Allstate Roofing came out to remove snow and ice from my roof. They were responsive to our needs and very informative. Their costumer service was friendly and reliable when I had questions Highly Recommend!!
Like many other homes within the Rochester, NY area, my roof received a significant amount of wind damage over the past few years. Looking for knowledge and guidance, I contacted Allstate Roofing to help me with this issue. The following is how they helped me get a new roof on my house.
Firstly, Allstate Roofing walked me through the very difficult insurance claim process. They educated me on how claims were conducted and what I should expect. They personally dealt with my insurance adjustors by working with them and going through every line item maximizing my end claim amount.
Secondly, Allstate Roofing then worked with me to come up with a end quote amount for my roof that suited my roofing needs while still staying within my original budget and minimizing my total out of pocket expenses.
Lastly, once the contracts were signed, Allstate Roofing had a crew out to my house within 7 days to install the roof. The team that showed up was amazing! They were extremely professional, courteous and worked incredibly hard to put the roof on in a little over one day. The kept the yard, driveway and deck very clean and nail free.
Needless to say, the end result looks fantastic and I couldn't be happier! I cannot thank Joe Occhipinti, Randy Allen and the entire Allstate Roofing company enough for all of the help and support they provided for me during this process. Thank you again.
Allstate roofing is a great company. 5 different contractors said that our three season roof was impossible to guarantee and 2 firms wanted to replace the entire room at thousands of dollars over our budget. Only Allstate did the research to find the tight combination of products and craftsmen to complete the repairs as a reasonable price. The entire team was competent and efficient. We highly recommend Allstate Roofing for any roofing problem.
Walter and his crew are committed to top quality craftmanship. I can speak to Roofing gutters and siding. I asked to have a gutter placement adjusted and the team arrived quickly to make the fix. I will have the do new driveway next year. I trust ARM.

Incredible company! believe me I shopped around and this company is honest and hard working. price was excellent. Paul is amazing and took the time to explain everything. The roofing crew had our house done in 1 day working from 8am to almost 7 at night. they protected and cleaned along the way. they even put all of my flower baskets back exactly where I had them. not one nail left to pick up! purchasing a roof can be scary with so many dishonest companies, Do Not Hesitate, Allstate roofing is great! my roof is beautiful and done perfectly! This company put up a gutter on my house without my permission, when confronted they said they had the wrong address. Very unprofessional to make a HUGE MISTAKE LIKE THIS.
They will be fixing the issue in an hour I will update my review after they fix it since they seem extremely nice and genuine to come out and fix it

I was quoted a price for a 1 day roofing job. Was told that said job could take up to 2 days depending on weather and difficulty of the project. The entire project from start of construction to finish was 15 days. During the length of the project my yard was left in complete disarray. The laborers that were physically working on the house left cigarette butts, lunch trash, and all debris produced from the roofing project where it fell off of my roof on my property, as well as my two neighbors properties. The debris included anything from old shingles, new roofing materials, to nails and staples, completely surrounding my house. There was no daily cleanup as stated in the signed contract with the company. The final product was also sub-par and was not inspected by any managerial position until I had to contact them directly and ask for an inspection with myself present. In addition, debris continued to be present around my property as well as clogging my gutters which caused issues with draining properly during inclement weather. After the extended project, several do-overs by the company, and personal work done by myself with cleanup, I was delivered a bill for the entire quoted price, which I paid timely- I do not thing that should have been the case given the fact the project took 7 times longer than quoted and that the level of unprofessionalism was astronomical. At the end of the 15 days the final product does seem to be adequate and my property is acceptably clean- which took an extreme amount of communication to get done. If it was a rating based on final product I'd be giving a 4/5, the process 1/2

Showed up for one out of 3 meetings, never gave me an estimate, called them about what happened for the second meeting and never called me back about anything.
After the wind storm and snow storm that we had this past winter, I noticed that I had a leak in the ceiling of a second floor bedroom. I have two attic dormers on the front of my home which lay flush to the roof, one of which is over the bedroom with the leak. I was referred to Allstate through a contractor that had recently replaced the windows on the dormers. I had contacted a few roofers prior to my issue and none of these contractors came to my house. That in itself is a mystery to me. Allstate came out to my house quickly, assessed the situation, explained what would need to be done to address the issue with the dormers and within in a day gave me a quote and spec sheet of the needed repairs. I had to have the front portion of my roof replaced to get at the needed repairs for the dormers. Again the dormers lay flat on the roof. In less than a week, a dumpster was delivered, the next day the materials were delivered and within two days the repairs were started. The two gentlemen that made the repairs were at my house everyday for 2.5 days from sun up to sun down. They had to remove the old roof, install the new roof and sealed and sided the dormers. I am very pleased with their workmanship as well as the cost. I would refer this company to anyone that is looking for a reliable, reasonable contractor and would contact them myself in the future if I needed any other repairs.
Joe O was a fantastic salesman. He was great at communication. He was very helpful with the insurance process and answering all my questions. The crew that worked on my house was great. They were there on time (early) and worked very hard and did a great job on my roof.

Had a significant amount of roof damage after the early spring windstorm. The project manager, Jason, helped me work with the insurance company to get a full tear-off and replacement. The actual roofers dodged a couple significant thunderstorms over the course of a day and a half to complete the job, always successfully tarping over the exposed parts to prevent any water damage. Very satisfied with the quality of the work. Would highly recommend.
This was a great experience for our second use of Allstate Roofing and More! We used them on our previous home and will keep using them! John K. was our sales rep and he was fantastic! He followed through with his word and gave us great service! He was the reason we ended our search with Allstate. The team that came to do our roof were quick and efficient, and the follow up was timely to complete a few punch list items that needed to be corrected. There was no fussing or saying that we were being picky, or this wasn't their responsibility, Zoryan just came out and did the finishing touches, and now we have a beautiful roof with appropriate ventilation. We will refer everyone we can to Allstate and will give them John's number for sales! Thanks to the whole team!
One item... You know it's a quality company when someone from the original team 6 years ago comes to the house as a supervisor this many years later! Really says something about the company!

Long story but... I needed metal roofing material for a small custom grill gazebo. A friend referred me to Allstate and game me the sales lady's number. After she took the info and failed to get back to me for several weeks, I left a review explaining my situation and disappointment. Allstate responded that same day by apologizing and telling me "Erik" would be in touch to take care of me. Almost 3 weeks after that and I'm still waiting for "Erik". This company is a sad excuse of a company. I only wish "0" stars was an option because they gave me "0" customer service.
I don't know how to reply to your reply so here it is. (Edited me original review to reply) Your rep and/or Erik NEVER talked to me or EVER provided a quote. After my initial call asking for a quote, not a single person from your company ever contacted me again even though I reached out via reviews. If you didn't want to sell me the product for whatever reason/excuse, someone should have simply said we can't/won't be able to help. End of story.

Good price and in depth explanation of roofing systems (good for those like us who are doing a roof for the first time). The crew was hard working, fast and respectful - also did an excellent job cleaning up after the job was done. Very neat and tidy work, and the roof shows it. Occasional delays with communication, but an overall very good experience and would recommend.

Buyer beware! Scammers due to the windstorm. Told me I have 22 squares when the four other companies I had out told me I had 16 squares. The quote was for $22,000, which was 2 to 3 times higher than everyone else, including the other GAF Master Elite roofers I had out for a quote. The guy who came out to my house kept insisting on knowing who else was coming/came to give a quote. Avoid like the plague. This company deserves to be turned into the NYS AG's office for price gouging after the windstorm. All of these other reviews must have been done by friends and family.

I had leaking skylights and had trouble getting roofers to come give me quotes due to all the wind storm damage from the Spring. I called All State and they did send out a salesman promptly. We got some other quotes but went with All State's higher quote because of the GAF Master Elite guarantee. I waited 2 months before the work began. When the day came the truck with all the materials arrived but no crew. A phone call to the office and the crew was still on another job. So I waited another day before the work started. The office called the next day to ask if the crew could work on Saturday and said "great". The crew never came on Saturday. The woman in the office was nice but did not know why the crew did not show up. Once the roof was done I noticed the garage roof was not done so I called to get them to come back before the dumpster was taken away. So now it is September and the gutter extension was not done and the crew had left out the box vents. I called and they would send someone to do the gutters. At this point I had no confidence in the company. Everytime I called I was given another person to talk to. So I hired a home inspector to look at the roof. He said I did not need the box vents. OK but they still had to added the gutter extension. Finally on October 10 the gutter was complete. Today another person called me to find out if the project was complete and I said "yes" but wanted the cost to be reduced do to them leaving out the box vents. The project manger got angry when I wanted the price to be reduced. He wanted $80 and I said $100 and started yelling at me! I think the company should work on interdepartment communication. The roof was completed but it has been a very long drawn out process to get everything done.
Be aware they use subcontractors and their own crews. I probably should have waited for their own crew to do the work, then maybe things would have been completed all at once.
Great job responded to all questions. Clean up was good. Would definitely recommend.
They did a great job on both of my properties after the march storm. They also helped me to get my insurance to pay for full roof replacement on my house instead of a repair that my insurance company insisted on

But after having their company reach out to me, I can honestly say they have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and happy as a costumer. They addressed all my concerns, and treated me like I was a valued costumer. I feel confident that my future dealings with Allstate will be positive. I did not have a great experience with this company. We went with them because we were on a deadline they said they could work with. But we ended up having to call several times to get them to schedule the instillation of our roof in time to not lose our insurance. Then after the roof was done and we were waiting for the gutters to be done (by a sub contract company) the finance company kept calling asking if the work was done, we told them no we were waiting on the gutters. The roofing company called and said if we did not tell the finance company that the job was done our insurance would cancel us. We finally got the gutters done and not to an acceptable job, they are not at the right slope and some are dented. It has been three weeks of calling and asking someone to come out and fix these simple issues. We are getting the run around and no one seems to want to fix the issue. We are paying a lot of money for the services we had done we expect them done correctly. If we wanted them done poorly we would have hired a child!
I worked with John and I can say that it was one of my most positive experiences with anybody with any company. He treated me like a real person, not somebody trying to make a quick dollar. I appreciate John Knapp and everybody at Allstate for their kindness and help!
Tim Reese from Allstate roofers was a godsend -he called back within hours, came out with in a couple days for an estimate and within a week -redid the roof - THATS SERVICE. We had trouble with our roof leaking that had been done by Dan Fulmer - NOT Done Well - leaked every 2-3 years kept having damage. Hopefully Tims crew did the trick.
Joe was very knowledgeable and thorough. He made sure we understood everything and took care of repairing a leak we had. We chose the GAF Golden Pledge limited Warranty to give us a worry free roof for at least the next 25 years. Would definitely recommend them. "
I have to admit-- I'm annoyed. I set up for a quote for my soffits because one of them came loose and needs to be replaced. The receptionist said that I needed to be there for the appointment, so I made it from 5-6pm. I liked the idea of being there anyways, because I am a new homeowner with questions. The guy showed up at 2, didn't call to tell me he was there, and left a quote in the mailbox for almost $3000 to replace all of my soffits. Not what I wanted at all. I'll call somebody else.

I am happier with my service from Allstate. After our mix-up, they rectified the situation, and gave me great service to make sure I was satisfied...after I wasn't. I appreciate the time they took to make me happier, and the rep that came out and gave me a new quote was very nice and professional. Thank you again.
I am probably extremely late on the 411 but I had my roof done in January of 2018. Not only did I want a different color but i had one issue that just made me say tear it off . Luda Came did my estimate. Gave me many options on colors and textures of the shingles. Told me specifically step by step what was going to be done. Even showed me how she estimated the roofing. Told me the guy who would be calling me, and also the guys who would be coming to do the roof. Not bad pricing either. Very professional and very knowledgeable. Luda, and the guys that worked on my roof live in Rochester and I m here in buffalo. They literally were here on time the couple days they were here. Complete tear off and very neat clean up lasted if I remember 3 days. And only 3 guys. So yes I would definitely recommend not only this company, but those 3 guys who came in freezing cold and handled business like it didn t faze them and esp. Luda for making sure that the people not only kept in contact but that everyone did what they had to do. It s nice to know people will k.i.t. During and after to make sure it was all done to my expectations. Thank you guys. You did an awesome job. That brown I had before was horrible lol! Thank you Luda again for handling business. : )
Allstate Roofing supplied my home with a beautiful roof and two years later when I had an issue due to wind, they came the next day and not only fixed the one issue but checked out other areas as well. So thorough and easy to work with. Really appreciative of the service!
It is a rare thing these days to find such honest, trustworthy people who are in the business of helping others. Allstate roofing company employs just that. They stand behind their promise and their roofs are amazing. They worked with me and my insurance company to make sure our roof was safe and done right. I would recommend them any time for any job big or small. They just know how to care for their customers, listen to their needs and deliver a high quality product!
Overall they did a good job. However, I have now been waiting over a month for completion of some details related to the gutters. A portion of the final payment was held back. I have contacted them twice.
Started the process on April 2020 for skylights. Got several estimates and looked up reputations and reviews of all the potential company s and decided Allstate. They were not the cheapest but close to the other quotes. Andrew was my rep and was very knowledgeable about the products. We ended up getting two Velux solar skylights 24x63. Delays with the product during Covid-19, and a slight problem with communications that got cleared up quickly. Window Installation was scheduled and they showed up timely. The Installers changed the plan with our permission from two south solar skylights to one on North and one on south peak West side of house. The change made the one that was to go on the East part of house would have been too close to the fireplace. We could have still gone with original plan but agreed with the balance of windows on the roof/ceiling. Our choice for skylights was to add light to our kitchen/family room/living room due to lack of light later in the day. Our covered porch takes away from available light after morning. And the kitchen always needed lightening even during daylight hours. Now there is so much light for the areas under the lights that we no longer need artificial light until dark. Even not so sunny days produces enough light to eliminate the need for that artificial light.
Then the trim team scheduled a date and were timely and super talented. We have pine ting and groove walls and ceilings. They matched that style wood and did such a great job with the wood work. I am waiting to stain and poly the wood as a winter project. I wanted to choose the color, lighter than the walls and ceiling so that it maximizes the light.
They insulated the area (attic space) when the wi Dow are now. All part of energy efficiency.
Remote solar blinds for those sunny days. We don t want the days heat brought inside. They also open with a rain sense that closes the window on rainy weather. The extra air flow during this summer was helpful keeping the house cooler. Great feature and worth the extra money for these blinds and to open the window (with a screen of course).
So happy with the final job. Professional workmanship, guaranteed with a warrenty for 10 years and is leak free.
I recommend Allstate workmanship and hope the price is one you can afford. Let s face it, price is a big factor and Allstate was with one other estimate close enough to be selected.

I would never recommend this company to anyone in the whole world! The salesman told us they would start in Oct once the material came in and that they would be very careful in the garden beds, and they would clean up when done. Sounds ok right? Not even close. They started in Oct, 3 days taking off all the old roof. We understood because it was 3 layers. The skylight guys came and did those. Now we are into Nov, they come to get started on the roof.They never talked to us about anything. We were constantly calling them. We had no idea when they d be back to work. Thanksgiving came and they were off for a week.
This went on for 4 months! We went away for Christmas and told them we didn t want them working here without us here. Now it s 2021! They still weren t done. They finished the mid Jan, now we had to wait for the gutter people. They came out and did their job within 3days. They told us when we signed the contract it would probably take a week to do the job. Well that didn t happen. They damaged our yard, crushed half of my bulbs in garden we had just put in the previous fall. Everyday I am out picking up screws, metal nails, broken glass. We have grandchildren who come over to enjoy the pool. We can t have people getting hurt here. They never cleaned up they left a pile of roofing materials, on our back patio. Their heavy machine sat in out back yard for 2 months. It gouged out big chunks of the yard, and caused ruts. I did make them sign saying that they will fix the yard and he signed. So this is why I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!! 1) materials left 2) just one pile of roofing and broken glass from who knows 3) the finished roof. It looks beautiful, that s the only good they get from us ever! We ll see if they actually fix the lawn.
From beginning to end Allstate Roofing team members were professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Everything was done in a clean and timely way with outstanding results at a very reasonable rate. I would not hesitate to hire Allstate Roofing again if needed. Final grade: A+
Allstate is an amazing business. Living in a "fixer upper" I have interacted with a great deal of contractors, most not being a positive interaction. I was floored by the pleasantness of the workers, both with each other and with my family. They set up perimeters and protection for plants where necessary without me having to ask, and they cleaned up well every night. Additionally, I appreciated that their style is to work hard (extremely long days) on one job so that they are finished very quickly! The last contractors took bits and pieces of two weeks to finish and did incredibly shotty work, whereas Allstate was done in THREE DAYS and the roof looks incredible. Our roof has some tricky areas with "dormers" right by the chimney and the last company left several leaks there... Allstate's job manager took significant time answering all my questions, and explaining the difference in what they were doing so that the leaking would not occur. Lastly, in their final clean up they go around the yard with a large magnet to be sure that there are no rogue nails, which had a much better result than the last company that left nails everywhere for my kids to "find" all over our yard.
So overall, I would highly recommend Allstate. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and incredible craftmanship really sets them apart. In addition to everything else they are a genuinely caring company. I actually won the new roof in a reach out to mothers, one of several people groups they're targeting for give aways... It was really nice to see a business being so generous and trying to reach people who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford a new roof. Thank you to Allstate for making my Mother's Day an incredible one!
Good experience with this company through what s always going to be a very cumbersome process with solar panels. Matt, Rebecca, and the whole install crew was on point.
We had AllState Roofing putting on a new roof. We went through our insurance. AllState Roofing (Luda Gladky) was amazing in their support and helping out with all the insurance stuff. Absolutely top notch. We filed a claim and Luda Gladky/AllState Roofing took care of the rest inspections/communications btwn insurance and us/planning the works. After all this it took them 3 days to do a full tear off and put a new one on. They did a good clean up around the house after the job. We can highly recommend this company and Luda Gladky and her crew to anyone.
Over a year ago, I contacted this company for an estimate on a roof fix..... flashing around a chimney and skylight. I only heard from them when they did their once in a while email blasts to ask customers if they decided to go with someone else. I gave them another opportunity to give me an estimate last week.... haven t heard a thing. I guess they don t need my business? Or maybe the job is too small. In my world, any job is an opportunity to gain a customer and have that person recommend to friends. And roofing is one of those jobs that people ask their friends and family for recommendations. I will definitely tell everyone I know to stay away from this company.

Mike and his crew arrived at 7:00 a.m. (I had no problem with the time) on Monday and worked straight through until almost 4:30 p.m. tearing off my old roof due to rain and snow leakage problems, plus removing a skylight permanently and boxed vents and everything else that gets done. Then they worked on installing some new plywood where needed, water/ice shields and everything else for a new roof to get me through the winter without a lot of major stress. Even my neighbors were calling to let me know that already the roof looked great!
On Tuesday, they arrived again at 7:00 a.m. and began doing everything to install beautiful roofing shingles, flashing, and all that stuff that I know nothing about. They finished the job at 4:00 p.m. The lawn was cleaned to perfection. Even an old ribbonlike shingle hung from the front tree and Mike kept jumping until he retrieved it as all the ladders and the gear they used were already on the van.
Mike and the crew were so nice and polite. The quality of their workmanship is beyond amazing. When my son-in-law saw it for the first time - a couple hours after the roof was finished - he said, "The house looks like a million dollars now," and a couple of my neighbors are in agreement with that statement.
I know I need new gutters in the future as these are from the late 1990's, and when I get them I will call Allstate Roofing again and hopefully deal with John, who was a superb person to deal with and very knowledgeable.
I just got home from work before doing this review and every time I see the roof, I can't help but smile. Thank you to all of you!!! Sharon

Allstate Roofing subcontracts to C.M Belmont who accuses employees of stealing, does not pay employees the agreed upon rate. CM Belmont also utilizes child labor. Tried reaching out to Allstate Roofing was told by the owner there was nothing they could do about it.
Least professional experience in my life.
This company has poor workmanship! I did not know a new roof a whole tear off mind you, would have a big repair list. In my eyes this is not a new roof any more. This is a nightmare! All my eves/ shingles can be lifted up on all edges of my roof all the way around the house, starter strips were not installed correctly per GAF standers and they were all nailed to high. There fix for this was to calk all the ends, not GAF guidelines and would not be covered under the warranty even if they said it will be, not true! Now I have some bubbling shingles that shows that this roof again was not installed correctly. Also had a roofer go up and seen high nailing. All my metal trim mashed in all the way around my house, flat roof was not installed right per GAF guidelines , they left exposed wood as well and cut a piece of the siding off over there to, gutters damage, chimney with gobs of black calk on it looks bad, staples on the metal trim on my front porch, then they had to replace wood that was rotted on both sides and it's uneven and one side has 3 saw marks, its bad that they guys doing this thought that was total expectable. It has gaps and its exposed wood as well. shingles are laying on the sides of the front porch are all wrong looks like they are bunched up and looks uneven, looks bad. What's really Embarrassing you would think Allstate would care there guys cut the siding off my dormer 6 feet up on one side and other side 8 feet up, you see flashing and exposed wood and that can lead to leaking and say I am so sorry and say they will fixed this the right way . There fix for that was to calk it and put wood over it, Are you kidding me! This is how a large business resolves a problem when there guys cut siding, wow! I want to know who in there right mind would cut siding off someone's house and think that's ok? They want to give me Band-Aid fixes on my new roof. I guess that's the way Allstate does business is hiring sub contractors luck of the drawl you might get same people who came to my house to come out to yours. I have a leak with my new roof. My old roof never leaked! The leak now over my dormer and I asked them to come fix the leak in a emailed 1st got nothing back. So then I called them and said yes they got my email they know I have a leak and will have someone call back and that did not happened. The next morning they did send out one of there top guys Igor, there words not mine one of there best guys and he can't fix my leak . He can't find were the leak is coming from. He said he thinks it's coming from down inside the wall and then going down but he can't fix it because he is not sure where its coming from sorry and he is leaving me with a leak, are you kidding me.. Igor could not fix my leak , so I did call Bill the manager to let him know they could not fix my leak and the 1st thing he brought up was you owe us money still and we want our money! I told him I still have a leak and then he started yelling at me like has before and I told him I am hanging up I will not be yelled at any more by you and put it in a email. This is not the 1st time Bill has yelled at me and I felt bullied by him and he has lied to me. I don't trust this company any more and don't feel comfortable dealing with them. Never in my life have I been treated so badly. Right now I am dealing with the BBB. Now he is saying from my BBB complaint I have to let them fix it they have the Right to Cure and for everyone reading this just so you know in NY State does not have a law in place for The Right To Cure. They are lying again. Look it up.. I would not recommend this company to anyone!
I strongly encourage anyone thinking of using this company to do some research. They are difficult to work with when an issue arises with the work that was done and promised.
Unfortunately to get our issue resolved, we now have to get our lawyer involved.
I am sure there are many great companies out there so ask friends for recommendations instead of grabbing the first name that you see.

I m sure that all of the workers here are just as SPECTACULAR as John Knapp, this man was just so professional and took no time to get to business. He also finished the job insanely fast.
Had someone come out to "Give me a quote". Never received a call with a quote or even saying they couldn't do my roof. Total waste of time and unprofessional. Thanks Guys
We love Luda, when she came out to explain the process to us for wind damage made to our roof she made the whole process nice and easy. Unfortunately the insurance company didn t agree and even though it should ve been covered it wasn t. Our roof was completed Columbus Day weekend and we are still waiting for State Farm to pay it off. Luda has worked tirelessly with us and the insurance company to get them to over turn their decision. She has sent multiple emails, conference with too many calls, and has inquired on her own for months trying to get this settled. The previous review of this employee is totally false and ridiculous. Thank you Luda for your amazing service, I hope your company knows what an amazing person you are.

Allstate's sales lady "Luda" was extremely unprofessional and OVER THE TOP flirtatious with my husband. Perhaps this works to close deals elsewhere but not in our home. We will NOT be recommending this company or its employees to anyone.

Amazing company. They completed my mother in laws roof and it was a complicated project. The gentlemen did a fantastic job making sure her garden was safe along with her beautiful outside antique furniture. The job was completed not only quickly but also efficiently.
