Unfortunately this was a big disappointment. Very expensive for what you get. Staff was less than helpful, no hot water at 8am, older rooms that felt cold instead of cozy. Probably won t go be going back.

Fantastic guest services, checked in and the staff was amazingly friendly and gave us wonderful information and a bag with doggie treats, dog bags and information on pet friendly places around town.

Decent amenities, slow but friendly service. Definitely on the old side, old fixtures, hardware and furniture indicate a remodel that likely last occurred in the early nineties. The pool is nice and patrons of the hotel can utilize the Colorado country club pool as well. Drinks are nothing special, but what's a couple of flat Gin and Tonics between patrons?

See that picture of the kids jumping on the bed! My stay was that times 5! I had the Brady bunch above me and didnt sleep - not the resorts fault but I wished people would be more respective of the noise they make for others that are trying to relax!

We stayed in room 112 last weekend. Our floors were never swept or mopped even before our stay. (hair pin on floor entire 3 days) not mine! Toilet was never washed around the outside of. I finally did it the 2nd evening. Makes me think what else wasn't very clean. Shower clogged. Gross!

This is a decent resort. Rooms were okay and pools were okay. My main concern was their service. I checked in 1 hour early for a 4 day stay and they charged me a $20 early check-in fee. It s the small things. No one answers the phone. Cleanliness isn t their best trait as well unfortunately. Waited 1.5 hours for a luggage bell cart.

The views are great. Their is a good family vibe here. Liked this hotel, but would appreciate better customer service and care for the price we re paying.

Awesome property! Plenty of things to do at the resort and the surrounding area. The gym is awesome. Nice bar and restaurants. Only negative is the pricing at the bar and restaurants. We would have chosen to eat and drink at the resort but it was too unreasonable and there are plenty of other options in the area. If you reasonably price the food and drink you would get alot more business from the guests.

Service was meh. I was there for an even that said breakfast and lunch would be provided. We weren't allowed to touch the hot food like eggs, bacon, and pancakes. I mean I don't mind having fruits and cereal for breakfast but the way the employees told us no was very rude. Lunch wasn't so bad but it felt like we were a nuisance to them because we weren't paying customers... our event was already paid for in advance.

We paid 220 dollars for our room so I was expecting it to be great. We get in there and the furniture was moved around. A dresser door was broken. There was moths in the bed and over the floor. Kids were screaming outside the door. Then the power went out causing us to have to leave early(we have a special needs son with equipment that needs electricity).

The view was great and the beds were comfortable, but all of the other stuff ruined it for us.

Breathe in the fresh air at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort Colorado Springs. Rooms are surrounded by a mountainscape and have picturesque views. Rooms also come with a private patio or balcony perfect for soaking up the views. For a relaxing massage, head to the spa that has a couple s treatment room along with a private outdoor patio with a stone fireplace.

Spend the afternoon playing golf at the hotel, or dine at one of the hotel s signature restaurants. From hand-crafted cocktails to gourmet bites, the hotel has it all. Children will love splashing in the pool, playing a game of tennis, or hanging by the lake.

Location: Just a short drive from the hotel is the Peterson Air Force Base, along with the Garden of the Gods. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum are nearby.

I was so tremendously disappointed to go back to this resort and find that it's quality has declined steeply since 2017. I stayed at the resort for my honeymoon in 2017 and loved it. Went 3 weeks ago and I felt like we were staying at a motel. The bedroom's trashcans did not have bags and were rusting and disgusting, the bathtub had a moldy edge, the towels were cheap. The A/C did not cool down either. We went to Gates Grille and they didn't have the chicken sliders. They used to give god owners complementary baggies and that was not present this time. The pool was in poor state and looked like a forlorn motel pool. The furniture in Elevations is old and dirty. No ambient music either. It was such an expensive disappointment. We are not going back.

Everything was great save for the loud A/C and the creaky floor/ceiling. We never saw our upstairs neighbors, but the building let us know they were there...and probably training horses for dressage in their room. The staff was friendly and helpful and the amenities were boss!

We stayed at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs during the COVID-19 pandemic (specifically during June 2020). Upon booking a room at the resort we were told that there would be room service. Though once we arrived we were told room service was not operating, despite being told over the phone previously. Though we were dissapointed, it was fine since we had ordered a microwave. Sadly, once again, no microwave! Luckily we weren't charged the $20 microwave fee, but during a pandemic, no microwave and room service is unacceptable. Because of this we had to eat out almost everyday and couldn't save leftovers. Our hotel room was outdated with mold on the bathroom ceiling, broken lights, and the safe was locked (the hotel staff offered to fix the safe after we complained, but we decided not to use it). The guests staying in the suite above us seemed to be a herd of elephants, and we had to complain twice. Though, the staff did offer to relocate us, which is appreciated. The view of the mountains from our room was absolutely gorgeous. The location of the resort is the best aspect it has to offer. With a view of the mountains, bunnies running around the resort, and upfront lake access, the location of Cheyenne Mountain is prime! If you wake up early enough you can even spot a deer!
The resort offers many outdoor activities such as golf (club members), lakeside sports (paddleboarding, ect.), beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, soccer, and 3 pools to choose from. The lakeside sports are included in the resort fee, even if you don't use them. Because of COVID-19 we only participated in paddleboarding and beach volleyball. The amount of people in the pools were ridiculous, and it was a breeding ground for COVID-19. Though all the activities are nice if you're willing to take a hike to get to them. The resort is so spread out that if you want to enjoy the lake and other activities from your room, you'll have to walk 5+ minute walk down the hill. I'd advise driving if you're not in good shape and up for walking up hills. During our stay (5 days) it happened to be storming every afternoon, so the activities that weren't closed because of COVID were closed now. I know the resort can't control the weather, but it's such a bummer.
The hotel & restaurant employees kept saying different things from each other. One employee said the restaurant was completely booked, one said the restaurant was closed, and one said we could make a reservation. On Father's Day we ended up dining at the resort restaurant, Gate's Grille. Though they ended up messing up my father's club sandwich, and he was unable to eat it. Generally the restaurant served average food, nothing special.
Overall, the hotel was unprepared for the pandemic and was all over the place. The views were nice, but that's the best thing there. Hopefully the resort is better when a pandemic isn't ongoing, but I'm not sure if I'd still take my family back.

This hotel is nice, but it's not somewhere I would recommend in the winter. Two of the three restaurants were closed on a Friday night, because it was "off season".
You have to go outside to get to the main lobby and restaurants, which is a bummer when it's cold. The hallways are cold also, which made the room feel drafty.
The room was okay, but nothing superior. When people compare this to The Broadmoor I am in shock because the two aren't even on the same level. The Broadmoor is WAY above and beyond this resort.
Staff was very friendly and the dessert we had delivered to our room was very good.
Breakfast was good for a buffet, but not worth what we paid for it.
Nice place, but I won't feel the need to go back.
Maybe it's better in the summer months.

The location was pretty good for us given that we wanted to be close to the zoo. It wasn't particularly close to other activities but we knew that and still liked the location. The service was relatively good. We realized pur toddler needed food quickly and their room service had a kids menu that came within 10 minutes. It wasn't the best food but totally good enough. The restaurant was great for breakfast. The room was decent though not as nice as I anticipated. It was lovely in terms of decorations but had a funky smell and while close to the main lodge that meant we were near the back of the restaurant so when we opened the door we could smell restaurant trash and old food. It bothered my husband but I didn't notice it as much. The room smell bothered me. We didn't have trash bags in the trash cans and there were some stains on the sheets which I find disgusting. The outdoor pool was freezing even though it is advertised as being 85 degrees. It was maybe 60. They didn't have towels by the outdoor pool and were very slow to respond when we called. The indoor pool was much warmer (the advertised 85 degrees!). I didn't realize all the indoor stuff - pool, spa, hot tubs, fitness center, etc are shared with the public which was disappointing. They were fairly crowded on an off day. I wouldn't want to go on a peak day. Still, it was alright. Not sure it was worth the price or that we would go back though.

It was okay. The fitness facility was fantastic! The rooms where nice but we stayed on the first floor and the guest above us woke us up at 5:15 constantly walking back and forth for a consistent hour and a half. Very early for a vacation wake up. We where very frustrated and tired. I informed the front desk. Everything on the resort was extremely expensive. Much more expensive than the lodge we stayed in last night in Breckinridge. The room was much cheaper and so was the resteraunt and it was much nicer. I probably wont stay there again.

Oh my gosh this place was awesome. Very very clean on the inside. The staff was helpful with any questions we had. We were also close to a lot of things. MAKE SURE to take a dip in the hot tub. We could see the mountains from our hotel room.

Lunch buffet served at the resort restaurant is way sub par. A tall black coffee at the on-site Starbucks costs 3+ bucks?! The resort facility is a bit outdated and some lodges are located far from the resort entrance or golf course and fitness/aqua centers, esp. for those staying here without a car. One of the few nice things of staying here is its location, thus the nice view of the mountain, etc..

I paid well over 200 for one night and they couldn't bother to clean the counters or under the bed after the previous guest. We found fake eye lashes in the bathroom on the counter and a bagged dinner roll under the bed. Would not recommend at that price.

What a wonderful resort! Our stay was quiet, all our needs met, and enjoyed the amenities. Only thing I would change is put vending machines or a 24hr convenience market for snacks. But we had an excellent stay here with such a beautiful view of the mountain.

So we are actually still staying at the hotel room. Emily and I like the place but are VERY disappointed that there is 20 dollar charge for a microwave to be brought to your hotel room. No microwave available ANYWHERE WITHIN facility. Also, the kayak rental rep from Aug 27th around 4PM was ABSOLUTELY unprofessional and seemed like he hated working there. We couldn't get the rental because he was too lazy to get up or even talk us. Also, AC doesn't work that well. It doesn't get below 73 and it runs on and off for 5 mins. We had it set at 70 and it took all day to get down to 73

The location is great tucked away in the mountains. The rooms are spacious and accomodating. The only problem would be the restaurant. Service is slow, food takes quite awhile to get to you, sometimes the price on the menu is not what is on the check my friend ordered a burger it said 15 on the menu but the check said 18 the server had no idea idea why and it took her 15 minutes to correct the mistake, we also heard that the kitcheb was backed up even though there was only about 20 people in the restaurant. The breakfast was mediocre for 20$. The free coffee in the rooms was better than the 4$ coffee they gave you in the restaurant. All in all a good scenic place to be but save your money and buy food at McDonalds

Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a clean and picturesque place. The week I was there, they suffered some weather damage to a couple meeting rooms and they did a great job of getting us other undamaged rooms and keeping our business event on a roll!

Very nice resort. The staff were all incredible the entire week I was there, with the exception of an evening housekeeper that I'll discuss below.
Loved that every room has it's own private balcony! Mini fridge was broken when I checked in, but the housekeeping staff contacted maintenance right away and had it replaced. Ice machine for my building was also out of order, so had to walk over from the far side of my building to the opposite side of the neighboring building. But those were just minor inconveniences...the bed was so comfortable and the views of Cheyenne Mountain are splendid!
Food is outrageously priced and no better than eating at a local Applebee's. But there are many great amenities there to enjoy, so it made up for the lack of good food and high prices.
One night, we were booted from the pool area as it was after 10 pm. We were fine with that...time had slipped away and it was 19:15, but the groundskeeper tried to make everyone take the furthest gate to leave. One woman was unable to walk due to a bad foot injury. He would not allow her to take the exit where she would have a ramp, but told her she had to use the stairs! After we all got very upset, the groundskeeper finally allowed the injured women to leave out by the ramp gate, but it never should have come to that, especially when it was very apparent she was unable to bear weight on that leg.

Stayed here for a family reunion. Staff was not very helpful, rooms were in shambles, and the exterior of the buildings were very run-down and in need of repair. Don't waste your money on this place!

4 star hotel? The reviews are incredibly misleading on here. The staff was fairly friendly but when there was kids running around our floor and slamming doors non stop at 10pm and I callled down to complain.. I simply recieved a "sorry sir they are part of a deca program there is nothing we can do." The hot tub was dirty like it hadnt been cleaned in forever. The "adult" only pools were gender specific as well as the sauna... Whats the point of that? 9.50$ for a beer at the bar.

Friendly staff, disappointing room. We upgraded to a king room with a view, only to find our view was of a tree........ Room smelled of smoke, trash still in the trash can, weird ticking noises from the pipes kept us up. I cannot recommend this hotel. There are plenty of other choices in Colorado springs that will provide a better experience for the money.

The pool/canoe acess was limited, we were not told at check in that it closed early, when we got to our room , got ready headed down to the area we were quickly told they were closed and not allowed to stay. We asked when they would reopen the next morning and were told 11:30 a.m. checkout is at 11:00 a.m.

The inside is very nicely decorated, and whole there were about 4 other Christmas parties going on, there was no interference from the other events. The staff were incredibly courteous, and the service was top class. It is a bit on the pricey side for drinks, but it is well worth it.
