My wife Renay and I recently made major purchase and bought a new 95% efficient gas-fired furnace for our home. Thank the good Lord we used Barron Heating. From the first phone call...to the first use of the furnace...was a road straight to Heaven. All of John's staff...from his admin crew in the office...to his crew that did the installation were cordial, animated, helpful, knowledgeable and were professional in every sense of the word. There was no mess...no problems...and no issues. Our home was was cool in the summer...warm when the weather changed...and we are as snug as a bug in the rug!! I think John Barron should head to Washington DC and offer his companies quality services....there is way way too much hot air coming out of that job site!!
Service tech was extremely helpful. Kept us updated as he moved from one part of the cleaning to another with photos before and after. Very considerate, professional, performed a ver professional job.; Highly recommend.
David was an awesome installation tech! He was friendly and efficient throughout the installation as well as thorough with the instructions on how to use our new heat pump! We enjoyed our interactions with Gil in sales and he accommodated our schedule by meeting us at convenient locations. I feel I can always trust the Baron teams. Not only do they show up when they say they will, but are respectful of their surroundings, making certain they do not track in dirt, etc. The service performed today was furnace, air conditioner and gas fireplace maintenance. Daniel McCoy did an excellent job today in explaining the status of my home's ducts and furnace, describing what needs to be done, when it can be done, the specific costs involved, and his recommendations to meet the needs of the home heating system. I viewed the duct leakage repair video after viewing the current condition of my home's ducts via pictures taken by Daniel. I am impressed with Daniel's knowledge, professionalism and kindness. He was efficient and considerate, and answered all of my questions and concerns.

Had a small crew of Patrick, Ian and Gurinder to repair a section of duct work, then clean 16 registers and finally AeroSeal the entire ducting system throughout the house. They came at 9:00am and didn't leave till after 4pm. They were very polite from the beginning, always took off their shoes when returning from outside and made no mess what so ever. When all was done they had me turn on the air conditioner to see if everything was working right and it was; but more importantly after the cleaning and aero sealing the volume of airflow was greatly increased. Thanks Mr. Barron for polite, cordial and well-trained technicians who did a great job representing Barron Heating and left my wife and I completely satisfied with the job.
I had Barrons and another vendor put a quote together for a whole home replacement for heating/cooling. I ended up working with Wes who was out several time designing the system and taking me along with to make sure it did exactly what I wanted it too. I went with Barrons over my other quote because Wes was passionate about the project. I was surprised when I met the installer Jacobi and found out he was equally passionate about the project. They kept me in the loop from beginning to end and were a pleasure to work with. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the install and the performance of the system so far.

We just had a heat pump system installed in our home from Barron and we're thrilled with it. Their team was exceptional from the initial visit assessing our needs and the house requirements all the way through installation. They explained, in detail, how to best get maximum efficiency with easy to understand direction. They were all very professional, personal, friendly and respectful of our home. It was kind of fun to see all the Barron vans in front of the house. The neighbors were quite curious so we spread the word. The install took less than a day and they also have their own electrician team. They even did the paperwork for us to receive the P.S.E. rebate. Just finished this year s yearly checkup of the heating system, and from the scheduling to Brent s visit today it couldn t have gone smoother. Ray and Brad were out to my house to install a new Carrier air conditioner this past Saturday. They spent the entire day making sure the job was done right. Before they left, they made sure we understood how to use the new equipment and were satisfied with the job they did. The outside unit was installed with what appeared to be greater care than my original AC unit. They added concrete anchors that were never used in my original install. They also used much more attractive insulation on the refrigeration line. When Ray ran into a minor hiccup about insulation in my condensation collection plenum, he quickly resolved the issue and made sure my wife was happy about it. Good job guys! From Brian and Royce, who came out to my original trouble call, to Wes, who inspected us for fit and function of a replacement system, to these two guys, Ray and Brad, who installed the system, I am thoroughly satisfied with the service I received, and would definitely recommend Barron to my friends and colleagues who may be looking for air conditioning or heating services.

We just got a heat pump installed at our home by Barron Heating & AC and they did an excellent job from start to finish. Jacoby, Orlando and David were professional and courteous during the installation and exhibited necessary attention to detail. Aaron and Ethan were pleasant and thorough in their electrical work and Daniel was helpful through the entire process in service and sales. We have no problem recommending them to anyone considering a heat pump or other heating/air conditioning services for their home.
We noticed an air quality improvement right away after having our ducts cleaned, and the EAC installed. Noah and Mitch worked hard for hours in our two story home and did a great job.
I made it in right at 5 pm in hopes of getting a new ignitor for a furnace. The parts department was closed up, but this amazing woman named Kaylissa (sorry if I misspelled the name) from a different department went out of her way to help me. Bob McCoy is our tech. He was not only prompt, but very professional. Barron's installed our air cleaner and air Conditioner, and Bob helped also with our furnace that Barron had not installed. Without saying anything negative about the other co. he corrected a couple items in his service call, plus set us up the Silver Plan. We really appreciated Bob's help.

What a pleasant experience having Barron Heating & AC replace our aging gas furnace with a new high efficiency furnace plus central air conditioning. I have my furnace and fireplace regularly maintained, but yesterday's technician was by far the most professional of all the others in the years before. Merritt Washburn is a most knowledgeable technician who does not shun to go down on the floor to resolve this repetitive problem of the pilot light creating excessive black soot. It was explained to me by two prior technicians that nothing can be done about this, because it was a problem of not enough oxygen circulating and preventing the flame burn blue instead of yellow. Well, Merritt just shook his head, when I told him..... and he resolved that problem. He found a totally plugged pilot orifice, cleaned it, replaced the thermal couple and thermal pile and voila.... my fireplace pilot now burns a blue flame!!! If you want a diligent, professional technician producing RESULTS, ask for Merritt Washburn. I am a very thankful customer and will have my gas burners (fireplace and furnace) maintained again next year. Thank you Merritt Washburn!

We have been customers of Barron for many years & have always had excellent service. But recently we had our Silver Shield Yearly maintenance and ended up without heat for a night & day:-( Not very happy because my husband is disabled & we couldn't leave our home to go anywhere warm! They told me we might have to wait thru the weekend to get someone to come back & fix the problem. We finally got someone come fix the problem. Do not want a trainee to do my maintenance anymore"-(

The service technician, Caleb Statham, actually called and asked if he could come early. How refreshing. Caleb was very thorough and explained to me exactly what was going on with our system and what to expect in the future. He never tried to sell me on any parts or additional services.

Our house is 4,000 sf and they completed the work by 2:00pm.
They provided us with a "Home and duck inspection form'' and reviewed and explained the results. We also reviewed photos of the ducks both before and after.

The annual service on our heating and air conditioning units was completed smoothly. Items that could be cleaned were cleaned. Items needing inspection for wear were measured. All looked good and there is no need for expensive parts replacement now or in the future.
Kudos to Bryan Burkley for great service while preforming our annual furnace & tankless hot water heater inspection and maintenance. He thoroughly explained his procedures at the beginning and before leaving, gave us a summary of completed tasks, findings and preventive maintenance tips.
Since I work and don't have the luxury of waiting at the house over a four-hour arrival window I booked the first appointment slot of the day and was told the technician would be at my house between 8am - 8:30am. At 8:40 there's no technician so I call. They say he's on his way and should be there any minute. At 9:05 I call again and they say the technician isn't answering the phone because he's driving but should be there any minute, at which point I cancel the appointment. This is the second time the exact same thing has happened. These guys are clueless.
Brent was a very good representative for Barron Heating. He seemed sincere and honest, he completed the work and explained the service call completely. He up sold for Barron and installed the equipment while he was here. Brent answered all of my questions, seemed knowledgeable and was very polite.

I used to joke that Barron was expensive because they always had a ringer in Ski to Sea . . . no jokes anymore; they are worth every penny. They took over maintenance of a heater I bought from Lynden, an American-made Armstrong. In seven years or less it died four times, including twice in the coldest part of winter. It turns out the heater wasn't leveled when it was installed and that's probably what caused a pressure switch to go out one year, and for the condenser to repeatedly flood to shut-down point (I learned how to drain it myself, which was still unacceptable). In any case, Barron comes once a year, the heater is leveled, and all is good. They have space heaters to loan if necessary, and they stand behind their work. Oh, their prices are fair, their work is solid, and like I say, they are worth every penny.
We had our best experience yet, with Jon on 11-6-19. He did our annual furnace service and also took time to give us some great money saving tips. He was just awesome.

My recent routine maintenance was thorough, even including a look into the crawl space. Bryan, my service provider, was intelligent, friendly and professional. He explained issues in a way I could understand (I'm not exactly a mechanical genius). He was patient with my questions -- a great listener and communicator. He presented a number of services Barron provides and explained why they would good options for me. However, I never felt he was aggressively "pushing" them. Clearly Barron is a business and does try to sell those services, but his approach was convincing, while not not feeling like pressure. That was important to me because I hate that kind of business interaction. He also very kindly made time for a lovely conversation unrelated to the work he was doing. Everyone from Barron has always been great, but I will probably try to get Bryan to come again next year.
Brent phoned to say he would be early which was fine with me. He provided a thorough annual maintenance service advising of which parts should be replaced soon so the furnace would run at top performance. Brent was an awesome technician. Thanks so much!!

Our Heater went out Christmas eve morning. I was at work and my wife was out home with a 2 small boys. We called Barron and they sent someone out with in an hour and had it fixed. Just wanted to say thank you for the quick fix and exceptional customer service.
We purchased a Daikon Ductless Air Conditioner. Ricky and Sam were the technicians that installed the unit. We were impressed with how professional and informative they both were! Brandon is very professional and personable. He arrived on time, got right to work servicing my furnace, hot water tank and fireplace. When finished, he explained the details of the Maintenance Contract I could purchase as well as telling me that everything he serviced today was in good working order.
Barron performed scheduled maintenance ($365) on my Navien tankless water heater, which they had originally installed. The water heater seemed to work well immediately after the technician left and then, the next time I needed hot water it turned itself off and would not come back on. I had to call their emergency tech who did not arrive until 11 PM. This is typical of Barron service. The techs are friendly and courteous, but one of their service calls is usually followed by another service call to fix what the first tech screwed up. I'll be looking elsewhere for any further service needs. And do yourself a favor: don't ever buy a Navien tankless heater. They are disappointing, expensive pieces of junk.
Although we had some hiccups along the way, the staff were attentive to resolving our issues. Wes was a pleasure to work with and very helpful in determining the best heating choice for our home and situation.

He knew every aspect of each system and the pros and cons of the many different configurations available. When the installation team showed up, I was instantly reassured that I made the right decision. Ray Hall and Brad Robinson know their trade and every aspect of the installation they were precise, and professional. They were willing to explain the whole process and taught me a lot of how my system works. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Amazing service, great value and the highest quality installation and system available. I purchased a Daikin system and am extremely happy with its performance and it is so quiet! I am confident you will be extremely happy if you use Barron.
We received outstanding service when our furnace went out on Sunday, December 24th. Because it was a weekend, and a holiday we weren t expecting such prompt response from the answering service nor from our technician, Lane Anderson. Lane had several calls ahead of us but kept us apprised of his ETA. He was very efficient, thorough, and pleasant. He apprised us of the potential need to replace our aging furnace and the reasons for it. We will absolutely call Barron Heating when the time comes.
I picked Barron out of the Yellow Pages and WOW. I needed a balanced heat flow and got so much more. Courtesy, efficiency and timeliness seems to be just part of the Barron DNA when dealing with customers. I don't know if they were the cheapest, but I won't go anywhere else.
Poor service, no one returns my calls. They advertise emergency service but did not provide that to my retail business in which my customers were freezing because my furnace would not work. It is a two year old furnace purchased from Barron's. Will not shop there again and will find another company do my repairs.
Barron Heating and AC is a Professional, Quality Company. We had AC put in our home 2 years ago and we had our annual system check and everything is working very well. We have had no issues with this system for the nearly four years that we have lived here. Great people!
WE would like to thank the Barron crews that did the fantastic work on our home. Just before the smoke problem began our heat pump died. Kathryn called Barron's and they had a crew here in 48 hours! On Friday they sealed and cleaned the duct system and reduced the loss by 97%! Many thanks to Patrick, Bill, Noah, Ian, Mason and Kevin for the outstanding teamwork they showed in a long day of work! On Saturday, the new heat pumps and accessories were installed. Again, the organized teamwork was superb! The team was Aaron, Brian, Brad Scott, and Alex. We now have the best air system in our home with the cleanest air possible and most efficient system you can have thanks to Barron's. I want to especially thank John Barron for putting this all together so quickly with such great crews!! WE are so very pleased!!

All 4 guys, Patrick, Bill, Channing and Elliott, were great! They continually monitored inside that no leakage was coming through and were careful of my hardwood floors! They even vacuumed up and cleaned up when they were finished. Much appreciated!

We bought a house about a year ago with a high-end hot water system driven by a boiler made by a division of Bosch. I noticed that one of the fittings in the system looked like it was corroding, and wanted to have it looked at. The Bosch web site only recommended one dealer in my area, Barrons, so I called them. Their service rep confirmed that they are a dealer, scheduled a tech to come out the next day, and asked me to send a picture of the bad fitting. I sent an email with pictures of the fitting, and in about an hour I received a call from the service rep. She said that their service manager looked at the ticket and pictures and said that they would not service my system since they did not install it. What?!? I asked her if they had any recommendations, and she, clearly very upset, apologized and said no.
I assume they aren't training their service managers on proper customer service. I wound up going with another company that provided outstanding customer service.
UPDATE: The owner of Barron called me to personally apologize for the error and committed to making sure he addressed the issue with his service team. Kudos to him for taking the extra step to contact me and assure me that this is not the type of service he strives to provide.
Technician Joseph Marcuzzo did a thorough service of our furnace and made clear recommendations for replacing our elderly ignition device and out of date CO2 monitor. He also resolved a vent problem that had plagued us for a while. He was quick and efficient, but also took time to carefully listen to our concerns. A pleasure to work with. Thanks.
