One of the best zoos in London. Clean and well looked after. Young children simply adore this place. Lots of events throughout the year. Make sure to book in advance as it will cost you almost twice as much if you don't . Apart from the zoo there are numerous other attractions for the kids to enjoy.

Of all the 'merlin' owned parks this is probably my favourite. The two hotels have great family rooms with separate areas for the children. There is also additional access to the wildlife areas in the evening if you stay. The rides are well spaced and offer something for all. If the queues are a little large there are shows, animal talks and feedings and walk around areas to keep you occupied. A clean and well presented park.

Good day in general, not many people wearing face masks around park but on some rides it was being governed by staff. Seemed very busy as well so not sure how we was meant to keep to the 2m guidance. All staff had face coverings and seemed friendly.

Truly appalling service from the majority of the staff - can only assume the management is appalling as the people that work there clearly don't want to be there! Rides are great, with the usual long queues.

The rides and attractions are very entertaining and the security and safety of them and the overall park is very high. However, the prices of food are very high and the staff sometimes take a while to prepare food. The zufari and animals there are very fascinating and I would recommend going to see atleast one of their wide variety of animal attractions.

Worth returning again and again. Plenty of rides to choose from, both for little ones, teens and even adults.
Perhaps you want to go for their annual pass and visit as many times as you want?

Brilliant day out, I would highly recommend downloading the app for ride times and a map though. Food and gifts are pretty expensive but that is to be expected at places like this. The park was clean and the animals looked healthy and happy.

Awesome place, great fun and take care of the locals with the free tickets. Queue times could be shorter but hey good rides and I mean really good rides should have long queues. Only problem there needs to be more signs as it is really hard to navigate and more toilets.

Could really do with an upgrade, it's barely changed in the last 20 years and it's starting to really show. Having said that, it's still fantastic for families that have never been. They're also doing a great job during Covid

My brother is in a wheelchair and he cant get on any roller-coaster even though they have a picture of a person in a wheelchair at the top of the stairs at every disabled entrance and another thing is my dad booked giraffe feeding as a surprise vip experience for my brother and my mum birthday and when we went to do it it was fully booked even though we booked it in june and they offered a full refund or we could do it again at 4'o'clock

After having temperature taken before your aloud in was nice to see unfortunately we spent the next almost 2hrs trying to find out how to use the photo thing that we purchased on line when we eventually found it was closed so we gave up on that having an autistic 9yr old was a stressful experience. Went on some rides then fold out on the vampire ride how the photo thing worked the staff were pelit but not always useful food was way over priced As you'd expect & lots of games not working or not powerd up not likely to re visit

Last time I went to Chessington was in the summer holidays with two children under two. The rides suited them perfectly and we were able to go on many rides before lunch as the queues were not too extreme. THe only complaint was the amount of wasps in the park which meant we had to cut lunch short! Would go back again any day!

Usual busy theme park. Excellent standards on the whole but queuing is the usual drain, with long queue times being the biggest problem that needs addressing. Had to wait an hour just to leave the car park. Think you pay for car parking but we had annual passes giving it for free. Food / shop prices overpriced as expected. Clean overall, toilets fine as long as you can stand the crafty smokers outside the quieter ones. Rides are great, but staff can look bored at times. Zoo / animals part excellent. Overall a great day.

Expensive, dirty, poorly signed and too many rides gone or out of action for the amount of visitors. 5 years since my last visit and nothing had been refreshed apart the boring misery that is now the Gruffalo ride (bring back bubble works). Will probably be 5 years until I bother again, even with Merlin passes. Hope the rest of the Merlin attractions are better than this.

I absolutely love this place and always have but sadly a few things let it down.

1. They simply let too many people in. The waiting times for rides are just too much, for kids and adults and there is no seating in the queues. Even fast track can't really be counted as fast. I noticed a lot of rides that can fit 5 people going off with just 2 or 3 and rides for 4 people going out with 2. At other parks it's common to ask the queue if there's a small group to fill the empty seats and I rarely noticed the staff doing this.

2. The food/drinks/merch are very expensive, especially considering how much the tickets are. I'd recommend bringing a packed lunch and if you want to buy something with the Chessington logo on that's fine but if it's just a teddy or little toy you're better off buying it elsewhere.

3. There was only 2 water fountains throughout the park to refill water bottles. It's important to stay hydrated but as I've said the drinks are very pricey so more free water fountains would be nice.

Other than that it's amazing, the rides are very fun, I was sad about Bubbleworks going but I must say the Gruffalo ride was lovely! Whilst the food is costly there is a great variety to try if you can afford it, the toilets that I went to were all clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the zookeepers very knowledgeable (wish they had a bit more time to talk to us animal lovers) the animals seem happy and well cared for, the Sealife center is just beautiful, I'm in awe every time I walk through it and it's just an amazing day out for the family! I wish I could give it 5 stars, maybe next time?

Visited Chessington with my girlfriend for a weekend away, the experience was very fun and memorable, the staff were very pleasant and helpful for the whole two days and ride operations were really good even though some queues were quite long even though that was expected. The only thing I have to point out was that the social distancing wasn't really that great and think more should be worked on more. Other than that our time there was brilliant.

Rides are good, but the prices are high. Charging for parking after forking our a small fortune feels unfair, exit barrier wouldn t read the ticket which created even more queues after a day already spent queuing. Staff on the rides are as helpful as they can be and running out of paper maps would be ok if the app worked well. Which it didn t.

1) Its a very expensive day out for 5 people.

2) There should be a limit of how many people should be allowed in. It would make Chessington world of adventures more enjoyable If there wasn't so much queuing up for the rides.

Chessington world of adventures could be better if they wasn't trying so hard to squeeze money out of their customers at every opportunity.

Rides and zoo means there's usually something for everyone. This was out of main season so queues were ridiculous for the Vampire (1hr+) and people seemed quite bad tempered as there were not many other rides open. Many areas were closed off including the tigers. We did have a lovely time in the zoo area, sea life when it got too cold and we fed the giraffes which was so much fun. The donuts are amazing and worth queuing for. Soya milk available at one kiosk.

A few of the staff at the stalls and in the restaurants are rude and don't look happy to be there. I had booked a table for dinner at temple and was standing at the other restaurant with my 4 year old because I was unsure of where temple was. Every member of staff ignored it's and kept walking past us they didn't even acknowledge us. I then got the attention of a staff member who told me to go and stand in a queue "over there". I then find out I've been sent to the wrong queue. Other than that, Chessington is a fun place to take the kids and the hotel is lovely

Covid 19 safety on all rides and all the staff were wearing masks and gloves.
Even though the park was busy it was a pleasant busy, you could get to the rides easily enough.
Sadly the main restaurant was closed with no reason given but there were still other places to get food and drink.
They are adding some new rides so there are workmen about but this doesn't distract from the rides.
We really enjoyed our day and will be back again soon.

The place is huge but it needs more organisations. Even with a FastTrack pass a small family can't do more than 4 to 5 rides only if u rush around. Avoid the place on a public holiday. The rides and the zoo the concept over all is good.

Went on a Thursday during school holidays, admittedly that was the first mistake. We arrived at opening time and the first ride was already a 70 minute wait. We managed to do about 3 rides over the whole day. Food is very expensive in the More

You need a weekend to get the best out of this place. Or at to jump queue. 70-90 minutes for a big ride. So imagine you arrive 10am allready car queue then queue again to get In park. Then queue again for the ride you first ride is no 12:30 enjoy..close at 5pm..I think the main queue should allow one fast track on entry. But ha I don't run the park..also queue should be more interesting little things to do along the way. Keeping kids entertained is hard..as they get frustrated and bored. But they enjoy the ride in the end.

Too expensive and queueing to much for the rides. Some of the ride would be 120min but majority will be 60 to 65 min. At very few rides the queue was 30min. Opens at 10am close at 6pm. 8 hours in total loosing 1.5 to 2 hours for the lunch.6 hour for the rides. Not worth it. Managed to do today 5 rides. Water more expensive than coke

Spent two days here even did the girraffe feeding experience had a great time looking around the animals and the keepers are very friendly . But when it comes to the rides we had to queue for ages only to be told the ride had broken down this happened 3 times and then when we went to go on another ride instead that one also broke down . Either I have really bad luck or they break down all the time. And the queues are so long you spend most of your time in them .

Great fun had by all. Some of the queuing is a nightmare length of time and please do not waste your time queuing if you have a child under the height limit. We saw people queuing for over an hour only to get to the entrance where they were turned away because the child was too small. Maybe Chessington should have someone measuring at the start of the queue instead of the end

The for 4 stars was overall visit the minus one is for parking, some one some where must of know about parking, you should have had a member of staff on the road outside the overflow car park but rather than that everyone went to the main park for you to tell them to turn around and head back down the road aart from that it ws a great day, thank you . Tony. Chippenham.

Great for the kids. Plus they have a Sea Life Centre in the park. A great addition and adds to the overall experience.
I especially like the Gruffalo experience and the Room on the Broom experiences.

Not disable friendly like made out to be. Staff force disabled guests (who have already clarified to guest services that they can t walk or only a couple of steps) to walk up huge inclines, stairs, 40+ meters, STAND in line for over 30+ minutes for ride access. Then you are basically asked by insentive, terribly trained staff, to basically PROVE you can walk. There are minimal ramps - if any.

No guest should have to clarify there condition if they already have been approved to ride. we have already clarified that with guest services! We already know we can t walk!! THIS IS DISCRIMINATION!!

This park is EXTREMELY lucky is hasn t been sued yet.

Why haven't we been before!! Tied this in to a weekend in London. Had a great day. The park itself is lovely. And a fantastic array of rides for riders young and old. Our 6year old could get on all but 2 rides. She's 1.2m tall. Will certainly be travelling here again. Great park, great rides, great zoo but most of all great staff. Thank you chessington.

Great half day out from London. Not very big but there are a good number of family rides and a zoo. Social distancing measures in place with hand sanitisers everywhere. Helpful and friendly staff.

Too long queues.. We went on a Thursday and it took us around 2 hours on a single attraction (Zufari) there are no instructions outside for the average waiting time.. plan before you go.

The rides were quite faulty
Good theming and audio
All rides feel safe

10,000 people let into the park, which means it's impossible to enjoy your day and its difficult to get on more than two rides in a whole day. As guests pay to enter the park then rides are free they clearly are keen to let in as many as possible regardless of how that affects the availability of rides/restaurants. This place needs a manixum of 5,000 guests to even remotely have an enjoyable day. Extremely dissatisfied with our visit and a very poor day for our children and family. We will never consider returning and suggest anyone going as a family with children to think again unless its a quiet day. Wasted time and money, time you cannot get back.

Ride wait times ridiculous. Not open for long enough. 10am until 5pm
Staff slow on drink and food outlets, didn't seem to know what they were doing.
Very expensive.

Allow time for security to search all your bags.

Queues for rides were still up to 75 minutes which I feel is on average on a normal day. Minimal food venues open with the ones that were open were 20 minutes wait meaning large number of people hanging around waiting for food and drinks.

Lots of floor signs to keep social distancing and masks on rides where required.

We have been here loads of times, but not for a few years. Things are looking very run down, I know it is off-season, but nothing was open. Most food places were shut, the ones that were open had broken machines and couldn't serve. Of all the big rides only Cobra and Vampire were open, and Vampire was shut for the morning. I put a pound in a grab machine and the grabber went halfway down then the machine crashed and would do nothing.
In the first 15 minutes we were directed to a helpdesk to get "reimbursed" because so many rides were shut. Staff at the helpdesk were rude, and would not offer any kind of refund. They said we could have a ticket for another day, if they escorted us from the park there and then (after a 1.5 hour drive to get there). All this with my eight-year-old crying in the corner.
We made the best out of a bad situation and had some fun, but we were ripped off and they refused to put it right. Things can go wrong but there is no excuse for bad customer service. Sadly our last visit.

I myself am not disabled, but if you are there are almost no rides there that you're able to go on considering there's all stairs and no ramps, plus it doesn't make it any better that the employees are rude to those who need any physical assistance and just tell them to get up when they clearly can't. I could go further but I'll end it there.

Lovely day despite busy half term, my score would be 5* if there was more drink stations for refills, not all rides open from the start had to wait till the afternoon for Tiger Rock to open and Dragon Fury was also closed upon entry.
