Barron Heating Review

Joe arrived early and checked our AC unit before the warm weather begins. I decided to subscribe to the annual Silver Plan twice a year checkups.

Patrick, Mason, Kevin, Ian, and Gurinder were courteous and friendly during the cleaning and sealing of the heating ducts. They explained each step of the process and were willing to answer any questions. I highly recommend Barron Heating and AC.

We had a Daikin ductless heating/cooling system installed in our living room and family rooms. David, Cabel, and Tim were all professional and friendly. They all answered our questions in a way we could understand.

Jordan installed a replacement tankless hot water heater for us. He and his 'crew mate' were both very professional and efficient. We have contacted Barron's several times over the past 8 years regarding the appliance they replaced and they have always been quick to respond and have gone above and beyond to deal with the manufacturer to make sure we are taken care of. Barron's and Jordan have earned my highest recommendation!

Daniel arrived on time and was very courteous and efficient. He did an outstanding job of servicing our furnace nd fireplace, and thoroughly explained my options. We will call Barron again next year.

Brett is great. He called 15 minutes before arriving to service both of our heating units. He explained all aspects of the process clearly and wasted no time in getting the job done. He's a pro. Thank you Brett!

Chris and Noah did an excellent job of cleaning our heating ducts. They were very professional and extremely helpful. They explained the entire process to us before they began. Overall their work was excellent and we are extremely pleased with our very clean ducts. I highly recommend Barron for any heating issues.

This one star rating is not for the installation team or support staff that coordinated my wood stove purchase/installation, but specifically for the leadership that somehow felt it was okay to add more than $1300 in UNSPECIFIED charges more than a year after the installation was performed. To make matters worse, they refused to discuss or return any emails in our attempts to address the issue. Then, to top that all off, I received several invoices for different amounts with no explanation.

Everyone ~ from Wes (who was by far the most knowledgeable salesperson I had spoken with in regarding to heating/air conditioning and what I actually needed) to Jacobi (who was so on top of everything and went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of) to Raymond, Mich, Mike & Aaron (the guys that did the installation and electrical) to Bill, Noah, Gurinder & Mason (the guys that did the duct cleaning and sealing) to Mandy in the office ~ was amazing! They were all so nice, helpful, knowledgeable not to mention prompt and attentive to everything! Not one person was grumpy or cross with me even when I asked question after question. They were all willing to explain what was going on, how things worked and all had smiles and a cheery demeanor with me.
Everyone worked so hard from start to until everything was complete, it was nice to see a team work so hard, so well. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I would/will recommend Barron Heating to anyone and everyone I know. :) They are simply awesome!!

We had our annual furnace check-up this past week and, as we have come to expect, Barron (specifically the technician, Brent Young) did their usual professional and efficient job. We have done business with Barron for many years now and are continually impressed by their service.

Very happy with Barron's service!!! AC went out one evening and my house was almost 90 degrees...my little ones were miserable. I called the after hours line at Barron Heating and, Jim was there within an half hour and fixed my unit promptly. We had cold air again during a major heat wave. I couldn't be more happy with the level of service you guys offer . Thanks so much for making my family comfortable.

We have had a ductless heat pump for a little over a year. Lane Anderson from Barron Heating came and gave us our free first year inspection. He was very professional, courteous, and efficient. We love our system and his guidance made me much more comfortable and sure of my ability to deal with ongoing maintenance.

Ian and Shane arrived promptly on time to clean the duct work. They didn't waste any time setting up and getting started. Ian did a thorough inspection of the duct work. We were informed that none of the duct work had been screwed together. They are going to set up a schedule to come back to put the screws in as soon as they are able. We were very pleased with their work. Ian showed us before and after pictures of the cleaning and we were very surprised! We wouldn't hesitate to refer Barron Heating to our friends and family. Note to John Barron: When Ian backed into our driveway, I met them at their truck and asked if I could help them. All three of them had a puzzled look on their face. They wondered if they were at the wrong address. I let them stew for about 20 seconds and then told them that they were indeed at the right place. My bad.

Both Calieb and his assistant worked and communicated very professionally to install our furnace replacement. I was also impressed with the efficient and friendly office communications for scheduling. Chris did a very thorough job of inspecting our system, explaining to me how the system works and showing me the math of why we needed an additional return air vent.

Update
Bill and Matt just finished cleaning our ducts last night. Again very professional in both work and customer relations. It is obvious that Barron is serious about who you hire and a comprehensive training program. Also appreciated the well advanced notice that they were running behind. We had guests for dinner and they worked around us, doing the kitchen first, with a minimum of distractions.

Easy to schedule. One time. Neat, courteous and efficient. Performed as expected for a "Top Drawer" service provider.

From the initial visit to give me an estimate, to the installation, to the final Aeroseal visit I've been VERY impressed with these guys!!! Reliable, courteous, and really nice people. They identified some real inefficiencies in my system that another outfit didn't even look for when doing an AC estimate previously. I look forward to a comfortable summer with my new AC while saving money on my power bills! Win-win!!!

Our new air conditioning system went out after only a couple weeks -and during our unusually warm summer. We called Barron and they arranged to come out and found that their was a leak - and it turned out to be inside the Lennox unit itself. Although it was Friday afternoon, Brian came out to braze the internal pipes, re-charge the freon, and restart our machine and ensure that our system was back in operation that evening. Great service from this team.

We will enjoy even more the work they did to our heat ducks and when we get our new furnace, which we just did we will enjoy the cold even more as we look out the window at the winter nights thinking how sad it is as there are those who are out on the streets.

Paul showed up on time, was knowledgable and was very personable. Explained all facets of the work and the billing.

Ian and Noah were awesome - polite and professional! Did a great job cleaning the ducts and cleaning up after, explaining the process and answering my questions. A fabulous team!!

ok now have ac installed. Phil, Dave and Isaiah did a great job. Cleaned up really good. Only one problem they turned off my hot water heater which is right next to furnace so that makes sense. Called customer support on a Sunday. They call me back and walked me through relighting of hot water tank so all is good.

The service tech, Brent, arrived on time and was very professional and well spoken. He explained the benefits of the premier service program to my satisfaction.

Great, conscientious employee with real knowledge and understanding. He cleaned our propane stove and went through all the parts to be sure each component is in good order. He cleaned the igniter and put the best quality ambers in to the fire place display area. I engaged Brian to come back in a year as well. We also will meet with their solar panel team soon to see if there is a way for us to go solar.

We just had Barron replace a wood pellet stove with a gas fireplace. Every step in the process was handled expertly and efficiently. Janice in sales took the time to show us several models and explained all of the options and helped us to decide on the one we wanted. Kalani came out to the house and took all of the measurements to make sure we selected the correct unit. He then returned later to install the unit. He spent a considerable amount of time making sure that the unit was centered and level, all connections were secure, the venting was installed properly and the unit performed as per specifications. He also showed us how to operate the unit and make available adjustments (fan speed, flame height, etc). We could not be happier with the installation.

I really appreciate the Silver Shield maintenance program that Barron Heating offers. I have my rental properties on the annual schedule, and several times the inspection has identified small problems which, left unattended, could turn into bigger ($$$) issues. I was really pleased with technician Brandon Demeyer's service today. Brandon knew exactly what he was doing and was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Silver Shield is a great "peace-of-mind" program, and really beats receiving a call at 3am in February that the furnace has shut off!

Brent was great! He called us ahead of time and was on time. Everything went smoothly, and he explained the new billing system well. The check-up was finished efficiently, and we were very pleased with his work!

David installed a Heat Pump for us. He was very nice, professional and cleaned up everything. Our kids were very thankful that he gave them the huge box to make a fort!

Couldn't ask for better from Daniel McCoy. It was our annual check up. He was here on time and beyond thorough. He found that the tubes in our air handler were covered in dust/dog hair/dirt. ( No wonder our system was slow to respond to our temperature increases ). He explained the new duct sealing system available from Barron as well as the infrared Hepa type dust destroyer product. ( Im sure I have the name wrong, but its an easily installed product that further cleans the air after it passes through the filter. We elected to do a duct cleaning which Daniel scheduled on the spot. Daniel was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

We've used Barron heating for 10 years and have been very happy with the work and follow up. Today Carey Jefferson came out for our yearly service....he was polite, efficient, and communicated everything perfectly.

Brent and Pat were great! They performed the annual maintenance check on our Daikin ductless heat pump. They arrived within the time specified and were very professional and cordial. I highly recommend Barron!

We had hearth installer Kalani to install new wood burning stove pipe.. Very helpful and professional. I will request him for all my future maintenance on wood as well as propane stoves..

Our furnace quit working and Barron heating sent out a tech, Daniel McCoy to give us an estimate. It turned out to be a pretty simple issue, the part was replaced and out heat was back on! Great company!

I scheduled a repair to my mini-split heat pump as it is not operating. I made the call on a Thursday and set an appointment for their soonest availability the following Monday afternoon. Due to high temperatures and poor air quality conditions due to a nearby forest fire we have had our 2 year old inside in uncomfortable temperatures. However it is livable, it just would be nice to have repaired in a timely manner. I didn't mind waiting for Barron as I had not used them before but as a building industry professional and small business owner I have had past clients state they have been satisfied with their service, as a result I have recommended them numerous times to clients on a weekly basis. My schedule is busy with a 2 year old, dogs and as a business owner and I highly value my time. My appointment was scheduled between 2pm-5pm and I was to receive a call when the technician was on his way. Well, after taking the afternoon off (costing me money) keeping my dogs in the hot shed and waiting at home all this time, no one showed and I did receive a call from the technician at 7:55pm stating he obviously wasn't going to make it. All of this could have been better managed with proper communication. I now still have no AC and need to call to reschedule..? I guess I'll have to find somewhere else to use and someone else to recommend to my clients.

So glad we decided to add AC to our home. Best upgrade we've made to date. Thank you Barron Heating for sizing the right air conditioner for our home. It's really paying off in this heat!

Great guy, very helpful. Very pleased with our service.

We had a heat pump installed and our duct work cleaned/sealed. While I only have the names of the duct work crew, Chris, Shane and Gurinder, all of the techs, and there were several, did a great job taking time to be sure that the quality of their work was high. Everything is functioning perfectly. - the air conditioning feature hasn't been used yet but we expect that to be fine as well. The installers also made sure that our heating/cooling schedule was set to what we needed. The Duct work team provided a report of leakage before and after the sealing which resulted in a 93.5% reduction. The sales person was extremely knowledgeable and was very thorough and patient answering all of our questions. While his followup was slow, it was not enough of a problem to subtract a star due to our overall great experience.

Barron Heating installed my new heating system about nine years ago, and have serviced it since. Being on Blakely island, a non-ferry island, can make service and repairs more complicated The entire crew at Barron Heating...from the person who answers the phone, to the scheduler, to the technician...are friendly, accommodating, extremely competent, and the services are provided at a reasonable fee.

Josh Brooks came out this year to do the annual maintenance on my system, with a second visit required to replace the heat pump fan motor. He was competent and professional, courteous and careful in my home...what an impressive young man!

Kudos to Daniel Pisano for doing an excellent job on my yearly maintenance. He also has excellent customer service especially on teaching customers how to run their remotes correctly and fine tune how they operate. I'm already feeling the differences he showed me. TY! Daniel You the man! ;)

Joe helped us understand our furnace and thermostat better. He was very thorough in inspecting and cleaning all of our heat systems.

Had a guy from Barron come out and take a look at my electric furnace which hasn't worked in a year. Finally had set aside some money expecting the repair to be a big/expensive fix. Come to find out after all this time it was just the heating element that needed to be replaced!! Didnt cost an arm and a leg like I had though, guy was quick and very thorough. Will definitely be calling Barron again for any issues!!

When Eric came out to do our duct cleaning, I wasn't sure what to expect. They not only were knowledgeable and professional, they were also personable. Eric explained about getting Silver Shield (which is a free membership) for savings on yearly maintenance for our furnace. I called and set that up today. Thank you for your great customer service!

Just a fantastic experience! They worked with us over an extended period to make sure we got the right product (Daikin split head ductless) for our condo. The installation crew was polite, personable, and very professional in putting the unit in. They respected our space and were very conscientious in making sure no nicks or dings appeared in the processes of installation. Special kudos to the electrician who went above and beyond to magically make the power lines invisible.

From the time we were investigating our options to the time the crews departed and the job was finished, I was pleased and impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, experience and focus on customer service by everyone involved in our project. In particular, Bill Pinnell and his crew (Mason Clegg, Shane Coppin, Gurinder Gill, and Chris Huff) were on time, well prepared and well trained. As a matter of fact, I observed some patient and insightful on-the-job training taking place as this larger than normal crew went about their tasks - quite a good indication of the level of commitment to doing a good job.

They explained what was being done and answered our questions quickly and easily. They were courteous, hardworking, and mindful that they were "invading" our home and made the experience easy and comfortable for us. Great job, Barron!

Dave and electrician, Brian, installed my heat pump. Both were professional, on time, and meticulous in their work. I have nothing but great things to say about them.
Billing was a little different. Although a last minute change should have resulted in a final balance discount, I received a bill for the original higher amount. When I called accounting to get the correct balance, I was told to contact my salesperson to find out how much I owed. Sloppy.

The furnish started working when he showed up he offered to come back at no charge when it started acting up again and gave me a really good "on a new furnace I was a pleasure to have in my home

Today March 7th 2019 Eric Olson seized my funace and fireplace insert he was very professional and thorough , I was very satisfied with his work . One thing I would like to address is he told me there were no records on the date I purchased my regency fireplace insert , I am sure if you look at Montys purchasing records of two years ago he had that information because he ordered new burners for it and installed it.

The Barron team of Bill, Mason, and Matt did a great job on our duct work cleaning and sealing yesterday. Our 1900 home has mid-1970s vintage infrastructure so was filthy and very leaking. Barron scheduled our work, called the day before with a reminder, the team showed up when scheduled and stayed until the job was finished in a single planned day (7pm). The guys did a great job answering our questions and concerns and were flexible to deal with our daily logistical challenges. Great work!

The technicians, Bob and Rhett, were on time, removed their shoes without my asking, were very polite and friendly, seemed to know exactly what needed to be done and set about doing their jobs quickly and efficiently. I am very happy with Barron's maintenance policy and recommend the company to others.

The person who had a new furnace installed the day before was out of town the next day when Bill Pinnell and Noah Higashi came to do clean the ducts and assess their efficiency. He asked me to be at the house when they did the work, thus the reason why I am writing this review. The gentlemen were thorough and explained everything they were doing and relayed information along the way so I was able to take notes. Bill was very patient in answering all my questions. I would recommend them for future business.

From start to finish, Barron services were impressive and thorough - from assessing our 1897 newly purchased home, laying out a duct plan, installing new ducts and cleaning the entire system. I highly recommend Barron and would choose them again!

Another company said my fireplace was broken and it would be cheaper to replace than fix . I called Barron's to get a second opinion. Glad I did, Jeff from Barron's came out fixed it, cleaned it and made it sparkle for less than $200. Super impressed. These guys know their stuff.

My furnace stopped working unexpectedly. Called the folks over at Barron, and am so glad I did. They jumped all over it for me, got me on the schedule to have it replaced within a week, and even offered to drop by some space heaters in the meantime. I arrived home just as the install team was finishing up. Brad, the lead technician gave me a quick rundown on how the install went and how the new equipment worked. Meticulous cleanup and great install. The entire experience with Barron was phenomenal.

Clark was very professional, cordial and thorough. Arrived on time, went straight to work and answered all my questions in a straightforward manner. We are totally pleased with the installation of our new fireplace insert.

We purchased a mini ductless system from Barron Heating in 2012 and have annual maintenance. We are very pleased with our unit and the service we get from Barron. Their technicians are always very professional and efficient.

Gurinder Gill and Chris Huff responded to our home at the scheduled time to clean our ducts. They were very professional and courteous as they walked through my home and explained the entire process. I will use Barron's in the future and recommend them to friends and neighbors. Thank you!

It took us forever to commit to purchasing our gas fireplace insert. Janice was helpful, kind, full of information, and infinitely patient with our indecisiveness. When we finally pulled the trigger, everything came together quickly. Ben and Jake came to do the install, and were quick, efficient, and did a fantastic job. Jake even came out again to clean the glass for us when, because of the proximity to our cold garage, the glass fogged up with condensation and made water streaks, and he showed us how to prevent it. Thank you to all of you for my new favorite thing in the house!

We purchased our furnace from Barron almost 9 years ago, have had nothing but great experience with them with general maintenance and service issues. I don't work for them, just pleased with their service. Today's tech was Daniel Mccoy who was professional, knowledgeable about air quality issues which I was interested in, was efficient and left the area clean. All of the techs have been professional and none have ever pressured me to purchase anything.
Like others, I compare before purchasing and Barron is not the cheapest. However in this case, "you get what you pay for" holds true.

Thank you for sending Eric Olson out from Barron to do our first annual checkup! Our heating and cooling system works fantastically! He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and very amiable. We recommend Barron and your employees whenever we hear about someone needing your products!

The guys that came out to measure were fast and professional. The installers Channing, and Brad, put the furnace in with speed and expertise and did a great job in the clean up!

We have two hot air furnaces in our duplex. One of which was installed by Barron Heating a few years ago. We were so impressed with the 2nd furnace installation by Barron that we discontinued using previous company and switched to them for annual service on both furnaces. Joe performed last year's service and we requested him again this year. He excels at his job and I hope he continues employment at Barron.
