Bullying and vindictive managerial staff .was really surprise as they collaborate and bully the insured to side with their own .I had an insane email customer service staff lead who was hogging my files and provides irrational and illogical replies and refuse to remove the agent even.I told this woman to stop bothering me but she refuse to listen and continue wasting my time.i wrote to the feedback unit 8 times on this team lead poor conduct but they did nothing.so left with no choice as this woman continue to harrasse me I Cc emails to this staff to mas agency to deter the staff from bothering me but the staff still insanely keep writing to me when I write in to customer service for assistance or clarification and her harrassement intensify. I wrote her a strongly worded email to stop the harrassement as self defence. She took my email and lodged complaint with her manager in retaliation to complaint I lodged of her with mas agency. To my surprise instead of aia mangers looking into the matter and hear both side of the story I received a strongly worded letter blaming the naive insured and never address harrassement of their email team lead and worse were vindictive and unreasonable and even said I can't buy new policies from them when I have been their customer for a decade and I am the victim in the story.if this isn't abusive conduct and bullying the customer I don't what is .surprise that a USA based company can be so barbaric in treating complaint lodged of their staff and till now similar to the staff who was harrassing me the managers didn't not remove the agent though I have been writing in for removal of the agent till now as that agent is rude and aggressive take my commission via the policy premium I pay and the agent can scold me via emailand even sold me wrong policy. There is really a adverse drop in customer service as the managers and the team lead act like they own aia and bully the insured/victim when the staff conduct is at fault.pls avoid this company as the manager staffs do not look into complaint lodged fairly and anytime will turn into you and back stab you if they become unhappy with the customer who exercise his right.vicious lot of female staffs worse than midusa stay away.

Technically, what happens is that I terminated my policy but the amount don t tally with what they gave me in the booklet. The reason being that they say that every year the surrender value is different and depends on your accumulated amount! I have paid up to Feb 19 and the surrender value they gave back is not even half of what I paid. I feel that this company just don t deliver what is being said. All the figures in the book are just illustrations! Never gonna trust any thing from AIA anymore! And they have changed my agent so many times till the agent don t even call back anymore! What a responsible person! Up till now, after I terminated the policy, I still don t have a clue on who is my agent!

AIA has one of the worst customer service I encountered. I called in twice to check on my claims status. The customer service officer asked at least 7 verifications questions to verify my identity. Although I understand it is prudent to verify the identity, please do not ask questions such as: " What is the last 4 digits of the account no you pay the premiums? What is the name of your AIA agent? ,Questions that ppl that have difficult recalling the details.

NTUC Income processed my claims and paid me for the hospitalization claims weeks ago. I am only claiming for the daily income benefit and the get well benefit under the pink of health. Documents such as as medical certificates and Discharge summary with other supporting documents such as NRIC and application forms were submitted. Signature was also verified at the customer service centre. I submitted my claims in September 2018. The amount is not a large amount and basically it is a straightforward claim.

Till Date, no officer bothers to revert back to me on the status of my claims. When I commented to the officer that NTUC Income is much efficient and better, the officer can tell me theirprocess is different. The same set of documents can deliver 2 different sets of service standard, then it is time to review your process. I strongly recommend ppl to switch to NTUC Income as their claims process is much faster and efficient.

Received a call from their telemarketer, regarding medical shield plan upgrades. Told her I have upgraded about 10years ago (Couldn t remember exactly, I know it has been a long while.) then line was cut off due to poor reception. She called back and questioned why did I hang up on her, then followed by upgrading of medical shield plan is only recent, and you told me you upgraded 10years ago, you re bluffing. If you don t want it is fine, don t have to be rude. I couldn t believe my ears, if you had a bad day or you ve had enough receiving rude responses, honestly you don t have to vent it out on me. Called back several time and was declined, the one time it went through, instead of letting me speak, she said a bunch of stuff and told me you don t have to be so rude. Thank you and have a nice day! and hang up. WTF????
AIA Singapore, if you want to make a sales call, it s fine, the one thing you could do is to ENSURE your telemarketers went through professional trainings before making these calls.

Was there on 17 Jan 2018.Extremely unhygienic chairs for customers! No drinks serve. I got itchy after sitting on dirty seats. Such big company but stinge on seats! I am sure AIA will remove this post. It was removed before. But I will post to raise awareness. Now i attach the photos, they keep removing the photos of disgusting seats.

Bad experience with claims. Quick to collect premium but don't wish to payout when claim reason meets policy claim criteria. Customer service was corteous over the counter but when she called me, even with the call recorded, she was rude and kept wanting to end the call by saying "if there are no questions, thank you" when I have not spoken finish. I suggest buying insurance from other companies other than AIA & Prudential to not suffer like what I have experienced

On 31Aug2018 late noon, i went to submit my hospitalization claim documents by hand instead of by post so as to ensure all documents were correct and timely received by them. To my surprise, it was handled very fast and in an efficiently manner where I was led to 2nd level served with a small bottle of AIA mineral water by a smiley lady. I was promptly attended by Wesley Tan, a customer service representative who was warm and polite to attend to my needs within minutes. It was noted that the recent expansion of 2nd level was specially catered to premium clients and it was well served and deserved a 5-star like !

I made a request for some changes in the three policies, basically termination of the riders. Upon making the request and sending signed termination request, 6 pages form was sent after one week. For one termination I was asked to print 6 pages and send total 18 pages. Further if you see the form even when you print in Black & White, you will be wasting lot of cartridge due to shade of blue. Insurance is a necessary evil, you can't live without it but what is the point if you cannot make a claim when the need arises.

Considering how expensive it can be to visit the Pediatrician, I bought the AIA Star Protector Plus for my 2 kids. It has been 4 years.

The claim process has been smooth, if it is a claimable illness, I will request for a doctor's memo, attach the bill with which AIA will do its due diligence on the medications dispensed before making reimbursement.

Use app ask for postal code. Ask for postal code say can try next day and if cannot then meet on Friday which I already told them was busy. Once I mention cannot meet, get angry and don t want me to give postal code alr and ask to go down ourselves instead.

Corporate sales team makes false promises to get deals done then renegs on verbal the offer claiming they never said it. Make sure you record all communications with AIA staff to ensure they keep their promises. So far after signing up to their corporate deal we have had difficulties making claims on the policy. Two separate emails to the support team has been unresponded (aside from the autoresponse emails) for a month now. Now the sales team are trying to appease the management by giving preferential deals that means the team wont get what was originally offered by the unscrupulous sales team who clearly lied to get the deal done.

I became a AIA member last year with lure of their AIA vitality app program. I choose them in place of cheaper insurance pancage from other insurance company thinking the higher premium paid should give better reliable customer service and protect me from unforeaseeable risks (efficient reasonable reimbursement team). HOWEVER, after signing up AIA vitality with them for 11.5months, I am very disappointed with them. I have in more than one occasion have to suffer from their system lapses, they bounced back and give me my credit vouchers. However, 2 weeks ago, I clocked my 250 points - proof from my apple health. first it took them 7 days to reply me. Second, they keep asking for more and more supporting documents, trying to makes it difficult for me to get my $10 crefditonet for the week. My 7 other frens in the group also lost their $5x7 = $45 . $55 in total. I can t imagine if such simple health credits is bugged by slow inefficient and unreasonable customer service , how do I entrust rhem with insurance and ascertain I can get my rightful protection and reimbursement. AIA you have lose my trust and i won t come back to you ever again!!

It's already annoying to wait a long while to speak to someone when you call the hotline, don't make it worse by going through the motion of verifying identity for general enquiries that doesn't require client details! CSO should be discerning to know the difference than to go thru the motions.

Their Toilet is only for their Staff....We were told to go to the MRT station which was actually far away...what if we are old or disabled ???.... Very Poor Customer Service AIA. My company's employee insurance provider is AIA. It is an extreme nightmare whenever I need to call the hotline number 62488350. Inconsistent information provided by different agents and some of them are utterly rude. Can't even rely on them to send a copy of Letter of Guarantee for hospital admission properly.

The service sucks to the maximum. They don't deserve a single star. Luckily I only need to deal with AIA regarding the company insurance, I can't imagine the horror if I ever buy my own personal insurance from them. Better stay away from AIA.
