They take advantage of people who are trying to build their credit by scaming you and taking your money. I was lead to beilieve that I would be getting my security deposit back once my lease was done, however they hit me with a $500 re-marketing fee that I was never made aware of. Complete scam of a company.

Their customer service representatives are rude and they seem to not so any empathy toward your situation or circumstances. I've been with them for 3+ years. I currently owe them less then $1000 for my vehicle. They deactivate my car for being 31days late. I know...I know... you're probably thinking "well you're 31 days late" but i owe less the $1000. They could at least cut me some slack. I informed them that they'll be paid in less then a week, and they still didn't seem to care. I can't wait until I'm done with them. THEE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!

for my personal experience with Brite financial services for the past two and a half years was not good but once I started working with a representative named April she kinda turned my Outlook when it comes to them being humans and them understanding how it is to be in a situation with a payment of your car. She really has has had a great impact on me and I feel she's doing a great job and she should get a raise.

I received the best help from Shaina at Brite Financial, she helped break down my purchase payoff balance and answered all the complicated questions I had about my account. I haven't always had that level of good of customer service from a Brite representative before. I am happy I was able to have Shaina assist me!! She is the best!!
My positive review is only for the help from her, not my opinion of Carite or Brite Financial.

I ve been with the company for the last past 2 1/2 years I will be done paying my car payment off this year up until this day I have had great customer service until I ran into the guy in customer service name (((Will)))he was so rude When he got on the phone He already had a attitude As if he was having a bad day at work And I understood because we all have bad days at work So I continue to stay on the phone because I believe maybe it will get better when he see that my attitude was great and I still was going to be nice to him rather he has a attitude or not But it got worse I would ask him a question and he would just sit there and not say anything And then huff and puff like I did something to him???? so I say hello are you still there And he would have attitude and say yes ma am so I ask could I speak to a supervisor and he told me no one is available then I asked could I speak to someone else other than him he put me on a brief hold and came back and said no one else is available and can he further assessment Then I hung up and and called back five minutes later and he answered my call again just sad that the ppl like that representing their company But he will have to deal with that in life treat people how u want to be treated

I had a couple of rude representatives, then got one representative name Juanita and she has always been the most helpful and pleasant person I had to ask her how can I rate her customer service and she is so humble that she really didn't want to tell me but I convinced her to send the link THANK YOU Juanita for being who you are.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are extremely rude and will not return phone calls. I have dealt with all of the Lead Staff and have not had any better luck. I have turned in the car that I purchased with them and am still dealing with the terrible consequences years later. Beware, this is not a company you want to do business with!!!!!

I spoke to a representative name Toni the other day, she was absolutely amazing. The customer service here at Brite financial is 5 stars. Even though I do not have a vehicle yet with this company I am working on doing so. She was able to answer every question I had and also delivered really great information about Brite that made my decision easier. I have 2 friends that have vehicles with this company and I'm happy about becoming a customer as well. 5 stars to Brite

I've never had a bad experience with them personal...

I've never had a bad experience with them personally, but I'm giving them a 5 star review because their customer service has been so helpful, understanding and lenient with me during this covid crisis. I've had to make several (more than I'd like to admit) payment arrangements with them these past few months due to the fact I took a hard hit financially and they are allowing me to take the time to catch up.
I can't recall everybody's name but they are always helpful and go above and beyond. The first lady I had talked to actually had a brief conversation with me when the pandemic first hit and wished me well and to stay safe which was more than I could ask for.
Another lady went out of her way and told me that I can call back to extend my payment period but to make sure I call before that set date since the company is strict about it, due to me finding work again and waiting for my first paycheck.
I'm almost caught up now and hopefully wont have to make anymore arrangements, but I'm so glad I was able to communicate to such a caring and understanding team. I wish I could thank them personally!

Poorly trained customer service, rude, unprofessional, liars, scammers!! Company is only affiliated with car rite but claims not to be, they have had legal issues in Texas and Michigan! Im filing a class action lawsuit here in Wisconsin... I suggest everyone make a better business bureau report and get this place closed for good!!!

I have spoken with some nice representatives, however the entire company is scam. They repoed my vehicle when I paid on time and actually a month ahead in my payments. They insured my vehicle without my permission and I have full coverage insurance already and tried to charge me for the insurance through them. Having a hard time getting my vehicle back from them. Even though me and my insurance company has been repeatedly talking to them about their mistake. I would never advise you to use this company to get a vehicle. They are frauds.

Even when you have insurance they add it and make you pay for theirs, they gave me an original buy out of $365 at the end of my lease well when the lease ended they changed the buyout to over $3,000 and then took the vehicle when I couldn t pay it right then and there. Avoid this place and their lease if you can as it is a scam and fraud

Doesn't even deserve one star. Go somewhere else if you don't want to be double charged than told to deal with it. Than still have to pay the next week payment where they literally get a free payment out of you. Or have them return a payment where you get hit with charges from your bank and them. Then shut your car off so you miss work because of their mistake. Don't get raped, robbed, or screwed out of your money. Go somewhere else.

Unfortunately my review is not good either, however I would like to say that Alyssa is by far the best customer service rep at Brite Financial that I have dealt with and from the other reviews that I read I can definitely understand why customers only deal with representatives such as Alyssa. She is very understanding and doesn't make you feel less of a person if there are issues, and will work with you to rectify any issues...hence "GOOD QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!"
I would say that Brite Financial Services need a "Re-Set" button to go back and truly understand what Customer service is really all about. I am positive that alot of us have been mislead when it came to this so called "lease-situation." If Brite Financial Services ever operated out of integrity...my advice would be to go back because at this point, your "Cons is definitely outweighing your Pros.!"

Worse company I've EVER DEALT WITH! Poor customer service, no one knows anything, and if you're trying to reach anyone specially good luck cause you will do nothing but play phone tag. You will get sent all around because no one knows a thing! It's a scam, their interest rates are off the wall! Do not do business with them! They are worth a -1 in ratings.

Brite financial employs degenerate customer service reps who are completely unprofessional and just plain rude. Car Rite's salesman are to blame as they will take advantage of anyone who walks in the door.

I wish I could give a negative star to this company. They claim they will work with you but they never do. I get different information every single time I call to discuss my account. Not to mention I will be paying for my car almost 3 times by the end of my lease. If I want to purchase my car before my lease is up just to be done with them I will have to pay what I started my lease out with.....I am on my third year of my lease and have one more year to go but yet my buyout is the purchase price minus a thousand. If you want to pay triple the amount of what your car is worth and continue to get different information every time you call then this is the company for you. They pride themselves on helping the unfortunate but they have done nothing but made my life a living hell, with no help at all. If my credit wasn't so good now I would get rid of this company yesterday. I am stuck for one more year of hell. Please do yourself a favor and find another company.

Brite financial and Carite is the worst people to do business with. All they care about is taking your money and not providing good quality customer service. They charged me $488.81 a month for a 2015 Ford fiesta. I would understand if I had a BMW or a Cadillac for that monthly price but thats too high for a small car. I got into a car accident on 10/11 of this year and they don't associate with anybody where you can take your car to get fixed due to them not doing their job. The insurance company nor brite financial never contacted me telling me that my car is a total loss when they told me they'll contact me from 5-10 business days. If you are reading this listen loud and good they are scammers and i would not ever recommend ANYONE to do business with them. And their customer service is horrible also. So head this warning. And don't go to any of their locations in the state of michigan.

I really love my car and hate to pay all of the interest rate for the car but at this point I have to because I did not do proper research. Most of their customer service reps are terrible - Well except James - he actually provided very good service today but most of the time - it is the worst. I hope that I get James whenever I call because the others - mostly women are rude - paid my bill - spoke with a rep and she forgot to not my account - I get in the car - its cut off. They don't even apologize for their error- I have been told well you should have paid on time - I have had the car a year so they see my payment history has been bi-weekly but they could care less. They don't really care about customers but maybe James will be different. He gave great service this morning. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Connie is awesome...The representative at Brite Financial truly help me out. I had an issue with my mileage which was in kilometers at the time and it read very high. I spoke to Connie one day on a Friday she said she would call me back Saturday and she did and she walked me through how to reset my mileage in two miles and not kilometres which I knew nothing about. She stuck to her word which she did not have to do and I really do appreciate her.

If I could give a 0 stars I would. Its hard enough to go through a divorce and get your car repo-ed, but to call and inquire about what exactly is still owed and getting attitude as if my call is a bother or I personally owe the customer service rep money is ridiculous. Not only are the interest rates out of this world, but they leave you in the dark thereafter and have issues with their customer service. Don't do business with them.

This is by far the WORST company to finance through! No one ever calls back! I have spoken with some nice representatives, however the entire company is scam. They say you owe a certain amount, but on your credit report the amount is much higher. I was informed that after 1 year of on time payments I would be able to trade my lease out for a new vehicle. That is not true! I want out of this lease soooo bad or at least a different vehicle.

Update: 6/20/2019

I traded out my vehicle and went with a different financial institution. I would not recommend leasing through Brite financial at all. However, Juanita J. Is truly amazing. She showed empathy during my tough situation. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great representative for the company. I mean literally if I could give her a bonus personally I would. Honestly, if I didn't run across financial difficulties I would have probably finished my lease out with Brite.

Don t use either company brite financial will not negotiate payments they would rather repossess your vehicle than work with you. They are horrible, they haven't been posting my payments or uploading it to my credit report, I got my car last year, they only posting my payments to my credit report from February to August and that's it! They are missing 7 months Worth of payments on my credit report and when I went to talk to somebody they were just rude and acting like they do not care.

This is one of the most horrible companies that you could ever encounter! Customer service is a joke because one rep says one thing while another says something completely different. Even though I paid I remaining balance they still took a payment automatically. (stating I had to sign a form to stop auto pay) and they add on extra money so watch out!!! I called one day because my vehicle was "disabled" at the time I did not know it was disabled and the rep I spoke with I asked him how can I tell if my vehicle was shut off, he got smart and said because it wont start, I said, ok but will my battery work? he said yes. I said Ok how would I know that my car is disabled can you tell me are you able to see? He said yes you are disabled... I got offended and said ok, well what needs to happen to get me back running, he said hold on, while he was doing his checks I said (to my self) this is some B.S. I said the real words however. When I said that the agent said maam if you curse at me one more time I will disconnect the call. I said sir I never cursed at you, I said that this is some B.S. he said you know what and Disconnected the call. First of all that was unprofessional, he was out of line and very rude, I am sitting in my car that I pay for every 2 weeks, and because I was late on my payment and forgot 1 payment he treated me like a person who is always late or something. I called and spoke with another rep and she said his name was Erick. Well Erick is a mess... Seriously I was late to work and everything cause of ERICK...

P.S. Dont try to get my review removed and say that I am not a real customer or you dont have any record, If you think I would leave my real name on a review where I am still utilizing the services YOU ARE CRAZY!.

They have worked with me and my payments. I'm so grateful for this company and their employees.. it has truly been an amazing experience! I strongly recommend them!

I don't even want to leave 1 star I would like to leave a -0! I purchased A 2007 Caddilac SRX from Car-Rite on 14 mile in Madison Heights about 2 years ago since then my car has been in the repair shop more than I have driven it, I was sold a lemon! My car has an electrical wiring problem where my car has cut off on my family and me on the express way over three times one time we were almost run over by a semi truck Any way I was injured on my job and applied for a hardship April and a few other representatives over at BRITE FINANCIAL tried to not give me the hardship forgiveness on the remainder of my lease which happens to be over $11,000 I've alread paid over $18,000 dollars for this car and more for when it was put in the shop. The Blue Book value for my car is $7,000 in good running condition.The car is now sitting in front of my house broke down because the transmission went out and warranty expired! I spoke to James today and asked him could he send someone to come pick the car up ( they're charging me over $250 for repo fees just to tow it back to Car RITE) He was very rude and nasty I asked him how would he feel if I were his mother, sister or wife being treated this way? His reply " I never would have let them pay that much to lease a car!" I told him don't never say never! I wish I had of kept my hoopty I traded in for this " HEAD ACHE" of a vehicle I have now! By the way they are still charging me a carnote every week until they pick this car up! Now what kinda "Hardship" deal did I get? Car Rite is selling "flood and damaged" with less miles cars..because they're damaged and Brite Financial is helping them rip off unsuspecting consumers! When I get my final bill I will be filing a law suit against both companies! They will not help make your credit better they will however make your credit worse all for a vehicle you most likely wont be able to drive! I give the both 5 thumbs down!!! Don't do business with either company unless you have money to burn

Leasing to own this car has been a nightmare! I leased my vehicle with the option to pay off in 2013... It is now 2015 going on 2016. My car shutdown with a unknown 500 tacked on to my bill. I asked them how was that possible when I just paid the bill down to 545 and was making a payment in the next two weeks? So you tacked on 500 plus for two weeks and can't tell me where it came from. So I had to sign a disable form for them to cut the car back on but, it's the weekend so there is no telling when they will and I have to go work with no car. This company has hidden fees and done paying off the lease but the want basically 5k to release the title! Beware do not sign and drive!

I begin leasing a car from Car-rite in 2015. I was new to leasing or financing anything. CAR-RITE messed up my payment plan and now I am being penalized and charged additional money to pay off the car. Brite Financial knows CAR-RITE has been messing their customers up and they absolutely do not care!

I asked for the dates of these mysterious "missed" payments and theyre stemming from 2015. It's 2018!!! Are you DUMB! Why would yall wait til the car is in the process of being payed off to mention a fake payment.

To make MATTERS WORST, The staff is incompetent! The issue with them is that they think what they're saying is always right! Just like they can pull up a screen, so can I! I have every receipt since 2015! Do not play with me when it comes to MY money!

When you ask to speak with a Supervisor, theyre never available. I hope they go out of business! I promise you! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY, MONEY HUNGRY, LYING COMPANY!

DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM FOR FINANCING OR LEASING!! DO NOT GO THROUGH CAR-RITE EITHER! THEY ARE WORKING TOGETHER TO FINESSE MONEY FROM PEOPLE THAT WORKS HARD!

The representatives are polite and courteous, and very understanding when I have a difficult time make a payment. Today I was helped by Tiara she was well spoken and took care of me.

I hate giving these people 1 star. Horrible I have not had this car for a full month and it's going bad. They messed up my direct payment form which made us late and they never contacted us. I have called them over 20 times about insurance and I get something different. I have insurance and this company refuses to remove their insurance off my account. They send 3 texts per day saying I'm late these are fees from their insurance. I have faxed the insurance paperwork 3 times and they still refuse to remove it. I have contacted a lawyer. Do not use the company ever

I love Brite financial. They help me and answer any questions and are always nice ,They always talk to you with respect. I was on the phone with April and she was such a sweetheart towards me, caring, not rude, helpful, understanding, listened to me, answered my questions so I could understand, and ask around a very good person. Everyone I've talked to do far do their job very well . I recommend them to everyone !

I AM A PREVIOUS CUSTOMER OF BRITE FINANCIAL AND MY EXPERIENCE WAS A GOOD ONE. I LEASED A 2011 CHEVROLET MALIBU AND IT HAD MINOR ISSUES (TO BE EXPECTED FROM A USED CAR). THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS RESPONSIVE TO MY SITUATION THE COUPLE TIMES I HAD TO PAY LATE AND I WAS GRATEFUL. I WAS A LITTLE UPSET THAT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT I WAS LEASING AT FIRST BUT THAT WAS MY OWN FAULT FOR SIGNING PAPERWORK AND NOT READING IT FIRST. THE PAYMENTS ARE HIGH DUE TO INTEREST RATES BUT MY CREDIT WAS JACKED UP AND NOBODY ELSE WOULD GIVE ME A CHANCE. WHILE THIS COMPANY IS NOT PERFECT IT IS A SHOT WHEN I COULDN'T GET ONE FROM ANYONE ELSE. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT THE PROGRAM RULES AND EVERYTHING ARE SPELLED OUT IN THE CONTRACT AND I FOUND THAT OUT AFTER I HAD AN ISSUE WITH INSURANCE AND WAS REFERRED BACK TO MY CONTRACT BY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I HAD FINANCED OTHER CARS BEFORE (QUITE A FEW) AND HAD NEVER HEARD OF CHANGING A DUE DATE SO THE FACT THAT THEY WERE WILLING TO DO THAT FOR ME EVEN ONCE WAS VERY GENEROUS OF THEM. I NEVER HAD A LOT OF RUN INS WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT BECAUSE I PAID MY CAR NOTE ON TIME MOSTLY AND NEVER HAD TO CALL BUT WHEN I DID THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED WAS FAIR. WHAT IT BOILS DOWN TO IS IF YOU OWE THEM PAY THEM OR IF YOU CAN'T AND DON'T BE SURPRISED WHEN THEY CALL YOU 4 TIMES A DAY SINCE MOST OF THE CUSTOMERS HAVE HORRIBLE CREDIT. If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff sucks. They are rude, condescending, and call NON STOP even if you're only ONE DAY late. The job loss protection they have is an absolute joke, and after fighting with them for almost SIX WEEKS, I finally told them to just come pick this vehicle up. After I made arrangements for that, they called me as soon as I hung up to make a payment. What? No one reads notes, the staff lies and says "We never got a call from you" after I've spoken to them over FIFTY times in the last 4 weeks alone, and I've left voicemails on someone's personal machine, (that she never got either). If you don't answer the call the first time, they call your references and claim they didn't. Do yourself a favor and NEVER LEASE ANYTHING through this scheisty company!

Due to Covid-19 I was laid off of work and the company put an hold on my account. Over half of Americans been laid off. I got a call today saying I had to pay or they wouldn t be able to put another hold on the account. I expressed to them that I m not able to put food in my refrigerator and they still didn t work with me. I was ineligible for unemployment and my stimulus check still hasn t arrived. They are terrible, rude, and very unprofessional and ghetto. They will harass you until they get their money. If I could I would give them 0 stars.

Throughout my entire car journey with brite financial and car rite as a whole its 6een very rough, however one person on the brite financial team has stayed professional and thorough in her job and dealings with me and that is April. Not sure if i would have made through this rough situation without her, if she hasn't had one then April definitely deserves a raise and or promotion. However the car rite team as a whole should all be trained over in customer service and to be more thorough with the info they give to customers.

I have been with this company for 7 months and I HATE IT . FIRST off I didn't know that I was getting into a lease. Secondly they are incompetent people. I am so angry with carite for even scamming me with these people and I can't get out of this unless I get it repossessed. Be cautious when signing the contract because you don't own the car until after the rent payments are complete then you can purchase the vehicle with straight cash or finance it. This car was supposed to bring me joy but only to get HELL ONE star is too much and wish I can do negative 100. The worst place to have. The customer service sucks and it's hard to get a supervisor to call. I know you were trained to say that bs but I will keep calling and calling until I get heard and my resolution. Please get me out of this CONTRACT WITH THESE CROOKS

If it were possible to give this company no stars I would do so, this is the worst experience I have ever had. This company is full of thieves, scammers and charlatans. Whatever you do don't get a car from here it's not worth and I guarantee you will only live to regret it! Customer service is rude and nasty to you if you have to call in to speak with someone. The worst experience I've ever had financing a car. They're rude customer service workers will sometimes call 3 + 4 times a day sometimes when the payment isn't even due yet they are the worst. Legal team is harassing me about a balance owed on a lease. I don't care if I had $1000000 I wouldn't pay . Balance of the car when I went to buy it was $8,000 I put $1,700 down how do I still owe $10,000 after 2 years. I sent the car back I don't care I would rather walk than get a car from here.

I recommend Brite Financial to all my friends and family. The customer service has always been exellent, I recently had an issue with autopay and tiara handled it in just a few minutes. Brite provided financing for me when my credit score was literally non existent and after only a year and a half my credit rating has soared due to consistent reporting. Also, they offer multiple options for financing so I chose a plan that enables me to refinance after 12 months. Great plan, Great company.

Liars. I was told I was signing for a two year lease, and was handed papers for a four year lease. Stupid me, I should have read the encyclopedia-length terms and conditions in detail before signing instead of taking their word for it .. But I should have been able to trust them. So brokenhearted. About to be left with nothing and a large amoint of debt that could have been avoided if they'd been honest. But, of course, they dont care about that.
