Beautiful lobby, deck and view. We only experienced their Sunday morning buffet. It had lots of quality options, that focused more on the lunch than breakfast. Some options were better than others, but lots of good choices.

I am not certain who is writing these 4-5 star reviews. However I travel for a living, and this is MUST AVOID property. The rooms are very dated and essentially run down. The bar area I sat next to another couple and after 15 minutes with two bar tenders none of us ever even got an acknowledgement. Suffice to say no beer. The couple said it took 30 minutes to get their first beverage. We literally felt amazed. Top that off with two millennial friends of theirs came behind us and they looked over our heads to serve them. Absolutely unreal, twilight zone stuff. I left to go to restaurant to get a beer. Waiting another 10 minutes until a hostess finally appeared. I truly had enough. I walked. Went to a great Mexican restaurant block away. Got a beer and good food in minutes. Avoid this resort. Wyndham now owns it its clear there is no training, lack staff, and care less attitudes. Dont spend your money here. Its awful. Stay at the Broadmoor, more $ but you ll thank me later.

We booked a couple wellness spa package for our anniversary in June 2019. The package included spa and breakfast and we made all the payments during the time of booking(probably a month in advance)
Apart from the location, there is nothing special about this place, The spa service was ok, no complains. But the hotel itself is way too overpriced for the service they offer.
The rooms are just basic. We could not sleep all night due to people living on the floor above us. Don't know if they were dancing or running all night or if there was an elephant in that room. Finally the noise went down at 4 am and we got some sleep.
Getting the breakfast in the morning is what disappointed me the most. We were not given the breakfast coupon while we were checking in and were told that we can collect it the next morning. But when we went there next morning to collect the coupons, we were treated very skeptically. As if we were lying about it. They made us wait on the side for very long time while they were discussing things among themselves and double checking about our package. They did not give us the coupon but told us that they have made a call to the restaurant so we are good. But when we went to the restaurant, we found out that nobody had given any information about us and we were questioned, we explained everything again and were made to wait AGAIN while they had multiple discussions and phone calls AGAIN. We had to wait almost 30 mins.
It was so frustrating. We were simply trying to get breakfast which was included in the "COUPLE WELLNESS SPA" package which we had already PAID for. We felt humiliated. We did not go there to beg for free breakfast.
Both the reception and the restaurant staffs were rude. I would never spend so much money on places like this.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights prior to Christmas Eve, 2013. We were down here to visit family and Cheyenne Mountain was pretty reasonably priced, so we decided to give it a try. Over Christmas time at least, the lobby and grounds are beautiful. The lobby was wonderfully decorated and certainly celebrated the season! At check in, the front desk staff were very nice and helpful and offered to help with anything, which I appreciated. We stayed in the 'Buffalo' lodge, in one of the upper floor rooms. It was a nice room, with nice accouterments and a pleasant bathroom, and everything worked. The room wasn't very big, but that's not much of an issue for us. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well while we were there. The only comment we had about anything negative was that the heater was right next to the bed, under the window, and it was probably the loudest heater I've ever heard in a hotel room! It wasn't really an issue, it was just very loud! We would stay here again, though...as long as the price was reasonable.

A quiet place to enjoy snow covered mountains just outside your window. Heated swimming pool with spa. Spacious rooms with small refrigerators. A business center. Convention centers, world class restaurant. Golf course next to a large relaxing pond where seasonal fowl can be heard. Just 10 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs. Minutes from Fort Carson.

My husband and I had our honeymoon here. It was a HORRIBLE experience When we checked into our room, it looked NOTHING like it did in the photos. It almost had a psych ward feel to it. My maid of honor went out of her way to upgrade us to a suite with rose pedals and champagne, which the hotel failed to provide. My husband tried to talk to the front desk, but they were rude and less than accommodating. The bathtub was disgustingly dirty, so I gave the front desk a try. I ended up bawling my eyes out in a wedding dress on my honeymoon night because the staff was awful. We checked out thirty minutes after check in. I ve tried filing a complaint for two months now and somehow there is never a manager there to speak to. Save your money and enjoy your honeymoon at the broadmoor. This place is awful.

So me and my husband & children were staying here for a few days while we were waiting on our house to get finished painted.... we were on the second floor...
One of our last few nights, a couple and their dog and toddler check in to the room below us...
At 7pm my autistic 2 yr old son was getting tired and cranky...he started to throw a fit stomped his feet two times before I got to home to comfort him and hold him....2 seconds later our floor shakes of someone slamming the door, banging on our door to rudely tell us we need to shut our child up...didn t care to hear my apology or explain why my son was crying. A few minutes go by after my son settles and lays down..I walk outside to be threatened and harassed by the husband and wife approached and talked very dirty too...I called the front desk...and they were so sweet and helpful the lady that was working at the time kept me calm stayed on the phone with me....they were just awesome!! I suggested I would move to a first floor so nothing like that would happen again (even though I do not let the babies storm around or stay up past 930 pm) the manager called back and told me I absolutely did not have to move, she wanted to make sure me and my family were comfortable she moved the guest under me across the resort so we wouldn t have no running ins....she also put the room under us out of order for the remaining of our stay....they were just very sweet!!!! Made sure we were comfortable and ok! I honestly love this hotel I refer it to all my friends and family....and I m actually going to see about doing my wedding here the housekeepers and Whole entire staff was amazing thank y all!

The pool was lovely and the staff was super friend...
The pool was lovely and the staff was super friendly but the room was bland, generic and undecorated. The website shows upscale decor leading me to believe this was a luxury resort. The room was extremely disappointing. It was clean, and the linens and pillows were nice, but the curtains and walls were grey and there was nothing on them. The rooms shown on the site had beautiful headboards and colorful decor. It was like a clean version of Motel 6 with a good TV and I was very disappointed. I also was under the impression that this was more "hotel/resort style" than motel style with things so spread out around the grounds. Overall I just feel mislead by the website and would have stayed elsewhere had I known how misrepresented the property was. We came for a romantic, relaxing weekend just lounging in the room but it was just so blah and washed out that I hardly wanted to be in it. I had also looked forward to relaxing on the balcony with scenic views but the view of the parking lot below was hardly a view I wanted to revel in for any amount of time.

My in-laws love coming here for the buffet. There are excellent made-to-order omelettes and waffles. And, while the buffet is a much higher experience than most buffets, it's still a buffet. Food is often to dry, cool, lamp-warmed, limp, or soggy.

Beautiful views from the balcony. The room was comfortable and fresh, did not seem dated at all, other than the outer door did not seal well and had gaps beneath where cold air seeped in. Loved the two separate sink areas and the nicely finished bathroom with granite counters and beautiful tilework.
The beds were very comfortable and plush, with all white bedding. Huge flat screen TV with plenty of channels available.
There was a mini fridge but no microwave, which was a disappointment. It did have a hairdryer, iron and coffeemaker.
Housekeeping was great, as were the front desk clerks. Breakfast buffet and omelets were amazingly good!
It was conveniently located to the places we went.

If the weather is good (and 90% of the time in C Springs it is) this is a lovely place to have a drink and a bite to eat. It is very clean with a lovely pool, golf course and large deck to dine out at. I love the log-cabin feel with the country decor. The staff is great and the drinks and food are top notch!

I loved it! The only cons are that the exterior doesn't look very impressive, my duvet was upside down on the bed, and also dogs can't go into the aquatic area. Also, the restaurant breakfast was mediocre. Otherwise, this place is beautiful and expansive - an unexpectedly amazing experience close to the heart of CO Springs. The balcony overlooking the mountains were great around sunset. The spa is worth a visit, too! All around very surprised by how great this place is.

Rat droppings at ice machine. Large cracks in concrete walkway. Weather stripping loose in doorway. Hair in the bathtub. Noisy foot traffic from room above. Far from what I was lead to believe, highly disappointed, especially for the price - $300/night.

The staff is amazing. The view and accommodations are top notch. The view was gorgeous and the buffet food was excellent. The staff really went out of their way to help the guests and I rarely had to wait at the counter to be helped. The onsite country club was very nice too. I had a great massage while I was there, and you could walk or they will drive you. The room was very clean and neat. The DirectTV was horrible, but hopefully you're not there to watch TV.

This place didn't look like a resort to me, but it could be due to the fact that I visited during the winter and it snowed a lot. The maid service was great. We requested a microwave to heat food for our toddler. It was quickly delivered but instead of stopping at the door, the staff walked right into the room without even stopping to take off his shoes.

What a downturn in recent years!! We had two amazing stays in 2013 and 2015 and thus desired to return recently. If you want a straight answer about rates currently, however - don't expect one. Two separate calls within 2 days yielded 2 different quotes with a difference of $2,000+ (for the same exact room, mind you). Only explanation I could get was "rates fluctuate." I requested to speak to a manager, was refused, and then after leaving my contact info for a return call NEVER received a call back. The views are great, but customer service is HORRIBLE recently. Not good business to ignore issues. We found somewhere else to stay, needless to say.

Not super impressed. Reserved two deluxe rooms. One has a strange smell. I ve tried Lysol, opening the door for fresh air, and essential oils. The smell isn t going away. Requested top floor and was put on the first level. Noticed another review stating the bathrooms were small with no counter space. I checked the deluxe rooms pictures online, they showed double sinks, yet we have the same small bathroom and counter space. Nothing about these rooms feels deluxe. Our view is a road and parking lot with the mountains in the background. We are spending over $2,000 for lodging, and I m mad that I m feeling disappointed. Also, pools are crowded!!

We had our start of the year party at the Cheyenne mountain resort and had a great time. They provided games and had a very friendly staff. The food was good, but a majority of it was very high in calories with only one vegetation option.

The hotel room was generally clean. The patio was neat and floor to ceiling windows were nice. We reserved a room that was "mountain view" but we had such a tiny view of the mountain because the angle of the building. It was actually the staircase that Actually got a mountain view. There are multiple (about 4) resort lodges your room could be placed in. You may want to request a certain lodge if you want a mountain view.
In the king executive, there were two sinks, one in the toilet/shower room and one just outside which was convenient for two people. The downside was that the counters seemed like they had not been washed very well, the tub was clogged so that I was standing in water while I was showering, and there was a fair amount of dirt around the light switches. What used to be a can-light heat lamp in the ceiling just outside the shower still functions as a light, but they no longer use a heat bulb. A luxury item that's fantastic to have, but I can understand cutting an item like that from the budget. The problem is that you need the light to see in the shower and it's on a timer so part way through your shower you lose all your light. There is also an old touch tone phone hanging on the wall by the toilet. It was fun to see, but dates the place.
The bathroom floor and shower are tiled and it looks nice. Someone picked out nice patterns. There's a pretty decent sized hole where the plumbing of both the sink and the shower head meet the wall. That's fairly common in hotels for some reason, even though it looks so trashy, so I can't really rate against them too much for that.
Someone had poured coffee into the reservoir of the machine where you would normally pour your fresh water, so I was unable to heat up water. What's more is that the process of unplugging the machine from the wall requires you to get behind the TV console which makes me question how well these machines are ever washed. Clearly this one was missed. With all that said, the glass of the machine was clean, the ceramic coffee mugs appeared clean, and the pull out station in the TV console for the coffee and beverages was clean and useful.
Dresser drawers and other furniture in the room was clean, but the couch was so worn out the cushions were completely flat.
The bed seemed to have worn divots where you sleep, but sometimes that's difficult to judge. They did add some very nice down-type topper to this bed that was very comfortable. As for the down-type blanket on top of the bed that initially seemed nice, it did not actually have a cover, it was just sandwiched between two loose sheets on the bed. The comforter, and all three decorative pillows seemed clean and smelled good.
Dishes from two different rooms sat in the hallway on the floor for over a day and a half. Housekeeping was there when we first saw the dishes and they should have been through again by the time saw the dishes still there.
I had planned to spend more time in the resort but I had assumed all their services and food were probably the same quality as these rooms...which is less than satisfactory.
It is a resort hotel.
It is a resort hotel.
The scenery that can be specially mentioned is outstandingly good.
When you go out to the deck at the back of the lobby, you will be greeted by an outstanding view.
The correspondence of the staff is also good. I couldn't speak English and managed to communicate with Google Translate, but everyone responded without making an unpleasant face.
