To be upfront, this should be a five star review as I was very happy with my experience BEFORE I took the vehicle onto the highway and within 5 minutes, my left fender flare piece flew off. <pictured>

I worked with Daniel Boardman where he helped me deal with an expensive AC compressor fix and even brought the price down - I am very happy with my experience and his help up to that point.

However, after leaving the lot post repair, I got onto the 101 north and before I even hit McDonald, something flew over my vehicle, I wasn't sure what it was until I stopped at work to see my left fender flare flew off on the highway.

This morning, I was offered that I could pay for the part and work to have it repaired - I walked out. To me, this seems very simple, my vehicle had an intact fender flare that was working correctly on the left side, post repair, it flew off on the highway I take every day to work.

Experienced their fantastic service, friendly staff, beautiful facility. Even though my Beemer needed a minor cosmetic fix, I was treated with top-notch service and respect. Mark Ostaszewski and his team were professional, thorough, and clean. The service here went above my expectations from once I walked in the door, to leaving in my washed Beemer. They kept me updated on completion as I waited, and sent me video of my vehicle's underneath inspection. Impressive, personable, complete. Five stars here!

I love the location because it's close to work so easy to stop by after work. The first few times were pretty straight forward and good visits, but today changed it all. They don't seem to have any loyalty to their customers. I bought a set of oil changes previously and knew I had one left. I go in to get the last one and apparently the expire. Now I should know this but maybe they should remind us when we are using them too. So it only expired 3 days ago. 3 days. Really you can't take care of me this time. I stand and wait 20 minutes while there are 4 of them talking and laughing in the managers office watching him work just to get a sorry but we will give you 15% off your oil change today. I already bought the oil change missed it by 3 days and I get what 2 dollars off. No way. And they have now lost me as a customer for life!

If I could give this dealership negative stars I would, but the lowest grade is 1 star. BUYER BEWARE!!
We received full funding from our own bank and went to Chapman Jeep on McDowell to purchase a new Jeep Wrangler unlimited.
When we got there, we had the price in hand printed out from the online inventory, and the salesman came back to us from the sales manager's office and stated that they "locked in" the pricing.

The sales manager came back out after we were presented with a price that was significantly higher than what we were told and agreed to by the salesman per his conversation with his Sales Manager. What happened next can best be explained as one of the most condescending instances of arrogance we have ever witnessed.

The sales manager explained that we had no business getting the "best deal in town" on a Jeep and that he was basically doing us a favor, even at a 3K higher total price than what was agreed to initially. I then questioned the additional charges and he said that the widow tint was extraordinary along with the entire package. I responded with, "is the tint on the vehicle currently", and he said no. I then asked that the package be removed and he sent his 20+ year old salesman, who was having a tough day as it is with this dealership management team, to inform me that there was going to be no deal. The sales manager also said that because MOAB, their largest fleet customer, why should we get a better deal.

I certainly hope that at the very least that this Jeep dealership starts representing their place in the community as a value to folks instead of a fleecing stain on legitimate dealers that work hard and provide good customer service without commuting fraud like we witnessed yesterday at Chapman Jeep. Also they were very proud that they are moving to the new Auto Show location by the 101 in Scottsdale, buyer please beware of these crooks and read everything they put in front of you, as there is a greater chance that they will be committing fraud than not. Shame on the Chapman's for allowing this behavior to be what their legacy is starting to look like.

Easiest most straight forward car buying experience ever! I first dealt with Frank at Chapman Jeep via email. Then discussed my needs and wants for a new Jeep via phone. Frank was very honest and friendly. He listened to my needs and concerns and genuinely took them to heart. Within a few hours he had put together an email with links to 3 vehicles that fit my list of requirements for what I was looking for. He gave me a hassle free out the door price, while breaking down the purchase amount, tax, title and license etc. Once I was happy with the price, numbers, and selected the vehicle I was interested in, I then went into the dealership. I was greeted by Richard (Frank had the day off). The paper work and details were prepared and ready when I arrived. We took the Jeep on a test drive and then finished the buying process. While I was finishing all the paperwork and payments with Nick (the finance manager), the Jeep was being detailed and prepped for delivery. They were very aware and respectful of my time and did everything in a very timely manner. Nick was fabulous as well. He too was very honest and straight forward. All the numbers I had be quoted were honored. There were no hidden charges or fees. Once the paper work was all signed and complete the Jeep was completed being detailed. The gas tank was filled up upon delivery. Richard then walked me through the entire vehicle, showing me where everything was located, what buttons were for what, as well as setting up my phone with the Connect system etc. He made sure that all my questions were answered. As if that wasn't enough, Richard and another employee drove my Jeep home for me (since I had a vehicle at the dealership). That was a nice surprise that I didn't have to return later that night or the next day with a ride in order to pick up my new car. Overall, everyone was amazing. Very friendly and honest and easy to work with. I really felt I was valued as a customer. I would recommend Chapman Dodge.. Jeep...(in Scottsdale) to anyone looking at purchasing a new vehicle. It truly was a painless, stress free experience. Who actually says they enjoy the hassle of buying a car?? Well, I can honestly say, there was no hassle. It was very enjoyable! Thank you again to Frank, Richard, Nick and the rest of the team at Chapman Jeep!!

Me, a Tennessee Jeep owner broke down on the road in Tennessee, no restart, no security code etc. My local dealers all closed so I have the bright idea to call a different time zone. Service mgr. Dan Boardman spent time above and beyond long distance to help us work out our issue. I can t say enough about the kindness extended to a car owner who will probably never set foot in the place. We have been having the 2007 Magnum serviced there since we bought it . Ran into a bit of a problem when we took the magnum to another shop in mesa because it was less expensive. and eneded up having to have the work done again and the tires replaced . upon bringing it back our service advisor and the team took great care us.
I'll never stray away from the service department again.

I worked with John Leidigh at the Mcdowell location. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, and had a limited budget. I had previously visited another dealership that was VERY high-pressure and employed bait-and-switch tactics, so I was already very frustrated when I arrived at Chapman. John spent about a week working with me very patiently. He taught me a lot about the cars on the lot and the car buying process. Everyone should work with him! Unfortunately, they did not have the model I finally decided on, so I had to go to another dealership.

I got a great car from this place in 2012 however this dealership practices yo-yo financing. I didn't write a review back then because i didn't know there was a name for what happened to me. I left with a car and two weeks later (when they knew i got paid) they called back saying they needed money down or i would have to return the car so i paid the extra money because at the time i didn't feel like i had options but I'm older and wiser now.....

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to my sales guy Jordan Colwell. He was very kind and patient with me deciding my next car as I was trading in my dodge challenger for something with more room. I was grateful he was very knowlegable with the financing and numbers part that he helped me get the best deal possible having negative equity on my previous car. He did everything possible to make me comfortable with my purchase as I spent about 5 hrs trying to decide what car i felt fit me financially.. My experience with the service center was fantastic. I had previously taking my vehicle to Airpark (where we purchased the vehicle and is closer to my home) but after having my vehicle there for an entire day, they said they "could not yet determine the cause of the issue" and wanted to keep it for another day. My suspicion is that they never actually even looked at the car. I got my car back and set an appointment at Chapman with Dave Colwell. He kept us updated and the issue was fixed (for less $ than I expected) in under a day. Definitely will take my vehicles there from now on - and look to purchase my next one there as well.

Before I went to work I scheduled an appointment with the service department because my engine light was on and my car had noticeable kickbacks and realized a few hours later that I couldn t make it to the time I chose. I used their chat service online and was told I would get a call from the service department to fix it. I got off of work about 3pm and I didn t get a call, so I decided to go to the dealership and figure things out. I drove up and when it was my turn I explained to Blaine what had happened and right away he said he could take in my car so they could take a look at it! He showed me where the lobby was and told me about the refreshments ( I was dying for some coffee so it was perfect) and told me as soon as he knew what was going on with my car he d let me know. It was about half an hour or so when he came back and told me what they d found told me they need to keep it overnight to find out why it s happening. He had someone drive me home and the next day it was fixed and ready to go by noon! Overall great experience, and so glad it was fixed quickly. Will be going to them for any future repairs and routine maintenance. Thank you!!

I had a very good experience working with Travis in the service department. I bought a used truck there and was disappointed when the air-conditioning went out the first time I tried to use it for an extended period of time. They replaced the compressor with no hassle, but it stopped working again a couple weeks later. I took it back and they kept it for a while to try to figure out what was going on. Just got it back today so we'll see. Travis took good care of me and kept me informed of what was going on.

I ve taken my vehicle here for the last time. I left my vehicle here overnight to get it detailed. After not hearing from my service advisor, Scott, I called in around 2 and was told that it wouldn t be ready that day because they hadn t even started on it yet. I wasn t happy about that but I didn t really have a choice. The next day I hear back from a different advisor around noon. He tells me my vehicle is ready so I go down there to pick it up. It was definitely not detailed and if it was then Chapman has the worst detail service around. I paid $120 for a car wash basically, and not a good one. I ve given these guys my business for the last time. I should have stuck with Ford. Their service was always great.

Brought my 2017 Dodge Journey in for repairs last week and the service advisor took forever to have a mechanic look at my car. After the mechanic looked at my car they changed me a total of $2,800.00 for repairs that was not repaired properly. Towed my car back to the dealership on Saturday and this dealership better repair the vehicle for free of service for the hassle of me renting a car for now 3 weeks and they don t know we are still dealing with a pandemic with Covid 19 everyone is out of a job and no income coming in. I don t recommend this dealership for service to anyone unless if you want to be stranded on the freeway after they fix your vehicle.

I had the pleasure of having Tyler Virgin help me with my car buying experience. Tyler was very knowledgeable and helped get the exact deal I wanted. Finance had a few pushbacks, but he kept going back until I got my deal. I would highly recommend going into this dealership and asking for Tyler. Please also remember that it isn t the car salesman that aren t giving you the deal you want, it s the finance department. The salesman want to make a deal, but they are at the will of what finance comes back with.

Tire rotation price was right, service adviser was very nice. Only issue I have is the tire pressures were not corrected. I would have driven around on severely under-inflated front tires had I not checked the tire pressures. I corrected this at home when I noticed.

Excellent transaction, shopped around for almost 2 weeks at various dealers for a new 2018 Jeep Renegade as there are plenty in the valley heavily discounted with rebates and dealer discounts to get these off the lots as they are last years model. Chapman killed it!!! Best deal and customer service!! Worked out the deal via email, phone and text, went in and only minor adjustments needed to get the deal done. Johann was a personable young man, highly recommend, dealing with Patrick via email was a breeze, and dealing with Gregory to get all paperwork done was excellent! Highly recommend this dealership if your looking for a Mopar based product!!!!

I brought my 2015 T&C in for service, what a refreshing change. Arriving ten minutes before they open I noticed a service advisor was already working writing service tickets. When Dan Boardman got to me he told me straight that if they had the part it would take two hours. He was right on. It's nice to work with someone who will be honest and tell you like it is. Even though this is a further drive for me, I will definitely make the trip for service like this.

Terrible service. I pulled up to the service center and it took someone 15min to even acknowledge that I was even there. I spoke to Be on the phone and scheduled an appointment. Then called later speaking to Dan for a quote of $450 (Be wasn't available) Get there for secluded work and get charged $480 plus shop fees and waste fees adding up to $535. When asked about this Be had no answer. I continued to call the week after and still waiting on a response. STILL NO PHONE CALL BACK 2 WEEKS LATER!

Update: Called and spoke with Wyatt. He apologized for the terrible service. It was a nice chat. He asked what they could do to resolve the problem of me wasting my time, then failing to complete an oil change correctly and fix a problem correctly the first time. I stated a couple minor service things could be done, including them changing my oil for free (which should be done no matter what). He said it shouldn t be a problem. I get a call the next day, they can t do any of the service stuff, but they will do a special oil flush and fill . Come to find out, they put a cheap $5 bottle of something in my oil. Run the engine, then do a standard flush and fill. I called and requested a truck as the rental vehicle (because I have/need my truck). I m told they can t request vehicles. So I call Enterprise myself and wouldn t you know it. I CAN request a truck. Needless to say. They re cheap, lazy and even when they acknowledge their mistakes, they do the bare minimum to fix them.

Very disappointed in the service I received here. Initially took my truck in for a wind noise repair that was covered under warranty. I was told to bring it in before 5. I leave work early to get there at 4:30 and there was back and forth on not taking my truck because it s too late, they can t accept vehicles past 3:30. Finally they took it. Call me 3 days later and say they took it for 3 test drives and the noise is gone. Jump in my truck, wind noise wasn t gone at all. Checked my Allstate DriveWise, only one test drive was taken. Well after I do my own research and talk to a few more people, I find the issue. Take it back and ask them to fix the problem and do an oil change (since I had free ones). 3 days later I get my truck back, noise is gone. Oil life percent is at 30%. They promised they changed the oil. Then a few weeks or so later, my truck is pouring oil onto my driveway. The filter is loose! I spend my own time and money replacing the filter and adding oil. I send multiple emails to Lee, he tells me I ll get a credit and he will call me to resolve the issue. He never called. Never emailed. I never received a credit. Nothing. I am highly disappointed, their techs can t even do a simple oil change correctly, management can t follow through. It s pathetic. I advise customers go elsewhere. There are several other dealerships close by.

Especially being a woman searching for a car, I was worried I would be ripped off; however, Blake was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable when looking for a car. Purchased a used Ram 2500 diesel from Erik Knox and not only was it the fastest vehicle buying experience it was the best I've had to date. Erik knew we were coming up from the Tucson area and took the initiative to have the truck detailed prior to our arrival. From the time we showed up to the time we drive off with our new (to us) truck was a little under 2 hours. Erik was not only professional but friendly and knowledgeable as well, and I'll be recommending this place to everyone in the market for a vehicle.

Jordan, service advisor is the best service advisor there hands down. I ll keep coming back there because he was so professional, courteous, and friendly! He even walked me out to my truck instead of tossing me the keys and pointing at it from the bay lol. I ve worked at a dealership and this guy deserves more than $25/hour because if he doesn t get paid that, I ll gladly recruit him to a job in the mortgage industry that pays at least that.

He made sure that I was getting the best car worth the price I was willing to pay. Never once did I feel like he pressured me into my car. I love my fusion and I am so glad that Blake helped me find this gem. Everyone there are very friendly and helpful. James in service is fantastic at dealing with even the craziest (i.e. me) . He never rude which is nice because I know that I can sounds or come off as crass he was always professional and never rude. Brian in financing was very helpful explaining all of the details of my loan and payments making it easy to understand what I have for coverage . I will be making all my future car purchases here for sure.

Sales Rep Ken went way out of his way to get the truck I wanted. He drove to Flagstaff after the New Year's snow storm to pick it up to meet the rebate/deals that expired that day. I can't say enough about have far beyond the other deals in the Phoenix area Chapman went. Avoid Bill Luke, and their Internet Sales person Katherine. Never even tried to get the truck and deal I was looking for. Then rudely snipped at my wife on a call, when my wife explained I was doing a deal with Chapman. BTW, she was visiting her dying mother in hospice. Way to go Katherine. We'll never by from Bill Luke and tell everyone to avoid them like the plague.

Our 1st service on our new Dodge Ram. Darrell was our service adviser, he was very nice & helpful. CHAPMAN paid for a Lyft to pick us up, took us to a restauant 10 miles from the dealership. We called Darrell when we were done he sent another Lyft to pick us up and took us back to the dealership. Class act all the way.

I emailed them and tried chatting with their rep online, then another rep emailed me. total of three reps!!!! all talking about the same car and ALL giving me different prices!!!! one asked for $35 for registration of the car I was asking for. the second quoted me $677 (yup, ~2000% more) but wait! it gets better, the third guy quoted me FOR REGISTRATION ONLY $897 (2562% more). just for the record, registration in the DMV in AZ is $9.
They gave me no option to opt out of their dealer accessories $1970!!! yea, one was a cup holder protector for $299, cant even make this up.
Will never do business with these guys, and neither should you!

Can't say enough positive about my experience here at Chapman Jeep.. Have worked with Patrick the sales manager previously, but didn't strike a deal due to just being indecisive on the car I wanted.. Long story short, stopped in last night to help a very good friend of mine look at Grand Cherokee's.. Patrick was an absolute class act being completely transparent during the whole process, and really kept us looped in on all of the numbers.. I've had some pretty disappointing car dealer experiences recently, but coming here gives me hope that good car dealers still exist.. I also come from a brief stint in the business, so my perspective on this should speak volumes.. Great job Pat, we will surely come get this Grand Cherokee from you the moment my buddy is ready..

This oil change and tire rotation went as smooth as those we experienced in the past. The greeter very promptly in-processed the RAM 1500 and it was on a rack within minutes. The Service Manager stopped to ask how the visit was going; exceptionally nice touch. The truck returned the day before the oil change from a trip to the Midwest and it displayed the dirt collected from 5 states. The Chapman personnel took note of that quality and offered to wash the cargo hauler. It is very, very difficult in today's society to find service of this high caliber!
