Paul-Antoine, Simon, and Dave are the greatest to work with I always look forward to them helping me when I go to Blackfoot. Otherwise I think overall the place could work on some efficiency with getting customers through faster whether it's buying a bike or parts but overall usually find what I need.

Dropped off two tires with my rims for installation. Tires were installed, balanced and ready to be picked up the next day as promised. Motorcycle service in Calgary typically falls somewhere between mediocre and Olympic level incompetence, but the service shop seems a cut above at Blackfoot. I called two other independent shops closer to where I live, and the first one said they don't install tires bought online, and the other quoted two hours at their hourly shop rate to install and balance two tires(!!!) and seemed less than thrilled to do the work regardless.
Just purchased a Yamaha Xsr900 from Blackfoot Motorsports and couldn t be happier! Excellent staff, made the whole process easy and painless. Very big shout out to Dorian, He is a very knowledgable fellow and explained things very clearly. He is a master at his craft. I would also like to take the time to thank Wone Yip, Tabitha, Linley and Renee as well! Exceptional customer service skills and exceeding my expectations. I will only deal with Blackfoot motorsports and no one else.
Parts department is great. They always dig through to find whatever obscure part your looking for. Sale is another story. I own KTM, several of them. None were purchased through Blackfoot because the sales staff ignore me. For people who make commission, Im surprised that they dont seem to care if there is a potential customer standing at a motorcycle for 15 minutes checking it out (Hint hint, if someone is at the point where they are going to go into a shop, they have already pretty much decided which bike they want). Sales people should help people get the machine they want, not ignore them and talk amongst themselves.
Very knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to help. Ron, Danika, Meghan, Casey and George are the best in the business from bikes to apparel there is no better place
Andrew and his team in 'Street' are some of the best people you will find anywhere. Outrageously knowledgeable and courteous, they consistently at least in my case do that much more to ensure the experience is first-rate. Most recently Andrew went to great lengths to help me with a factory defect on a premium helmet; resolving the issue brilliantly. Weekends, evenings, day or night, that guy will call or SMS simply to give you the play-by-play and offer some coaching of his own on process; never a dull or unkind moment. All that said, look in any direction once you arrive and you will very likely be met with a friendly smile and full support. Ron N., Megan, Carly, Mike, Jay, Pat et al. treat my friends and I like family. Now I just have to find another reason to get back there!
Amazing amazing amazing. So fast at shipping across Canada and their sales team are an amazing caring and helpful team. They go above and beyond to help and keep you informed. True Canada company. Cheers
10/10 service. I went here in winter to buy motorcycle, Harsh from sales helped me with the picking and the buying process of my new bike, he also kept in touch through social media to answer all of my questions regarding the bike. Harsh pretty much walk me through the entire process. Ended up buying a Yamaha MT09.
Ultimately my experience with Blackfoot was a good one. There was an issue around communication with my sales person in the beginning that really made me worried about giving them my business. However, once Jason Mitchell caught wind of the trouble he and his staff went out of their way to try and make it up to me. They made good on their promises and delivered the bike I wanted. (I should mention that the bike I was after was pretty hard to find, but they came through even after the messy start.)
I was impressed that they took the time to walk me through the features of the bike, gave me a tour of the shop and let me know about various things I otherwise wouldn't have been aware of. I felt valued as a customer and will strongly consider Blackfoot when I buy accessories, or when I shop for my next bike. My only regret is not going to speak with Jason sooner.
I'm not giving full stars simply because the experience could have been smoother, but like I said, I'm actually pretty happy with the outcome and I would recommend Blackfoot to others. I was a bit of a tough customer since I had a very specific bike in mind and wasn't willing to settle for anything else. I also tend to be slow to forgive, so I think it speaks volumes that Blackfoot was able to win me back over. Good job guys.
My experiences have been awful. For over 25 years I've attempted to purchase bikes, parts, & gear here, but each time I've been so disappointed with the customer service that I've never completed a sale.
EDITED TO INCLUDE REPLY TO OWNER S RESPONSE: The apparent customer-blaming attitude in your response gives me some insight into why my experiences at Blackfoot have been so disappointing. I assure you I m an actual customer, & also very easy to please. 3 simple things would ve allowed me to provide a much more positive review: 1) acknowledge me when I shop your showroom, 2) return my calls to your parts & service departments, and 3) don t lose my registration when I try signing-up for GS training. Easy!
I would like to share my personal experience with this company and especially appreciate an extremely high client-orientation attitude and support of salesman Harsh Mishra. I had a trade-in deal. Harsh provided my with honest and valuable information about next bike, offered me a fair market price for current bike and helped me to plan the delivery. During the delivery there were several issues, but Harsh personally dived into the situation, and exceeding my expectations, provided me with a fast positive solution. Again many words of gratitude for his support and engagement.
Ordered a part from them a week ago, when I got it I could see it didn t fit, these things happen, no big deal. I brought the part back in, stood in line for 20 minutes to be told that they won t take it for an exchange for the right part as it was under $50. I was about to order a few more parts while I was there, and needed to purchase more over the next few months for a bike build. It s $40, but the fact they burned me over it so happily leaves a bad taste, I will not be buying more parts from Blackfoot and will encourage my friends and family to do the same. 2* as the parts guy was decent, his superior was not.
Good quality at adequate prices. Able to find some accessories for the motorcycle and self. Able to get OEM parts for my 2003 moto. Some on delivery status. Oh ya also they have a big motorcycle showroom. That's enjoyable.
Premier showroom for motor bikes and gear and apparel. The have brick and mortar location and online store as well, you can find some reasonable deals for the convenience.
Always a struggle. Parts staff are clueless and less than helpful. Called before coming and told they had what I needed. Arrived to be told would have to order. Get three different people to check before finding out they do indeed have what I need. Should the ONLY Vespa dealer in town not at least be familiar with the current models available......Poor........
The worst motorcycle dealership in Calgary - which is a feat in itself. I bought a used 2012 Yamaha XT from these clowns. The sales guy insisted it was fuel injected - even after I showed him the choke and then factory specs on the bike. I went back to order a disc brake from them. I made the classic error of assuming the part I got was the one I ordered so I mounted it. It was indeed the wrong part. I tried to take it back and it took over 30 minutes of arguing with their staff to return it.
I had a mix up on an order of wheels I placed. I ended up getting 4 front wheels instead of the 2 rear I needed. Mike Becker personally went out of his way to make sure I got the proper wheels I needed in time for the weekend. From mix up to delivery of the new wheels was under 4 hours. Very happy with the customer service and respect given
Awesome service and awesome staff. If you are looking to purchase a new motorcycle or just getting new gear then blackfoot is the place I would recommend. The staff here are passionate about the sport and helping out their customers.
Bought a new KLR 650 from Blackfoot Motorsports. Great staff. Very happy to purchase my bike there. George Lowel was my sales representative. He was awesome. Very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns I had. Great customer relation skills. Thanks for your help and great service! Would definitely recommend this place to buy a new bike from.
amazing service, not pushy, awesome selection. In particular, Tyler Leblanc was knowledgeable, honest, likable, and inspired trust. I bought my bike with less than 20 minutes of chatting with Tyler to get the answers I needed to make my decision.
Super friendly and welcoming environment. Feels like family and brings you a level of confort when you walk through the doors. I have purchased many bikes from Salesman Ron Newman over the years and he has always gone above and beyond!
Ask for David Anderson. Great salesman. Actually doesnt try to push you into buying stuff. Very friendly. Finance manager Cynthia is awesome too. So friendly you'll want to stay there just to chat with her.
I just recently spent some time talking to David about buying a Triumph bike and was very impressed with how quick he was to answer all my questions and concerns. I really got the feeling that he was just trying to help me find the best deal possible, not that he was trying to "make a sale". I highly recommend Blackfoot and David if your are looking to get a motorcycle!
Blackfoot motorsports you are great !! your staff is very kind and helpful for each of our visit. Thank you Jason for helping me and me wife get two bikes you are great and your knowledge is amazing
Some of the best service I have received. I ordered a jacket from them on eBay, and it turns out they didn't have the exact color/size I wanted. Of course, I had waited until the last minute and was leaving on a trip. They sent me a brand-new jacket to wear on the trip, then cheerfully exchanged it for the color and size I wanted when I got back. What could have been a sour experience instead had me applauding their commitment to customer satisfaction.
I bought a new BMW F700GS this year and couldn t be happier. My salesman was Simon and his helpfulness and attention were far beyond expectation. As a female with relatively little riding experience in a male dominated past time, Simon spent a lot of time during several visits to the store while I was deciding which bike would suite me best. I never felt rushed and he was always attentive. He introduced me to Toby in the service department who instructs the GS off road course. I took the course this year and I can t say enough about the patience and professionalism shown by all the Blackfoot staff. My husband (and riding partner) injured his knee requiring surgery early in the season and hasn t been able to ride with me so I ventured out on my own for some short rides. When Simon found out that I haven t been able to get out as much as I d like due to not having a riding partner he insisted on taking me out and discovering some nice (gravel) back roads in the foothills and Kananaskis. It s obvious that Simon has a passion for motorcycles, his job and catering to his customers. Thanks Simon!
Bit of a bike novice but the friendly service from blackfoot was unreal. Special mention to Simon. Super knowledgeable and took his time to give me 5 star service. Definitely be back when I can!
Stopped in to look for a new jacket, not really understanding the difference in quality and price points. Taylor was awesome in answering all my questions and providing advice on a jacket that suits my needs and style. After looking around at many other places, I was happy to have found somebody that was such a great help. Will definitely go back!
I don't understand why they have financing applications. Sales person tells me that if I do the finacing application I'm locked in to the bike I was looking at. How the hell do I know what the interest rate will be or the monthly payments.
Deliver outstanding Customer Service on a regular basis is not an easy goal, but for the team at Blackfoot Motorsports, it comes naturally. Tyler and Linley are both knowledgeable and passionate about bikes and the business they are into. Thanks to them, Blackfoot Motorsports has a customer for life now. I am deeply grateful with them for helping me out getting my DL650.
This review is for the service, got off to a rocky start but the service dept fixed and owned up to their mix up. Not many places will do that any more.(nice to see) In the end they were great to deal with. The sales team is also friendly and approachable, no problem buying my parts and possibly my next bike from them. They do price match on parts which is also nice too. So far a great shop to deal, keep it up.
I have been dealing with Blackfoot Motorsports for years now. Always a great experience when I go. Robert Goyer in the parts department has become my go to guy for anything bike related. His expertise and passion for bikes is awesome. He has gone out of the way many times to help me out and provide great advise. Thanks guys.
I give 5 stars not because they are 5/5 perfect, but because they try to help as best they can without getting on my nerves. I appreciate every experience I get when I go there.
If you are looking for a new toy this is like a 2 wheeled candy store and all the accessories you could hope to find in stock at a dealership. Great team!
A big shoutout to HARSH in sales for a very amazing experience shopping with blackfoot motorsports. I got my first motorcycle a yamaha fz600. He got me a sweet deal on the bike and a very nice deal on the helmet as-well. Thanks harsh. Cheers.
Tyler Leblanc in the sales department was nothing short of helpful and professional. He went above and beyond my expectations and made things happen when they're were glitches with other departments. Thanks again Tyler, absolutely love my new bike!
My latest experience was with Eric Noesgaard (Sales Manager) who helped my pick a bike and supported me through out the transaction. He is a very patient and knowledgeable individual and I highly recommend him.
Myself, my dad and 3 of my girlfriends bought Vespas from Blackfoot. We are so unbelievably happy with our purchases and the service we received from Ron Newman. I would highly recommend Blackfoot to anyone, they have been super awesome to deal with and ask for Ron.
The only bad thing about black foot is that they make me spend all my money lol. Bought two bikes here brand new and they have had excellent service both times. True experts.
Ron Newman and the staff at Blackfoot are excellent to deal with. Always my first choice for my Motorsports needs! Their passion for the sport and industry shows through in their customer service.
Fantastic dealer! I was on a trip and they were the only dealer within 700 of my location that carried the tires I needed. They wheeled my bike in at 9:00 AM and they had me on the road by 10:30 with two new tires. Even cleaned 10 days of grime off the bike. Very reasonably priced, friendly, and knowledgable. If I lived in Calgary, they would be my go to dealership!
This shop has an excellent service area .great selection of tires and the service team really makes it easy by booking service online before you go. Huge parts area to Cruz while your bike is being serviced!
I'm not going to lie. I was looking for a Honda CRF150R for my wifes birthday present. After banging my head against the wall with the Honda Dealers in Calgary and Red Deer I was ready to throw myself into traffic. Then I went in to see Ron Newman at Blackfoot Motorsports. Finally a breath of fresh air when it came to service. After talking with Ron about my needs and future plans I decided to GO GREEN and never looked back. Thx Blackfoot Motorsports.
My favourite place to get gear or bike parts! Megan and Danika are always helpful with helping me with gear. Its always the gear I want and they are always able to get me exactly what Im looking for! Anything motocross I highly recommend these 2 ladies! They know exactly what will work best for you! Wouldn't go to any other store!
Just wanted to say Big Thanks to George that helped me out with my yz250x and extras and all the help and info you gave me Big Thanks to you George and Blackfoot totally recommend
We had the pleasure to deal with Blackfoot Motorsports since this was the only dealership we could find the 2020 V4 Panigale. Miles Cantafio was the sales person to help us from the very beginning. We had to travel 8 hours to Calgary and Miles made all the arrangements for the pickup, walk through, documents for the finances and much more. All the documents was in order, we had a grand tour of the grounds and the show room, all the information was accurate and he went above and beyond to help us. His friendly and professional help and advice made this buy a great experience. We end up forgetting the box with the passenger seat and foot pegs at the store. Miles phoned us and drove all the way to Chestermere after work to deliver the box for us. We surely appreciated his efforts to go above and beyond. We will surely deal with this dealership again and can absolutely recommend the friendly and professional service of Miles Cantafio.
Often have good product. Bought a motorcycle here a few years ago. Customer service has been wildly inconsistent but leans toward rude or just plain inattentive. Shame since they are a major dealer of some great bikes and unique riding clothing lines.
As for the sales department of Blackfoot, there's plenty to see and the staff have always been friendly. I brought my bike to Blackfoot only on a specific tech recommendation, when I brought my bike in there was no record of my appointment and different techs did the work so I could have brought it to any shop. I recommend confirming your appointment 3 times before taking it in
Just received my son s 12 StaCyc. Had an issue with shipping (not the fault of Blackfoot) but Dean had it fixed fast and efficiently. Great customer service. The bike looks awesome. My son is so excited to get on it. Definitely will recommend this place to all my riding friends and family.
I have good experience there, I bought my first used bike 2016 and I came back this year and I bought another new one. I am happy and all service by Simon Armstrong BMW was great! Thank you!
Buying a new bike over the phone and on line when you live over 600 kms away is a challenge but Rene did a first class job explaining over the phone the answers to my myriad of questions. Rene picked me up at the airport with a fresh coffee and we did a complete review of the F800R I purchased and carefully explained each feature. Rene took the time to take me through the entire store and their mechanic shop area. Wow...... very impressed. Great product knowledge and understanding of client needs. He made sure I had the BMW hot line for my ride home but the bike rode flawlessly I love it...........time for a service.
The lovely Cynthia looked after all the paper work and helped subsequently when I had a BC registration issue. I have recommended Blackfoot to lots of people a great outfit!
Amazing collection and awesome employees. Especially in the European bike section (BMW/Dukati) upstairs. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the market for bikes.
Brother and i purchased 3 motorcycles from them so far and we will get more from now on. It's a completely different feeling buying a bike from a friend than it is from a salesman, and Rene Fontaine is just that. I have no complaints!
My experiences with Blackfoot have never been anything but completely satisfactory. I purchased a new V7R from Dave Anderson in 2016, and whole process was smooth. I'm in the automotive industry as a Service Manager, and cannot say enough about this. Even the first service was excellent, when an advisor called to confirm a further sale/maintenance item with the plugs.
I was in to view another new bike this past weekend, and Dave recognized and carried on conversation with me. Asked about the other bikes I own, and grabbed the key to show me the features.
Great selection of gear in lots of different sizes! Visiting from Saskatchewan where options are scarce, so having the availability to try things on is terrific. Keep up the great inventory selection and help from staff! Pricing is also competitive.
Despite the fact that I bought my Honda F6B elswhere the staff here have been exceptional. From my first visit, buying a new helmet for myself , when Britania shook my head to make me realize the one I selected was way too loose, to my recent visit when I kitted my wife out with a full set of Klim geortex riding gear and a helmet, the sales staff have been incredible. I have had to wait occasionally for assistance but only because their staff are in such demand and have so much valuble information to offer. I have so far, this year, bought 4 helmets, 2 full Klim suits and numerous Sena intercom / audio accessories. I really appreciate the personal insight and solid advice from the counter staff too. The cherry on top is the automated email notification I receive when my special orders come in so I don't have to call again and again to see if my goodies have arrived. I would recommend this shop to anyone. The only drawback here is that they don't sell Honda bikes.
Simon was great, answered all our questions, and walked us through the financing process. The place is wall to wall motorcycles, it's a little hard to get around , but there is a bike on the floor for anyone who want one.
Best moto shop in Alberta! Can't say enough good things about this group of people! Always great service from every department!
If you're in the market for a bike go talk to Ron Newman first! He is not your typical sleazy salesman! Great guy who's always willing to chat and give you any info you need. No pressure, ever.
I'm proud to consider him a friend after our dealings together! Thanks for everything Ron! Keep up the good work! Customer for life.
Very unhappy.. with the service there dont return calls or bother helping u on the phone.. unless u in the store u don't get help.. very poor business practice
I ve been shopping at Blackfoot for many years. I ve bought several bikes and all sorts of gear and accessories and I have always found the staff and owners to be fair and accommodating. This season my wife and I bought new BMWs, a R1200GS Adventure for myself and a F700GS for my wife. Our salesman (Simon Armstrong) was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and super attentive. He took the time and never made us feel rushed. He would literally take us to other departments to make sure we got the help and answers we needed. The two bikes and gear amounted to a sizable purchase and we couldn t have been more comfortable with our decision. Simon was even in on his days off to accommodate his customers with bike deliveries. I would recommend anyone shopping for a bike to ask for Simon when you visit the store.
I was leaving for a week long trip through BC, and after loading my bike, my headlight bulb burned out. I stopped at Blackfoot, bought a bulb, and thought I would just change it in the parking lot. I could not get the bulb clip back in place for the life of me! I finally went inside to plead ignorance and a couple of techs came out to help. They were able to get it in place for me. Gavin Birchall did a great job and got me on my way! And no charge! I bought the BMW F800GT at Blackfoot, but this was still above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks Blackfoot.
Robert in parts is a top knotch lad. Always gets me all the parts I need in a timely Manor and is very knowledgeable. 10/10 guy right there. Thanks again Robert.
