Could do better in terms of getting the disabled access sorted. Very under stocked. Didn't have a replacement lanyard and card holder for premium pass. Disabled entrance mismanaged. Huge wait times. Alton towers have better information and guest help centres. Even LEGOLAND is ok. This one's just inadequate.

Lots of different rides for my 12 and 4 year old boys. We had a ride access pass for my son and it helped our day run so smoothly. COVID prevention efforts were poor. They could have signed up for Eat Out To Help Out but chose not too. Not sure why?

The parking for disabled vehicles was a bit confusing and some of the animal enclosure fences are at eye level for wheelchair users (we took 5 students, all in wheelchairs and they all struggled to be able to see into the enclosures through the fences) but otherwise we had a great day. Love the changing room with hoist and changing bed. Would go again

Being British, I adore queuing. There are queues a plenty, my favourite being the 40min queue in the car park to leave the site; I shed tears of joy!

That aside, there are plenty of rides to satisfy most tastes.

Just ensure your children are tall enough to ride as the safety restrictions are rigidly applied.

I have visited other Merlin attractions since the easing of lockdown. Up until visiting Chessington I have been impressed.
At Chessington there is zero social distancing and no enforcement of wearing face coverings. Most of the staff are young and seem scared to approach anyone.

Lovely place but just be careful when you go! We booked an overnight stay with entry to the park. Hotel and food was exemplary. However all the attraction rides were closed. Only toddler-type rides open. This wasn t made clear when booking a short break so we were left very disappointed! Please CHECK what rides are open if you have older children

Decent enough, came on a quiet day which is nice. Lack of obvious/signposted water facilities was disappointing and staff were adequate which is a shame. In general the under utilisation of seating on rides was confusing, frustrating and unanswerable by staff. It's good, but I wouldn't say there's much to push it into great.
Edit: Bonus star awarded for the girl doing announcements on Scorpion Express. She clearly cared and was having fun which made a huge difference!

Great place to go if you don't mind queuing. The queues today are between 35 and 60 minutes long. The rides are good with something for everyone. Take your own food and drink though as it is quite expensive there.

Brilliant brilliant brilliant! It's a theme park where everyone goes to have fun, eat, puke, then do it all over again! Staff are brilliant, all rides open with good que times even for the time of year! Shops, toilets and plenty to do! Fully recommended to ANYBODY from 3 to 103!

Worst theme park I've ever visited. Some of the so called spectacular rides were not opened and no information on this pre booking. On queue for over 2 hours for one ride - Cobra...terrible family day out experience!

After visiting today for the 1st time with my son i can only rate it 2 star. It just was not for us. The food from the burger bar was cold and inedible and over priced. Staff in the park where great though

This is an excellent theme park, especially for families and younger children (there aren't enough extreme rides for teenagers and grown ups). However, Covid makes the queues even longer for the popular rides, which makes it frustrating. We waited 2 hours for Dragon's Fury, a 1m20s ride. I don't care how excellent the ride is, nothing is worth that much queueing. The queue was always packed throughout the day and we jumped in towards the end of the day when the live queue indicator said it was down to 60 minutes (a first as it was already 80 minutes by opening time). It ended up being 2 hours exactly. Crazy. The app is good but could be better. Food options are limited but OK. It would be nice to have more healthy options. Overall we had fun but my son was bitterly disappointed he couldn't ride Vampire again because Dragon's Fury took so long.

Nice place but waiting time for the rides are way to long sitting in line waiting to go on with a Shcool and not all the seats are getting full very frustrating for the kids pointing this out
For schools I think they should open a little earlier so they can get on more then 3 rides in one full day trip

I've been here twice and the rides are actually really nice! But the queues are really long and slow. I once waiting in a queue for around 30 minutes. It's slightly expensive too. But overall, it's an amazing theme park, and I recommend that you go there.

Arrived at 10am and left at 1pm. Way to many people in the park, over 80mins for any ride. Staff not wearing masks or adhering to social distancing of any kind. Saw kids and adults skipping the lines and going down the disabled line. Did not feel safe in this park, managed to do 1 ride. Our responsibility to keep in social distancing same the staff just watch and allow people to push their child and family in front of a 6 year old girl who was watching the tiger approaching.

I used to come here as a child with my family and always loved it. I now come here as an adult and still love it.

I like the mixture of rides and animals at Chessington. The staff are knowledgeable about the animals they keep and always show a care for them. The shows are always fun and interesting. The new tiger rock is really good. Food is normal for a theme park so I have no complaints on that.

The rides in the park are not scary so if you like thrill rides then maybe thorpe or alton towers would be better. I life the cobra ride and can go on this many times.

I am a Merlin pass holder and come to Chessington the most. I look forward to my next visit.

We absolutely love coming here, there's a wide selection of stuff to do for kids of all ages including rides, animals, an aquarium, and live shows and presentations. It can get very busy at the weekend but if you time it right midweek you can pretty much avoid all the queuing. Highly recommended!

A great place for a short break, with what should be the standard family hotel rooms. The park is good fun, and the on-site facilities are good, although maybe some more picnic areas would be a nice addition.

Sadly the worst of all the UK theme parks for sure. Over priced, 70 quid for fast track on top of the ticket, 4 quid extra to park, a couple of decent rides and reasonably priced food. The staff at the entrance were shockingly incompetent, not interested in anything but chatting to each other and it took us 40 minutes to get in to the park despite there being no queue. Will never be coming back and would not recommend this as a day out. Only highlight were the beautiful tigers. Nearly forgot, it took nearly 50 minutes to get out of the car park!

Is a nice place to spend time. It's a mix between a zoo and aquarium and rides. There is lots to do and see. There is a sealife center, animals, and big and small rides. There is plenty of restaurant. There is a carpark but you More

Ive put 1 star only as there wasn't a minus. Will never go here again I made a complaint as we stayed in the hotel and things were not right but they wouldn't go with me to see the problems they said they would email me with the reply and they said there was no problem but at 1am when the toilet wont flush and 3am when the toilet flush falls out of the wall and there is a piece of angle iron sticking up in the bed that hurts my grand child and at 7am in the morning when you shower the bath doesn't flow away and the non slip mat floats to the top of the water.

I AM ONE REALLY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER
I sent an email

Quite crowded on entry but handled good with the virus restrictions. Surprised with larger amounts of visitors generally around the park rides and eating places long waits. Enjoyed the rides we managed to get on ,and the well laid out animal enclosures . The park app is good for planning your trip. Parking not very good in grass and mud fields with exit awful on untarmac tracks exit road really bad !

It was a good family day out with my wife and teen. We managed to get on all of the top rides, it was a nice warm day and a chilled experience. Queue lines were quite good, partly because it was school term time and a Monday

Fun visit to the park. Unfortunately the hotel don't feel the need to let guests know when one of the two restaurants is going to be temporarily closed due to "lack of demand". Despite dozens and dozens of angry parents unable to feed their families due to such high demand that there are no tables in the remaining restaurant before 9pm Kitty

I ve come here many times before. It s an amazing family friendly park, with plenty to do. The beauty of this park is that there s more than just rides. Many theme parks focus on them, whereas here they have lots of animals and shows to see when you are not queueing. There is such a broad range of rides, from bumper cars and log flumes to thrilling roller coasters. The only down side is how busy it gets. During the school holidays, the queues can become mental. Alton towers tends to be a lot quieter, with bigger rides. However I would definitely recommend this park for a fun family day out!

Great place to spend the day with facility or friends. Lots of fun rides to sit on and lots of good for to eat. Also has lots of games to play or animals to see if you get bored (I doubt you will)

Stayed at the hotel and it was lovely! The rooms were spacious and more less perfectly clean! You really do feel like your on With regards to the actual theme park, I would definitely advise you pay a fast track ticket as the wait times for the best rides were essentially 30-45 mins, so not worth it if you have a small restless child with you. The park itself is however really clean and has loads of activities. The Zoo and Sea Life centre are nice.

Good place for families , some long queues and some rude queue jumpers , but a good day out. Rollercoasters not hugely thrillseeking , but good m me the less. Good range of refreshments. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff

I've been here many times with family and friends and we've always had a great time. You will need to spend money though, so if money is tight book online before you go to get cheaper entry and bring food with you if you want to cut costs. I would recommend buying a few "Fast Track" tickets though for the very popular rides, otherwise you will end up queuing for hours on end and only experience a couple off rides!

Arrived 10.15 in the morning, already busy. Thought we were in for a day of long queues and grumpy child. Yes, it was busy but queues at most 40 mins (except popular Vampire and Kobra) , some had much less time of 5-10mins so evened it out. Did far more rides than we thought. Greatly exceeded expectation considering it is summer hols. Short queues at kiosk for icecream and fries. Sealife centre got bit cramped at 5pm as everyone had same idea of going at the end. Felt claustrophobic. Getting out was fine at 6pm. Again, worried we'd be snarled up in traffic, but out in few minutes.
