We have had Barron service our heater and gas fire for several years. As in the past, the technician this year was considerate, informative, and thorough. We keep wondering when we will need to replace the heater, but Barron's techs keep it running really well.

Chris H. and Noah showed up on time to clean the heating & air conditioning duct work in our house. They walked with us through the house answering all questions and explaining what and how things were going to be accomplished and what we could expect when they were completed. They were very professional, courteous and careful as they preformed their tasks. They went out of their way to insure that a good job was done and when finished left the house with no indication that they had even been here (except for the clean ducts). We would have these two gentlemen back without hesitation when we need the ducts cleaned again (or any other task that they might take on at Barron Heating).

We are extremely pleased with the courteous and professional installation of our A/C unit by the Barron team, especially Jon and Channing. Jon arrived on time, explained the installation process, and immediately set to work. Based on pre-planning suggestions by installation planner Jacoby, Jon also created a unique solution to conceal the pipes in our finished mechanical room which we greatly appreciated. Channing pressurized and tested the unit and answered various questions we had on the system operation. I don't recall the names of the electricians but they also did a clean installation.

Carey was awesome! friendly, informative, took time to show me how our unit works, as we just bought this home and were not familiar with the system. He was courteous and timely. Thank you Carey!

Brent called ahead to confirm arrival and was right on time. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Excellent service! Thank you!

This company is a joke and ripoff!!!

I wouldn't recommend these people to anybody!!! They installed a ventless system in our house before we moved in. They didn't match the proper outside unit with the inside units so it lacks power. Then the placement of inside units and size of inside units is completely wrong. So basically we have a useless heating and cooling system thanks to Barron. We called them to ask about it. They said because it's been over a year(13 months) they wont fix the poor quality work. ????????

Still waiting......this Company is all show. They drive around in nice trucks. They advertise on radio how good they are. Well I'm here to tell you they are a joke and only care about taking your money.

We have a system installed by another company, but were unhappy with how they were handling a particular issue. I am heavily pregnant and we have a toddler, so it was very important to us to deal with this as quickly as possible. We called Barron, and Matt totally went above and beyond to set our minds at ease. He was so kind, thorough, and professional. I am truly grateful for the amazing customer service we received.

Caleb did an excellent job getting our two furnaces ready for the winter season. He was courteous and professional.

Annual heat pump maintenance performed by Barron technician Bryan Burkley was done to a high standard. He phoned ahead to give us a better idea of his arrival time. Performed the work efficiently and gave us information on how to change the filter more often. We were very pleased with the qualiity of the work. Thanks, Bryan!

Technician Brent was very polite and courteous. He explained the service well and the new Silvershield program.

Aaron and Broc came over to fix a problem with our heated floors. They investigated and found a simple inexpensive solution in a very short time

Bob was an experienced professional who has been with Barron's for several years. He serviced our forced air furnace and our Rinnai instant water heater. He was friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable and gave us estimates on remaining life of our equipment. Barron was the original installer and we will definitely use them again.

Daniel was very courteous and conscientious about keeping our home clean when he was assessing our furnace which needs to be replaced. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in reviewing all of my options for replacement. He was particularly knowledgeable about the efficiency benefits of heat pumps. However, I chose to replace our failed and old gas furnace with the Carrier Infinity Series 97% High Efficiency Variable Speed Modulating Gas Furnace about which he was also extremely knowledgeable. My decision to purchase the furnace rather than the heat pump was primarily related to the fact that we do not require air conditioning, but there was also a significant price difference between the two systems. I did decide to proceed with Duct Cleaning and AeroSeal of my duct system after he discussed the benefits.

I have been and continue to be pleased with the service which I have received from Barron Heating and AC and would certainly recommend them. Daniel is an excellent example of their well trained, courteous, and customer oriented technicians and sales staff.

I really don't understand how my writing about an experience about a visit to a place tells anyone how well pleased I was with the young man who serviced my heater in a very short time and had it smelling an looking like a brand new one and made we warm for the first time in the past 2 or 3 weeks. He will certainly be welcome in my home any time I need my heater servied

Patrick and Noah arrived early in the morning to take care of sealing the ducts in our home -- following up on installation of new HVAC system. They explained the process and set off to work -- a full day adventure , including finding a large hole in ducts below our house -- they also took care of a couple of issues from the install as well. Patrick and Noah worked well together and the results were great -- significantly reduced the amount of airflow being lost in our ducts -- highly recommend having this team complete on your home -- Ian

I wanted to install a active air purification system before my wife got back from China February 2. I called Barron s heating and air-conditioning and the sales person that called me was Daniel McCoy. He listened to my concerns and recommended the RGF led Air purifier which is an active air purification system. Daniels communication with me before the install and during the install was excellent and I appreciate his hard work of getting this air purifier installed before my wife got home from her trip, on short notice. He was nice enough to let me watch while he installed the air purifier and then also explain to me options that I could possibly look to in the future for my old heating system. I was very happy with the service and quality of work.

After speaking with Jamie M. at Barron Heating, I'm updating my review. Her sincerity and willingness to make things right shows how serious they take their customer service. And while we did have some small issues with our furnace and hot tub installation, they worked with my wife and me to fix the situation.

Jon, Channing, Kiefer, Noah, Brian and Aaron were very professional and knowledgeable. They worked extremely well together. Arrived on time explained everything and answered all questions asked. They made modifications to ducting on the spot that needed fine tuning. Installed the new Heat Pump, Air Handler, replaced receptacle box fuses and ran new electrical lines to include an extra setup outlet that was discussed prior to installation. Well done to all. Will remain a Barron customer.

Last year we purchased a new furnace, air conditioning and a hot water heater from Barron Heating and Air Conditioning. This week we had our yearly maintenance service done by Daniel McCoy. He was friendly, professional and experienced. He informed me about all of the components that he was servicing and the results of the service, He was very through and made sure that everything was in perfect working order. He found a few issues that needed attention and contacted the company immediately so that the issues could be resolved in a timely manner. He also gave me suggestions on how to extend the life of our furnace. We are very happy with the products that we purchased and because of employees like Daniel McCoy we will always have our maintenance done by Barron's.

Barron service rep, Daniel McCoy, came to perform our annual equipment service and taught us about our ductless heating/cooling system. This has been the best purchase made for our 1898 home. Daniel showed us how to maintain our system and keeping it clean and clear. He also provided us with answers to our questions about possible future needs. Great service.

Barron Heating did a great job on our gas fireplace installation. Arron was great with the electrical work and Clark was awesome with the equipment install. Clark was thorough with explaining how everything worked and cleaned up afterwards so well we couldn't tell any work had been done.
We would recommend Barron for any comfort needs.

We had our furnace serviced by Bryan B. and are very impressed with his professionalism. He was prompt, informative, took the time to answer questions and just over all a great person to have come into our home and check on our furnace.

We then had our ducts cleaned a few days later by Patrick T. and Matt R. And again we were very impressed with how professional these two were. They were on time, answered all of our questions, were very aware of our cats, did a wonderful job cleaning the ducts which had never been cleaned before. We have noticed that our furnace is running significantly smoother since the cleaning.

We would highly recommend this company for any furnace/heating related work needed and will utilize them again!

We have found Barron Heating and their Silver Shield a very good way to keep our furnace and fireplace in working order with very little effort on our part. They do it all.... reminders, scheduling, confirming and send knowledgeable, friendly technicians who do the work expediently . Who could ask for more? We are very happy with their service.

Barron was recommended to us by friends who had an AC installed. We used them to install our AC and have, since then, had them do our annual Heat/AC inspections. Very impressed with the quality of service, the prompt arrival, the communication and friendliness of the employees. Would highly recommend Barron.

Repair skills at Barron Heating & AC are better than Island Heating. My furnace is an older model and was not functioning. Island Heating came out to fix it but they said it couldn't be fixed and charged me for that assessment. So I called Barron Heating & AC, Carey the repair guy came out. He was very knowledgeable and did some minor maintenance on my furnace to get it running. Great Job!

David, Jacoby and Orlando were awesome. How nice to have on time, efficient, polite and professional work dispached with no wasted time. I really appreciated the time they took to go over the install with attention to the operation and maintenance that I wanted to know. If these three are an example of your entire workforce then you should be proud of how they represent Barron Heating. So it is a year since my last service and again I cannot complain. My tech was Brent with Kevin in training. Actually were early and actually called me as I was not home and asked permission to wait in front of my home till I was able to get there which was about a half hour. Service was done timely and again very professional and polite. Answered all my questions and showed me what they considered to be a dirty filter. I had an extra for them to install. Thank you

Last year we had Wes Diskin from Barron's come out to help us with heating issues in our home - we had cold rooms, warmer rooms and the furnace seemed to be running constantly in colder weather.
Wes suggested re-zoning our home (at 1600 sq ft we only had the one zone - the main room/kitchen/dining area). We went to three zones - main room, front bedroom/bath/study and master bedroom/bath. What an amazing difference this past winter! Every room in the house was comfortable (and evenly heated) and the furnace ran much less often.
I would highly recommend Barron Heating & AC - the installation went smoothly, everything was explained and the place was left spotless.

Paul was thorough and friendly -- explained everything about how our furnace works, and answered every question I had.

A couple of years later we had Brent service our furnace, and he was also fantastic. Super friendly, helpful, prompt, and quick.

Barron showed up for the annual furnace service. Right away the tech wanted to sell me a CO detector for $185. You can get them for less than $20 anywhere. Then he wanted me to replace a capacitor for over $100. Amazon sells them for less than $10 and it would have been no extra work to put the new one in. I generally felt like we got good service from Barron, but this guy didn't even clean the filters on my furnace. I cancelled my service contract and will look for a company that offers more reasonable value and isn't so predatory in their approach to customers.

Daniel was very nice and explained what he was doing and checked over my furnace. Also is setting me up for a review of my system to see what needs to be done to make it more efficient. Very please with service call

We replaced an inferior "economy" heating/hot water system in our "spec" house with a Barron high efficiency unit several years ago, and it has served us very well and cut our gas bill. It was not the first time that we have used Barron over more than 25 years. However, I am writing today because we just had our annual checkup and their service tech, Robert Jobin, was remarkably good. In addition to doing the work thoroughly and efficiently, upon completion he reviewed what he had done and reported on the system's continued performance, giving us the data. Robert's attitude and demeanor was outstanding, and gives us confidence that Barron continues to be among the very best firms in Bellingham. We can't recommend them enough!

Daniel McCoy was professional and honest when servicing our properties. All of my questions were thoroughly answered, and at no time did I feel rushed during our interaction. I will definitely ask for him by name in any future business with Barron. Great company.

Josh, Barron's serviceman, quickly came over, looked at and figured out our problem with our boiler, which was leaking all over the basement. He tried several solutions and gave us temporary solution until they could replace our boilermate. Alfredo showed up up a day later and replaced our old AMTROL boilermate. He was exceptionally friendly, answered all questions clearly, and he was very considerate of our home. Seth Bowman was incredibly quick to answer all emails and schedule our installation. Couldn't be happier with Barron's service: quick, competent, friendly and professional.

Excellent inspection service. Bryan kept in phone contact as he ran a bit behind the proposed schedule, then when he arrived he spent two hours inspecting gas fireplace, electric furnace, heat exchanger, thermostat, air ducts, and gas hwh. Since everything is 14 years old, thus is in its final years of life, he explained our repair and/or replacement options, verbally and in writing. This is our 2nd year in our 14-yr-old condo. We've used Barron for inspections both years, and have always had a great experience with their technicians.

We just had our Heat Pump/AirConditioner/Heater, serviced by Bryan. We were very pleased with his kind assistance and professionalism. He answered all our questions and also gave us some Tips, for future use of our system. Thanks again Bryan

this rating is for the sales rep only , dan mcCoy. mr mcCoy does not care about his customers or baron heating. he has abandoned his client and the sale he may have made. he failed to show for our appointment and has never called again, if baron heating would like to send another sales rep we would consider the matter. on the bright side we had brian come out to repair another furnace that needed service and be did a great job.

We received the worst customer service via telephone. Didn't even have the opportunity to get service because the woman on the phone was short, abrupt, dismissive....and then hung up on us. We were shocked/disappointed and took our business elsewhere.

It's been two months since having a new heat pump system installed. I couldn't be happier. Everything works amazingly well and I know a big reason is due to the great install team. Keifer and Eric did a fantastic job; efficient, effective, and knowledgeable.

Joseph Marcuzzo was outstanding in his maintenance visit today and advised me a problem with a dual capacitor which he replaced under my warranty provision. He was very thorough in checking the heat vs cooling elements of our heat pump. He even made sure that before he left the system would function properly after he had closed everything up and he had put his tools away. He made the point to come back and re-run the system through its paces for heating and cooling before he went to his truck to leave. He represented Barron Heating in a superior customer service experience with an old customer service person who expects and appreciates a quality service experience!!! Thanks Joe

Barron Heating did a great job with my winter furnace check. Scott did a sophisticated computer analysis that uncovered a problem that would have caused a breakdown. Their pricing is reasonable, their man was on time and extremely professional. As the son of a heating specialist, I know excellence when I see it and it, and I'm glad it came at reasonable cost.

Excellent service. Explained that we were maintaining our system correctly and did a thorough cleaning of outside unit. Very pleased with the yearly maintenance program.

Install team (Jon, Brian, and Raymond) were great in all respects. Showed up on time, were gentle with our home, and left after making sure we understood the care and operation of the mini-split units they installed. Did not observe the outside work being done by electricians (Sam and Tim), but the finished job with conduit and connections certainly looks good.

We recently purchased a new heating/cooling system. We would like to especially thank Chris Travers for helping us choose the best system for us. His knowledge and patience are to be commended. Jon, Brad, and Noah also did a great job installing even under a time crunch. We also had the existing ducts cleaned and sealed. Mason and Gurinder were excellent at their job and also took the time to explain and answer all our questions. We definitely recommend Barron Heating & AC.

He was outstanding, offering a wealth of information about running our new fireplace gas insert.
He reset the embers and adjusted the ceramic logs for a more even fire, and also carefully went through the unit to check the initial installation.
Upon his recommendation we are ordering textured brick interior panels for the insert and will have rock wool installed in the old heatilator ductwork to limit heat radiation from the insert.

Brandon showed up on time and checked out our furnace and heat pump system, finding them in good condition, and we are good for another year. We are happy to have the reassurance that our systems are in good working order for the coming winter.

It all went very well from the cost estimate to the installation. Alex and John did a super job on the install including leaving the work area in pristine condition (for a garage)

Late on a Saturday afternoon during a run of mild spring weather, we discovered that our heating system was not producing any heat, so we called Barron Heating & Air Conditioning and were told that we could count on a service visit between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the following Tuesday. Well, it's the selfsame Tuesday afternoon as I write, and the problem is fixed. As promised, Carey arrived at 3 p.m., diagnosed the problem (which required a replacement part which he had in his on-hand supply), and in less than 2 hours our heat was back on. Not only was Carey focused and efficient, he was also unassumingly friendly--the kind of person you'd welcome as a next door neighbor. In short, another satisfying experience with the people of Barron!

Patrick, Jon D and Eric all did a terrific job both with the installation of a new furnace as well as cleaning of all the ducts. I would definitely use Barron Heating again.

During installation they stepped through the ceiling of 2 bedrooms, didn't offer to repair it.

Also didn't glue together the condensation drain line, causing the leak in the pictures.

They were able to drastically cut down on air leaking from my home's system--no doubt saving us money well into the future. Patrick and Gurinder arrived on time and went right to work on cleaning our vents. They worked hard and kept us informed on how things were going. They were very polite and thoughtful. They answered questions, showed us "before and after" pictures, and seemed to know their business. They cleaned up perfectly. We are very pleased.

I first called Barron to run some gas lines and install gas appliances at my house in Bellingham. I was told that someone would get back to me Over two weeks went by and I didn't receive a return call. I then received a call from the original contact checking that everything was OK. I reported that I hadn't received a call and she said that she would follow up. Over two more weeks went by with no return call. I called again and estimates came out the next day. They left and I didn't receive a quote for over two weeks. I called again and finally received a quote.

On a second occasion I went into the Ferndale store and requested assistance with service on my freestanding stove. The sales person took my information and said that a service person would call me promptly. That was over three weeks ago and I have yet to receive a call.

I really can't understand why the service department treats customers like this.

What a professional business. I came in for the first time for a part for my furnace. Before I made it to the counter, I was asked three times in a friendly way, if there was something they could help me with. No sales pitching just genuine courtesy. Definitely the place for all your HVAC and Electrical needs.

Daniel McCoy came out to my house to service my furnace and discovered that it was beyond repair. Daniel gave me multiple options and advised me on the most efficient unit for my home. The entire process was smooth and fast.
