Amazing experience at IIT Gandhinagar while open house 2018 with my son.

I love this.very beautiful campus and surrounding are full of greenry. Hostels and Mess are also good. From my point of view there is only 2 cons.
1- Tution fees very high compare to any government engineering college.
2- It very far from City. There is no public Transport to travel from here and there.
There is Bus provided from college campus for students and staff only.

As an IIT student responsibility punctuality challenges have to faced.

The experience at IIT Gandhinagar was very fascinating , IIT is means indian institute of Technology which is very well known among Indian parents and relatives. Well taking about the university it is situated about 5 kms off Gandhinagar route near a village called Palaj . The laboratories over here are top notch and one would feel the different environment created within the laboratory just like the ones we get in US. The campus is pretty calm and decent it has lots of green culture around and has everything right from salon to book stalls.
The library is vast . The campus has a high rise building called LAL MINAR and once you're on top of the building and you'll see the whole Gandhinagar from there . The classrooms didn't feel much welcoming because of its seating arrangement . But well at last an IIT is an IIT

Best institute in india...with world class infrastructure and institute treats every students as adults ,so there is no restriction in going to girls or boys hostel...

The opportunities that I found after coming here are really encouraging. The number of foreign interns is increasing substantially. More than 50% of mechanical engineering students of third year went abroad for intern. Library, faculty, classrooms all are very good and we would be shifting to permanent campus by December 2014.

This is a very new building, unlike the other major iits. Greenery has been a priority, so that's awesome and yeah!!
Hostel have a AC! Which again is quite a rare thing!
Food is also good, i won't say excellent but it's good.

Very neat with self explanatory sign boards. Beautiful buildings, alluring art anarchitecture work in the poarch area.

This is a public engineering institution located in Gandhinagar.
Infrastructure is Superb and it's well planned too.
The solar panels have been recently established in this campus.
You can find a good canteen inside the campus too.
It's quite large and you can find a quiet place to sit and relax if you ever visit here.

IIT is a distance of 10 km from Gandhinagar. This is made from a very fine arquittech. On the other side: Computing has been made. Oral India is due to the study of the Culverified Conduit. Very good facility and beautiful facility. Within 10 km distance from Gandhinagar, bus passage is the main railway station. On the other hand, there is a bus crossing Chiloda village in the distance of only 5/6 km. There is 24 bushes available for transporting only any shores of Rajasthan, Ma, State of Gujarat.

I am the member of the team RND GUVNL. We have recently shifted to IITGN. My dream comes true to work in IIT.

One of best campus but college inner construction very damaged.

It's very big campus. Rooms with ac feels you good when you there for examnianton or study. Good experience at IIT Gandhinagar.

It's a new IIT, but a great institute with excellent facilities. I had been here for a training. It's very hot here during summer and that's the only con I can think of.

Food in mess is delicious...and canteen is also near riverbank...

This is one of best IIT. Bulding designs very good. Clean area and placed on remote location. I visited there for conference and staff is polite to support.
Local canteens are good enough and providing nice food.

I am not aware about study and ranking but overall the place is very pleasant.

I think it'll be a great campus once developed fully.

One of the top engineering colleges in Gujarat.
Located not too far not too near from Gandhinagar the place is just fantastic, it is neat and clean having so many trees, although the place is very big you won't get lost because of perfectly placed Sign board, security guards are very helpful too.
It is also a green building, having solar panels and three everywhere.
Although the construction is still going on the place is very silent.
The Infrastructure is fabulous, every block is designed uniquely, the facilities are the best, with zero pollution and fresh breathable air.
Canteen hasn't so much to offer but the view from canteen is awesome.
This Place offers world class infrastructure of classrooms, labs, conference rooms, auditorium, sports complex, hostel facility along with some of India's best teachers to learn from.
It is really a great opportunity to study here.

Eight IITs were started in year 2008 namely, Hyderabad, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Ropar, Patna, Mandi, Gandhinagar, and Jodhpur. All of them now have shifted to their permanent campuses. As their NIRF Rankings tells a lot about their relative growth they have done, in academics ( by starting new courses viz- IITH started B Tech in MnC and B Tech in AI, IITRPR started MnC and various 5 year Btech/Mtech, IIT Mandi started B Tech Data Sc and Engg Phy, Bio Engg dual. Similarly IIT BBS has also amazingly improved its academics so its ranking also ) , research, Faculties strength, infrastructure , student intake, average CTC placement package .
I am bit surprised to know that despite being started with same rule and regulations, similar budget, similar open sky opportunities, what made some new IITs perform excellence as per the image of IITs , while few others are still struggling to recruit sufficient number of faculties to run a course even.( can some one imagine that an IIT is running a department with only 5 to 6 regular faculties : OMG), and starting new innovative courses like AI, ML, Data Sc, MnC ,Economics, Bio engg etc.and increase student intake. Patna and BBS has really done well in recent couple of years. I still hope that someday others will also go in line with IIT Hyderabad which has set a Yard stick for others.

IIT Gandhinagar is opp. to Sangath Mall & Anything HR Solutions, off New CG Road. Ahmadabad is few of those cities in India which has both IIT & IIM.

It has a plethora of sophisticated laboratories for different applications of science and engineering.
The professors are highly qualified and the campus is well maintained.

In an isolated location but not very far from city UBER is accessible

My college's campus is spread over 400 acres ,green atmosphere , pollution free and wifi campus, provides experienced faculty and best accommdation in hostel. There is lack of good market near the college and also there is no permanent playground as the campus is only 2 years old. For better industry exposure, my college keeps department trips for different branches on every Saturday and Sunday in first year. Hostel provides many facilities including study table, chair, indoor games ,late night running canteens, wifi, t.v, refrigerator, oven. laundry, housekeeping.Professors of my college are highly qualified and most of them have been graduated from world's top colleges.Communication skills of the professors are good and hence they can make us understand anything easily. My college is one of the best engineering college in the nation though it offers lots of short humanities courses. Life here is full of fun and friendship ,people enjoy everyday by their own way.
