The Barron Team installed a DHP & disconnected the electric baseboard heaters in the 605 square foot cottage in January 2016 ~ what a difference! The consistent cost effective warmth in the cold winter is cozy, rather than the expensive inconsistent & difficult to manage baseboard heat. Bonus~ air conditioning on a few hot summer days! wow... Thanx a million!

Really excellent customer service from staff who do wish you to be happy with their products and care about your equipment operating well and safely. Bryan, Dan and Scotty go far above the usual cursory maintenance provided by some companies. They care that your home is comfortable and safe with Barron's products.

Dan is a very knowledgeable professional excellent at identification of problems and resolving them especially in retrofit situations.

I also had a difficult gas insert install situation at one point. Kailani installed my gas insert with a high level of creativity and professionalism to ensure the product I wanted was what I got.

Janice in the office is most helpful as well. She provides clear communication in outlining services and prices. Timely in returning phone calls.

Owner John obviously supports the tenet of having his company provide excellent customer service and promotes a work environment to encourage that.

Ian, and Dylan both did a great job. THEY were friendly and courteous at all times. Didn't even have to ask them to take off their shoes when they came in the house. After doing the work, they went around making sure things were all cleaned up.

Barron replaced our furnace, crawl space duct work, heat pump and water heater. Through the process we've worked with almost 10 Barron employees. Every one of them would receive 5 stars from us for their customer service, knowledge, communication, reliability, and thoroughness. And they all seem to love their jobs and working for this company. That says a lot.

4 other other companies gave us estimates and we chose Barron because they seemed to offer all the services we needed under one roof. Their salesperson has been with the company for many years and was much more thorough and knowledgeable than other companies we talked with; most of which didn't even follow up after sending an estimate to us.

We feel very confident that this investment in our home will last a very long time because we purchased great equipment that was installed by professionals who do excellent work and really care about their customers. We can't recommend them enough.

I've been using Barron for several years now and am very happy with their performance. This year our Trane brand furnace needed a new ignitor. The tech was on time, diagnosed the issue, and did our annual service. I had Barron come out the following week to do our first ever duct cleaning. I asked the tech Chris H. to take some photos for me. The before and after shots are dramatic!

Great service. Roy is an asset to the company. Serviced and fixed a wiring problem we didn't know we had, thankfully, with clear explanations and quick action.

Jon Carbonneau spent several hours performing the silver shield PM and inspection on our heat pump system as well as the gas fireplace...he was very patient with all my questions and provided me a better understanding of how the system works...this is our 11th year with the Barron Heating installed system (originally installed by Barron with this house) and because of technical experts like Jon, it is still performing well..Jon clearly knows his work, is technically competent and is knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

When servicing our old and noisy furnace we were told that it was about shot. It was years past the supposed end date and was less efficient and very loud. We purchased a new furnace and we are very happy that we did. Everybody from the service technician, installers and the duct inspection people were friendly, explained what was happening and did a great job. Would recommend Barron to all.

After having a failed furnas on New Years Day, Barron came to the rescue in a big way! Their technician was able to fix a problem that another unnamed company only made worse!

We now have a brand new 3 zone heat system that is AMAZING! After doing our due diligence with estimates, the Barron team was the only one who immediately identied the best options for our older tri level house. Their knowledge was immediately superior to others we consulted with. Wes was on his game answering all questions thoroughly and honestly.

After having our vents cleaned and sealed the difference In Air flow was immediately noticed. We discovered vents we didn t realize we had because they hadn t been blowing air before! It was crazy.

The new furnas is efficient and pleasantly quiet. The install crew , including Spencer and his electrician partner were friendly and clearly experts in their tasks. No mess left behind and they even started a wood fire to keep the house warm while they worked. That was above and beyond our service expectation for sure.

David and Andrew did an amazing job! They were very professional and personable. The installation and product look great, thank you to David and Andrew!!!

Ray and David showed up with their crew on time at 8 am and explained what was to happen and then got right to work. They were courteous and considerate throughout the entire project. They took the time to answer questions and explain what was happening and why. Upon completion of the project both spent time with us individually explaining the functions of the remote control, the units both inside and out and their functions. All in all a pleasant experience with them with minimal disruption of the household functions.

Our technician Jon was prompt, friendly and thorough. He answered all questions and taught us about our system and suggestions about possible replacement of our 24 year old furnace. Great explanation of the benefits of annual maintenance, and Barron programs.

Our furnace was near the end of its life cycle, so we contacted Barron and others for estimates on a new one. We chose Barron because their price was reasonable and we were able to combine the Aeroseal process to our ductwork with the new furnace. The Aeroseal revealed that our ductwork had leakage equivalent to a seventeen square inch hole but after treatment had reduced it to almost nothing (96% reduction). It was a great combination making sure we had high efficiency ductwork to transport heat from a high efficiency furnace. The whole process, from estimate to Aeroseal to new furnace, involved several persons from Barron. I was really pleased with them all, from Bob who had so much experience and knowledge in helping us get set up, to Ian, Pat, Gurinder, Paul, Joe and the two men who installed the actual furnace. Also Nolan who did the follow up Blower Door test. They all served us personably, professionally and well. It's great having a high efficiency furnace and duct system in place, and I am glad we chose Barron.

Brian Gilfilen serviced my year old furnace today and was very thorough and helpful with explanations on how it functions and what needed to be done. Thanks, Brian for your excellent service!

October 2019 - Just had furnace maintenance visit with Daniel Pisano and was very impressed with the service and with Daniel. He explained everything he was doing in a straightforward manner, without using so many technical terms it would be hard to follow. He was prompt to arrive at the beginning of the 2 hour window and completed what looked like a very thorough service routine in around an hour. It was all good news for me! Daniel also showed me the main air filter I didn't know I had and suggested I remove a superfluous air filter in the ducting. Can't wait for my fireplace service in a couple weeks. Many thanks to Daniel and to Barron!

Great job. We expected that, based on many years of dealing with Barron with no problems and only high quality service. Most recently, we replaced a failing heating system. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. They even found ways to reduce our costs, and after the installation we had nothing to clean up after they left.

We called on Barrron's to clean our dryer vent, realizing that dryer vent fires are the major cause of house fires in the USA.

Ian S. showed up right on time, and set about getting the job done. It looked like we were in the midst of a snowstorm while he cleaned the vent line. And we ALWAYS clean the dryer filter after every time the machine is run.

Ian was great, he cleaned everything up and was on his way to the next job within an hour or so. We were super pleased with the work and with Ian, and plan to have the process repeated every year.

There is no other service place I could recommend to come out and take care of a non functioning gas fire place and gas furnace. Both had been acting sickly with constant resetting of circuit breakers and clogged firing spicket... Could not ask for such prompt and efficient service. Barron#1

1 year ago, as a result of our Silver Shield preventive maintenance, our 17 year old Carrier furnace was determined to be ready for replacement. Bob McCoy, our Barron service technician, identified potentially life threatening levels of carbon monoxide. Thankfully he caught this problem before the heating season began. Bob gave us a couple of options to consider, and we had a new Carrier furnace installed in less than a week. We upgraded to a unit with a variable-speed fan which is so quiet, we hardly know when it is running. Barron's service, from initial telephone contact, to service scheduling, service technicians and installers has been extremely courteous and competent. I have referred several neighbors to Barron based on our experience over the years. Thanks to all for your superior customer service!!

HVAC Install:
The process started with quick meeting at the Whatcom County Home Show when we met Wes who setup an appointment to come and visit our home and layout a proposal for a new HVAC and Whole home Generator. He came on time as promised. The contract was signed and a date scheduled to meet our needs. In the days leading up to the appointment for the install, Joe came out and performed a complete layout in preparations to order the equipment. Then just days prior to the install, Mandi (the scheduler) called and made sure we were informed of the process. On the day promised, several vehicles arrived as each person arriving had a specific job to complete. Jon, Dave, Nolan, & Jacoby arrived in the days to come and removed our old equipment and installed the new as we had been promised. Conde also stopped by early on in the project to see how things were going. Aaron and Ethan were on site to power the new units and get the systems up and running. I may have missed someone as there were lots of good people working at once on this project. It turned out to be a complex system which is working perfectly. After the system was installed we called to request a modification to one of the air zones, Conde was sent out and within a few minutes of discussing what our issue was, he was able to resolve it to our satisfaction. We had them take a single system and divide a forced air system into three air zones with three thermostats. This meant installing an addition cold air return and forced air vent into a room which did not have this previously. This system is setup to remotely monitor it and control it when we are away from the Thermostats. It is a Cadillac of a system, but everything we have ever wanted. Through this process, Angie from accounting worked with us to provide feedback about our financing and how to proceed. Thanks Barron Heating and Cooling for an extraordinary job well done.

Whole House Generator Install:

Orlando provided the Natural Gas pipefitter work required to get this unit up and running. It turned out to be a complex system which is working perfectly. After the system was installed the Electrical Inspector came and requested a couple of modifications before he would sign off. In the weeks to come, the modifications were taken care of and the inspector returned and was very gracious to sign off and commission the Generator System. Through this process, Angie from accounting worked with us to provide feedback about our financing and how to proceed. Thanks Barron Heating and Cooling for a great job well done.

My daughter was a satisfied customer of Barron and recommended them when we purchased a gas fireplace five years ago. Since then, we have hired Barron to service and clean that fireplace, plus our furnace, yearly. When it was time to replace the furnace, we trusted Barron to recommend a new furnace at a reasonable price. It was installed yesterday. All employees whom we have met have been punctual, courteous, and efficient. We are extremely pleased with their service and will happily continue to depend on them for our heating needs.

I recently purchased my home and knew the air ducts and dryer vent badly needed to be cleaned. Ian and Dylan were professional and efficient. They introduced themselves and then got to work. They did an excellent job. Clearly explained what they had done, including a duct assessment. This followed the service of my furnace a couple of weeks ago by Jon. I highly recommend this company. Perhaps not cheapest but definitely the thoroughest.

Annual Servicing and Maintenance
Brandon was very timely on his arrival. He told me what he was going to do and estimated how long it would take. He got right to work and when finished, the fireplace (propane and my primary source of heat during the winter) was nice and clean and ready for the coming season. I am a very persistent person that does read a lot about company's review. I got a few bids from a few different companies and Barron heating was by far the best of all three. I had to start from scratch as I did not have any hvac work in my home, wall heaters is all we had. They installed a 5 stage system with A/C.

They crew arrived on time and are very friendly and very courteous. The crew we had were Jon, Jesse, Alexander and Aarron. They finished the job in two day like they had said. They are very good and keeping you home clean when they are working and clean up at the end of each day as if they were never there.

Watch out. As is so often the case in the Peoples Republic of Western Washington, the term "service after the sale" does not apply. While they can repair and service - sort of - what they enthusiastically sell, it is often problematic and requires constant supervision. Contact and leave message for a callback: Fuggedaboudit. Billing is yet another story, likewise a short one: Hopeless.

I had my equipment serviced by Barron Heating when I moved into my new house. The technician that came out was Daniel McCoy and he did an amazing job. He was extremely helpful and educated me on many indoor air quality options we could improve on. I will definitely be a returning customer! Rick really knows his stuff. He was very good at diagnosing what the problem was and had a good support system back at the shop to verify and they had access to the manufacturer for further input. They just kept working on solutions until they found the right one.

In mid March Jacoby Shelly and his crew of Ethan, Jesse and John installed a Daikin heating and cooling system in my home. His team was very efficient and professional while working on my home system. This new system is much more user friendly and more compact than my old oil fired furnace. I was impressed with the quality of their work and how they took the time to explain how the new unit worked. They explained all the homeowner preventative maintenance and explained the thermostat operations in detail. When they left after the job was complete there was no evidence that work had been done, they left no trace of discarded materials and to me that is a JOB WELL DONE! I would Highly Recommend Barron for all heating and cooling needs!

What makes Barron great isn't their competitive prices, you expect that.
And it isn't their good quality, or on time, or professional attributes. You expect that. What you don't expect is that on top of all the above the people that work for Barron are genuinely friendly. And then, there is the after install service...you expect good service, what you don't expect is exemplary service; like calling you from their home on a follow up question. Repositioning a pipe for better use of space in a garage. Dropping by on their way to or from work to touch base or take care of a minor thing. I cannot say enough about how incredible Barron has been to us! Highly recommend them!

Brian did the annual service on our heating system and thought a part should be replaced. A week or so later the part , which was worn and fragmenting, was replaced efficiently and quickly. Brian gave me a clear explanation of what he was doing and why it needed to be done. Saved me trouble down the line by catching it now.

In January 2019, I decided to stop shivering and dreaming and actually DO something to warm up my baseboard heated little house. Ductless heating sounded intriguing, and I called Barron to get an estimate; a week later (which I thought to be fast, considering it was mid-winter) Wes came out to look around and make a proposal. I was excited to learn that the Daikin ductless system provides heat AND air conditioning 30 years ago who needed A/C in the Pacific Northwest? After listening to Wes s suggestions and the reasoning behind them, I decided to go with the ductless system, and also have my attic and crawlspace insulation reinstalled and the areas sealed. Financing was simple with a green loan from a Bellevue credit union, arranged by Barron; the monthly payments are under $100! Even after retirement, I ll be able to manage the payments easily. (Financing, of course, depends a lot on your credit rating.)
I am SO glad I did this when I did; February turned into nasty winter and even now, March 9, it s still darn cold at night. There are many times, especially since having the insulating redone, that it s too warm in here! But it s easier to turn this heat down than to keep turning the baseboard up and up and pulling out the space heaters trying to get warm! Once I get an electric bill for the first full month I will post a follow-up, I m sure it will be a lot less than what I ve been paying for all these cold years. Thank you Barron, I love my cozy little home!

I can t say enough good things about the electrician who came out and fixed a blown circuit. He not only was here within an hour, but took the time to explain what happened and even gave me a great educational lesson on the circuit box! Super nice guy. Plus, right now he was extremely conscientious about maintaining a safe distance, wearing new gloves and a serious respirator, wearing shoe booties, and generally communicating with me and keeping my household safe. Thank you to the dispatcher and the electrician for helping us so quickly. Top notch!!
