My wife and I have been customers of Capital Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat for the past 10+ years. We have purchased 6 vehicles and always brought them to Capital Dodge for all our service needs. Our sales person Andreanne Budd has always been there to ensure we were treated like customers and not simply a means to increase the companies profit margin. I have spoken to other customers and they all feel that the sales and service staff are professional and caring when working with a customer. We look forward to continuing our relationship with this dealer for many years to come

I am trying to get into a new truck I don't have good credit so I think that is why I have not received a call or an email back from the rep but if they want to make a sale I think they should call me back i am trying to trade in my truck with no luck at all no call backs no emails back tried calling 10 times and the guy is always busy leave messages and no call backs I even asked to switch reps and I am not able too not very happy with capital dodge right now

Hit and miss..

Hit and miss..

With my Fiat 124 Spider horrible experience. The service department doesn't know much about the car, replacing a light bulb took 3 visits, and replacing the catalytic converter under warranty took 5 visits and 10 days without the car on the last visit. They also lied about their capabilities, and were unable to reprogram the Blind Spot Monitor sensor, for which I have to try my luck in Montreal.

On the Jeep side of things, I had a good experience with Johnny for my used Wrangler. Mopar parts are also reasonably priced.

I was extremely pleased with the service at Capital Dodge. I had been looking for a used luxury car, and John B. found me a Mercedes Benz with extremely low mileage, and in fantastic condition. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great deal!

I purchased a Fiat 500X in May 2018 at the Kanata ...

I purchased a Fiat 500X in May 2018 at the Kanata location. Adreanne Budd, my sales lady quick and eager to find me the perfect car. Once the deal was made, my experience was nothing but a disappointment. She was not understanding, my needs were never met.
She treated me like I was a problem and
and I felt as though I was being taken advantage of. I was charged $1399 + tax for Winter Tires-Michelin X ice, this was the deal she made me when I purchased my car. I would have been happy with this deal if I got what I thought I paid for. I wanted mag wheels for the winter and I thought I paid more than enough for this. To my surprise I was given black standard rims. When I called Adreanne Budd to voice my opinion about this and explained why I was so unhappy she hung up the phone on me and refused to listen to what I had to say.
I spoke to two different managers
(Kyle and Jon) about this incident and got no where. Nothing was done, no apology on behalf of Adreanne Budd was voiced. I was felt as though they were all backing each other up and my complaint meant nothing.

In the end I was was overcharged for winter tires!!! As per the manager Jon, if I wanted Mag Wheels I would have to pay another $700 + tax and they would absorb the cost of the labour work only. It would be up to me the customer to sell the black cheap rims on kijiji.
I say cheap because this is what the manager said..cheap, they are about $20 a rim.
They did not want to absorb the cost for this!!
Do you get that? I don t!! I was told they ran $60-$100 a rim and now I m told $20 a rim!!
Regardless, I was still willing to pay them another $500 if they would have absorbed the cost of these rims I was given. Since I felt the mistake was Adreanne s, I only thought it was fair they would absorb this cost. Unfortunately, the conversation ended at sorry we are unable.
No help!!! No apology was ever made about the way I felt I was treated, nothing.

In the 20 years, I always purchased my cars from VOLKS WAGON HUNT CLUB.
In all those years I was always treated with such royalty. I really miss that kind of service and I miss the people.
I wish they sold Fiats cause I would have stayed put. I may just go back to them in the future because you really don t know what you have until it s gone!

Worst Experience with a Business ever! I wish I read all these customer reviews before I brought my car here. Everything these people are saying is right. DO NOT GO HERE!

Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge provided me with the worst experience with a business, and I mean with any business ever, not just a dealership. From start to finish - my experience was a complete nightmare.

I brought my Fiat into the dealership for a "peace of mind" service. I specifically told Dana my service advisor SEVERAL times that I did not want my tires to be taken away that I would like them returned to me. They were very expensive. I was very clear about this.

Upon my return, Dana informed me that they had taken my tires (without my permission) and disposed of them. They told me I would be charged for this "service". I told Dana I did not want that service and asked several times. Taking something without someone's permission - is stealing. Trying to charge them for your theft is completely outrageous. When I expressed my upset and asked for the tires back, Dana told me that he didn't know where they were and that I was welcome to go into the garage and look for the tires myself.

Does this dealership think that it is OKAY..
1) Take and dispose of tires from customers car without their permission
2) Take zero responsibility for their lack of organization with requests and services
3) Charge customers for services they did not ask for or want
4) Suggest paying customers to "search" for their property in the companies garage

YES! THEY THINK THAT IS ETHICAL! Zero apology and zero errors fixed.

If that wasn't enough - no service was even provided. My check engine light went on within hours of picking up my car from them. I was supposed to drive back to Toronto and I had to then return to this horrible dealership in hopes of having it fixed. They didn't apologize for their mistake. They were NEVER supposed to touch my engine so there was no reason for that light to go on after their "service". They said they filled the windshield wiper fluid - they did not.

Once I picked up my car for the second time, I asked to speak to Dana's manager, Kyle. He told me that what I told him did not "sound like Dana" and that he must of been having an "off day". In other words, Kyle suggested that I be sympathetic of Dana's attitude towards me. I asked what he intended to do to rectify the error his company made by taking my tires without my permission, and he said that he intended to do nothing. That I was to pay the fee for the service, and that was that.

I've reached out to Kyle via the telephone and left a message. I send the company an email. I am patiently waiting to hear back. It is not a debate - my tires are to be returned to me or I am to be refunded. In terms of the terrible "service", I received - all I can do is never return to this dealership and advise everyone to avoid them.

Do NOT go here if you want reliable trustworthy service.

The people are nice but bought a 2012 journey crew, has a few problems like the Bluetooth and the cruise control, it only been. A Month and the Bluetooth didn't work at all, its 500 dollars to fix and they won't fix it at no cost, the best they can do is 400 dollars, went there two weeks ago and again the weekend that just past, they told me we are know different then buying a car off Joe blow, and if there was a problem then the other owner should of got it fix, not them, so now I have a vehicle with no cruise control and Bluetooth, so I guess I should ofmade sure on a used vehicle to make sure everything is working before you sign on the dotted line, or maybe not buy a vehicle from them because they are not a dealer but Joe blow selling used vehicle. Thank you Capital Dodge for letting me know not to do business again with you, very sad love the journey

I was recently looking for a pick up truck to purchase to accommodate a new member of the family (arriving early November :)).

From the moment of introduction, Michael LeBlanc was very welcoming and open. Michael answered all of my questions and didn't hesitate when I wanted to take a truck for a spin.

I decided on a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport that was a demo. The truck was flawless!

The only issue that came up was that the holes for my license plate holder were drilled in the wrong spot. When I came to pick the vehicle up, Michael was very quick to show me this, and he assured me that it would be repaired without question or extra cost.

I am extremely happy with my purchase and with how easy the process was. I highly recommend going to see Michael if you're looking to purchase a Dodge.

This dealership is very shady! Before you pay them money for your car, everything is a yes but then when it comes to warranty issues they come up with stories and they all tell you a different stories. Word of advice! Do not trust this dealership!!!

I ve have been a customer of Capital Dodge for more than 8 years. Ryan Rodney always goes above and beyond for all my vehicle service needs. He's extremely professional, friendly and courteous but most of all knowledgeable. I can call him at any time to ask a question and he is always helpful. Ryan also keeps me informed about what is happening with my vehicle and he has even SAVED ME MONEY which is almost unheard of with a dealership service department.
Recently, the A/C on my 2013 Caravan died. Normally this would be a warranty issue but we were over the 3 years or 60 000km so I assumed I was out of luck. Expecting a huge repair bill I contacted Capital Dodge and asked for Ryan with the hopes that there might be some way to reduce the cost of the repair.
I brought the van in to Capital Dodge Shop and after a carefully review diagnosing the problem, Ryan Rodney called me to inform me he had arranged for the solution to be covered by Dodge as a good will warranty offer and I will have to pay nothing!!!.
I can't thank Capital Dodge enough, and Ryan Rodney in particular (of course I want to include the mechanic team) for helping me out! I was very, very impressed with the professional service and the willingness to go beyond the call of duty! Certainly made my day!
Kudos to you Ryan and Team, for always being there for me!!!!

Horribly rude and dismissive sales staff. Last weekend I was vehicle shopping with my wife and children and we stopped in at Capital Dodge. We saw a truck near the front that interested us, and got out of our car for a closer look. The salesperson Steve approached us, and we asked him if we could look inside and get pricing information. He said he would, but we had to move our car to the other side of the lot from where we had parked first. I said my kids were asleep in the back, and asked if I could just move it into an open spot beside the truck instead to keep them close. He rudely responded " no, you cant because of insurance". I was a little stunned and said I guess we'll have to go elsewhere then. His uncouth attitude and "whatever" response as he turned and walked away was unprofessional, and completely uncalled for. Enough for me to never want to return and buy from Capital Dodge.

I dropped my wife's vehicle off just prior to my appointment Thursday morning. The service I received from Ryan was great. The issue is, that 24 hours later, I still did not receive a call that my vehicle was ready. I called them this morning to see if it was ready to be picked up. I gave them my name and the type of vehicle. I was put on hold while the service advisor went to check on my vehicle. When she got back to me, she informed me that they lost the paperwork for my vehicle and it has not been looked at. We followed up with a call with the service manager to see when it would go in to the shop. He said that he was not sure when or even if it would go in today, and if we needed it back, to come pick it up. We mentioned that our appointment was for yesterday and that we insist it take priority over the other appointments that were booked afterwards. All we kept hearing was sorry and that he would call us when or if it gets in.

Worst dealer on earth and here is why, came in for warranty work on a 2 years old caravan with less than 28000km for falling plastic side panels and rust work, although the car had full warranty, extended warranty, life time full rust proof warranty, life time paint warranty, life time fabric warranty etc.. ; still somehow got rejected for everything stating its wear and tear, and I advised the clerk on how can you reject me without even putting work order to the manufacturer, and his answer was because we know.
And ya they wanted to charge me 500$ just for two plastic panels plus labor.
Auto magically took my van to dodge dealer on bank and Johnston and everything was covered under warranty. you should try those guys what a service.

Again this is the worst place please stay away from them.

We recently bought the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk from Capital Dodge. Our sales person Chris MacCuaig was extremely helpful in finding us the right upgrade from the Cherokee north. We were able to test drive multiple vehicles and he helped us narrow down what was important to us and to get us a great price including all discounts. Pick up was a breeze, and Chris brought us around and introduced us to the Service team and Parts Department. We are very excited for the services they offer such a the express lane, for oil and tire rotations. If you are looking for a good price, then Capital Dodge is decent. If you are looking for astronomical parts and labour rates backed by a huge amount of incompetence and very limited product knowledge. Then it is unbeatable. Where else can you take a vehicle in for an oil change, get hosed for a $300 "4x4 service", and another $300 for an intake cleaning, and then get home and realise they didn't bother with the oil change. Like Charlie Brown kicking the foot ball, I kept going back, and like Lucy they screwed my over every single time. This place is an absolute scam factory, avoid it like the plague.

We just bought a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan on November 30th, 2012 from Capital Dodge, and I must admit I was a little skeptical about purchasing there. We had had some really bad service there a couple years back, and really did not want to give them our business. When we went to look at their inventory of vans we had no intentions of buying from there, that of course was before we met sales consultant Will Allen. Will was courteous and patient, we did not feel like "the wool was being pulled over our eyes". He got us what we wanted, within our price range, which for a single income family of 5, is not easy. We walked away confident and satisfied with our purchase. I would definitely recommend HIS services to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. Thank you for your help Will! We will definitely be doing business again with you in the future!

On a side note, I was glad to find out that the service department is a separate entity from the sales. I would recommend the sales department 100%, I would NEVER recommend the service department. We will not be getting our van serviced at Capital Dodge.

We have been here for service or recalls on several occasions.

Constant up-selling. I mean it just does not stop. I DON T WANT AN OIL CHANGE. Stop asking.

If that is not enough, they can t seem to understand that there is a national do not call list,and when you tell them to stop calling, they don t stop.

They only see $$$ when you walk in, and forget that good customer service keeps people coming back.

The staff at Capital Dodge really go above and beyond to make sure their customers leave happy. They are trustworthy, dependable and really make you feel at ease. I often deal with Nick Hall , he is an excellent service advisor. I always feel comfortable going to him with all my questions and concerns, he's extremely knowledgable and explains everything in detail. I highly recommend this dealership because customer service is important to them . All in all always a great experience and I will definetley be continuing to service my Jeep here.

I recently purchased a used 2013 Dodge Journey at Capital Dodge. It was a great experience and we were very pleased with the service and the vehicle. We had a Journey in the past and decided after having another car that we wanted one again. We went back to this this dealership as they are excellent. We've dealt with other places and the staff here is top notch in comparison. Geoff Anderson was our salesperson and he was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He was a pleasure to interact with. I had one follow-up request a week after getting the car and he was very prompt and helpful in getting it addressed. Great job Geoff and Capital Dodge!!

Garbage dealership. Disclaimer- using fake name, I m sure the dealership will figure it out though. Purchased a vehicle with under 24 000km, from the moment I test drove it I knew I shouldn t have bought it. Had no coolant in it, seller insisted it was still under warranty (for the next year) and everything would be taken care of. Here I am adding coolant practically every time I fuel up. I called the seller and told him that there was also a klunking sound coming from under the Jeep on my way home. Again insist nothing is wrong. I brought the vehicle in to a different garage, (knowing I would pay out of pocket for something still under warranty) They had mentioned the tie rods were wearing unevenly, I called the dealership and spoke with the service department, they insisted they would have to run their own diagnostic and that there was going to be a fee if they felt that everything was fine. Also, this other garage found that there was an electrical outlet that had no power- due to a blown fuse!? On a somewhat positive note, I felt the least the dealership could do was give me new brakes because the rotors were grinding with the rust build up- when asked several times, after the headaches I was dealing with, they simply brushed the rust off. If you insist on buying Chrysler or Jeep, I suggest go elsewhere, ie Renfrew. Cheers

Such an amazing dealership to buy vehicles from! Bought 2 from Capital already and have had no issues, complaints or bad things to say. The staff are awesome, funny, down to earth and genuinely good people. Josh Ovington was my preferred salesman for both of my new vehicle purchases.He made the experience stress free, had a huge amount of knowledge about any vehicle in the lot and was always looking out for the customer! Too many good things to say about Josh to list! I can now say I have found my dealership of choice for a long time to come and when a new vehicle is needed in my household Capital Dodge will be the number one place to go!

I was looking for a used Hyundai Santa Fe and the local auto trader indicated that there was one located at Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge. When I showed up, Philip took me right to the vehicle. As it was not a 'Dodge', he did not have the history on the vehicle yet he did have all the details as to what was included with a purchase. Philip was not pushy. He listened to my requirements and ensured that any questions were answered. He promptly emailed me the Car Proof Report so that I could review it at home. Philip did not pressure me nor did he act in a condescending manner towards me. He was very respectful and professional. After purchasing the vehicle, Philip had the car prepared for me at my convenience. He toured me through the dealership so that I would know someone in service if I chose to get servicing done at Capital Dodge. I had a positive experience. I would recommend Philip to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Great place to service your car. Smart engineers and reasonably priced. Gave me hope to go back to dealer for service. After having a terrible experience with a dodge dealer in hunt club, i stayed away from dealers. But my car developed an issue what all the mechanics I visited thought to be a major issue even the BBB rated ones that i usually go. Car would vibrate heavily everytime accelerated. And no one could even identify the issue. They said it might cost a lot to fix. I gave a try to capital dodge, they identified the problem, fixed it and charged $300.
Since then i go there and they keep the car running smoothly. Even after a oil change, they do something that make the car run smoothly..

Not recommended for service. Shop either cannot schedule their work properly or just does not care about getting your vehicle back to you as they indicated. Booked service appointments had entire days (8+ hours) with my vehicle with literally zero work completed despite parts ordered ahead of time, with a follow up offer of 'getting to it early' the next day. Updates or changes not pushed, always have to call to inquire. Not workable for families, I will not be returning.

I've got to say the customer service here is quite poor. The sales reps to the finance manager seem disinterested and burdened to sell me my new car. It's regrettable they received the business but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for a new car. The general attitude here is unwelcoming and negative, won't get into the details further but I'd recommend checking out another Dodge dealer if you're looking for professionalism. 1 star, ordering my car felt like checking out at walmart with an annoyed cashier.

If you enjoy being up sold in the service department, and getting relentless telemarketing calls, do business here.

The service staff is constantly pushing for more services. And when they have a sale coming up the sales calls dozens of times, even if you have asked to be in the do not call list.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my car from Eddie ! He was very helpful in finding a car within my budget and in a very timely manor all my of my paperwork was completed . Capital dodge worked with me on fitting the car I wanted within my financing budget so I wouldn t have to compromise the vehicle I wanted . Eddie still checks in every time he sees me in capital dodge to see how I m liking my car .

We bought a van there a number of years ago and were not happy with the pressure tactics on the negotiation. It was really uncomfortable. Service dept was terrible for 3 years in a row so I just stopped going. I went back recently for a recall repair and the service was much better, it seemed, (although the shuttle service was rather unhelpful) so since I was looking to buy a new vehicle I went in to see if things had changed in the sales dept as well. Nope. Just as bad as before.

Got us the truck we wanted (All Black Ram) at a price that worked for us.

Dealing with Jon Buckley, Andrew Hartin, Robert Martin and Mike Skaff turned out to be a really good experience. We drove 12 hours altogether to get this truck (very difficult to find this specific truck) and they made it a smooth process. Really nice guys, good prices, a very good option to check out before you buy a Ram (or any vehicle I suppose).

Always dread going to a dealership for work. But it didn't hurt too much. They were honest with me and I was able to talk with the technician to help explain the issues. And they were also honest in saying they didn't know other things and that they change more parts than might be necessary but the cost of going back into fix another part is far more so best to just refresh everything. I appreciate the honesty. This is just my experience, yours may be different, hope for the best.

Very disappointed, had them switch out the pads on my truck. Called me later on in the day to tell me they snapped a bolt in the calliper trying to get it out. Ended up being another 250$ For parts and labour that THEY caused.

The past few times the service department seem very disorganized. They are always running behind and when you call to follow up with an issue with some of the work they have done they just seem annoyed. We also use kanata Mazda for our other car and we dont seem to have so many issues.

"Taken Advantage"

My wife attempted to find her dream car only to find a nightmare. She was told to put a deposit to hold her vehicle until I was able to get in town to put the rest of the down payment down and sign the paperwork for pickup, however they apparently had her sign a Bill of Sale without her knowledge when all she was supposed to be doing is putting a deposit down to hold the vehicle.

When questioned about this the Finance guy Tony stated, "I do not see or speak to anyone who isn't signing a Bill of Sale". Through this process he back dated documents to July 31st when I witnessed with my own eyes him sign one of the documents on Aug 10th when we picked up the vehicle.

Now after having the vehicle we have noticed that the vehicle was not detailed as there was food in between the seats and a mildew smell, there was LED's out in the back safety light and a broken driver side rocker panel. I am being told even though it is a safety issue that because the sales person (who quit by the way) did not make note of it that it is not their problem and they will not fix it.

Horrible experience and horrible dealership. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from them and recommend others stay away as they are every sense of the words, "USED CAR SALESMEN".

It took 6 visits to get my seat buckle and cup hol...

It took 6 visits to get my seat buckle and cup holder fixed. The first 3 visits were showing sales that the seat buckle was cracked. Visit 4 I had an appointment where parts basically said "yup it's busted, we have to order the part". Visit 5 I took the vehicle in to get fixed and the work order was closed and never worked on at all. Visit 6 the work was finally completed.

I'm happy with the quality of the repair but it took too many visits to actually get the work done.

I just picked up my brand new Dodge ram truck today. Andy and his team made it a hassle free environment. At no point was I pressured into getting into any sale. They were patient and found the right truck for me. They also went over the whole sale process and made sure that I left with all my questions answered. I have shopped around at other dealers, but none of them came close to the way that I was treated at Capital Dodge. I will be returning for my next truck. Thanks guys for the great experience.

To start off, if i could , i would not give a star. It would be ZERO or - infiniti. We lost 2+ hours of our life when we went there and then to be given the run around for almost a week. In us wanting to get our deposit back.
If the is what they are told to do to people by the head honcho's that's awesome!! Great business !! Plain and simple DON'T GO THERE !! Pretty sure you could get better deals else where and MUCH better service !!

P.S: google give us the ability to give - stars too. I would have for these guys !

They make promises they can't or have no intention of keeping, and offer nothing in exchange for the nightmare they put you through.

Although my experience at Capital Dodge started out rocky, I have Brent Smith to thank for going above and beyond to save me $4000 dollars. I have a 2013 Dodge Dart that has had a lengthy history of issues and recalls, and although it's out of warranty now, he and his service manager Kyle McColl, went to the "higher ups" when they realized that my car needed $4000 dollars worth of work. Their response was "do what it takes to make it right." They have restored my faith in them, and I have found a dealership I can trust.
