I want to give zero stars I had my car for 4 years through bright financial It s been nothing but per hell dealing with them if you miss a payment they will cut your car off they called my phone over $.90 cents threatened to cut it off because it was past due I think thank GOD that I worked so hard and was able to finish the least off knowing I wouldn t have a car afterwards so me and my husband decide to Buy the car which they gave me a high buyout price I will never in my life deal with this company rude customer service don t know how to talk to people if you plan on going with this company because you have bad credit my advice is please wait save your money buy a car or go with Joe Ricci s.

I wanted to say all of my experience has not been the best with Brite Financial until this morning. I just lost my job and had surgery two weeks ago really didn't know what I was going to do regarding my payments or anything else. I called in and spoke with
Briona Pyor she was very professional and compassionate to my situation and my circumstances. Not only did she assist me bombshell followed up with me to make sure everything was OK and handled and to seeing there was any other assistants thatnsjr could provide to me. Me and my family are very grateful for service received. Thank you again Briona and thank-you Brite Financial for employees like Briona.
The absolute WORST company ive dealt with. Im not just talking about financial company's either. Any company ive done business with is better then this one. Ive been hung up on several times. They've set the phone down and had me talking to no one. I just gave up my car today because this company is 100% TRASH.
This company is a joke. I have had them "accidentally" lock my vechicle so that it can't be driven. Both times in the middle of the night. Once causing my baby to miss her first day of school and the other I was staranded at work for five hours until they opened in the am after working a 10 hour shift. There's never a manager to talk to and the customer service is rude. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
My issue. Insurance. I have faxed proof of insurance, called to verify. Oh "we never received it". Faxed 2nd time to a different #. I was told yes they received it and would notify payment department. I paid my car note without their insurance included. I have received 10 phone calls and texts saying I owe them $15. I refuse to pay Brite Financial for insurance when Im paying for full coverage out of my pocket. Oh and just a side note. I actually still paid them $10 over my actual car note. Started out as a good company. Now Im upset with their unorganization and constant phone calls. Im to the point I need my car, but if Im going to be harrassed about insurance which I have, but your company is too unethical to tell the truth. Come get your car and I'll get a lawyer. I'll call BBB and all news stations. Just tired of the daily BS.

When I met Nicole ( Sales Rep @ CaRite ) she was VERY nice & helpful! She even picked me up to go to the dealership. I was under the impression that I was gonna FINANCE the car I ve wanted ( but they don t finance at all ) so I got a 9,999 car which was fine but the interest rates are TOO HIGH! My issue(s) with them was ONE the car value kept going up every time I spoke to someone from 12k, to 14k, then 18k even though I was making ON TIME PAYMETS and that s what made my credit score drop. Every CSR I spoke to was horribly rude. TWO, I ve called them & informed them I was getting paid in the 15th now ( due date was 14th ) and guess what happened? It wasn t noted in my account afterwards and a month later After I paid my $449 on the 15th early morning, they slapped me with the late fee later own that day & told me that had to be paid & I took my time paying it of course because I was responsible for it even though I ve reported my change. Don t go to them expecting you re financing because they don t . & let s not forget about the issues that came with the car without fixing them . The brakes was BAD, there was a leak in my oil pipe, and majority of the car was tore up in the inside . Don t go to them expecting you re gonna finance because they ONLY LEASE. My experience with Kia was VERY PLEASANT so I knew they was doing something wrong.. Afterwards, I ve gave the car back not caring about it being on my credit because I ended up BUYING a brand new car : )
Spoke with Will today. Just needed general information about Direct Debit. Sent me the form right away. I sent it right back so we will see if it gets taken care of by 1/22/2019. If it does we are off to a great start. I will send update. Just a thought I don't know why you cant do a check over the phone. We pay all our bills that way...... The stars could change if again this gets done for our upcoming payment.
What makes me upset the most is that every time I call this place the rules change. Customer service reps act as if they do not have a clue as to what is going on. Then I was told that I could use/get my security deposit back or transfer it if I wanted purchase another car but now I really don't want to do business with these people at this point.

I'll preface this with stating that I am, and have always been, in good standing regarding my lease since I signed in May. I would definitely not recommend leasing from Brite.
As soon as you sign your lease, you're just a number to them. The customer service is pretty lackluster if you have a legitimate issue, and the lease is entirely restrictive. No payment date changes (although they are willing to postpone payments to work around pay dates), no real support if you have a serious issue that doesn't affect them, and you obviously pay a premium for leasing with them with bad credit.
They require a GPS unit/starter interrupter so they can disable your car if you become past due. This unit wires into the ignition, and if you do not have remote start, you cannot have remote start installed due to the wiring of the GPS unit. I was told, prior to leasing, that I could install remote start. I, of course, didn't get this in writing so I have no grounds to stand on, but the point is: the GPS unit is a thorn in your side.
Despite the fact that I do have a car with a payment that I can afford (granted I'll end up paying a large amount over what the car is actually worth), I have a decent car, I wouldn't sign again. They don't care about their customers, and they probably have some practices that are going to end up with them receiving legal action in the future for predatory practices.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The people working there must get paid to do NOTHING. Only time you get a call back is if you threaten to call the news. Iris told us on a Friday she would call us Monday with some sort of resolution because once again the vehicle we are paying 500 a month for was broken down AGAIN. Monday goes by...
No call. Thursday comes and I told them I would call the news if I didn't receive a phone call back. Received one within five minutes. These people are a joke.

This company has to be the complete worst of all times. I was laid off one week and the following week I got another job. I called brite and they told me they couldn't change my due dates because I signed the contract stating that I was able to pay every week. I have never heard of anything like that. I asked to speak to a manager on multiple occasions and they're only response was "it takes 24-48 hours before I could speak to one". The CSR's doesn't have great communications skills at all. They deactivated my car every week which caused me to have to buy a brand new battery. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT go through with them. You will regret it they don't even deserve a star but in order for me to give out my review I had to rate them (BS)
I have never experienced anything like this company before in my life. I never ask for a handout, but I do expect understanding when things happen that may cause you to be late. I spoke with a CSR yesterday by the name of Will and after explaining my situation he put me on hold (20 minutes) and then came back and asked what did I want to do when I explained to him before he put me on hold what I needed. I explained the severity of me needing to go to work yesterday and no one cared. I ended up paying for a Lyft. I can't wait until I'm out of this lease. If you can wait and save for a vehicle or even catch the bus, then do that. Its not worth the headache.
Horrible customer service . Just got a new job where i get paid bi weekly vs weekly . my payments were due weekly . and when i asked them if they would switch my payments to bi weekly they told me they don't do that any more .
Ive contacted them earlier in the week and told them i would be late . They still harrased my phone everyday . Call mutliple times , email, and send texts every single day i was late . As if i wasnt paying my payments regularly on time . They cut my car off bc i was a week late (which i relayed that information) . Absolutely ridiculous . Missed a few days of work like thats going to f*king help. Theyre terrific!

This company has caused me so much grief. Car rite the company I bought my car from sold me a car that was not safe and offered warranties that they never honored. I spent 5k fixing the car. The dealer they sent me to told me the car was not drivable. Car rite told me I could return it and I did. After that Brite never sent me any information. I contacted them because 2 years later they reported to my credit that I owed them $5000 I tried to request a invoice so I knew what I was being charged for. They were rude and refused to even give me a invoice and proceeded to hang up on me. I offered to pay payments for the amount I owed which was around $1200 they refused to take a payment. Went to court received a judgement on me and then took a different vehicle from me and sold it at a auction. I have been asking for over a year for proof of sale and or a credit for the car that had nothing to do with them that they stole and still after a year have never provided me proof of what they sold my other car for. Now I have paid them the total amount they say I owed because I felt I had no choice or my credit would be destroyed. So they got the full amount they were requesting plus a vehicle that had nothing to do with this account. Still after all this they are reporting a repossession and a balance on my credit. Everything on my credit report is incorrect even the amount they say I borrowed. I would never Recommend this crooked company to anyone. Even if you trying to build your credit as they claim to do. They will destroy your life! Stay away! Buyer beware!

This company is a scam! I have been with them for over 2 years now and it's been one lie after another! My carite dealership closed down a month after I leased the car and I have not been able to use the warranty that I paid for! The customer service sucks! One person tells me one thing and the next person tells me another thing. Never the same answer. This company is the fastest way to ruin your credit! I have been asking for over a year where I can get my car fixed that is local to me and not in another state and they have given me the run around for over a year now. Well 2 days ago they sent me a warranty company phone number and sure enough it's expired! Thanks Brite Financial for absolutely nothing! What a nightmare this has been. I am at the end of my lease with this company and I have NEVER in my life had such a run around. I just want to be done with this! The only reason I went with them is they were close to my work, had the car I wanted and seemed genuinely able to work with someone with no credit. DO NOT GET TANGLED IN THIS MESS!
I have been told they are accessing fees for late payments that can be between $4-200 a day anytime a payment was late (even though for years I paid my payment monthly, apparently I was on a weekly schedule), they took months to adjust my payment dates, their autopayments were often taken out on the wrong dates causing nightmares at my bank. If you call and question anything about their fees, costs or processes you are hit with a stonewall where nobody can explain anything to you. I was just told that I will not know any of the fees until a maxium of 10 days before my turn in date. So I will be responsible for god knows how much in random fees. In 5 years I have never been told of an additional "daily rental fee", when asked in my lease agreement where this information/cost was listed I was referred to a line that states "Additional fees may be assessed at lease termination" which I assumed would be for mileage or damages... WRONG. They can and will add whatever they want with no explaination.
If you are more than 2 days late on any payment (even weekly) they will disable your vehicle. They will not work with you to turn the vehicle on or to set up a proper payment schedule. I have had my car "accidentally" disabled more times than I can count. Over the past 5 years, the reps have been consistently unhelpful. There is never a supervisor available and when they do call back they have no clue either! They are rude when you ask any questions because they don't know the answers either.
GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I have been through other small dealerships that have been wonderful, this company is a nightmare.

This company is so bad, first they set up my account incorrectly for my payments. That lowers my credit score saying my payments are late. They act like they don't have common sense or know how to talk to customers. Its easy for them to take your money but they don't give you all or the correct information or forms to help. Set up an arrangement for a payment and they still took the money out of my account before they were supposed to. For me I'm never dealing with this company again.

1. They have disablers on each car. They won't repo your car but they will disable the starter so you can't drive it. I took my car out of town and was stranded. Most embarrassing thing ever when 5 other people are depending on you for transportation.
2. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in life. Worst than McDonald's. They tell you what to pay and by when no matter if you were injured and can't work, laid off .. Etc. The call center people give you attitude as if you owe them money personally.
3.high car payments. High interest. $150 a week for a 2012. $600 a month. I hate the car. Needed maintaince a month after having it.
4. THEY WILL DISABLE YOUR CAR FOR ONLY BEING A MONTH BEHIND!!!
5. Not professional. They don't care about keeping your business. They will rather you struggle and turn the car in so they can release the car to another desperate person.
6. I was paying for insurance and they charged me for there own insurance. Never got a refund even though I had proof of insurance.
7. After disabling your car they will still charge you weekly payments even tho you can't drive it. You car responsible for where it is when it gets disabled so if it gets towed by the city oh well.
8. Save your money. Buy off of Craigslist before leasing from this company. They prey on the poor. It might seem like a dream to someone with bad credit. But I promise it's a nightmare.
9. I pay $600 a month..... For a 2012..... That has issues that they won't cover with warranty... Don't be like me.
10. My goal right now is to get out of this lease... The stress of waking up every morning wondering if my car is disabled bc I'm a week behind in payments is a nightmare.

This company deserves 0 stars!!! They are robbers and thieves that rape their customers every week. They turn your car off, even if you make your payments on time. They call and harass me everyday, even though they have a record of my weekly payments.
When I first got the car two years ago. It had a foul odor and had some sort of dead brown bugs in it. (What the other customer said about these being flood damaged cars, I believe).
They are too stupid to realize that if you deactivate my car. I can't get to work and therefore cannot pay you.
A word of advice to anyone considering buying from this company. Save your money, catch the bus, or Uber before you sell your soul to these bastards.

Kemala at extension 211 was suppose to call me back because i wanted to return my car, she didnt call me back after months of calling her , then i finally reached her she told me to call her when i get to the dealership with the milage and that she would call the dealership to tell them i was bringing the car. she told her worker to tell me she wasnt available and then she forwarded me to voicemail. She didnt evenbother to tell the dealership that i was dropping the car there so i had a big issue and she wouldnt take my call. All i can say is shes and brite financial are very unprofessional and karma will hit them. Just because you are miserable in real life doesnt mean you have to bring that attitude to work with you

I am extremely disappointed with this company I was lied to when getting my vehicle and I feel like they re ruining my life!! I was told I was doing a 2 year lease and it s really a 4 year lease paying $500 a month for a car that s not worth it the car was originally $14,000 by the end of this lease I ll be paying almost &26,000 then after me having the car for a year they tell me the new dealership I am trying to get a vehicle from will have to pay over $15,000 to pay the car off today after I have already paid a years worth of the note. I feel like I m being forced to stay in a vehicle I don t want and being overcharged for it!!! Asked for an arrangement on my account for 50 dollars and was told I couldn't at first and I said well i deferred a whole payment before, so then the rude ass lady say well you got til friday to pay or we will flag your car.... they called texted and emailed me twice a day everyday and flagged and disabled the car on Thursday. This company is great for people 100% needing a car and can not get financed with traditional banks however the monthly payment and interest rates are ridiculous I paid almost $650 a month for a newer (at the time) dodge avenger. Over the course of 3 years I've paid about $23,000 (MSRP for a brand new one is about $20,795) not to mention the couple thousand dollar down payment i put down. At the end of my lease I was giving the option to buy if I paid them another $4,000... Don't get me wrong at the time i "leased" the "USED" car i was in a pinch and they helped out and financed me however had I been smart enough to figure out I would be paying about $10,000 more than I would for a brand new one. I would have probably looked elsewhere.
My point is if you're in a pinch i guess go with them but expect to pay out of this world interest on it. Your number one choice should be a traditional bank before these guys.

Look, I know that others have had less than desirable experiences with Brite in the past, but their auto leasing program serves a very specific purpose, to give a chance to those people that have been turned down elsewhere. That being said, it is necessary for them to take alternative methods to secure their assets, their vehicles, when serving such a high risk market. If you make every effort to honor your obligations and contact them in the event of financial hardship, you will be fine. Their customer service has improved significantly, and if you maintain open communication with them, you will have a great experience. I am nearly two years into my lease now, and I couldn't be happier. My payments are reporting to the credit bureaus, and I don't have to worry about having an unreliable vehicle. To the underserved masses, if you have been turned down by other dealerships in the past, give Brite some due consideration. Their staff has always been friendly and helpful, and I would certainly recommend them to someone looking to build credit.
This is the worst company to get your car finances from. They harass you every single day , constantly calling 3 or more times a day. The agents aren t helpful nor professional at all. During this Co is 19 crisis , I heard an agent constantly talking to someone else and yelling children in the background. IF YOU WANT A CAR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !

Customer service skills needs to be groomed. There is little to no communication with customers. I have even tried to work with them in the pass and customer reps recognize the number and refuse to answer the phone.

That despite the horrible experience recently received with multiple personnel with BRite Financial, Kayla has ALWAYS been easy to contact and willing to assist, with a pleasant attitude. My account manager changed and was either unreachable or simply decided to not contact me regarding my situation, but Kayla got the job done! Thank you again.
Customer services really sucks. Customer representatives do not return calls. My daughter was told (once she reached). "Why are you calling?". She was calling to get status on a car that is no longer operable, that was given back to company. Story too long to report here. Bottom line this finance company is not WORTH dealing with. We are small claims court, filing complaint with Michigan Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. There too many reviews and people with the same complaint. I believe there are grounds for Class Action Suit. Definitely contacting legal assistance.

Worst finance company ever my car was wrote off as a total loss and this process has been the worst experience ever. Without a balance being mailed to me my credit score dropped 150 points because they decided to put a charge off on my credit report. I eventually talked to two representatives and neither could give me an explanation I'll never recommend them to no one , interest rate double the value of the vehicle..terrible right?

The customer service reps are great. The company they work for is trash. This company has no ethics nor principal and values. I got a loan from them, the car i received from CarRite was not inspected and has costed me over $6,000 worth of repairs within a year and a half of having it (don't ever buy a car from CARITE neither). My payments are every other week for a 2009 vehicle and is almost $500 a month, my employment changed and they wouldnt change my payments to monthly. I've paid on time and consistently for over a year, it still hasn't gave my credit a good impact. Although I'm constantly doing major repairs on the car, CarRite or Brite Financials dgaf, I still have to make payments on time They can have this car back.
8/18/16 - I thought I had a good direct contact in April but now it's Tammy. Tammy worked with my situation and gave me leniency when I needed it the most. For all intents and purposes, unlike April, at least TAMMY ANSWERS ALL MY CALLS. Unfortunately, when your credit's not stellar, folks like me have to rely on places like these to get us back on the road. It's a catch 22. Thankfully, there are people at these places like Tammy that actually care.
5/2016 - I have just spoken with April at Brite Financial in the Customer Service department. Because of her kindness, courtesy and empathy, I have asked her to become my new contact agent and she agreed.
Prior to her I had Sean M., who was absolutely horrible, disrespectful and just plain rude. He would hang up on me before I finished my sentences. He acted as though it was HIS car I was leasing instead of Brite's. He seemed as though he couldn't be bothered with my plight or my business at all. After having several contacts during my sojourn with the company, he was the absolute worse.
Then I met April and I remembered why I chose Brite Financial in the first place. She was warm, kind and friendly. She is extremely professional and I feel comfortable sharing my business with her and new address. She is a definite compliment to the company. Keep her!

If I could rate this company lower I would. My girlfriend was pigeonholed into using this company to finance her car. Every step of the way this company has inhibited us from working with them. It went so far as the manager Chris spoke to us and was very rude and belligerent. This company is the worst cesspool of human filth I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Let me put you on hold just to hang up on you. After you paid your payment, and cleared the payment with one of the operators on phone the day before. I knew I was being raped by them, but at least let me drive my car damn.
This morning I called into the CS department and Tamia helped me. I see a lot of negative reviews on about Brite Financial, every time I ve called in to speak about my account they have been nothing but kind to me. Tamia, thank you for being understanding and helpful. I m confused that people get upset when they owe money to a business. Treat people the way you want to be treated and maybe, hopefully, they will treat you with the same respect. Tamia, thank you so much for the help, you were great!
When I say this company is thee worst I have ever had to deal with they are awful. Customer service is a no go, disabled my car I told them to come and get it havent gotten here yet. I am going to sue the wheels off of them literally. Brite just so you know I serve a mighty God and one thing about Him is He doesn't play about His children. You all will reap what you sew sooner than later. Believe THAT!!!
Couple week ago I posted that they were very helpful and other things. Boy was I wrong. Not only was I sold a "lemon" as people say, I'm also getting no type of help in getting into a better vehicle. The power steering goes out on the car and GM had a recall on it. However, the title is salvaged, as I was informed by Chevrolet, so now I'm getting the run around as to what I should do to get this matter resolved. I was lied to by the salesman at the time when he sold me the car of multiple things, then my paperwork apparently was filled out wrong, and just so much that I'm paying for (I already complained to them about all of that at the Taylor location). They have helped me with billing issues but who seriously wants to pay for a car they can barely even drive? I'm sure the representatives or anyone else who works there wouldn't want to so why should I? I do it because I need a car but I would love to get some real assistance here! Not get bounced around to place to place just to be told some bs! It's not my fault I wasn't told the information needed. Not to sound entitled but I really shouldn't have this much trouble with getting into something better or whatever! If I gotta move onto another bank or whatever you want to call it then so be it because a lot of customer service representatives are rude sounding and are not helpful at all. It's only been one lady so far who has, at least, tried. The rest just act like they own the company or something when they are workers there as well. I won't stop until I get some help with this matter. This is way out of hand now!
I am giving four stars because their employee called me today and was very polite and professional. She was helpful and answered all my questions. Her name was India. You have a great representative.
Well, I've been a Carite customer for about 3 years and they have been good to me. I have been over two months behind on my car payments and they always work with me to keep the car. Their customer service is very good. So, whatever these people are saying below me must had a bad day. Idk. lol
I gave them 5 stars because they have been patient with me when i was behind the reps are very kind to me which makes me want to pay on time. They have been very good to me i have no complaints about them
I understand if a person is late on their payments but life happens. Brite Financial clearly does not understand this. I go to work everyday and have always paid on time. People fall behind and apparently they dont care. You dont ask a person to get a loan that they probably WONT be able to pay back and then when they get you tell them that doesn't matter. I because your at risk of escalation. I told them i am making the payment in full on Friday and yet, your word does not matter. I can not WAIT to get away from them. They don't care about your loyalty or the fact that you call and give them updates daily! The second im able to get out of this lease i am GONE. PLEASE DO NOT LEASE FROM THEM!! I will not recommend and if any one asks of a good leasing company this is not it. Have a great day!

I spoke with Kayla today. I had received a new debit card and needed to revise my information on my account with Brite Financial. My issue was resolved almost instantly and I was quickly sent the information needed to set up for reoccurring auto pay. I had a great experience. Thank you Kayla.
April is a life saver she actually listened to me didn't judge me helped me out with my situation. She has great customer service skills she actually does her job she called me and gave her extension to call her back if I had any questions or concerns. She is super awesome. I know if I need any help April is the one to call!
I give them a two stars because they accept about anyone, but the lease loan is outrageously overpriced might as well go to another dealer and buy a car out right. Talked to a represantive and told them I do not want them pull any money out of my account, and the next day because I did not " ask to stop auto payment" they still pulled it out and caused an overdraft fee. If you having issue with your credit and gone to every other dealer in your area and this was the last resort would be the reason I would recommend this scam.
Kimberly Etter in customer service was very professional and helpful. She thoroughly answered each question. She took the time to explain in detail with the most pleasant attitude every one of my concerns. I m certainly glad she was there to help. Brite Financial and customers are very blessed to have her as an agent.
Was signing a 2 year lease(I thought) and got a 4 year instead. The car is 14k but I have to pay 23k for it
If I honestly could leave 0 stars I would. Multiple times I have tried contacting a supervisor with no return phone call. Multiple times customer answer and are rude. This company has hidden fees in everything. Use a Credit Union before this company. Worst Company by far.
My fiance leased a car from them when he lived in Michigan. When we decided that he would move here to Virginia to go to school, work, and for us to get married he called to verify everything would be okay. He didn't realize that there's a portion in the lease stating he couldn't move to a state without a leasing location. Understandably we were frustrated but tried every possible route to rectify the situation. A location within driving distance but across state lines said they'd love to help but it would have to be approved by higher ups. We spent weeks talking to Brite trying to get approval. First their phone lines have been messed up for weeks making it impossible to talk to people. It's incredibly sketchy and unprofessional to not be able to receive any incoming calls from clients and make people wait days for a call back. I had one 'nice' customer service agent Shana act like she was willing to help then lie to me about calling me back and ignored our calls for days. They offered 0 alternatives and were completely unwilling to help us. They also jacked up the buy out price so much that even after over a year of faithful payments the buyout price they provided was still $5,000 more than the worth of the car! Ridiculous. Even when we traded it in to a dealership then wouldn't even talk to Ford after they owned the car to finalize things. This company preys on those with poor credit by forcing them to stay in a vicious cycle of debt. Predatory and disgusting. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
RUN FAR AS YOU CAN!!! Rude customer service and HIGH interest on HIGH MILEAGE CARS!!! And not to mention they don t even tell you that it s a 48 month LEASE. Tricked me into thinking I was financing the vehicle whole time it was the biggest finesse!

Worse place ever they hang up on you, very disrespectful to the point you wanna have the company's staff completely replaced, don't listen when you speak and try to correct you as if you don't know what you're talking about. Like the account isn't in your name. I recommend nobody EVER use this company.
Although some reps are helpful, the info given during lease and lease end is based information. I would never use them again. Our new vehicle was purchased using Capital One financial, and we are very pleased with them so far.
They will deactivate your car after one day . then repo it a month later . then sue you after they been making money off it for the last 2 years . good luck
