Get ANYONE else!

Terrible service and general knowledge. We were beyond surprised that a company that deals in internet related products and services had so little knowledge of them. Watch out for them pushing sales onto people without the knowledge. They have no problem putting the phone down too and they are not shy about making it clear that you are bothering them. We are still in shock about the call and the SEVERE lack of service.

I was told my FTTH installation was taking place on Monday and that the connection would be live on the same day, it is now Wednesday and I've just been told that they have run out of stock of the items needed to finish my installation and that they will "complete" the work tomorrow.
i would highly recommend them if you work from home or if you have lots of leave and a very understanding boss

As a first time applicant, hearing from one of you...

As a first time applicant, hearing from one of your sales consultants that my applicable price will be R299 as per the Website form, and being contacted by another sales consultant that the price is actually R599 as there is an outdated system on the website, does not make it easy to trust the company. I am sorry! Please work on your transparency.. Moreover, being in a complex that already has a basic connection of 15MB/s, does not easily calculate for R599 just for a 20MB/s line upgrade. :/

There has been problems with connection since we started using clear access 2 months ago. Lately, there has been no connection for hours at a time and this has been happening a few times a week. As I write this review, we do not have any internet connection for the past 12 hours. Emails and messages go unanswered. I am very disappointed with their service.

Worst aftersales service ever!
Logged call with regards to packet loss, 5 days and still no assistance.
Have done all the trouble shooting before logging the call and I still get asked about the trouble shooting questions that I have stated that I have done, response is slow, states 24/7 support but yet they ignore you the entire weekend.

I have had nothing but frustration dealing with Clear Access. Every single department has been a frustrating touch point, not to mention disappointing. I had no WiFi for 11 days beginning Feb. After many follow ups on my part (I assume picking up the phone to provide feedback to customers is unheard of here) my WiFi was finally fixed, having cost me over R1k in mobile data over the 11 days. To this day I don't have my refund, payment has been "sitting with finance" for over a week now, I submitted my proof of bundle purchases over 2 weeks ago, still nothing. Again, I do all the following up to empty promises. Can I pls just have my refund so I can stop engaging with you people. It's wasted a lot of my time and energy. Incredibly poor customer service, absolutely hate companies that cause their so called "valued" customers frustration when they are in a position to do something about it.

For the past 2 months I have had little to absolutely no connection. I have to call customer service every other day and multiple times in a day. Work and study cannot be done on some days. Whenever calling customers service I always reach the same consultant who seems to regurgitate the same information with nothing new to offer or an alternative to solving the problem. We are always spoken to as if we have an IT background. It is frustrating not to have a steady internet connection, my previous connection was at a lower speed than I have now, but I did not experience half the problems I have now. Unfortunately the service provider cannot be changed according to Century Property 21 which means that Clear access amidst lockdown regulations forcing people to be home, needs to offer a better service. A service is being paid for with very poor service delivery this is simply unacceptable!

Currently stay at IQ Brooklyn. Took out a 5mb/s line that s uncapped. From the time of installation till now (which is a month) I have received a terrible service because I can t even download pictures or watch any videos etc as the speeds are too slow. I ve complained about this numerous times but every time it s the same excuse (faulty equipment that needs to be replaced). I mean it doesn t take over a month to fix a problem.

Very very disappointed, I have been badly treated as a customer from the very start. Everything has been a problem.
Started with my installation after I spoke to so many people advising them I have my own router, then I get the incorrect invoices and the run around.
It eventually got resolved and my install was done. The technician made a comment though that we were labeled as difficult customers.
After this I got an invoice I called in and asked what this was for and was advised I have to pay my fiber upfront, but upon me calling to take the fiber I was advised my first payment will only be month end, none the less I made the payment, but my ref was accidentally wrong, they then allocated it to another account and set up a debit order to go off on the 15th, without my consent or approval or calling me, this also after I was advised due to being a new client I can make both my payments end October with no issues, now my bank account is in the minus and I am sitting with the penalties - AFTER I MADE PAYMENT... This is highly disgusting service, if I had the choice to use another SP I would - AVOID !!!!

The quality support and expert advice ClearAccess provides their customers is extraordinary! In my opinion it can only be bested by their commitment and superior service.

The internet connection provided by them is also a force to be reckoned with! Broadband as it is supposed to be.

I subscribed to the 15mbs at Sagewood Lifestyle Apartment using Clear access s router. Our internet is always down, at such a speed one cannot even download a picture or even read emails. Moreover, out of 24hrs a day, we only have a constant connection of 2hrs a day. At such a speed you can do better, and currently I m just using my own data because it works better than this fibre.

Service went south since the introduction of the ticket system, I paid for my subscription around 7 o'clock and send the email for proof of payment 30 minutes later, called the support team they told me to send the email to the support email which I did, funny enough on the ticket system all my emails were showing which surprises me because if I could see that, and you a support consultant you should see the same thing on the same ticket system, but till this moment I still don't have internet connection and it has been 12 hours since I made the payment, I am not happy at all with the after-hours support team!!! I was considering moving back to Afrihost and I have an even reason now after the first time I was told that I have to pay for a month of not paying subscription based on the contract I signed which I had never experienced with any ISP

The installers do not come on time as agreed. And when they eventually arrive they do not bring the necessary tools to perform an installation. They do not even bring a drill to install fibe, and insist on borrowing your own tools.
The service is over subscribed and overpriced.

Been sending emails for the past 2 weeks regarding connectivity issues and my emails are ignored. I don't understand why the service level has dropped so much as I have been a happy customer for over a year. No feedback on these complaints and no communication regarding actions taken to resolve the issue. I have to phone in to get feedback and then it is only to hear that "the issue is being investigated and your line is being monitored". How long does it take? And if the issue is a difficult one to resolve then where is the communication regarding the status of the investigation? Very disappointed.

Moved over to CLEAR ACCESS about 2 months ago, and wow!!!! Communication, installation promises and resolution of issues is remarkable.

The most important aspects of customer service are achieved by CLEAR ACCESS, they are always reachable, always communicating and follow through!

Best internet provider with great customer service...

Best internet provider with great customer service. I've been using them for about a year and half since moving to South Africa and they've been consistent. Barely have any problems with the wifi and if anything does happen, I'm always notified and it's fixed at a reasonable time. Kudos to their 24/7 customer service, would highly recommend them.

Exceptional service from Brad to help me troubleshoot my connectivity issue. He spent over 25 mins on the line with me at 7am on a Sunday and was absolutely professional and happy to help. I am very pleased with the service. Well done Brad.

I still haven t been helped with the installation of my router. My token has been process for four days now, and they keep telling me they ll get back to me but they never do. Horrible customer service. Would not recommend. Our estate requires them to be our providers.

Quick and easy service...
Every email I sent was answered within a few hours.
It took a day to make a booking and a minute to reschedule appointments.
The technician who I've received was very helpful and quite knowledgeable.
Would highly recommend Clear Access to everyone. PS: if you're a gamer then I suggest Clear Access for you, they provide the lowest ping time I've ever experienced.

My internet goes down daily for the past month. I get half the line speed I am paying for. Tickets go for weeks without being resolved. A very frustrating experience. Even my ADSL line was more stable than the service I get from Clear Access.

Excellent Support Staff, I was previously with ClearAccess and went over to Cool Ideas and could not stand being the tech support myself, so I am changing back to ClearAccess. Anyone looking for a recommended ISP, I would recommend these guys. Nothing beats a 24 hour support staff that helps, even if you aren't a paying client of theirs. I would however like to see the prices become a bit more competitive as this might inhibit their market share and growth in general. Hopefully as they expand they can drop R200 or so off of their uncapped prices and watch Clear Access be voted number 1 ISP year on year. Friendly and always helpful. Seems like there is a great working environment as the staff are so friendly
