Chessington World of Adventure is actually a conglomeration of different worlds parked into this strategically located arena in beautiful Surrey.
A trip to this awesome place will definitely guarantee you a return back as there are much more goodies to be covered just in a single visit.
It remains one of the very best arena to see distinct exotic animals from around the globe!

Been a few times with the family. It's great place to go, even if you're not a fan of the scary rides. Only thing I would say is, the staff at the concession stands could be a little happier and the service could be a little better at them too. But, if you bring your own food and drink, you'll save a fortune and bypass the only negative about the place. All in all, a great place to visit for a family day out.

Had a really, really great day. Helped by the weather, but managed to get on all the rides we wanted too and max queue time was only around 45mins. There were plenty of places to eat and drink and wasn't overly busy.

First time at chessington and last very disappointed with the whole day there was no social distancing in queues for rides
The rides are very out dates and rickety as we were queuing for the vampire ride there was something fell like metal from the track and as I stood watching the dragon fury the whole track was swaying also there was not extendable belts to accommodate the larger person as I saw someone get turned away as the belt wasn't long enough would not recomend as a good day out

5 stars for all the fun had by us. Now, SPEND SOME MONEY ON THE PLACE, your little bus ride for example is Rusty as anything just paint the thing. Other than that it's still an amazing place to come

Giving up with our Merlin annual passes. Even with a supposedly limited capacity of 5000 people the park was heaving. Just did not feel safe with the current climate. We stayed for 3 hours and left. Feels like Merlin are putting profits over safety currently

50 each adult, but a memorable day out, for me the best parts were the animal enclosures. Was disappointed with the zufari, should of been twice as long and vehicles actually stopping near the animals. Quite a lot of the rides look tired and in need of a paint. Park very clean and food middle of the road price wise, I brought a packed lunch, surely if prices were cheaper they would sell more food.

The tiger enclosure which spans the park is pretty amazing, very unique.

Favourite bit was the larikeets.

Lovely place for people of all ages. Some rides are quite exciting and others are purely for kids and toddlers. Adding the animal experience is a bonus as kids get to see tigers and lions up close.

Chessington is usually a decent place to visit with family however on this occasion they seem to be confused with the guidelines of social distancing and most the rides kept having issues. I would avoid during this whole pandemic not worth the price of entry and waiting around for rides

Queue times are terrible, even for the small rides. The constant pauses in queuing to "enhanced clean" results in the fast track customers backing up and blocking the normal punters so do not bother going without getting a fast pass!

Really had a great visit and are now annual pass holders. Good variety of rides although not heavy in big thrill rides. The food exceeded expectations and majority of the staff were more than friendly. All in all a lovely visit and I look forwards to returning soon.

Loved it especially as I went with friends. However, it kept raining hard drizzles and it was cold. The lines were decent as there were not many people. The food is overpriced but they allow you to bring your own food in.

The day at Chessington is as eventful and fun packed as it can possibly be. Many beautifully laid out parks and animals on exhibit. The variety of attractions and rides that range from hair raising to pleasant combine for reason to return. Fabulous.

Pretty decent place but got made to wait at the kiosk for 30 minutes waiting for my tickets cause it was booked on the old system far too many rude and arrogant people there, gruffalo was fantastic the show and the ride but for me you have to pay an awful lot for things once inside, it's a fun place but the only real thing you can do with younger children is the gruffalo everything else is has to be a certain height.

Stayed here as Epsom hotels were running full. Was probably the only biz traveler in the hotel, which was teeming with families and kids on holiday. No complaints, room was bare but comfortable, food at the restaurant palatable. Staff were friendly and cheerful. Caught glimpses of giraffes, zebras and ostriches on the campus, a bit of African outback in the middle of England. Unique, very unique.

1) Quencher vouchers paid for upfront but not honoured, awaiting reimbursement.

2) Some major rides such as Dragon Fury and Rameses Revenge temporarily closed for maintenance.

3) Some toilets closed.

4) Drinks served with prepaid meal voucher not refrigerated.

5) One staff member said I would be reimbursed for quencher vouchers whilst another said I would not.

I have visited Chessington World of Adventures on numerous occasions. I was brought up in Chessington and used to visited when the site was a zoo and a fun fair. Its now a fully fledged Theme Park. With numerous rides and attractions. There are loads of food outlets here, but these are expenses. There is loads of parking and overflow carparks in the Summer. There are Hotels there, which i haven't used. Best to go mid week to avoid the queues and crowds.

Great place but few issues. Firstly my son has disability and gets a ride access pass. But you still have to wait outside to get the tickets in long queue as we get career discount plus you need to take the dla notice everytime as they need to see it. They should have a separate queue for disabled people. Also everytime you need a ride access pass for again there is a queue. They should make an app for that.

Great place for fun kids loves going there good quite expensive but you can always take your own and have a picnic at the picnic area great place. The only thing that always dissapoint us is that we own an electric car and there is always petrol cars parked at the electric bay parking which is not fair at all we were unable to charge the car if we were to park at disabled or any another assigned parking we will get fined for it so why allow normal cars to park at the electric place it did spoil our day at some point knowing that we had to make another stop somewhere to charge. While we could off charged while we having fun. They do need to do something about that really.

One day wouldn't have been enough to fit in all the rides and the animals etc.
Really good experience there this weekend with our 5 and 9 year olds, only 1 ride they weren't tall enough for. So much to see and do.
Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic! Great day out! My son lives with ASD and GDD. We bought the priority parking which put you right outside the main entrance. Merlin pass where used so no queue. It would be advisable to apply online for this and get a case number sorted and get to park as early as possible, the line for guests services is long wait for the Rapid Access Pass which allows us to enter through the disabled gate system. Staff are friendly and Anna on the front gate was fab to my son. Thanks

Great day out for families and younger kids zoo is intertwined with the theme park so every turn has something different. Has different themes in each area of the park. Great care has been taken to ensure social distance is followed and staff are very helpful when needed. Animals in chessington are well looked after and living spaces for the animals are some of the best I've seen.

We had a wonderful day out here we did pre book in advance and it was so worth it. The que's for rides wasn't to bad. Parking was free. A really enjoyable day and there's so much fun to be had

Had a great day out at Chessington. Took our 8 and 6 year old daughters and they had a fantastic time. There were only a couple of rides they couldn't do due to height restrictions. We ate in the burger place near the vampire ride which was reasonable and the food was OK, even catered for vegetarians.

Took my wife and son recently for his birthday, stayed overnight in one of the hotels. Came back with a lovely dose of food poisoning (Campylobacter) been off work for weeks. Emailed Chessington to let them know, didn't even get a response. Charming, terrifying how a business of that magnitude that services such a high volume of customers can't even get the basics right. Best advice, avoid like the plague unless you fancy a couple of weeks stuck on the toilet!

Loads to do for all ages, somethings have changed but nothing major. The rides are fun and today wait times were quite good. We are staying at the hotel and the rooms are very good but the beds are a bit hard but apart from that I can More

I have annual Merlin pass, thus have visited here many times for last two years. Attractions have been remained with small renovation or upgrade, I always have fun with my family. It is really worth buying annual pass rather than one time entrance payment which looks very expensive.

Lovely day out for both friends and families. Very clean and regular ride pauses throughout the day to deep clean rides. Can recommend highly, but do take your own water bottles filled up as there are no filling up points currently. Food places are limited, so take your own sandwiches where possible.

Access for disabled guests is an utter joke, went with two disabled friends. There is no information given about disabled access, just here's tour card now go fend for your self! There is inadequate signage to indicate disabled ride entrance and staff we asked did not have a clue. We had to support our wheelchair using friend over steps/ on steep slopes etc just for her to use some rides. I will be complaining officially once I have calmed down! The children enjoyed a couple of rides and the sealife was fab, which is why I've given 2 stars.

Had great fun on most of the rides. Great family place. Word of warning for bigger folks: they will kick you off of the rides for being big. I'm a size 20 with a big chest and I got kicked off a ride for 'my chest being too big'. Otherwise ok.

We really had a great time.

We really had a great time.
The parking is decent and cheap.
There is a zoo and aquarium, which most kids love and find really interesting . There are a lot of shows and story telling which is great for different age ranges.

The price for the park it self online , if you get it online is worth it , or like 2 for 1 .
But paying full price is a bit much.
There are a lot of attractions for kids 0,9 -110cm . Of course accompanied by an adult .

But there Are rides between 120-130 . So if your child is below . Even with adult it won t get in so you have to pay attention to the signs by the rides

There are planty or claw machines and win places.

There is a cash point by the Guaffalo ride / place
But overall we enjoyed chessington park way more then Legoland . For the same price and it was much more worth it . So recommend .

Winter zoo days are cheap and decent fun as long as weather isn't nasty. Not very busy, plenty to see during the opening hours of 10-3. Food is expensive and of aversge quality but that's just theme parks in general .

Chessington was such a nice place to go when i was younger. Bubble works, Vampire, Tomb Blaster and Hocus Pocus Hall were always a highlight of my stay. As a kid i loved Bubbleworks. I visited Chessington recently since the refurbishments of Bubble works, Dragon Falls and Hocus Pocus and i am so upset and disappointed. They have truly destroyed their reputation. The Gruffulo and Room on the Broom were so bad. The only good thing was Tiger Rock which was actually a good change. Chessington has gone down hill, the only good thing now is the Zoo and did the ViP giraffe experience and fed the Giraffes which was great.

Kids loved the place, they never want to leave. The mixture of zoo and theme park really works. They have rides for almost all age groups. Food courts are good too! We have Merlin Pass which helps with the discounts . You may find the app useful. The Azteca hotel for those choosing to stay is excellent. The only disappointment is that the tigers seems to have gone missing from the land of tigers on our last visit. I m pretty sure they had them before adding tiger s picture from last year to the review.

We've been coming to Chessington as annual pass holders for the last two years, my 5 yr old loves it. Chessington have tried to set up the queues to ensure distancing but visitors are completely ignoring it. For the Gruffalo ride, the queue was the longest I've ever seen it and people were queuing up right on top of each other, ignoring the spacers on the paving. Chessington need staff policing the queues to make sure people distance themselves. At present it's an unsafe venue.

Great for the younger ones, best to be above 1.1m at least, only a few rides for grown ups and the zoo is very small but still good, queues not the worst I've seen plenty you can walk on. Glamping was great fun and facilities very clean, swimming pool in hotel is on small size and best to book to ensure you can get in.
