This is the BEST Toyota I have ever been to. They always took care of me and the service was on time and quick!
Three phone calls yesterday trying to get a hold of a service guy to find out about a prior repair and no return call......Copy paste generic management response below.
I went to look at a truck here and they neglected to tell me before I drove 300 miles down there that they had sold it. Then they found another truck that I liked and I could look at, but then they couldn't find it.
Easy to schedule service. Fast intake and work. Quality of work was excellent. Now..... if you folks could just fix that traffic on I-84!
Jade was over the top. She earned my confidence from the test drive thru the final signing. And blew me away on final price!
Toyota of Portland and Brian Lowe are amazing! I highly recommend them!
Bought a used Subaru there. It was a fine experience and the promised repairs were done promptly
My car didn't really need anything however to keep the warranty active one must go for these every 6 month checkups. Actually I don't mind going for the check ups as they might catch a problem I am not aware of. The 2 stars would have been one star except my service rep was just great. Big problem is that I brought in a coupon for the happy hour $19.95 check up and somewhere in the small print was the truth...the coupon is worthless because it only covers regular oil and my car came with artificial oil and I wouldn't be surprised if all new Toyotas came that way. So basically one star for a company that puts lies out as advertising.
Good prices and selection but as usual you get what you pay for. Some promises were made that weren t delivered. Some vagueness when it came to accessories. When we bought my wife s car at a different dealership, they spent about half an hour explaining all the features and setting up her phone/audio system... not here. Overall, not a bad place to buy a car from, but could be better.
On the positive side, they were the only dealer that truly gave me their lowest price right away, so I appreciated them not wasting my time.
Outstanding customer service from Roman and the team at Toyota of Portland. Roman responded fast to our online inquiry and continued helping us virtually and in person while providing great customer service throughout the process. We are happy with the vehicle and even happier with our experience. Thank you Roman!
Amazing people in both the service and sales department. Would highly recommend buying from here!
Kat helped us and literally blew us away with her amazing service. We felt so loved while at Toyota of Portland. Kat stayed with us the whole time to make sure we found the car we needed. She went above and beyond to help us get what we needed. The staff there in general was wonderful and we are so thankful to have walked into Toyota of Portland for our car. We will definitely be back when we need another car!
Overall good. I booked appointment on line and asked for a longer since it was a recall and 20,000 mile service.Did not have one for me and said they did not provide those. When I had a clear cover added to the car, they provided a car for me....just saying.
They dont wash your car like other Toyota dealers but do give you a car wash coupon.
Did text when complete and send a lyft.
Took our 2009 Toyota Corolla in for its quarterly oil change. Overall, we are always happy with the service and work. I have found that there can be a lack of communication between you and the service technician as sometimes the texting app doesn't work and calling them to inquire about the status of your car leads to an unanswered phone call. This can cause delays in getting your car back and the work being done as you play "phone tag" trying to get a hold of each other.
I do appreciate the early/late hours they are open during the week and being open on Saturdays makes for convenient times to make an appointment that fits with your schedule.
We have taken our Corolla here for years and would recommend it.
Excellent customer service, super efficient, everything went really smoothly and took half the time I expected for car maintenance
The service I received was excellent. I did not feel pressured to do anything more than the 80k service. Great experience. I will be taking my vehicle here exclusively from now on.
Great service and honest mechanics. I've been very pleased at the prompt service and attention to detail. They don't fix what doesn't need it and they give a thorough inspection for a very reasonable price. Never long wait times and they are pleasant to deal with.
Was lucky to have Angie again as service rep. As usual, everything was smooth and efficient. The text updates are great.
The service department runs like a well oiled machine! I was in and out so quickly both on bringing my car in and picking it up! I love that they provide Lyft service to drop you where you need to go and pick you up when the car is done!
My Toyota Highlander was scheduled for its 20,000 mile dealer checkup. The dealership took the car on time got the job done in a quick efficient professional manner. Waiting room was comfortable. Coffee was hot. All in all a pleasurable experience.
my sales person was great, she helped and was very patient with my son and I. Came here to buy my son a car. they will work with you to get to the price you want and not much of going back and forth negotiating.
Quick, friendly service.Always feel my car & I are well taken care of here.
All the people I worked with at Toyota on Broadway were simply amazing!! They eased my mind and anxiety!!! I love my new vehicle and will recommend to all my friends and family!!!
This is a great place to get your car fixed ! Isaiah is super nice too. Thanks to all that made this so easy.
Didn't end up buying, but had a great and honest experience with Tyler while getting an appraisal and viewing the lot of both used and new cars. I didn't feel pressured at all, and always felt like my wants and needs were a priority in looking at the inventory. Thanks again, Tyler!
Everyone I met and talked to were helpful and friendly. Pat was great and made us feel really welcomed.
7/6/18
Went back to get my sister her car. Le Song Champion was friendly and helpful.
Amy was super helpful and pleasant to work with! She helped me find a wonderful vehicle I will be enjoying for many years.
i bought a Tacoma here and love the truck but when I purchased it there was zero gas in it. Below empty and light on. I called back because it was really bothering me and they apologized and said they never do that it was an honest mistake and offered to send out a gas card I was totally fine with it and figured no biggie. Gas card never came it was just a way to get a customer off the phone. Also it was overdue for an oil change. Really disappointed in Broadway Toyota I expected more from a dealer. This is the type of service you would expect from a car place on 82nd avenue.
The sales person I dealt with was fine but the finance department was slow and very unfriendly. They were anything but helpful. Apparently my paperwork wasn't given to the licensing person in a timely fashion and I have been calling all week to get an update as my trip permit expires on Friday the 9th. Took four days to finally get an answer, the day before it expires and was told it would be sent to the Licensing department here in Vancouver so that I could get plates. When checking with them nothing has been received and the trip permit expires today and no one from Broadway Toyota will call me back or respond. I was met with the response of this isn't our problem.
The service department at Toyota of Portland is first class.
Fantastic! I called around noon for an appointment to do a 10K service. They picked up the car at 1:30 and returned it around 4:00 SAME DAY!
And at the estimated, reasonable price.
Just wow.
Finance guy was unprofessional, almost didnt go back to get the car because of him.
I recently took my Prius in for their Happy Hour oil change special. I was able to be seen right away and was done quickly. The price I paid was the price they mentioned at the beginning of service. I will be back!
We looked at 6 different used RAV4s across the city and Kat at Toyota of Portland was by FAR the most pleasant, professional and genuine salesperson that we encountered. She was the opposite of the sleazy used car salesperson that we encountered on our car buying quest! We have consistently found used cars available at Toyota dealerships to be in great condition, but we still took it to our own mechanic and were happy to find out that the dealership was totally honest about its condition. The whole process was pretty low-stress and easy. Thanks Kat, you're great!
I just got my first free 5000 service on my new Prius and it was great. It took 90 minutes, but I like that the mechanic wasn't rushed. The service agent didn't mind answering my many questions. The paperwork I got back showed everything they checked as well as the exact wear on my brakes and tires to the millimeter and 32nd of an inch. The area for sitting and waiting isn't that great, kind of crowded and small, but I just found out that they have a free shuttle service or will also pay for your Uber ride if you want to go anywhere with 7 miles while you're waiting.
NEED TO BE CHANGE AND IMPROVE:
1) courtesy and demonstrate politeness (vocal) of the sales person when answering to customer's query/ question
for eg; we asked Jason why do we need to sign up this form again since we seem have signed on it during our last visit? Jason just replied 'Well, I dunno Rob just asked me to do it for him!" I'm thinking as a customer, we just simply signed whatever paper presented to us without able to ask the detail or seek clarification?
2) we are being brought from sales desk to finance room and then to Allstate insurance office! total hours taken up 6hrs plus from 230pm-830pm! Honestly speaking, it's an unpleasant experienced for the number of hours processing all documentations in completing the sales as we have a little toddler who end up cried finally at about 8pm for her dinner time! But, we are still tight up at Allstate office; i'm pretty pissed off at that moment because in fact, we are not asking or requesting for Allstate quotation at all as we have a GEICO quotation on hands and your ppls aware of we had it but, we were brought by the finance mgr, Rob without our consent and knowledge.
3) Allstate insurance agent; Victoria shows dishonesty by changing our profile inappropriately in order to win over our existed GEICO quotation without informed us in advance. We spotted the mistake when we checked it out at home few days later after settled off the advance 6 months insurance payment. We swear to change and opt out from Allstate upon it's due date/ lapsed.
As a conclusion, OVERALL --> we are truly upset and disappointed with the service and sales experienced from front to end ..DESPITE we enjoyed the special price of vehicle purchased~ We aren't feel being treated as a customer (no sense of pride) when dealing with your people due to lack of:-
1) respect and process flow clarity to the customer is MISSING. WHY? Before lead us from sales desk --> finance mgr room discuss about extended warranty (we thought only discuss about our financing rate borrow the loan but who knows end up everything about extended warranty to earn our MONEY/ hit the sales?) --> ALLSTATE insurance office ---> We feel being treated like a chess piece!!!!
2) empathy by putting themselves into customer shoes; NO BEVERAGE (DRINK) is served during the long hours of service, poor time management that taken up so many hours, lack of consideration in customer perspective; your people just busily talked and explained what they feel good to us and taken lightly to hear from customer needs because, we have TO STOP them FEW TIMES for 1) being speak too fast, and 2) stop them for question in OUR MIND! They are suppose to stop half way or before proceed to a new phase by checking with customer likes "excuse me, do u have any question before we proceed"? It's seriously missing throughout the whole process cycle in your dealership and it MUST be improved and take this feedback seriously and meddling it immediately!!!
3) the accuracy of paper document; our financing rate is wrongly calculated and we spotted it after reached home! Then, we mail and called the sales person but to no response UNTIL, we asked the helped from your helpdesk/ counter lady.
Normal good service and car was picked up and returned to my house as I no longer drive.
Everything at the dealership was 5 star. My only remark would be about the dad who couldn t control his son running around, screaming , messing up magazines on the table. It was a relief when they finally left the room after 45 minutes. Cute st first, but I can only handle so much of that , and I m a pretty patient guy (father of 2 sons and retired first grade teacher).
Went in for a simple oil change and they "lost" my keys. I had to go through 4 employees and wait next to my vehicle in the parking lot for 30 minutes while my keys were "found". No apologies were offered, just a "Oh, here's your keys." Not a great first impression of their organization or training.
Great experience, wonderful customer service. Thank you
Toyota of Portland provided a very easy and comfortable process for getting my new Highlander. Eric Sawyer was friendly and engaging and I didn t feel pressured into buying or not buying. The whole process took a minimal amount of time and I felt well taken care of the entire time. Thanks Toyota of Portland! I love my new Toyota!!
I LOVE Toyota. My partner and I have leased Toyota for many years. We consistently had the same sales representative and have been loyal to him and the dealership. After the last lease we learned the sales representative left the company and we met a new representative. The representative we met was not knowledgeable about the cars and read information about their lease deals and vehicles from a computer screen. I was interested in switching from a 4 Runner (which we had consecutive leases for many years) to a Tacoma because we need a truck. I wanted to see the Tacoma and learn more about it's features. We did inform him that we would be making a decision in the next 30 days (not the day we visited the dealership). He took us to the truck, unlocked it, and then became uninterested. We asked about specific features (i.e. auto lights, auto wipers, etc.) and he answered them incorrectly. Two days later we went to Gresham Toyota and the representative was absolutely magnificent! He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Toyota's products. I did not buy anything the day we met (I also did not feel guilty) - but we are buying from him in two weeks and he now has a long term client. I love Toyota!
Great place to buy a Toyota and the service department has a great knowledgeable staff!
Every visit to this place has been good. Granted, every time I have gone the service has been paid for, at first with my 2 years/25,000 miles when I purchased the car, and then again from 30,000 to 45k miles when I purchased their Toyota extended care program for $300. BUT I always know that at the dealership I'll get the most reliable service because that's what they do. I'll probably continue to go to them for my regular maintenance as long as the prices remain reasonable.
Was shopping around for a new or gently used 4runner. Brian at Toyota of Portland was very helpful. Unfortunately the one we were going to buy sold the night before we came down to buy it. They found us a similar specced 4runner at a nearby dealership and were able to match the price of they one we were quoted before, there was just about a couple hundred worth of extras options the new one had. Even with the extra options it was still the best deal in the area for a new 4runner with the stuff we wanted. Would definitely work with Brian and Toyota of Portland again. Thanks!
I've been going to Broadway Toyota for 7 years. Even after I moved out of Portland, I choose to go back for my services. They're reliable, and conveniently located.
The staff members were very courteous and the waiting room and restrooms were clean. I brought my laptop and got some work done. Overall it was a very pleasant experience!
This is a review for the service department. They have always been very upfront and professional with me when I take my Prius in for maintenance. They make suggestions but do not pressure you into buying into something. They're fast, thorough, and give clear communication. I have brought my car here for 3 years with no issues; would definitely recommend.
This is my fifth time back to Toyota of Portland! The staff is excellent from sales and finance to management. They do go the extra mile to make sure your experience is top notch. I highly recommend this dealership.
Holiday weekend and I had no appointment. Many warning lights on my dashboard lit up and I had a camper to get 60 miles away before noon. They took me in. Warned it would be several hours, but they would squeeze it in. They OVER delivered! In fact they were very quick, reset the alarms and gave the car a clean bill of health and I was on my way. Very much appreciated! Excellent communication, a perfect result!
My experience was terrible. I never received a proactive update for my service. I got the text for the service tracker, but that was never updated beyond "vehicle checked in". I repeatedly had to reach out to my service adviser for updates, frequently requiring multiple attempts to reach out on my end.
I needed to replace my passenger side mirror. I asked for an estimate when I booked my service and again when I dropped off the car, they said it was impossible to give one until they could look at the mirror and see what components were damaged. When it came time to replace the mirror, I was told that even though the damage didn't require all the parts for the mirror assembly, it comes as one assembly and that the entire thing would be installed. I'm not complaining about the fact that parts come as an assembly, I understand that. What frustrates me is that no matter what happened to my mirror I would have needed the assembly anyways, so just tell me up front "Hey these come as an assembly, so it's going to be $X minimum, but it could be more depending on what all was damaged." I already made the choice to go to the dealership and pay the dealership premium over a bodyshop, just be straight with me.
Finally the service itself was delayed an entire day because the paint shop sprayed the mirror with the wrong color.
So they failed on giving me upfront pricing information, they failed on a customer service standpoint, and they botched the repair job (admittedly they then fixed it before I got it back). They failed me on every level it's possible to fail on.
Was able get get my car on Sunday following service, even though service department was closed. Super easy!
Yes on Saturday I got a lovely car it didn't take too long and everybody was really friendly really helpful so happy
I have always taken my car to Toyota of Portland for servicing. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They answer all questions, complete work promptly, stay in contact throughout the day with information on progress. They never do any work without asking for input and approval first, plus if there are a number of extra items needing work, they will advise on what is most crucial and what can wait. I appreciate their honesty and professionalism.
They didn't fix my problem, but they were nice about it
Sale prices a bit high but great repair and maintenance services.
Worst customer Service ever ! Nothing but 18-year-old kids who don't know anything about what they're doing and are extremely rude ! Never again will I buy a Toyota or get my car serviced here !
Unsatisfied :(
I purchased my 2019 Rav4 Adventure on 9/20/19. I am happy with the vehicle, however I have had nothing but trouble with the dealership.
Issue #1: When test driving and before finalizing paperwork i was told the car had heated/AC seats and heated steering wheel. After driving her for a day i couldn t find where to turn on the heated seats The salesman i worked with had me come back to the dealership to set up the entune feature on my vehicle so i figured since I was going into the dealership anyway i would ask him where i can turn on the heated seats! He could not find out where to turn them on either (mind you he didn t seem to know much about any of the technical parts in the car really). After looking at the manual he said oh you know what, it doesn t have heated seats. Thats with the cold weather package . After expressing my concern/disappointment about being under the impression the vehicle had heated seats he ended up offering to install heated seats (aftermarket) at No cost to me. Fine, i can agree to that. They at least made that right.
Issue #2: When purchasing my vehicle i knew there was a small scatch on the top of the front bumper, i was told by 3 different people there at the dealership that it would be something they can easily buff out when they put the clear protection wrap i purchased on, no problem. I took my vehicle in on Tuesday night 9/24/19 to have the work started on Wednesday 9/25/19. I was told my car would for sure be ready and done Friday 9/27/19. I called on Friday afternoon to get an update, since i had not heard anything yet from them, and I was told my car had been sent to a body shop because the scratch was deeper then they thought. You would think they would have tried to contact me and let me know this but no. I had to call them (which was a hassle trying to get ahold of anyone who knew anything about what was going on with my car) to find this out. I was then told my car is expected to be done by Friday 10/4/19. I called Toyota around 3:35pm on Friday (the day i was expecting to pick up my car), no answer so i left a message. I got a phone call back around 4pm from a Manager bearing bad news that they wont have my car back until Tuesday night 10/8/19 and i will be able to pick it up the fallowing day, Wednesday. WOW. Again, I had to be the one to initiate the call from them to even get this news!!! I expressed my frustration and how at this point they did not sell me a new vehicle, they sold me a damaged vehicle and i am almost ready to tell them to keep the damn thing and i will take my business elsewhere. As i know they are doing this all at no charge he didn t seem eager to try to make any of this right.
Issue #3: I had the full front bumper clear protection put on. They actually made that a speedy process and gave me a complimentary loaner vehicle for the day. When picking up my car I was so eager to get home after sitting in traffic for over an hour to get there i gave her a quick look over and headed home. I gave it a good look this morning and found dirt under the wrap and spots where the wrap has bubbled. I was given a discount on the clear protection when initially buying my vehicle (thank goodness) but even with the discount i am VERY disappointed with the quality and lack of attention to detail on such a service.
All in all i LOVE my Rav4 itself BUT i am sorry i ever chose to give Toyota of Portland my business! :(
These guys discredited another mechanic who told me I needed a repair that I didn t need. They saved me over $300, which I happen to be a big fan of. If I were voting with the stars in the galaxy, these guys would get them all. But since google only allows 5, they ll get 5.
Quick service. Accurate. Convenient and they set up an Uber to get me to and from work.
Fast friendly service, Also thank you for the reminder emails when it s time to come in for service
My service rep. and tech. did a great job in gpetting my Camry repaired. I am pleased with their work and customer service.
My service advisor Nick Oliveria was amazing. He was very attentive, honest, went above beyond the expectations I had and overall a nice person. I went for an oil change and a few other maintenance things originally but decided to go with a car detail too. I m glad I did the car looks brand new. Highly recommend Toyota of Portland.
Love the drop-in Happy Hour oil change, easy and saves a few bucks, plus the service is good.
I always have a great experience at the Toyota of Portland on NE Broadway. The staff are all wonderful and helpful. The service department are wonderful! I can not say enough about the service at this location. Hats off to Ben, who handled my appointment!
New vehicle. Battery was dead when I test drove, new battery replaced it. 8mo later the "new" battery died. Obviously one of your techs just hot swapped a battery from another unit. Unacceptable behavior. Andrew was helpful
Good service, great lobby with free beverages and snacks for purchase. Also has a brewery and great restaurant right around the corner!
This dealership has some extremely rude staff that will not return my calls for TWO MONTHS. I got a clutch replacement done about 1000 miles ago. My clutch is now squealing. After the dealership in my home town took apart the clutch they realized no lubrication was put on two metal to metal parts. Due to the repair error, my tranquil sleeve now has deep grooves in it and need a sleeve kit or a full transmission replacement. THIS dealership will not respond (STEVE SCHUMACHER) to my calls AT ALL and I have been without a working vehicle for 2 months after doing an $1800 repair at their dealership. This lack of communication is disrespectful and it has finally made me irritated and forced me to write this negative review
This dealership is poorly organized and un-professional. I signed a sales contract on a new 2019 Tacoma off-road with all of the premium options, (a bit harder-to-find truck) one month before it was set to arrive. I checked in about weekly for 3 weeks and finally my new truck was going to be there the following Sunday! I made an appt to come pick it up a few days later, and an hour before I was set to pick it up I receive a call that a different salesman had changed the stock number and sold my truck to someone else! What foul play and un-professional conduct. Their management then proceeded to lie to me about how they were trying to contact other dealers to have another one transferred in at no cost to me blah blah blah... but they could sell me a different model.... I heard them and their shenanigans out for about a week before I started looking around again. Toyota Gladstone had a comparable one in stock the whole time(somehow Portland couldn t see this?!?) I took my Toyota Portland paperwork to Gladstone and found my truck for a comparable offer.
These guys are snakes. Steer clear.
Summer at Toyota of Portland was extremely helpful and punctual. She was there when I pulled in, and was there to help when I came back to pick-up. The service was done right, my car was clean and Summer was very communicative. Overall, fantastic experience at Toyota of Portland!
So, my service tech representative (not the actual repair person) got sick and somehow that delayed my warranty-covered repair. I had to call back several times to get someone to push the repair forward so I could get my car back before heading out of town on vacation.
Then I was told that my repair was delayed because the part just arrived yesterday - then the next day I was told, "no the part arrived just this morning." Get your story straight, guys. Very frustrating.
This would be a one star review, but they let me keep the courtesy car for the duration of my vacation.
I am a returning customer. I have purchased multiple new vehicles from Toyota of Portland (former Broadway Toyota) because of their excellent customer service and a very welcoming environment. The inside and outside premises are always well maintained. On the other hand, my sales guy Donnie Griffin is the best salesperson I have ever dealt. He makes sure that I get what I wanted and that I go home happy. If he doesn t have the vehicle available in there lot, then he will go further and beyond to locate one for you. Therefore, Toyota of Portland's outstanding service and friendly staff, makes customers want to come back.
I have the best car ever built - that's lasted me, so far, 170000 miles. Fortunately I haven't had any service issues so I didn't need to go the a dealership. Unfortunately now that its older, I need to take it to Toyota. My experiences have not been good in the past, including at Broadway Toyota dealership. I was encouraged when I heard new ownership, but still skeptical. After Gresham Toyota charged me several hundred dollars to tell me I had no AC leak (I've lost the freon 3 times in the last few months, I knew otherwise as I told them when I brought it in) It was especially maddening because I didn't ask for a $300 test, I already knew. But they called "all done" and didn't do a thing but charge me. They said "we tested, no leak!" I also paid for a rental car at $275. That was last week. The freon leaked out in 3 days, so I reluctantly took it to Broadway Toyota. Scott promised to call with the problem, tell me the cost and fix it. I'd heard it all before.
Broadway Toyota and Scott shined. First of all, they gave me a rental car for free. Then he called me when I was barely gone from the dealership to tell me they'd already found the leak and how much to fix. 1.5 days later, I have my completely fixed car back and I'm very happy.
I know its a lot to ask today, but Broadway Toyota did what they said they would, when they said, and for how much they said. Miracle today. I hate to say thank you for doing what I paid for, but unfortunately that seems to be way today. And I really do appreciate having my car and AC back all fixed. Thanks Scott!
The Happy Hour oil change is a good idea. It involves a longer waiting period, but the price is worth it.
They couldn't be bothered to give me a simple quote on new shocks and struts so i i will simply take my business elsewhere.
Loved my experience. Ken was super patient with me, while we found just the right Rav 4 that fit my requirements and my budget. Thank you
I had the best experience here! The staff was extremely straight forward and seemed genuinely committed to provide great service all around.
Our guy was Brian Miller, who was professional, knowledgeable and easy to spend time with while the rest of the team worked on the documents.
Alltogether I would recommend this retailer 100%!
I worked with Amy on a Tacoma for my business and she did an amazing job. Everyone I had the opportunity to work with was incredibly pleasant, I'll be back for my next vehicle purchase.
Tried to scam me for unnecessary service. Do yourself favor and stay away.
Luis Medrano Montes was our salesperson who showed us around and helped us test drive the cars we wanted. he is a combination of patience, information and quickness. We loved talking to him about the inventory and the cars available.
The only thing we didn't like about the whole experience is the multiple emphasis on the same extended warranty, gap insurance, anti theft insurance policies that they wanted us to buy after we decided we will get the car. We had to go through this discussion twice with different persons once with Jared who gave us the price quote and the person with whom we signed the paperwork. And after they understood that we were firm on not getting these insurances, the interaction was quite blunt and my wife and i thought it was rude.
I bet this is not how everyone there is. Its just that one person who was helping us sign papers.
Overall i give a 4 star!
I could have looked past not having my name on file (three times); and I could have looked past "should be done shortly" as actually meaning "about two more hours"; but what really bothered me was that when my car was ready, instead of bringing it to me, they left it outside in the main parking lot, unlocked and unaccompanied. Having just had my car broken into, this was, needless to say, pretty frustrating. At least the car works!
