Edgar was attentive and very accommodating. Extremely friendly and helpful.
Also, pricing is more reasonable than you'd imagine compared to other dealerships.
I drove 25 miles just so I can save over $100 on the same service.
Skip Puente Hills Mazda and go to Mazda of Orange.

The servicing of my Mazda 3 was superb.
Things were found that were more than just a service and my bill did not include these items.
I drive around 16000 miles a year on business and need a car in "tip top" condition-- I get this with Mazda of Orange.

This review is solely based on their service department, as I had a wonderful car buying experience.

Now onto the service. I got my oil changed here before and it took about 4 1/2 hours but they did give me a ride home and picked me back up which was nice. But this review will just be about my experience on Saturday 7/2/16.

I took my car in because the passenger door wasn't shutting properly, I had to slam the thing to get it to close. I did have it serviced recently to remove a dent caused by an angry motorist but figured something might be up with the latch. Anyway, I take my car in and within an hour they called me to tell me that my warranty didn't cover the damage to the car because the car door was bent. I didn't ask for proof because well, some ***hole decided to kick it pretty hard. Fast forward a couple days and I take it into a body shop on the recommendation of my insurance company. They had 2 technicians look at it and told me they don't see any bends on the door or door frame. They took it into their garage and found that rubber stopper in the door latch had come loose. They just popped it back in and I was on my way, free of charge. This second appointment took all of 10 minutes and cost me $0.

As for Mazda of Orange, I don't even think they took the time to look for any other possibilities for the door not closing properly, other than their made up "bent door" theory. I would've given a 0 if I could've but they earned their 1 star because my service rep was nice, the shuttle driver and the car wash.

His customer service is professional and he is so friendly and makes the whole process so simple. He got me a loaner vehicle right away and within a few days my vehicle was ready to go. Customer representatives keep you informed while your car is getting some work done. When my car needs something, this is where I will bring it. One short fall - I had a coupon for an oil change with car wash and vacuuming. The engine service went perfectly, and the car was washed; however, the inside was not vacuumed.

Beyond excellent ! The service department always ...

Beyond excellent ! The service department always goes above and beyond in taking care of my vehicle and me. They are polite, do excellent work on both maintenance and repairs, are accurate with time estimates, provide free shuttle service to and from my house, and even throw in a free car wash. Luis was my service coordinator and he is the best!!!
Would not take my car anywhere else.

I purchased a new Mazda 3 Hatchback Preferred Trim from this dealership a month ago. Initially my car buying experience with this dealership was smooth. It wasn't until 2 weeks after I purchase my car from the dealership did I realize the finance department made mistakes. So much to the point where I really do regret dealing with them...Here is a quick list of some of the issues I encounter:
- The finance team made multiple mistakes on my paperwork. Which resulted in me returning 3 times to sign documents that should of been done the first time around.
- My paperwork was not process properly. They wasn't even aware of the mistake.
-Their foolish mistake caused the car I traded-in to be paid off after 23 days. (It would of been longer if it wasn't for me following up.)

Honestly if it wasn't for the poor execution of the financing team doing their job, i would of actually gave this dealership a 5 out of 5.. Mazda of Orange will never get my business again. They left such a bad taste in my mouth.

I am extremely happy with my last visit. I think the gentleman s name was Luis that helped me. I went in for a recall and a window fix. The fix was expensive, though this time they did not try and up sell me for anything. The 4 stars is because the previous time before this I went in and was being up sold on everything brakes, tires and those I did not need. Wasn t happy with that but I hope that the visit I had last will continue.

After months looking for a car,I got in touch with Chuck and he was able to get me more than I wished for at my exact budget. Very easy, everything was taken care of within the same day and was excited to drive away with my brand new Mazda. Ray helped me get to the price I needed and Pat thoroughly explained all the finances. Even after driving away I got a follow up call from Chuck to make sure my car was exactly what I wanted and that I was still happy with my purchase.
I would highly recommend taking a look at the competitive pricing this dealership has.

This is strictly based on the service department. I made an 8am appt for an oil change. When i was signing my car in it turned out there were 3 recalls. A PCM update, coolant check/replacement, and a cold weather program update. While i understood what these were the advisor was not able to explain beyond printed text on a printout. I was told that if i did the recalls they would need the car till noon. I had an appointment in an hour so i asked for the loaner car. I was told they do not provide loaner vehicles. There was a display of their "Advantage club card" right next to him that states free loaner provided. Somehow my name or car was not linked to having this card that the salesman pushed at every other moment. I was then told i would be provided with a rental with Hertz. So got the rental, which was an embarrassment to Hertz, and went about my morning. I had to call at 1pm before walking into an appointment. I was transfered twice with no answer before i had to hang up. I called back at 345pm. I was transfered back to front desk 3 times because there was no answer at service desk. When someone did pick up they did not know the status as my advisor was in a meeting. Apparently only the advisor is able to see the status of my car. I was told that he would try and see the status of my car. I was on hold for 27 minutes before the line was picked up again. My new time was 530pm. Since i received no call at 530 i started over to dealership. At 545 i actually got a call saying my car was ready, with no explanation of delay, and that they would be closing in 15 minutes. Since i was unable to get there in time i had to wait for the next day to pick up my vehicle. Maybe this was because everything was complimentary that i was given low priority or no need for updates when original time was surpassed. What ever the reason, they only provide the first oil change as complimentary so i will gladly return to my trusted mechanic and have a knowledgeable and courteous advisor with less hassle.

They were unresponsive, didn't return phone calls, and finally had the audacity to tell us to call back Aug. 31. Going to Mazda HB and will contact Mazda USA to make sure my sentiments are echoed and others do not suffer.

Very shady. They will stand firm on their internet price, which is fine, then hit you with an additional $1000 fee for dealer installed alarm system. They refused to sell the vehicle for the advertised price and then tried to make up a story about some problems with the car that they failed to disclose during the hour we spent inspecting the auto. There are enough legitimate competitors within a short drive there is no reason to even consider buying here. This is the worst dealer experience I have had in over 30 years of car buying. Save your time and money and go straight to Tuttle Click Mazda in Irvine. We headed there after the fiasco at Mazda Of Orange and had a great experience getting exactly the car we wanted at a fair price.

I called the day before and spoke with three different people about a vehicle. Gabino on the phone, Jakelin via text and email, and Katie on the phone again. I was concerned about an accessory that was included in the quote I was sent. Gabino told me via text that it was already installed on the vehicle. After speaking with Katie and expressing my concern about this add-on, she said "we're not willing to lose you over a couple hundred dollars" and encouraged me to make an appointment.

Upon arriving, there are signs posted requiring face masks, however, many employees were not wearing them correctly and had them either under their noses or pulled towards their chin. I checked in at the front desk and no one seemed to know who Katie was, but Alec was willing to help me out.

After test driving a couple of cars, I made it clear that I was prepared to buy and had financing pre-approved. Alec sat us back down and presented me with a price sheet of what the car would sell for if I took it today, which was the sticker price advertised on their website. After expressing my concerns about the edge guards and that there are comparable or newer models nearby for less that what he is offering, Alec then asked "what would it take to earn your business?" and left us to talk it out and write our ideal price on his estimate. After coming to a decision on what we'd be comfortable with paying, another person took over the transaction, briefly introduced himself, grabbed the paper I wrote on, and brought it to what I assume is the managers office. We did not speak to Alec from this point.

This person insisted that the price offered was quite a deal and in the 99th percentile and that the only vehicle to beat his price was hundreds of miles away. I countered that it's not comparable to the prices I located myself, and this person revealed that he had no idea that I even wrote a counter offer on the sheet he took back, so he had to go back to get it. The most he was willing to negotiate on was adding the edge guards for free, which I already made known that I was not interested to begin with. It was clear that he was not willing to drop anywhere below sticker price despite providing him with several comparable options that went for far less than what he offered. I was told to "go and look elsewhere" several times and felt as though they just wanted me out the door instead of being treated as a serious buyer.

Unless you're interested in being treated like someone that thinks sticker price and free add-ons that provide no real value are a deal, I would not recommend this place to someone looking to purchase a vehicle.

The worst experience ever I took my car to get service on January 06, 2020 my car was making noise. I was told it was normal however 2 days later I got 4 for violations for the 91 express!!!! I've been talking to the managers there Mary and Eric they both have told me that they've been paid it's now 02/03/2020. I've called the 91 express lane and they have not paid! My tags are do and I cannot paint them until that is taking care of I've been calling service asking for help And it seems like they keep giving me the run around I haven't heard anything from them they don't return my emails or calls I would never recommend this dealership! I purchase cars at the Dave Wilson location freeway Honda never had this issue I wish someone will please message me and talk to me about this!!!

bought a car a few months back, what should have been a fast and easy experience ended up taking around 6 hours total, even though i was paying in full. car managed to get a scratch on it while they were doing inspections (or whatever the mechanic was doing) which meant I had to take my car right back for repainting and retouching

getting in contact with Mazda of Orange can be difficult. The receptionist is the only one that picks up 100% of the time. Any department she transfers you to on the Mazda side (other than sales) will usually lead to a voice mailbox. strangely enough, the few times I was accidentally transferred to the Ford side, the people there picked up every single time.

Henry (sales manager) was pleasant to work with, nice guy.

the car itself is great, haven't had any issues, its been a very fun drive. there were some safety recall notices, but i got those fixed at a closer dealership in a few hours time, no issue.

decent dealership, just had a unfortunate first time buying a car.

Contacted to order a part. Was on hold for 20+ minutes. Was quoted one price and was told I would be called to confirm the part had arrived. Never received a call. Called to double check part had arrived, had to wait 10 minutes on hold. Part was picked up and was $30 more than I was quoted on the phone before tax. I called and to be placed on hold for another 15 minutes to discuss the issue and needed to disconnect to handle a client before they could come back to my call. After this is resolved I will be taking our part needs elsewhere for our shop.

Bought a CX5 with a maintenance agreement. The way I remember it you have a certain number of oil changes & breaks. Well to my surprise its only good for 76000 miles. Had 4 or 6 oil & break changes that the dealership says are gone . When purchasing they made it sound like you could use them till they were gone. Totally understand a mileage cap on a extended or regualr warranty. Won't be coming back to this place. Lesson learned...

I had the best experience ever. Everything was done as it was supposed to be done, even though I didn't make an appointment they had everything done in an hour. I was amazed at the percision and details that Edgar offered. He is a man of his word. So hard to find people that are honorable to their word now these days. I had an oil change my car washed and the car display changed in my vehicle. Very impressed. I live out in L.A. But it is always worth the drive to have an experience like that. Thank you Edgar! It was reassuring to know that all the high tech functions were working properly. There are many different high tech features to learn with this Mazda CX5, and the navigation system.The Mazda service staff have been most helpful answering questions that arise.They included a complimentary car wash after service visit, very positive experience indeed!

This review is for the service department. I went on a Saturday - their busiest day for service and I was not impressed. It was my car's first (free) service so they did the oil change, tire rotation, exterior wash+wipe, interior floor vacuum. Firstly I waited 30 mins in line before the worker collected my car keys. The service was completed earlier than I expected, about 1hr 30 mins. But they did a shoddy job at washing the exterior, especially the wheels, mirrors and rocker areas . I had to tell the 2 workers to specifically clean the alloy wheels before I drove the car off the lot. First service for new cars bought at the dealership is free but that is no excuse for doing a shoddy job.

I bought my new Mazda cx 5 from this dealer 6 months ago. I took my car in on a Friday to get oil changed and assess why my tire pressure light was on. I also got a wash. I was quoted a wait time of 1 hour but i ended up waiting 2 hours. When i picked up my car it still had dirt spots and was dripping wet; i didn t have time to complain. The next day my tire pressure light came on again. I called the dealer to schedule an appointment. When the called me back they left a message with a return call back number that was MY OWN CELL NUMBER . I called the man who sold me my car. He said i probably had a nail in my tire and that i should take it to a tire place because they don t do tires there .... which is suspicious because the Friday before they rotated my tires and as i waited i observed tires all over the walls of the waiting room. After he finally agreed to take another look at the indicator light, he said he would transfer me to schedule an appointment but hung up on me instead. Not good service for a brand new car.

It felt more like meeting up with family. 2 weeks into driving my new CX-9 I am thoroughly happy with my purchase and would highly recommend stopping by Mazda of Orange if you are in the market.

I can say a lot more but will not waste my time to type more, short and sweet The Worst of the worst what a shame for Mazda, will never ever buy another Mazda, I had a Kia soul before the best service on the planet. will definitely go back to Kia. Before taking off with my car, Vinh, another specialist thoroughly explained all the cool features of the car. I ve had other premium cars from Bmw and Lexus but none of them were as nice and insightful as Mazda of orange. Thank you!

Finding a trustworthy dealership that doesn't price gouge and does quality work is like finding gold. We have been taking our 2015 Mazda 3 to Mazda of Orange for service since 2015. They are courteous and friendly and treat us like family. Their work is always excellent and their prices are fair. Give them a try. You'll be happy you did.

This time was more meaningful to me because I had been fretting over a potentially costly repair for my older car and the service rep assured me that it may not be necessary given the age of my vehicle. They will continue to monitor my vehicle for this issue and let me know when it's necessary. I appreciate that level of honesty.

Don't go here and plan in getting financed. Drove 2.5hrs and they refused to honor mazda loyalty discount /down payment . They also refused to honor the advantage club down payment I was promised of 1000$. Don't trust anything they do promotions wise. The cars are accurately posted as far as Carfax records go, but the prices are not. They may honor the internet price but more then likely try and debate that on you unless you have picture proof.

I had a very positive experience in my purchase of a 2021 Mazda CX 5, at Mazda of Orange. My salesman Hector was very patient and let me browse the lot. He was able to answer all my questions and helped me make my decision with no pressure. I love my Grand Touring CX 5 snowflake white exterior with a parchment leather interior, very classy looking. I felt the Mazda of Orange team took very good care of me and appreciate there efforts in making my experience positive.

Last July they were able to help me get financed with a cosigner when another dealer (Mazda Southbay) was giving me the run around, asking for so much info and documentation. Salesman Gabino Luna was very understanding of my credit situation. Along with his boss, they were able to get a bank to finance a brand new 2018 Mazda 6 (crystal soul red color) at a low interest rate with my dad cosigning. I also took advantage of being a Costco member and took advantage of the Costco Auto program pricing. Today I took my Mazda 6 in for the complimentary first oil change and will be paying for Android car play to be installed since mine is the base sports model. I also will be getting 15% off of the parts and installation for being a Costco member.

After my wife and I bought our 2017 Mazda CX 5, I went to buy accessories at their Parts Dept and Ramon who attended to me was so helpful and honored our Costco discount coupon and loaded the accessories to our car. A few days later Erik, Service Consultant handled the installation of some of the accessories. He went out of his way to be helpful and the job was done right, on time and I got the car out vacuumed and washed---just superb service all around.

Went yesterday to help a friend lease a car, and it was the easiest experience I've had at a dealership. Fernando (Sales Representative) and Neri (Sales Manager) worked with us and prior to our visit and everything went as expected when we got there. Jason (Finance Manager) was also quick and efficient with us. If you're in the market for a Mazda, give them a call! Oh, and don't believe Neri when he says he doesn't know how to play ping pong!

The dealer works with Costco and offers special pricing when going through the Costco auto program. Highly recommend going this route. Made for an excellent experience all around.

I took my car in for servicing and it was a lot more than I expected but the service person Raul was very courteous and understanding and explained all the work that needed to be done and told me also what was priority since i was on a budget. When I picked up the car the service people were all very courteous and professional. Even the shuttle girl was very nice and I didn't wait long for the ride to or from work. Nice experience. After getting my car back I have to say it drives nice and smooth like new so I guess the service guy was right on what really was priority. I don't feel bad that I spent all that money since my car runs like new again! Thanks Raul!
