Nice place with good choice of menu. Car parks quite small but there's parking on the road outside. Went at Wednesday lunchtime, it was quite busy but didn't wait long to be served. Would go again.

Great food, lamb was beautiful, lovely staff very friendly. Only downside is I wish the quantity of vegetables was more generous

Great warm lil bolt hole from the cold nice fresh tasteful decor super friendly staff and waitresses also serving good hot home made food at Reasonable prices can't go wrong!

This is a firm favourite with us. Never disappoints. Nice ambiance, lovely staff and great food. All the usual British Classics, plus a specials board. Quality local produce used.

Fantastic for food, could do with a bigger bar area, but if its food ur after come here. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Nice ambience in homely surroundings but there didn't appear to be any air con and until they opened a fire exit door it was very warm and not pleasant.
The starters of mushroom on toast were gorgeous and we were looking forward to our mains of Chicken in peppercorn sauce and Cheese pie.
Unfortunately these did not live up to the quality of the starters and we're just average at best.. quite tasteless really.
On another positive note our waitress was lovely; very friendly and chatty.
To summarise, we enjoyed it but won't be going back as there are better all-round restaurants in the area.

I was stunned at the deco. Very lovely and nothing like a pub. The service was good and friendly.
Great choice of draught beer and an interesting menu of great choice.
What I wasnt happy with was the my meal. The veg was al dente, hard. The so called new potatoes weren't. The skins were tough and boring. My steak was perfect.
The sherry truffle was yummy.

One of the best pubs for food I've ever been to. It's great and highly recommended

Only stayed for a drink, nice interior but uncomfy chairs. Too noisy when sitting near the bar. Not very relaxing.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere.
Service was good and staff were very friendly.
Food is reasonable. Disappointed that it says hand cut chips on the menu but you end up with frozen ones. Also, I'd go as far to say that the Yorkshire pudding and roast spuds were frozen too.
The starters were very nice though (I had ribs) and the battered fish was nice.
The cappuccino I had was excellent. There aren't many pub restaurants that can get one right.
Reasonably priced too (if certain things weren't frozen).

Always enjoy my friends' company every month at this place. Really friendly and helpful staff to look after us with comfortable atmosphere

Have been eating here for many years. Never had a bad experience. The food and service are excellent and the place is always clean to a high standard. Would recommend as best place to eat for miles around.

3 of us visited each had a different meal all very good. THE ambience was just right and the restaurant was well decorated and bright. For a Wednesday lunchtime there was a lot of customers. We will definitely go again
