Our salesman JP was very patient and polite with us. It was my first time purchasing a vehicle, and even though we spent hours and hours looking at and test driving different cars, he never stopped funny and kind. I would highly recommend JP for anyone who wants to purchase a Toyota in Portland.

My girlfriend went in to get a service performed under warranty. The idiot guy told her that they needed to charge her $110 for a diagnosis even though one was already done (for free) and that it would take several hours. When she asked why, he told her that if she doesn't pay for the diagnosis and they service her car UNDER WARRANTY then it would VOID HER WARRANTY.... WHAT?!

This little, weaselly idiot was obviously trying to scam some poor girl coming in to get warranty service. The guy's really lucky I wasn't there, to say the least, because I'd have given him a piece of my mind for trying to take advantage of my girlfriend. I'm not sure what it is about women being taken advantage of in this industry still but I intend on escalating this as far as it goes until action is taken. I even called and left a message for the manager who hasn't called me back. Pathetic. From what I've read this is of the norm for this stupid location. Go to the other locations, they'll do their job without lying about it, as we've experienced.

Andrew assisted me when I showed up for my appointment to get a Toyota airbag recall remedied. He answered all of my questions and called me when my car was done ahead of schedule. I also got a great deal on an oil change at the same time.

The service here is outstanding, and I love the free Lyft from the dealer and back if it will be awhile. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is my service contract was at lunch when I returned and it took almost 1/2 hr to get my car checked out and returned. After getting a text that my car was ready, he should have let me know who to contact while he was at lunch.

I enjoyed my experience at Toyota of Portland. I got exactly what I was looking for and Errol was great to work with. Next time you need a vehicle, go to Toyota of Portland and ask for Errol. He made it easy to get what I needed and I was treated fairly.

My truck went in for service and since it was in I asked them to check the wheels because of a vibration. I thought I might have lost a tire weight. They checked and they were all wrong with the weights. One tire had to be rotated on the wheel to get it right. Now there is no vibration in the truck at all. The truck drives so much better, it's like night and day.

great!

Bought a 2019 Rav 4 XLE Premium from Nick N. and Jared, who were extremely helpful. Nick and Jared deserve 4.5 stars his support staff... maybe 1 star.

This process was extremely long because tracking down a vehicle from another dealership. I was told I would be contacted the next morning of the status of getting the car and if I could come in at 4pm or even earlier. I received a call at 4pm asking where I was because the car was ready... but I never received a call in the morning to confirm whether the appointment was set. I took off the morning from work to deal make sure that I could come in ASAP to pick up the car.

I finally received the car at 8pm that day because I had previous commitments. I was promised the paperwork would be ready and done because we were returning one car and getting the final version we liked. We get there and sit for 45min ish only to be told that the papers are not ready. 1 more hour passes.... we are told the machines are broken and the final papers cannot be printed, so we get a temp. contract and leave.

Upon leaving, maybe 5 min from the dealership. I notice the gas tank is 75% empty... who sells a car with no gas?? So, I have to fill my own gas and was told I would get reimbursed... that has yet to happen...

I come back the next evening after work, hoping to sign and leave but wait another 1.5 hours before signing the final papers. Do these people think I have all the time in the world?!? After signing, and deal done. We drive away and realize we were not given the temp. license plate.... so, we make an appointment to come back again... At that point I just cannot deal with coming back that night.

Next day, come back from the temp. license plate, license plate covers (which they didn't give initially), and hoping to make the apt. to get door guards on the car which all Toyota's I have purchase have complimentary. I am not able to make the appointment and was told I will receive a call the next day.

Next day comes, I do not receive a call by afternoon, so I call and make an appointment for myself the next day.

This is now Saturday... 5 days after the initial signing day of the car. I come back and get my door guards installed and get a complimentary loaner for the day... which was dirty inside and out. That was the only loaner and I had to leave, so I took it.. noting to the person that took care of me that it was filthy.

In the end, I got my car which I am extremely thankful for having Nick and Jared bend over backwards to help me out... however; does this place think that I have all the free time in the world and love coming back to a dealership 20 miles out of my way from home or work??

Calling the dealership is a mess because I ask for one person and leave a message and will be told I will have my call answered; however, no one does so I directly contact either Nick and Jared, feeling hesitant because these men are busy too, only to have them help me. Does no one else in the dealership communicate or follow through as a team?

I would only recommend this place to get a car if you feel like you have ALL the time in the world and have nothing else going on for you and you take initiative for every service/action you need. To reiterate, Nick and Jared.. I give you 4.5 stars for the help... anyone else that helped me maybe 1 star.

Nick and the whole financing crew are AWESOME! I came in 2 nights ago, not thinking I would be able to get approved because of my not so good credit but he did it! He s fast, not pushy and helped me find the best options for me and I ended up leaving with a beautiful new Corolla! Thank you Nick!!

One of the best experiences I have had buying a car.
DANIEL MUSGROVE from Broadway Toyota was the perfect combination of professional and genuine. Going into a car dealership is always a bit stressful because of the usual "hard sell" tactics that dealerships use.
I never once felt pressured by Daniel or any of the others we interacted with at the dealership. We went in for a used car and drove off with a brand new car. If you, your friends or family are looking for an honest, low pressure experience...visit this dealership and ask for Daniel. Beyond happy.

Very professional , thanks to Cody who helped me through everything , even tho it took a while but he didn t give up on trying so hard to get me a vehicle. And I 100% give him props . But of course the management team was GREAT! So thanks #teamTOYOTA for a great experience... I would definitely buy again from TOYOTA OF PORTLAND so if I could rate more than 5 stars I d rate .

Excellent buying experience, and Heather was wonderful to work with. She found me the PERFECT car, right in my price range, and didn't try to sell me a more expensive car. The entire process took only 2.5 hours, and then I drove my new car home! Very positive experience - I highly recommend Broadway Toyota and Heather.

Car buying experience was great! Amazing even. Getting service done is ok, but often in my experience the staff has miscommunication issues with each other and have prolonged services because of it. They still take great care of my car though.

Thank you again, Toyota if Portland and especially Dennis!

I have been taking my car to Broadway Toyota for a handful of years now with a short break in Seattle. I thought all Toyota service centers would be similar, but I was very wrong. I really appreciate that Dan and the service team take time to answer my questions and give me a full report of what they've done without me asking. I also appreciate that I can drop my car off in the morning, get a ride to work, then get picked up when they are done with little disruption to my day.

In July, I brought in my 2004 Sequoia for a $ 900 rear latch repair, the service advisor said the repair was guaranteed. Latch failed soon after - technician recommended a new panel to keep dust out - brought vehicle back in and only offered small discount on repair. Vehicle is used in high dirt area - but it is designed to do so - that is why I bought SUV. New repair $ 700. All I can say is guarantee is not a guarantee.

I had an excellent experience at Toyota of Portland. The salesman Daniel Musgrove was friendly, patient, an excellent teacher, and was very good about finding answers to all of my questions and concerns. He also helped me set up the electrtonics. The finance person was very good about finding a variety of options for making this purchase. I can not imagine how it could have been better.

I bought my first Toyota ever and couldn t be more happy. From the minute I inquired online until I finally stepped into the dealership every one was so nice. Brian was my salesman and he was extremely knowledgeable and answered everyone of my questions. He was great!! I was never pressured at all. I feel like I got a terrific deal and this rare for me. I usually get taken advantage of. Even the total amount of time I was at the dealership was fast.
Thank you everyone at Portland Toyota and especially Brian

Visiting from the east coast with a Prius 2010. Had to replace the inner fender liner on the front left side. Same work was performed on the right front inner fender in Kansas 2 months ago at a total cost (before taxes) of $140 (part and labor). Toyota of Portland did the same work on the left front and charged $253. How can it be that same service (part and labor) costs $113 more (80% more) at Toyota of Portland???. This info will be sent to TOYOTA USA headquarters. Would not come back to this service shop!!!

We had excellent service. Thai was extremely helpful in our search for just the right car. Thai was totally focused on what we said and showed us the cars that best suited our interest. Thai knows the inventory and knew where to point us. Thai was friendly and easy to work with. He found us a new 2017 Toyota Camry at a great price. We made several trips to the Dealership looking at different models. Each time we arrived Thai was patient and professional. A success story!

Well, Kenny has done it again, I walked in to see about my car in service area, ran into Kenny and was pleased to find a deal that put in a brand new 2013 and with lower payments. The way I figure it, I'll just always have to pay for what I really want. Kenny Scott is a very good salesmen and does a excellent job in taking care of customers needs and following through. Kenny I give you two thumbs up!!!!!!! This is fifth car my family has purchased from Broadway and Kenny.

I brought my car in for service and Mike Taylor was my advisor. He was so helpful and nice. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I will bring my car back to Toyota of Portland again. There service department waiting room was clean and well maintain and all the workers were very nice. The coffee was really good too.

Just excellent! Adriana Stamps, Scott Caverhill,
Damn Neal and Ian Cour are all professionals who respect and value your business. They are unlike other dealers and never pressure you against your will like other stealerships. This is my 2nd vehicle purchased through Toyota of Portland on Broadway and I m a customer for life! Trust me, I m a savvy car negotiator and these guys get it. Don t go anywhere else.

We used Costco buying service, We had pre-approved Bank of America Loan in hand, IWe knew model we wanted and we had an idea of trade in value when we went to dealer. I advised the salesman I was on tight time schedule.

We were driving from S. Oregon to Vancouver BC. We stopped at Portland Toyota and everything was waiting for us. A couple test drive models of Sienna Van. Within 2 hours the purchase was completed and we were on our way to VC/BC.

Easiest ad quickest purchase ever.

The car I originally went to look at wasn't quite what I wanted, but 2 of the sales folks set down with me & we went thru some other vehicles in their inventory. I spotted a GMC Terrain, checked out the specs & it looked perfect! I waited in their spacious (huge!) lounge area, with a luxurious, complimentary coffee machine, while the sales people ran over to a completely different lot to bring it back for me to check out. It was a great car, in near new condition, even tho it's a 2011. We took it for a drive & I bought it on the spot. The entire process was friendly, easy, & efficient. :-)

I had an amazing team rally together who all worked hard to get me into my new 2019 RAV4! I came to the dealership looking to purchase a Certified Used and after some back and forth I was offered a deal on the new 2019 that I couldn't refuse.

Jeff, Jeremy, and Joe were all knowledgeable, patient, relatable and so awesome. We wouldn't have gotten to that final offer if it wasn't for them being so helpful and willing to make something work. Daniel in finance made signing all of the paperwork a breeze, despite is being after 11pm by the time it was all said and done.

I couldn't have asked for a better team and I couldn't be any happier with my purchase. Huge shoutout to that team! We'll be back to talk about trading in my partners Prerunner within the next year.

Toyota of Portland is our one and only car dealer. They have been awesome since the first moment I walked into the showroom. We have gotten 3 vehicles through them now, 2 loans and a lease, and every time the experience was above and beyond what I expect at a car dealership.

Thank you Toyota

Your loyal customers.

Kzam was the sales representative who assisted our youngest son to purchase a 2012 Corolla Sport. He was such a great help and guided our son through the purchase, providing the excellence in service we have always had at Broadway Toyota. Kzam helped our son's first car buying to be a totally positive experience. Thank you so much!

D. Williams and John Jensen were extremely professional, timely and courteous during my purchasing experience with Toyota of Portland. I was looking to move extremely quickly in my purchase and had to do much of the discussions and process over the phone and online, they made it happen. When I visited the dealership to purchase the car I was in a similar time crunch. They worked diligently and expeditiously to help me get the paperwork, insurance, registration, finance and maintenance package completed within an hour. This was the best purchasing experience I've had to date. I would recommend this business to anyone looking to buy their very first, brand-new car or even a used. Kudos to your staff!!

Great visit, Joe North took exceptional care in getting my cracked driver window ordered, removed and replaced all in about 6 1/2 hours in same day of request for repair! I love the window but the service is a 10 out of 10!

Niceness doesn't make up for poor communication, excessive pricing ,shabby execution or straight up misleading your customer. Offering a " deal" to correct what is fairly transparently a fault in the original service is insulting, not good customer care. Especially when the " deal" is the up front price given for the same service by Les Schwab. In this case, tire pressure sensors being quoted at nearly twice the price and the deal being basically the same as the competition full price...and the sensors mysteriously broke the day after tire replacement by Toyota service.
Yes, super nice folks.
But be prepared to be ripped off.

Looking at a longer work commute and needed to get something with better mpg than my Suburban. Anwar was very patient as we looked through all the Toyota certified Priuses. We found the right one for me and the numbers were where I wanted them to be. Great no pressure sale. Would highly recommend.

Roman was our salesman, and he was great! I highly recommend asking for him if you go here. We got a great deal on our car here, but we were kept waiting multiple times for long periods of time. Also when we came out to test drive our vehicle they had lost the key and we weren t able to drive it until they got one made about a week later. We ended up buying this vehicle, but we are having to pay for and order the keyless entry remotes ourselves as it only came with one regular key. Roman was great to work with though and none of the things we weren t happy about were his fault.

It was terrible experience. Don't come here to buy your new car. My father in came into a buy a Toyota Tundra and paid the $40,000 in CASH, but when his Tundra arrived the seats were the wrong color. He had SPECIFICALLY stated that we wanted a BLACK Tundra with BLACK leather seats, not that hard to understand, correct? So, about one week later we get the "correct" Tundra from another state. After a day of driving it, we realized that the VIN on the papers we received from them[the agency] didn't match the VIN on the Tundra my father was driving. When my father and I went to confront them about it(we were done with their bullshit at this point) the worker threatened to call the police on us, WHAT THE HELL??? My father paid FULL IN CASH, they give us the wrong truck not once, but TWICE. I was completely furious at this point. It was the worst car shopping experience. My father is a very compassionate, humble person that earned his money to buy his new car(previously owned a 1997 Caravan; terrible pulleys) from slavering himself in to his business, and they have the audacity to do this to him? Finally after what seemed like forever, someone from the agency came with a papers that contained corrected information. We signed and that was that. We never want to buy a car from them again.
Please, save your time and money. Don't come here. EVER.

I had an awful experience after i was trying to re...

I had an awful experience after i was trying to replace my car that was totalled. The initial sales person Scott was nice and professional and deserves a raise, but that is where it ended. I told them that i was preshopping and that i was waiting for gap to finish paying off my old car.
The sales manager then tried to give me a 2012 tacoma that was 4k over kelly blue book, which was an insult to my intelligence. After that, they switched the sales floor manager and this time they offered me a 2016 at kelly blue book value.
Then the whole financing was a total trainwreck. I dont have great credit, but i have some credit. But no banks would finance me while i still owed on my other car. (Also never purchase toyota gap cause you will be in this endless loop for forever, it took them over 2 months to payoff my other car and i ended up having to pay even more because i had to pay added interest.)
They told me the day of the sale, that they had a bank that would finance me. So i decided to go ahead with the deal, but that wasnt the truth because i got a letter in the mail that said that they basically lied. So then i all of a sudden had to prove that gap is paying off my old car. The dealer finance guy called and texted me daily to provide proof of gap on my old car. Which i brought in my policy, i brought in the letter that said that they were waiting on capital one. Then i had to call daily to capital one and Toyota gap daily. So check the status. Then they started threatening to call the truck in as being stolen to the police.
So a month had passed of this nightmare of trying to get gap to pay off the old car, so the finance company would finance me. The 2 to 3 hours of customer care hell daily would be enough to drive anyone crazy.
I walked into my credit union and they said that they would finance me after i provided proof that I had a gap claim in process. Well then, i had my purchase order form but it had the wrong bank so i went down to the dealer to update the form so i could have my credit union finance me. So basically, when i was there and i thought that i was getting forms for my credit union. But infact, They had me signing a loan for a different bank. So, when I brought the new purchase order to my credit union, they said that they couldn't finance me because it said that i already have financing. So, i called the dealer and they said that it was my problem, even though the loan wasnt finalized. They refused to allow me to have my credit union finance me and give me a purchase order with their name on it.
I called Toyota customer care, they said that they would check into the matter and call me back, which never happened. So really i just recommend not buying toyota because they dont value you as a customer. I ended up refining 2 months later to my credit union after waiting for my registration card from the dmv.

The staff was great and very helpful. Answered all questions or found out the answer. Sam is great to work with. The paperwork and signing all that stuff took forever. But you have legal stuff and all the DMV paperwork to sign so I'm not sure how to speed it up.

The service team is great, and I got in and out quite quickly.

I work in the hospitality industry, so I'm always alert when it comes to customer service. The only thing I would suggest would be having all team members, especially service drive greeters to always be in a Toyota branded shirt/ sweatshirt. The lovely girl who greeted me was very kind, however she looked sloppy in an over-sized zip up sweatshirt that was not even from Toyota. She always looked very disheveled. I was also off-put from the gentleman in the Parts Department who wore his hat backwards. I find that inappropriate, especially in a work setting. He can wear his like that outside when he is not on the clock, however when he is communicating with customers, he needs to look professional.
