customer service department and your fake service and theft from a small person. This won't be my only stop for reviews and complaints I promise.
Wow! These machines were installed in my building tonight. I thought I would check out the reviews to see what I'd be dealing with and my jaw hit the floor! I do believe that there is no possible way to get a lower score! Besides the few replies from Coinamatic, I'd love to hear what they had to say about all the horrible reviews....Coinamatic??

Wonder how many times the machines have been written off for tax purposes via transfer to related corps? I give them a minus star. Now limited phone access none weekends or 'after hours'.

4 Washers in my building, 2 of them out of service for over a week. They say they had to order parts. Isn't the point of 24/7 service for HUNDREDS of buildings and THOUSANDS of machines that you have parts on hand? Coming by and slapping a "Inspected - Parts Ordered" sticker on the machines isn't service.
Even more mind-boggling, my building is in Mississauga, Coinamatic's HQ is too, you would think if parts could be on hand, it would be in your own locality?!
They certainly don't live up to their mission statement.

I am actually dying of laughter at this point, this company is the FATTEST joke I have ever seen in my entire life. I call them everyday to come fix the washer and dryer on my floor and it is so funny because all they do is make empty promises to make you feel better. 3 people have hung on my me and i was livid. Just had another bitter encounter with those useless money grabbing machines. This is fraud and I do not know who to report to. The laundry machines in 2737 Kipling destroys clothes instead of washing them. We had a company (Sparkle) charging 2.25 for washing and 2.00 for drying and had no problem for over 20 years. A new management came and we had these crooks. Now you waste your time and money ruining your clothes. This people have o soul and should not be in this business.
1) They put new money card machines in our laundry room and they don't take the newer Canadian $10.00/$20.00 bills. They also eliminated the $5.00 choice. Sometimes we only need $5.00. They should be put back as a choice.
2) As for the front load machines, the rubber ring around the door is exposed to laundry when in motion. I had disgusting brown marks and streaks on clothes when I took them out of the washing machine. My clothes were CLEANER WHEN I PUT THEM IN compared to when I took them out. I have pictures of the marks!!!!!
3) It now costs $3.25 for a hot water wash and $2.75 for a dry. Do the math.....$6.00 for ONE LOAD of laundry. This is asinine....another $ grab for Coinamatic and the price went up at least twice this year.
This laundry service is terrible Machines breakdown regularly and they say they are going to repair but they take weeks to do so It takes constant calling for them to take any action at all. Be aware, they will tell you that it is scheduled to be serviced "today" or "tomorrow" but it has never been the case. Their machines are old but prices increase year over year. Our condo building management has terminated their contract and will be getting a new company to provide machines and laundry services. Good riddance is all I can say to Coinamatic If you are a looking for a vendor, move on from this company. They will only cause you frustration and headaches.
