Tim McDonald and Al Serra continue to operate in excellence. This is my 4th lease with Tim and each time the deal is done in a day. When I come to take possession of the vehicle the process is quick and efficient. This time we completed the process within 30minutes! I also had a tire replacement recently with Mark at the Buick service center. We were unable to patch my tire and he was able to secure a comparable loaner to my Traverse and fix my tire. Thanks Mark!
I could not be happier with the payment within my budget and with more options on my new Chevy 2020 equinox.
I would encourage gm financial to look at their tier rating system and consider some sort of rebate, incentive for those loyal lease members like myself who are going on more than 36 months of consecutive in time payments.

Not happy at all!! I bought a used car almost a year ago. Only 1 day after I bought it the check engine light came on. So I brought it back. To just have it checked out and to make sure it wasn't anything major. And they didn't wanna do anything at all not even look at it till I went to a manager and said I don't want the car. They looked at it for maybe 5 seconds and and said it was nothing. Which made me even more angry. Because why else would the light be on. Almost a year later the car starts acting weird. Hard start and some times not starting. So I take it back to have them look at it. Again they barley look at it and say it's my MAS. And tell me it would be $270. I tell them no cause I could just do it myself for $60 and under 5 minutes. They still charge me $100 just for looking at it. Which I understand. But when I replaced the MAS. it's still doing the same thing...

Steve Carnes is the man!!! This is my 7th vehicle I have bought from Al Serra. I was over in mileage by 65,000 miles and he was able to work the perfect deal in order to keep my payment the same and get me what I wanted. Need I say anymore. I went in for a 4 wheel alignment on my daughter's car. After waiting for an hour and a half, mind you I had an appointment, they still hadn't started the work! I was taken out and shown things preventing them from doing the work. I decided to take the car and do the work myself. As soon as I told them I'd have to bring it back, they then spring on me they were going to charge me a half hour labor charge, even though they didn't do any work on the car! So with an absurdly long wait time and unauthorized charges, they have lost me as a customer. I have purchased 2 cars from them in the past, and had other work done there, but they will never get another dime from me.

Took my vehicle to Al Serra because I needed to take it to a dealership to get a wiring situation repaired on my towing system. I figured it would be a simple fix. In the end, they had my vehicle for two days. It took them 6 hours to find the problem and cost me close to $400. I never had an estimate and was not shown exactly what they did to fix it. I still have problem with my cruise control that I declined to have them fix because the up front estimate was $100 just to look at it. In the end, the wiring problem was blamed on the business that installed my towing system even though it worked for three years. Even though everyone was friendly, I am not happy with the service that was provided. I guess I am used to being shown what needs to be done and how much it is going to cost instead of being handed a bill and expected to pay it blindly. I guess I will just have to look for a different dealership to work with if my vehicle requires a dealership to fix it.

The service department always has some lame excuse why the vehicle is not ready when promised. If you must take your vehicle to this dealership for service give yourself, extra, extra time so you are not late for work or your next appointment.

Most of the time I would give them a 5 star rating...

Most of the time I would give them a 5 star rating but recently I had a brake issue with my vechicle and took it in for service. After a $1200 front end brake repair I had another brake problem where one of my brake lines broke. I took it back in for service and I was told it would be $2200 to replace all of my brake lines. I explained only 1 brake line had broken and how much to fix just the 1 brake line. I was told they would not just replace the 1 brake line so I declined the $2200 repair and took the vehicle into a local small business repair facility. The total out the door repair cost was just $200 and they replaced 3 brake lines not just 1. Totally disappointed by this single experience and my advisor Eric.

Still have the same problem, but afraid to take it back because it will cost me more money. Already paid 3300 for engine replacement and then 350 for thermostat housing replacement. The car is still blowing cold air when it's sitting still.

Very easy process from beginning until end. The price was clear and the car was exactly as described online. I appreciate that Al Serra allows their sales team to do all of their own paperwork. It eliminates unnecessary time at the dealership. We signed the documents in less that 20 minutes!! I will definitely return to Al Serra for our next vehicle!

i had something done to my 2002 jeep and they treated it with the respect they would to one just off the line. i've never seen such an immaculate auto repair place. the people were great, very little waiting, good fresh coffee, comfortable chairs. beautiful showroom added to to the ambiance. actually enjoyed the wait. impressive!

Car: 2014 Impala LTZ

Car: 2014 Impala LTZ

Reason: Oil Change and Tire Rotation

Pros: Free of charge for purchase of car.

Cons: Wife and two kids went to get this service done. Both Kids under 3. She elected to wait in the waiting area while the service was completed. While entertaining the kids for over 2 hours, she decided to see why it was taking so long. The tech said he "called her name" in the waiting area, but neglected to check the waiting area where a woman with 2 toddlers would be waiting. Also, the service tech failed to try another method, a simple phone call to tell her the service was done. So instead of doing "something" he elected to do nothing to solve the problem or inform the customer the work was complete. It is important to note, we are talking about an additional 75-90 minute wait due to poor customer service with two kids under 3.

Unfortunately, there is more. When rotating tires and doing the multi-point inspection, I am willing to bet tire pressure is a factor. So imagine my surprise when I make my way on a business trip and find my front drivers side tire is sitting at 38 lbs and the rest at 30 lbs (appropriate pressure)....you are better than this normally. I hope this is not the new norm.

Very helpful and kind staff greeted me and gave me a free loaner while my vehicle is being serviced, Well cannot say much for mechanic, besides the recall I had a slow leak in one of my tires and when I looked at the pressure the next day I had to go put air in my tires! Also thought they would of sprayed down my car but I guess they don't do that.

1. Getting frustrated with recalls on my last two ...

1. Getting frustrated with recalls on my last two Silverados. Usually takes two trips to dealership to resolve problem. First to confirm that my vehicle needs the fix and second to fix the problem. Why not determine need and fix the problem if needed on the first trip.
2. I do not like being told I "need" to have a service done that the owners manual says does not need to be done. I was told I needed to have my transmission serviced on a recall visit with 26,000 miles on the truck. Owners Manuel has it done at 45,000 miles. when I questioned "need" I was told that when my VIN was put into the computer, it showed I "needed" to have my transmission serviced. Similar to changing oil every 3,000 miles when OM refers to the VIC which shows the life of oil based on RPM. This is usually around 6,000 before it gets to the 25% remaining oil life. I also do not like the fact that on the bottom of the check in statement when you decline unneeded service, it has this statement, "Customer declined service" That statement does not show up on final bill. It is a subtle form of intimidation.

This was easily the most fun I ve had buying a car, and I ve been doing it since the 80 s. John Peera is one great guy. He has fun selling cars and it shows. I like the no haggle approach Al Serra has.... one low price take it or leave it. I traveled 80 miles to buy the Corvette here, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The car was perfectly detailed and a full tank of gas. On my way home a check engine light came on. John said come back and we ll fix it .They took the car right in and fixed the small issue without hesitation. Thanks again John!

I took my 2012 limited edition dodge charger into the body shop to get a scratch on my right passenger side fixed and my rear bumper replaced. It literally took them three tries to get the problem right. Upon picking my car up the first time I noticed that they did a horrible job I had DEEP circular wheel marks in my newly replaced bumper, the side of my car had hair and air bubbles in the clear coat, and my car was EXTREMELY DIRTY. I made the manager aware of the situation and he bent over backwards to help me and said he would fix it. Unfortunately good customer service doesn't ensure a "good" job. When I came back to pick up my car I noticed "the same damage." I then decided to leave and that I didn't trust them to touch my car again. About six months after my service work was completed, the paint and the clear coat started to chip on my bumper leaving me no other choice but to return and have them fix it. They called me to pick up my car and yet again I noticed DEEP wheel marks in my bumper and a HORRIBLE PAINT JOB. It was so bad that I asked one of their employees (just from looking at my car) if he knew which repairs I had done. He instantly responded with the bumper and said it was noticeably different from the rest of the car. At this point I was feed up and extremely angry and walked the manager through every problem (ONCE AGAIN). After a couple of days my car was complete and yes, they did do a "better job" than previously but I was definitely not a 100% satisfied as I STILL noticed imperfections. I have done business with them PLENTY OF TIMES and this will definitely be the last! I would NEVER RECOMMEND them for ANY TYPE of body work! Excellent customer service, horrible work PERRIOD

I traded in my 2009 Pontiac Vibe for a 2015 Camaro which is beautiful with no problems yet , for my Vibe the dealer shows me a screen which I see what he says my Vibe trade in value at $2,000 and some change but the dealer says he will give me $5,000 for my trade so think this is okay. Come to find out after the deal is made and I am at home I look on the internet for myself on Kelly Blue Book I see a price of $5,800 as trade in value plus I work at Flint Auto Auction and my same car but in worse shape and a year older sold for $5,600. These bits of information grinds me because I feel a illegal scam has been made because he showed me a page that looked just like KBB page but with a $3,000 negative difference for trade in value than the one I checked for at home later the same day, are you guys using a self made up site to give disimformation which would be illegal and either way you talked me into giving you my car for even less than auction price.
