I had leaking skylights and had trouble getting roofers to come give me quotes due to all the wind storm damage from the Spring. I called All State and they did send out a salesman promptly. We got some other quotes but went with All State's higher quote because of the GAF Master Elite guarantee. I waited 2 months before the work began. When the day came the truck with all the materials arrived but no crew. A phone call to the office and the crew was still on another job. So I waited another day before the work started. The office called the next day to ask if the crew could work on Saturday and said "great". The crew never came on Saturday. The woman in the office was nice but did not know why the crew did not show up. Once the roof was done I noticed the garage roof was not done so I called to get them to come back before the dumpster was taken away. So now it is September and the gutter extension was not done and the crew had left out the box vents. I called and they would send someone to do the gutters. At this point I had no confidence in the company. Everytime I called I was given another person to talk to. So I hired a home inspector to look at the roof. He said I did not need the box vents. OK but they still had to added the gutter extension. Finally on October 10 the gutter was complete. Today another person called me to find out if the project was complete and I said "yes" but wanted the cost to be reduced do to them leaving out the box vents. The project manger got angry when I wanted the price to be reduced. He wanted $80 and I said $100 and started yelling at me! I think the company should work on interdepartment communication. The roof was completed but it has been a very long drawn out process to get everything done.
Be aware they use subcontractors and their own crews. I probably should have waited for their own crew to do the work, then maybe things would have been completed all at once.
