We didn't even get past the massive queue for the temperature check. No social Distancing, very few people wearing masks and they had 3x teenagers trying to manage a crowd of thousands. We just turned around and left.

Had such a great experience here, went with my Dad and Son, not been for years, we stayed at the resort as well. Had great views from our room overseeing the Safari. Would definitely recommend this place for young children.

Extremely disappointed the way every ride is organised....

Long Q Long Q everywhere toilets, food outets and ride

Time is money and delayed performance means customer gets disappointed...

We wanted to send only our kids so was the other family....we did not have any objection for the othee family to share the ride ( so was the other family)...but the staff were not ready to....we volunteered to help the people who are standing behind us....

I suggest the management team to go to Efteling in netherlands to see how the ride is organised...
Look at single rider option for better crowd management...
Before the ride arrives, they need to prepare the people in groups so they can board soon..
We could see this process working only in zafari and in scorpion ride....
Staff in Tomb blaster are so slow artificially increasing Q time....dont they have a performance indicator- no of rides per hour?

Food outlet
Captain fish was ok but takes 20 minutes to place an order and another 20 min to get the food...

The worst food outlet is dirty fries as the name suggest it is dirty and a rip off....
There is no healthy eating option anywhere junk junk junk junk ....

Is there a value for money?
If you manage to go on 5 rides-may be..
Tiger rock was closed in most of the time....which is one of the ride we planned to see.
The time displayed at the ride or in the app does not correspond...

After standing in the queue for hour we decided to enjoy the sunshine ...

If you want to enjoy peacefully go on a week when the schools are open...

Worthwhile going if you can get a deal on the entry price. Plenty of rides, suitable for all ages. Best to try and go when it's less busy otherwise you could spend your whole day queuing and still not see all the rides.

Great place for kids and a nightmare for parents!

Great place for kids and a nightmare for parents!
1) Navigation in the park is terrible. They have a useless app.
2) They have lots and lots of paid prize games and machines. Get ready to get robbed! Of course they don't force you to play, though it's literally everywhere and you can't pass every one of them.

No new rides in 10 years. Poor quality food. No policing of social distancing once queuing for a ride. Poor time management of rides. Only managed two "big" rides in 8 hours, this is three less than rival parks in the same time frame.

This review is based following trips to two rival amusement parks in the same week that were run much better and who enforced social distancing, especially within the queues.

CWOA need to spend a serious amount of money to make their "amusement" park better.

Amazing day out for my birthday! We will definitely be back :) The food was a bit overpriced and not really tasty but we have had a great day out regardless of that :) loved the goats! So cute!

Good place to visit and to go out with the family. If you want to do every ride here, id recommend you to stay for a night.

The rides are very good and they have a variety of rides for each age group! Definitely recommend you coming here on an inset day as it will be less busy.

The only thing which made me put 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the long queue times but I mean your going to get that every theme park you go to!

Overall, I recommend Chessington to a family or adults who want a good thrill!

It was my first time visiting Chessington and I had a great day out with my family. We stayed from open till close and were able to see and do all the things we had wanted to. Definitely a great place to visit with your family. Plenty of different things to do and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hotel was great, good room.
Food was awful both in the park and the hotel.
Poor choice, poor quality and poor service.

Went with my friend and had a brilliant time, but when I went with my dad we had a run-in with some incredibly rude staff, instead of asking me to go behind the line of the gate, they physically pushed me behind the line.

Really enjoyed the selective that this was as the rest of the Park and rides are not yet open for the season.do it was nice just to have a zoo day with the granddaughter...not crowded.. really interesting. But if anyone enjoys board gaming and escape rooms try Ransacked in Portland Road Worthing.

We had a good day out yesterday... lots to do, and enjoyed the Vampire... still a great ride after 25+ years. Animal talks were informative and interesting, and plenty for the kids to do. Wasn't impressed by the environmental efforts... plastic cutlery, bins not clear as to what can be recycled, the smokehouse was understaffed (but the foods was good) and areas closed 45 mins before closing time, which was a bit too soon... but other than that, a good day.

Had a great day out, using a discount. Log flume not open but loads of good rides. Longest queue was about 50 minutes for the vampire ride (but said 70 when we joined it). App is a waste of time. Took a picnic and ended up eating in the queue. 7-year-old (125cm tall) loved it and went on nearly everything.

Kids had a great time but as a whole I wish we hadn't gone. The venue is quite small so even with reduced numbers it was really busy and mask wearing is only recommended so most people didn't wear a mask around the park despite being near other people. Hand sanitizer are provided but we saw very few people use these. They are inconveniently positioned so people are rushing to get on/off the ride can't use them. People in lines are not respecting social distancing. It's was young people running the rides so they didn't enforce anything apart from one ride where they just kept saying please social distance and it had little impact.

Been back for our 5th visit and had a whale of a time! Fab selection of rides for all ages and good range of food options to! Staff are always friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this theme park enough! Loved it!

Great theme park for small kids. We spend one day looking at sea life and the other animal attractions and the second day on the rides. Its a good clean theme park and some more healthy eating options as well. Some good adult rides to squeeze in.

Whole park needs a spruce up. Everything looks old and dated. Good rides though and ok to bring kids for a day. Really have to up their ride access systems. Huge ques on everything. Photo collection is a joke. Understaffed and very poorly managed.

Great day out for the family. Only reason I give 4 stars is because security for your vehicles is an issue. I suggest being extra cautious when parking. If your car has an old cat then don't take it. It appears these are a target for hoodlums ruining your day.

Great day out for the whole family. Waiting times where shorter than shown on the rides. Our maximum Waiting time for the busiest ride was 35min. The only bad thing in my opinion was the pizza pasta buffet. Kids liked it but I thought it doesn't taste at all, but that might just be me. Overall, I will go back there

Had a great time with the kids.

Had a great time with the kids.
The only issue I found was the queuing for the toilets always seemed to be extremely long, they could do with more toilets.
The staff seemed friendly and helpful.
Thank you

Loved it, now, my little one is walking it will be much more fun this year. The queuing up takes a while, especially walking around to get to the attraction. It's like a maze but it's a good family day out.

Great for children over 1 meter tall for the theme park, any age for aquarium and zoo. The rides are good however the queues are ridiculously long! Expect to wait atleast an hour for most rides and you will have to stand for the whole queue time. The vampires burger kitchen serves brilliant burgers, albeit expensive. The fish and chips were average at best. Definitely good value for money with ticket prices, even at the gate entry prices. Worth spending two days here to make sure you don't miss anything

Lovely Christmas break at Chessington.

Lovely Christmas break at Chessington.
Shame some of the smaller rides are not open for the little ones. But we had fun in the pool/mini splash park. Zoo and sea life. Reasonably priced. Food a little expensive but that s what you get at these places.
Overall great family break

We stayed for one night in the Safari Hotel in a Zebra Room. It was a lovely stay and the room was fantastic. We had two days int he park and the kids had a great time. There was surprisingly lots of things for our youngest (1 year old) to do. The Gruffalo ride and Room on The Broom experience were a highlight.
