You can tell by the moment you walk into the dealership that they really care about customer service. I have bought multiple vehicles from them now and they were always attentive to my needs and budget. You can't beat a Subaru in Utah. I don't feel safe in the winter in anything else. If you have had poor experiences with dealerships in the past I would definitely give them a try. I also service all my vehicles with them and I know they are dealing with me fairly. Nathan Walker was my very first salesman. And he was super nice. He fought for me to get what I wanted and has always provided me with exceptional service. Nathan wasn't available when I leased my second vehicle but Lance took care of me. He did an amazing job as well. I found out Nathan is now head of service so I know my vehicle is in the safest hands when I get my oil changed AND nathan ALWAYS makes sure my vehicle is vacuumed and washed. I feel so bad because I drop it off looking like I practically live in it (we're all crazy busy right?) But the people in the service department make sure I pick it up prettier than I left it. they are absolutely amazing.

We have a Subaru Forester that we purchased factory crossbars from a dealer in Boise. After 3 months one of the crossbars bent while we had a bike ontop and I spoke with the dealer in Boise and he said that we can return the bars to them and get them taken care of, or if it is easier take them to a dealer in Utah. I called the parts department a few weeks ago and they said no problem, just bring them in and we will make sure it was a factory issue, just make sure you have the invoice. My wife finally had a chance to bring them in today and she was turned away and was told they had never heard of anything like this and Subaru would never take care of anything like that. If you knew they wouldn't then don't lie to me, and waste my time. I thought Young Automotive Group was better than this, but I guess not.
We love our Subarus! We have owned both Outbacks and Foresters, and Young Subaru has always been great to work with. Ask for Todd E. he's the man, and I highly recommend him if you're looking to get a new car.

My husband and I came to Young Subaru to look around at a safer vehicle. We found what we liked and traded in my car for it with no problems. They got us out with our new car quickly which I was super grateful for. After we got our car is when it turned into a mess.. We live in Idaho and traveled to Utah for this car so I understand there is a little more work that needs to be done with registration and such, but this has been a nightmare. First, I thought everything was fine until I find out that my old car had not been paid off by young subaru and my monthly payment was due for it. After COUNTLESS times trying to get ahold of someone and being told we'd get a call back over and over again, (I've gotten a call back maybe 2/12 times I've called) we were told it's taking longer than expected and to go ahead and pay my old car payment and they will reimburse it. So I pay my old car payment and tell them there's no way I can pay both car payments in one month, so they tell me they will work with me on that. (which I'm glad about) Then, I didn't get my plates for my new car as my temporary one was a day away from being expired- I then try all day to get ahold of someone again and this time the new guy was very helpful, he explained the reasoning behind everything taking so long and it made me feel a little better about our situation. He overnighted me new temporary plates.
But now I still haven't heard back from this dealership and my old car payment is about to be due again and it's still not paid off. I honestly believe that nothing will get done unless I keep bugging them and it's not my job to take care of this stuff. I highly regret going to Young Subaru and wish this would just get resolved already so I don't have to keep stressing!
*UPDATE* Our problem was resolved and definitely made up for. The guys at Young Subaru (Especially Torin) went above and beyond to fix our issues that had been going on. I will definitely be returning to Young Subaru for any other needs that I have.

Due to a hellish experience with Young Mazda I was nervous when walking into Young Subaru but not only were we instantly greeted by Hiram who stepped up and assisted when the person who my initial appointment was with ended up being busy. Hiram was kind, respectful, non slimy, and personalble. The entire experience was overall incredibly fun we laughed and were able to converse easily. When it came time to purchase my incredibly gorgeous car both Hiram and Jeremy were incredible and worked hard to make sure that I got the best t possible deal and felt comfortable with every choice. Clayton Sunley made my day at Young Subaru in Ogden, UT. I was with a friend who was purchasing a new car. I hadnt planned on buying a new car but I had been looking hard at the WRX STI for awhile. In the showroom there was a beautiful Plasma Blue STI that kept speaking to me. My friend purchased a new Legacy and when he was done Clayton helped with my STI. start to finish we had Claytons ear all day. From about 10am to 11pm between the 2 car purchases. Mine was a lot harder, but Clayton kept working my purchase and credit until I was happy with the terms. He didnt quit on me or try and convince me to "just sign" or anything unprofessional. Clayton was the best salesman I could have asked for and top notch guy. We were so tired from the day, and new to the area, he took us out to dinner and recommended a place for us to stay while our extra services were completed on our 2 cars.

Edit: There was just a perfect storm that happened to all come together. Ryan who is a sales manager reached out to me and clarified everything and went out of his way to make sure we got our original financing deal. If you have the chance to work with Ryan. I would do it.
I was intrested in a vehicle and set up a time to go and visit. When i looked at the price it a few days later the price went up a couple grand. So i sent a screenshot of both before and after prices. After not hearing back from the salesman i decided to personally call him. He picked up and said that he was planning on calling me back but he had been busy. I usually can understand that. But i also had seen other reviews on the vehicle claiming the same thing. That the price went up after showing interest. (If anyone is curious i have taken screenshots of everything.)
The salesman said that they conveniently sold it shortly after i showed interest and they bought it back because they had a customer (me) interested in it. And since they put it back into their system it priced the vehicle at a higher price. He did say that they would honor the original lower price. But after reading other reviews on the same vehicle about this happening to them i began to wonder if that story really was true.
I finally showed up to see the vehicle and it was very dirty on the inside. Again there were similar older reviews claiming this as well. I didn't care as much about that. It just was confirming my suspicion about the price jacking review on the vehicle.
We decided to get the vehicle. But after we decided to get it. They said they would have to run it through their shop because it hadn't been checked the 7 plus months it had been there. Which isn't nessicarilly a bad thing. Just frustrating when you want a vehicle being told to come back in a week. I didnt particularly feel the salesman was really batting for us. The whole "let me go see what i can do with my manager behind a door where you are not invited" spiel is always a fun game to play. I really didnt feel like we were being treated as individuals. It felt more like we being treated as a sale.
When we finally met with the finance manager we talked about options and then agreed on a rate and monthly payment. This was on a saturday. Most banking institutions are closed saturday afternoons. On the next monday i get a call saying the agreed rate and monthly payment is changing. Lower rate and higher monthly payments for a shorter term. He said the bank didn't want to do what we had agreed upon. Which is kind of disappointing. But I understand that he couldntc contact the bank on a saturday afternoon to make sure that finance option is available. It just isnt fun being called saying they thing we agreed on and signed on isn't going to work. The montly payment is a difference of $20 but its the principle of it all.
I've had experiences buying from dealers in the past. They can be enjoyable. This one however did not feel enjoyable at all. I felt like ive had to jump through so many hoops to even get this vehicle. Which shouldn't be the case. I never felt like i could trust anyone there. Spending lots of money on a vehicle is hard and stressful. Dealers have the responsiblity of trying to make it better. Not add to it. I'm not mad. Just disappointed in the whole process. If you choose to buy through this dealership I'm sure you might have better luck. As there a many good reviews. I wish i could have had that experience. Just be aware that you also might be treated as a number.
I've visited many dealerships and bought at least 6 new cars in my lifetime. Some dealers come across as sleazy and untrustworthy. Not Young Subaru employees. They are very honest, very low pressure, sincere, and focused on getting exactly the right car for you. They have a very nice inventory - I got to drive the 2013 Forester, the 2014 Forester, and the 2013 Outback - all very impressive. I've enjoyed everyone I worked with at Young Subaru.

My experience with Young dealerships in the past has not been the best and I was not planning on buying a car through this dealership but Lance McNamara (Sales Professional) changed my mind. He is the best car salesmen I have ever delt with! I did not fell like he pushed me to buy a car at all. The only reason I'm not giving more stars is because they have so far been unable to fix the issue of my backup camera glitching, currently on visit #4.

I don't expect businesses to be perfect, but I do expect them to fix it if they have messed up. I bought a truck from Young Subaru and driving off the lot it didn't run properly we took it back to the dealership and they ended up giving us a GREAT deal on an impreza sport. At first we were upset but the manager and workers did a great job at helping us and treating us wonderfully.
