This place only seems treat you well unless you're buying a bike. If you are there for gear, parts etc they are rude, condescending and dismissive.
I was in looking for cooler riding pants as I was about to tour down into the southern states, they pulled out these (albeit amazing) pants for 800. When I expressed I'd like to look for something a little cheaper the sales guy was like "well I don't know what you were expecting but this is the kind of money you need to spend on gear" then walked away and refused to help. I found similar pants at another place for 200...
They also own a monopoly on Triumph and they know it. We had to order parts from them, said it was "X" business days. It was several business days beyond the days they quoted me before we got our parts, no apologies, no explanation, no call to let us know there was a delay.
The last straw was trying to get them to put a new tire on a wheel we'd taken off the bike. All we needed was a new tire put on, a two second job, but apparently that takes 3-4weeks to do. We also got that done, that day, at another shop "no problem!"
I'm done going here, we call them A**hole cycle and the name fits.

How does an motorcycle shop that doesn't respond to Email or phone calls get a 4.4 rating....There's bad service and then there is this.

So I took the time to go there and see if I was wrong. Maybe the service is better on a Wednesday in person. The staff we helpful at the service desk. Unfortunately they didn't have what Im looking for.

I found it a GW cycle on sale. So there was happy ending.

You would think being a major Dainese dealer they would provide more of a warranty on an $800 jacket. Nope all I got from the guy after kinda rolling his eyes and disrupting his afternoon stroll through the shop was 'maybe these guys can help'. This is not the first time customer service sucks ass here. It shouldn't matter what someone buys here the customer service should be outstanding! So tired of the lack of enthusiasm and help. Time to clean house I think!

I recently purchased a motorcycle at Blackfoot and had exceptional service by Sales Specialist Rene' Fontaine. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the BMW line of bikes. He answered all of my questions succinctly (there were many) and worked through all of the concerns that I had. I liked that he was very patient with my decision making, gave me lots of space to ponder my 'big purchase' yet was always attentive and nearby to help out. Some of the fine print and advertised incentives that may or may not have been available due to the dealer registering the bike were a little daunting to work through but overall I had a great experience and really appreciated the work that Rene' did... Thank you!

I've had some bad experience's dealing with bike issues form day one of buying my bike . But every time I've had any success in sovleing any of the issues has been with dealing Mike Becker ! Mike is one person who so passionate and goes the extra mile for you. to help solve any problems or issues or even just give good advice when needed . In my personal experience, I think that this Industry needs more people like Mike Becker .

I recently had to do an out of province inspection and experienced an outstanding level of service at Blackfoot Motorsports - and would like to send kudos to one staff member in particular. Justin Swanson was knowledgeable, courteous and very efficient at handling the entire process. It was a pleasure to get some of my complicated paperwork dealt with efficiently and in good time. I will come back to this shop for future work if needed.

Big shout out to Blair with the sales staff he was awesome to deal with and easy to work with. Got me exactly what I wanted in the time frame he said and made the buying process simple. Finance department was quick and painless. All the staff I worked with from the cashier to sales were upbeat and friendly. My sales associate knew who I was the second I walked in and took time away from other possible sales to get me ready first. Top notch service. Mechanic bay is very clean and all the staff were very friendly. 4th bike I've purchased second one I've purchased brand new. Out of all the places I've been for bikes or maintenance this one is by far the best. Thanks again Blair for the service it was an awesome painless experience.

I would like to point out that the commercial parts department has been excellent to me over the past couple years. In particular Robert is always prompt, courteous and accurate. I appreciate the great service.

3 calls 3 different people.
(Plus 2 other calls to try and leave a message, 1 Vm, 1 message left with reception... I did get a call back... straight to my vm.. I called back... which was my third call... )
Each call 30 minutes.., and each call ending in different instructions on how or where to send photo copies of my credit card (both sides) and my drivers licence... and finally a PDF form to be printed and filled out and sent back before parts would be ordered.
They obviously don t want to sell parts by phone or online.
I went to Fortnite, found the parts, paid by credit card 10 minutes total.
And people wounder why more and more people are ordering on line instead of through dealers.

Really modern and contemporary. Lots of selection, bought my bike here and great service on that end. Apparel side is well stocked, online sales guy is awesome however his partner not sure of the name is kind of luke warm. This is my experience twice now, Once he realised I was there to actually buy became really helpful. The online guy was way friendlier and seemed interested in me as a customer before finding out I was there to buy. Not a bad experience you can't beat the selection just a little of feedback to make the experience better. Oh the cashier's and parts people are super awesome.

Very dishonest. I went to buy a bike. Put a 500 deposit on the bike. Wife said no. I went to get the deposit back next day. They refused to give me my money back and wouldn't even give me in store credit to get a helmet and other stuff. Will never go back here. Careful if you give them any money. Very dishonest. Also found out their prices are very high even compared to other dealerships. I bought a bike a year later from Suzuki Motorsports and had a great experience.

Please read this review and take it to heart. I was BLOWN AWAY by the service that I received from Blackfoot. I bought a used bike in May of this year. Bike looked great, ran great, couldn't have been happier with the purchase. The used bike came with the 30 day warranty, and I had no issues until about 90 days after purchase.
There was a small electrical problem, that only manifested after this time, and a long road trip. I contacted Blackfoot and they couldn;t have been more helpful. Even though I was well outside the warranty window, they stood by their product 100 percent. They could have easily told me that I was out of lick, instead they even offered to make arrangements for pick up and drop off because I lived out of town. They even made it a priority so I wouldn't miss any more riding days.
I live in Edmonton, and will make the trip back to Calgary in a heartbeat when it comes time to buy another bike. I have already brought another friend there and he too has bought a used bike from them.
If you are from out of town, don't let that scare you. These guys do GREAT business and will make sure that you get the service and product that you want, need and love.
These guys wrote the book on service.

Arrived at 9:30am, picked out a 2018 KLR650, agreed on price, chose the Kawi promo financing, picked out a Klim jacket and pants. After 4 hours of hanging around, had to track my salesman down only to be told the system was down and they couldn't do the sale until Monday. Called another dealer, agreed on same price, will pick the bike up on Tuesday. Many other friendly people there in all the other departments, all helpful. The girl, forgotten her name, that helped me pick out the Klim jacket and pants was top notch. They should really consider moving her to the bike sales floor. Checked on me a couple of times while I tried on gear, answered all my questions and would have had a $1000 sale if it hadn't been for the bike debacle. Was very seriously considering buying the clothing for her sake but no way after being left hanging for 4 hours. The parts people asked me each time I wandered in if they could help me. For gear and parts, highly recommended. For bikes, not so much.

Response: Your version of events is interesting as I received a call from your lender at around 4pm that day letting me know everything was set. Without telling him any details I asked him what happen and who was keeping who updated. All I can say is his and your versions are quite different. Systems go up and down and that is a fact of life but the communication piece seemed broken.

Have purchased 4 bikes through Blackfoot over the past 5 years (and there's a reason). As a woman, I trust their mechanics to be honest and transparent with me and not take advantage of my lack of knowledge in that area. Service is always very accommodating to me and all the guys are great to deal with on any issue. Sales guys - specifically the BMW guys from whom I've purchased are fantastic. Latest purchase was a 2017 K1600GT for my husband. From start (building and ordering the bike) to finish Simon Armstrong was patient, helpful, knowledgeable and generous with his time (even on days off) to make sure we got what we wanted and were happy with what we purchased - and there were lots of questions throughout this process! And finishing off the deal paperwork etc. was a breeze thanks to Justin. As we are now a BMW family, we are happy that we get to deal with the folks at Blackfoot to look after our "kids".

Coming from a vast family of motorcyclists. Three generations and a family owned Triumph dealership in the UK. I would definitely recommend and support Blackfoot motorsports. I ordered a ADV jacket during the Covid19 outbreak and unfortunately the sizing wasn't correct and because of my mistake they happily said they would refund me fully without question.. ! Quality shops like this are a forgotten memory. Blackfoot are motorcyclsts that work for other riders. Keep up the good work ...!

Most of the employees I ve dealt with over the last 5 years have an elitist attitude and don t answer questions very well. Parts they told me will take 3 weeks took 4 months. Installed tire backwards on rim. One young sales guy tried talking me into buying a liter bike so I could be as cool as him and his super charged Chrysler ..

I started dealing with Blackfoot after not getting anywhere with the dealership in Edmonton. After a few conversations over text with the sales team I was able to get the deal down on paper. Rahul notified me right away as soon as the bike arrived. This was my first new bike and the process was all new to me but Rahul and Linley were amazing and helped me through every step and answered all my questions through multiple emails. Despite picking the bike up on a busy Saturday, they made sure to make me feel comfortable and took their time going over the paperwork. Dorian was also great at explaining the bike and going over the features during the walk through. I was very impressed with the service I received by Rahul, Linley and Dorian, they were all fun and professional to deal with. I would (and have) recommended them and Blackfoot to friends and family. Worth the short drive, I will definitely be back!

Had a tough time with the write off of my Ninja. Jeff the service guy was very nice about everything, communicated with me clearly and helped me understand the situation. Ron Newman helped me get a new 2019 Ninja zx6r to replace my old one. This is the 2nd ninja I have bought from Blackfoot. Really appreciate the way they treated me. The walk through guy was very helpful. Had a good time running through the bikes changes since my old one was 2013. Very patient, good guy. Definitely happy that I went back to Blackfoot. They really took care of me and appreciated my concerns and helped me get back on the road. Thank you so much! Will definitely be back. Ordered a helmet from parts and it came within a few days, no issues. Thank you everyone, I am super happy.

Amazing customer service!

My order was shipped to my billing address instead of the shipping address. Braydon notified me and was very diligent in correcting this mistake. They were able to work with me to strategize and develop a solution for this issue.

First of all, they were able to price match my pitbull stands that I ordered, which was listed at a lower price at one of their competitors. Second, they were able to ship me my stands for free with express 1 day shipping. Then they refunded me for the other item that was sent to the wrong address.

Will definitely be coming back and these guys have my business on future purchases!

There I is was stuck in Ashcroft BC needing a gasket for my 2003 K1200GT Beamer. With BC dealers all closed on Mondays, I call the service boys at Blackfoot. What a joy to deal with. Jeff, the service manager, asked a senior technician if he happen to have the gasket that I needed as the part folks said it would be while before they got one in. Low and behold.... he did. They shipped it out the next morning and Boom-chuk-a-lunga I am back in the saddle ride'n high.

I have been a customer of Blackfoot Motosports for many, many years, having purchased a number of dirt bikes there for both myself and my sons as they were growing up, and street bikes for myself. I have always received excellent, knowledgeable and respectful service from Blackfoot.

To name a few, it just doesn't get any better than dealing with Joe, Ron, and Cynthia in sales, Andrew in clothing, Mike in parts, Justin and Jeff in service...all of them are great people and always seem to want to help, whatever it takes. I just named a few but honestly, all the Blackfoot staff have treated me well, every time I have been in there (like that wizard kid they keep back in service, that can buff a scuff mark/paint discolouration off a bike and make it look better than new...never got his name, lol).

As an example, my son and I were in today to discuss a concern he had on a recently purchased street bike. We went to the service bay and asked to speak to the Triumph mechanic. The fella behind the counter didn't even blink, he just went and got him for us. The mechanic (Jeff) came out to talk with us, listened to my son's concern, took his bike for a test ride, spent at least 15 minutes talking about the bike with us and also spent at least another 15 minutes with the bike in his bay checking it out. Jeff invited us back to his work bay to show us what he was checking, and explained it all in good detail. My son received knowledgeable advice from him, delivered in a very respectful and polite manner. When we were done my son tried to get Jeff to write up a work order for the time he had spent (so he could pay for it) but Jeff wouldn't hear of it. His only reply was "you bought the bike here and we want you to be happy with it". THAT is why I always go to Blackfoot first, for any of my biking needs - the friendly service that they have always provided me, in all of their departments.

I have bought bikes from other dealers over the years and it has been my experience that none of the shops in Calgary can compete with Blackfoot's overall service level in all of the various departments. I could write a book on all of the good experiences I have had with Blackfoot Motosports, never had a bad one, ever.

It is the reason why I always think of them first for any of my biking needs. If Blackfoot can match a competing dealer's price on a new bike (or even get close for that matter), I will always buy from them.

I do not get it?! I call to order parts. When the receptionist answers, everytime, I get placed on hold before I get to say a word. Then after waiting on hold to boring music, the reception gets back on the call, I ask to speak to parts and is told 'my parts guys are busy at the moment, can I take your number and have them call you back'. I never get a call back. This us why I just order stuff online. I try supporting local business but the service suck. Sorry, hire people to respond to the phone calls or have people available to service your potential customers. You have lost credibility with me and my business.

I've been riding about 9 years now and I'm on my third bike a Yamaha MT-09, I purchased from Blackfoot. Tyler the sales person was excellent to work with, got me a fair deal on the bike and even followed up a few times to see how I'm enjoying it. The service was so impressive I also purchased a fully Akropovic exhaust system some time after from them, and the Parts/ Accessories guy Mike was stellar, and got me the best price on the market for the exhaust. 5 Stars all around.

Been buying bikes from Blackfoot since the 1970's (dirt bikes to Gold Wing, several Hondas, KTM 950, and three BMW's). Wow, that's over 40 years! Keep going back because they just have the best, consistent, professional business. Even helped me ship two BMW's to Australia! Great product, solid staff, reliable shop and authentic customer relations that always make me comfortable, no matter who I talk to.

My experience start when I met Tobias Langer in the BMW section of Blackfoot Motorsports. Tobias showed me a 2019 BMW F750GS fully loaded lowered model. This was the one for me. He passed me over to Simon Armstrong(Sales Specialist)we then went to financing (Tabitha Becker)and the rest is history. This weekend I went to pick up my dream bike from Blackfoot Motorsport. A BMW R nine T. Simon A. is the man that made that dream come true! From the day I contacted him until the bike was loaded in the trailer ready to go, Simon A has been very responsive, helpful and paid attention to every detail and need I had! Simon truly lives to the expectation one may have when buying a BMW and really went the extra mile!
Dave S. took care of me on the finance side. Great guy! Extremely helpful. He guide me thru all the paperwork and had everything set up for a prompt process since I was from way up North.
The entire staff at Blackfoot Motorsport has been very helpful and truly made this experience one of a kind! Life time memory!

Blackfoot really smoothed out a rough patch in our recent trip from Victoria, BC to Winnipeg. During our return our KLR had fatal issues, leaving us in a serious bind, with little time before we both had to be back at work. Blackfoot fast tracked analysis of the KLR and worked quickly with us to resolve our travel dilemma once we realized it was going no where soon.

After exploring several alternatives, we decided to trade what was left of the KLR on a new F800 gs. The bike was built and paperwork completed quickly and efficiently. The new bike got us home on schedule.

Blackfoot made a difficult situation easier with their attention to our concerns, their patience with our questions and their extra effort in getting us back on the road in a timely manner. They even handled shipping our panniers back home for us. Special thanks to Ron, Jason, Jeff, Erik, Darren & Cynthia. They all took a personal interest and helped make the experience a great one.

So disappointed! Not the best place to shop for Ladies' Apparel. Although they are the only Calgary dealer for Dainese, when I visited the store on Sept 21 they did not have a single pair of Dianese ladies' textile pants that they could show me. The saleswoman indicated that it was the end of the season but there were racks and racks of pants - all for men! She also indicated that I could order online, but there is only one leather pair on the website and the Returns page specifies a 25% restocking fee on special orders. I'm not going to risk $100 on a product I have to order sight-unseen. For comparison, Argyll in Edmonton is also a Dianese dealer and they have the full product catalog on their website and samples of most items in store. You can return items for the cost of postage. I will be buying both the pants and a rainsuit within the next 30 days, but not from Blackfoot. This is unfortunate, because their sales and service on the motorcycle side has been excellent. Before I would go back to Blackfoot for clothing, I would want to see samples out on the floor and most definitely a full product range in the online catalog.

I had located a used bmw top case from an earlier ...

I had located a used bmw top case from an earlier year than my bike and took it into the accessories counter to see if it would fit. The guys were great they determined that the case would mount ok and as it needed a lock they did a lot of research to determine the correct lock barrel it needed and then rekeyed it for me while I waited. They only charged me for the lock barrel, the small key parts they gave me from their surplus stock and their time was free. Outstanding service, thanks Guys.
