I am trying to be as objective as possible, and I have no problem paying for utilities but this company is completely disorganized, unprofessional and will take any chance to nickel and dime you.. seriously BEWARE! We are a small business and moved into a new location, not only did they try to bill us for previous tenants use but they also billed us when the location was closed with zero use of gas in the middle of the summer... $60/month with absolutely ZERO use.. not fair, I understand a base account charge of like 10-15$... $60 with no use is excessive and clearly shows how much they care about small business and the consumer. So we completely disconnected our service and got space heaters I would rather pay my electrical company! And to top it off they are trying to send me to collections for previous tenants use.. Do Yourself a favor and avoid at all cost!

Set an appointment for someone to come by and read the meter. No one showed up but customer care claiming someone stood outside building with handheld machine and use it to figured out everything was normal with their meter. What a joke. Too lazy to do their job.

Ha Ha Ha who put 5 stars? Must be from an employee because their work environment is so relaxed. They offered me a 4 hour window to turn the gas on. Will not call ahead so someone can meet them there. When I asked, who is the customer? he laughed and said that's the way it is. But at least my call is being recorded for quality assurance.

Horribly inflexible with availability to close out...

Horribly inflexible with availability to close out an account. Refused to move an appointment back by 1 hour to make it fit my schedule. I understand emergencies happen but seriously? Maybe hire some more workers? I wouldn t be surprised if they didn t pay enough to attract new employees... Would give zero stars if I could. AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY DREADUFUL!!!!!

This company is unbelievable! I moved out of state and gave them the cut off date. They charged me the full cycle amount instead because, get this, their "technician couldn't read the meter because of an overgrown bush". Really? You've had zero problem reading in the past and that bush has never been overgrown. They also did not work with the homeowner (we rented) to fix this bill issue. He was fully aware that he was responsible for the second half of the cycle. They didn't send me a revised bill and then had the freaking nerve to send it to collections for the incorrect amount WITHOUT attempting to contact me first. They have my phone number. They have my forwarding address. Yet they put my credit score in jeopardy to get their way without putting in quality customer service and a fair chance. DON'T EVER USE UNITIL!

Worse utility company ever, and I have lived in numerous states so I have something to compare it to! I have not received a bill for over a year now--not online nor in the mail, and I've called numerous times which brings me to customer service. When I told them I have not received a bill, they implied it was my fault. LOL Evidently, they switched to a new billing system and have no idea what to do. The electricity is continuously going out. If we have a good wind, I can expect the electricity to go out for a few hours, and winters are the absolute worse. For a major utility company, it is pathetic. I much rather have PSNH over this tired company with old equipment that charges way too much for their reliability.
