I scheduled a repair to my mini-split heat pump as it is not operating. I made the call on a Thursday and set an appointment for their soonest availability the following Monday afternoon. Due to high temperatures and poor air quality conditions due to a nearby forest fire we have had our 2 year old inside in uncomfortable temperatures. However it is livable, it just would be nice to have repaired in a timely manner. I didn't mind waiting for Barron as I had not used them before but as a building industry professional and small business owner I have had past clients state they have been satisfied with their service, as a result I have recommended them numerous times to clients on a weekly basis. My schedule is busy with a 2 year old, dogs and as a business owner and I highly value my time. My appointment was scheduled between 2pm-5pm and I was to receive a call when the technician was on his way. Well, after taking the afternoon off (costing me money) keeping my dogs in the hot shed and waiting at home all this time, no one showed and I did receive a call from the technician at 7:55pm stating he obviously wasn't going to make it. All of this could have been better managed with proper communication. I now still have no AC and need to call to reschedule..? I guess I'll have to find somewhere else to use and someone else to recommend to my clients.
