Called them to ask for early check in, the person over the phone asure me was ok, then I make my reservation. Showed up at the place and the front desk gal told me, the check in is at 3pm, explained that I called the night before to ask about it, and she was annoyed and told me "we don't have room, and every hotel around here is the same, are you sure you want to cancel your reservation?" Yes! I am sure. Went cross street, to the Hyatt and they had a very nice room early check in + excellent front desk service. This is the last time I am doing a reservation to this wingate hotel!. Too many better choices to choose go there. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Brought my family to the city for a weekend getaway and a tournament. Reserved 2 nights at this establishment, which I have stayed at multiple times thru the years. This time was worse:
1). Our room was supposedly cleaned on day 1, yet the trash cans are still full, towels haven t been exchanged, beds haven t been made up. I asked about it and the hostess checked and said the room had been cleaned.
2). The next thing was went to breakfast at 7:15 this morning and they had the biscuits, sausage and eggs, but no gravy, asked for gravy and she said she wasn t making any today. No bananas or oranges for those of us watching our calories.
3). The kids were looking forward to swimming and I was looking forward to the hot tub, the freakin hot tub was colder then the pool . Not too mention they hadn t serviced the towel supply in the pool today.
4). The coffee maker wouldn t make coffee.
In my opinion this place that used to be a nice place to visit has turned into a joke.
My plan is to find a different place to stay the next time I visit OKC.
5). The mattress on the spare bed is completely shot and has a big whole torn in the side of it upon our arrival.

Staff extremely polite. They were under construction, but we were notified upon arrival with an apology. However, other than the walls in the hallway looking rough, we were not in any way affected by it. Room was clean and comfortable. Extremely quiet during night. Continental breakfast was very good!!

Pool was under maintenance and couldn't use it. Whirlpool was a good substitute. Room was basic and bed was very comfortable after an exhausting day.

Nice enough. Some hairs in the bathroom and a stuck faucet. I've paid a lot more to stay in far worse places. Would stay again.

My group of 7 high school students and an adult checked into this hotel on a Monday night. As we were settling into our rooms we found drug paraphernalia (dime size plastic bags & a needle) and sex toys in one of our pull out couches. We alerted the manager. They gave us two other rooms for that night so they could clean & "inspect" our room. The next morning we had to move all our stuff back into the first room. Wednesday evening, we found needle number 2 on top on the picture frame in our bathroom. We told the manager once again the next morning, in hopes it would be taken care of by the time we came back, it wasn't. We went to the front desk, where they alerted the housekeeping manager who simply came in our room took the needle and mopped up the bloody floor. Take into account we are 17 year old kids, having to deal with the lack of hospitality that could have easily been taken care of before we arrived. No discounts or apologizes being given. Very disappointed with this experience.

The rooms were OK but the staff wasn't at all helpful

Dirty. Lobby flooded water just standing and had to walk through it to get to rooms still that way the next morning.

Good for an overnight stay. We would come back when needing a place to stay by the airport. Free shuttle was a good plus

There was an interesting smell walking in and the walls are so paper thin I didn't feel much privacy. However, everything was clean, room design was nice, plenty of outlets, USB outlets and welcoming staff

Merely adequate at best. Was missing an entire 2 foot long piece of front facing counter top, toilet seat was incredibly loose and chipped/stained in multiple places, I had to take off the sink faucet's screen to clean it out because water could barely pass through, showerhead was rusted, dresser had multiple broken handles, and the bed felt like we were sleeping on a rock. Overall, was very disappointed. Was the second Wingate we've stayed at in the last month that fell well below our expectations. Won't be making the same mistake again.

I dont recommend staying here. This hotel is extremely dirty! Shower leaked water constantly, mold everywhere in the bathroom,sink handle was broke,and the hallways haven't been vacuumed in a long time.

1st day so far so good. No pool or hot tub available today. Gym under construction. Nothing noted on website about anything being down.

I called on March 1st in the early morning and booked 3 nights with your hotel for March 6, 7 and 8th. I had a confirmation number of 807680 and I was greeted by the receptionist letting me know the hotel was booked solid for the days. I was very upset to say the least. We were in town for the OSSAA state basketball championship. He then told me the confirmation was showing I was booked for March the 20, 21, and 22, which is totally ridiculous. Needless to say, me and my party ended up having to go look for a hotel room for the night in a booked solid town. CERTAINLY not a happy lady. I hope this doesn't happen to someone else. My opinion is that they over booked the hotel and it was a first come first serve basis and I got screwed. How can you be assured you have reservations with this hotel if you indeed have a confirmation number.

Not bad stay, close to airport, free shuttle if u ask ahead of time (was explained on check in) our room needed some TLC a full bathroom remodel wouldn't be an exaggeration. Beds comfortable ez in & out location close to 2 major hiways

Close to the airport, room had fridge and microwave. Pool didn't look so clean. Price seems high for the room

Had to change room because the linen wasn't clean. The second room wasn't too much better. The exit door was broke whereby you couldn't go out and return thru same door.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in.
The front desk staff need mayor training on good customer service. I am unfortunately still staying here. But after getting ate with bug bites, my husband, daughter and myself all have them. I have pictures to prove it. As well as having to sleep in a room over nigbt with a btoken clogged toilet. Even though I had informed the front desk staff 3 times. Even though I paid for a week, my family and I will be leaving way before the 27th.

Everything was clean. The lunch was especially rich eggs with cheese.

Horrible. Booked in advance for a family vacation and they failed to tell us the pool and saunas were broken. Was so loud because they were fixing bathtooms walls ect.. Rooms smelled of mold. We walked in then left. Don't waste your money here

Dirty and barely worthy of 1 star. Bathtub had mold and mildew, A/C only blew low speed, light bulbs were burned out, and the breakfast was lacking Attention. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED

The receptionist made this visit amazing! When we arrived the linen hadn't been changed and was nasty; however the receptionist at check in on 1/19/2018 around 6p had no problem giving us clean linen so we could change them and was very apologetic. I had a bad headache that had been lingering for the 8+ hours it took us to get here and she offered me some great advice to help rid me of the headache. If not for the receptionist being so nice this would have been a terrible trip but we are able to make the most of this and enjoy our visit.

The entire experience went well. The lobby was extremely nice, halls were clean and the presentation of the room were great. Beds were extremely comfortable. The location of this hotel is perfect, plenty of resturaunts surrounding it and its 2 or 3 minutes from I40 so you can easily traverse the metro area to get to anything you could ever want. We will be staying here again in the future. Finding a good clean hotel in okc is hit and miss.

Good service, good breakfast, decient coffee, pool hot tub and sauna all worked. Room was clean and mattress was comfortable.

We had a great stay! Had some mix ups with online booking and the staff worked so hard to fix it without inconveniencing us.

If I could give it a zero, I would or even a negative. It was my husband, my two kids, and I staying in a room. Just as everyone fell asleep, I felt something crawling on my arm, I go to look and it was ant! So I didn t think anything of it till I looked on the table were my kids bottles were at and ants all over them, all over the table, and all over the side of the bed. The only reason why I didn t say anything was because my kids were asleep and I didn t want to have to wake them but I stayed up the whole night to watch them. As soon as my husband woke up, we left. We told e front desk and all they said was I should of told them that night so he could of switched us. I got videos of it. By far the worst hotel I ve ever been too. Never again!

Needs some repaires, be remodel and updated. Services is good.

Clean rooms, great breakfast, nice pool, great value for the money

This is our 6th or 7th time staying here. We love the freedom to play games with family in the lobby. This visit however has not been comfortable. Our room is great until you go to the bathroom. The toilet is falling apart and makes you tentative using it. The shower is a mess, the shower rod is falling off, curtains cannot stay closed, porcelain broken in the tub, paint on the floor and sink. I reported it to the desk and was told they would contact me with information and never heard from them. Usually the breakfast is good, today it was terrible, seemed old and dry. We are leaving tomorrow and most likely will not use this hotel again. This is sad for us, because we have had so many wonderful memories at this hotel.

Wasn't awful, just seemed like there was some attention to detail missing in maintaining the room. There were ants all over the kitchenette in the suite. The AC unit was not functional and had to be on full blast next to the bed which was incredibly loud, or off completely. Bathroom looks like it was just fresh towels and wiped counters, the floors were visibly dirty and needing to be mopped.

Laying in bed with my 2 year old watching a show and see something crawling on the bed. I thought it was a baby roach because I ve never seen a BED BUG before. I didn t want to wake my son so I try to fall asleep only to feel something has bitten me. I turn the light on to see THREE of these bugs. A quick google search leads me to be very positive they are bed bugs. We travel often and this is my first encounter. I m sure they are like roaches, where you see one you know there are MANY more hiding out. Disgusting.

Rude staff, rate fluctuates, too much, dirty pool, staff lounging around, mismatched curtains in front window

They gave us a great deal when we stayed here after the tornado in 2012 took our home. I appreciate these people

Here's why we were not happy with this Wingate location:

When we walked in there were two young women at the front desk, neither looked up or greeted us, both continued with their computer work and answered the same phone call, we stood for several minutes before either acknowledged us. There was no smile or greeting. When asked where things were locally we were met with blank looks. We asked for a listing of churches and were told there might be one in with the tourism flyers (there was not a listing there) There was no offer assistance for directions or Mapquest. We then asked them to mapquest the churches and one young woman did so reluctantly. This is NOT an usual request when in an unknown area. Very poor customer service, we felt we were interrupting them from their computer games. They did not seem to have a 'people' personality. On the second night, the back door handle was ripped off with the only access to the hotel through the front door, both side doors were not operational.

We have stayed at other Wingate locations which were top notch, this facility did not live up to the corporate name.

Worst service ever. When I called for airport pickup, agent told me that I had to schedule the shuttle service 24 hours prior to the arrival. Since I did not schedule I was told there is no driver available. By the time I reached the hotel there is no one at the front desk. 20 mins later the front desk agent showed up as he went pick other guests from airport in the same shuttle which he told me driver isn't available as I did not schedule the pick up.

I would never ever book in this hotel again.

Great value for money; definitely consider for overnight stay if you have a layover in OKC.

Bathroom was nasty, the non smoking room smelled like smoke and while at breakfast there were small roaches climbing on the wall.

I got this hotel on an extremely good deal from a travel website, so I have to say the price of the stay was on par with the quality of the hotel and the room. We arrived late, and the parking lot was completely filled up, so we had to park next door at the Italian restaurant. We were a little nervous, but nothing happened since we were up and gone before the restaurant was even open. The hotel was not run down, but the front lobby was by far the cleanest and brightest part of the building. The fitness center was a tiny room with an elliptical, treadmill, and two weight machines. There is a snack and drink machine area, but it was very poorly stocked.

When we arrived, the staff that helped us seemed quite unprofessional. The main front desk clerk had on an untucked white dress shirt and was very lethargic about his job. The other employee was in a t-shirt and just looked like a random person behind the desk, especially because they chose not to help anyone while we were waiting.

The room was decent, with the bed not being the most comfortable, but it wasn't too hard to fall asleep and stay asleep. It was surprisingly quiet in the room, especially since we were on the first floor. Maybe the hotel was empty and no one was walking down the hallway, but we never heard any loud footsteps outside the door or above us. The lamps didn't all work, I suspect there were burnt out bulbs. The bathroom was very dirty and grimy. I felt like I had to wear socks in the bathroom at all times to not step on anything disgusting. It was hard to tell if there was paint or mold on the ceiling above the shower. I spent as little time in the bathroom as necessary.

For the price I paid, I'm fine with the stay. The location was great, since it was right off the highway, and made for a quick trip to downtown. There are better looking hotels around the area, so I'll likely be looking at the other properties in the area if I stay in OKC again.

I m gonna give Vick 5 stars! He treated me very well and handled things with professionalism!
For a 3 star hotel, I rate this one 5 for Vick s customer service!

It exceeded my expectations to be honest. The continental breakfast was above average.

This is the worst place I've ever stayed. DON'T stay here. There was a large pile of bagged garbage on the second floor by the nasty, dirty laundry facilities with ants crawling all over it. We had ants in our bathroom, the soda sleeper was in horrid condition with springs missing. The towel shelf was hanging off the wall. The carpet was stained and the bathroom floor was discolored in front of the toilet

Great place...clean rooms... Great staffs... At a great price.... Can't beat it!!!... I'll be back....

I stayed 2 days during my business trip,first night I feel itchy on bed,I thoght I was sensitive,luckly I did not get bit,but send night my husband got bit from something all over his body,hand leg.
Next morning when I checked out,I told front desk that my husband got bite from insect and should spray that room,he did not even said sorry,he said ok,I will take care.
I smell the damp when I entered door everytime.
I will not go back there again.

Fleas, Humid, wet sheets, mildew smelling rooms.. it's just ran down but ok for 1 night stays. Do not reccomend for longer stays when telling the front desk the sheets were soaked we got a very rude look and just given another room which no wet sheets but still humid and smelling like mildew.

Well...I suppose the most important part of a hotel to me was the bed...that was pretty good. I slept well. The bathroom was a iffy...two spots that I would call gross, but the rest was alright. The couch was...decorative at best. And...if you didn't know, it is possible to die by air freshener in an elevator...it was a close call. Take the stairs.

Good enough for a one night stay, five minutes from the airport. But if you're going to be there a couple of nights for work or something, go somewhere nicer.

This place is phenomenal for the price. Great breakfast selection, pool, small exercise room. Clean rooms, and great service. I've stayed here once a year for three last three years. Not the Ritz, but better than any other inexpensive motel I've stayed at.

The hotel itself was extremely nice. When I first walked into the lobby, I was impressed by the detail that went into decorating. As for food, there were numerous options all within walking distance of the hotel. The bed was fairly comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed for daughter's first birthday, nice pool and hottub, hottub was just right not to hot and not cold. Nice big rooms. Couch was comfortable according to my 6 year old son. The shampoo and conditioner smell amazing. Great price for the stay and breakfast was free on top of it!

Update: i somehow managed to leave my galaxy 7 very expensive phone u called when I got home and realized left my phone number they called me back and found it great customer service!

Booked on Orbitz. It was extremely affordable considering the quality of the room. Very clean, very comfortable. I would only wish for some healthier breakfast options.

The hotel looked nice. The lady at the front desk was really nice. But there were cockroaches in the room. Ewww!!

The hotel was great overall, just had a little bit of wear and tear, but a great price for a nice evening of relaxing!
We stayed in a suite that had two TVs, one by the bed and one by the couch, but because of the positioning, turning one TV off turned the other one on, unless you covered the living room TVs receptor so it couldn't be turned back on. That was amusing!
The jetted tub took a while to fill, just because the plug was not flush with the bottom, but once we messed with it, it filled up quickly!

The staff here can be a bit snobby. I canceled before i got the room.

the worst customer service you can imagine combined with the smell of pee...
i landed 11pm at the airport, called for a shuttle (hotel is 8 minutes away) and waited over 2 hours. i tried calling the hotel to check status, and the front desk ignores my calls for over an hour. finally i took a cab to the hotel finding the front desk lady/shuttle driver watching tv... then she yelled at me saying shuttle service needs to be arranged 24 hours ahead... what a joke!!! save your money..

The rooms were good, but the upkeep of the hotel is lacking. I had to tell the front desk 3 times that my sink was leaking and causing a puddle and that my shower head needed tx o be replaced.

The hotel was convenient, close to airport and Charleston's, one of my favorite restaurants. Seems the room wasn't kept up well. See pictures.

Rooms were good, tv didn't work all the time. Keys demagnetized several tines during our visit, but overall decent accomodations. Terrible breakfast, but clean facilities.
