Holiday Inn Norman Review

Very nice. Big clean suites. Need better pressure on water but everything else ours great.

I traveled to Oklahoma city because I was sick, I stayed in this Hotel 2 days, the service was absolutely good, I recommend people to come here.. If I had to go there again, I would do it

Neither the front desk person working the night we checked in nor the front desk person working the morning we checked out were wearing a mask. When I left my room to check out, I walked by several housekeeping carts as other rooms were being cleaned. I observed two different housekeeping staff working in the rooms, and neither of them were wearing a mask.

You can state corporate policies about COVID19 cleaning and protection, but when I observe four different employees, and none of them are wearing a mask, your policies are not working. And Norman OK has a mandatory mask requirement, so even if your staff does not want to follow your corporate policies, they should follow the city mask mandate.

Horrible service . Was promised hot tub working for my spinal injury. Show up hot tub out . pool ice cold . pancake machine out . room smelled like smoke and they added unauthorised charges on credit card . I m a disabled veteran and they suck !!

A Superior Holiday inn Express! The rooms were very large, updated and maintained. The staff were very polite and professional. The breakfast is the typical Holiday inn Express breakfast but the quality of what's provided was better than most. definitely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful experience, fun time at the pool and great breakfast bar with hot coffee all day.

I was scheduled to arrive at like 7 in the evening for my reservations I did not arrive until 11:30 that night and they didn't have a room ready for me I have to set in the lobby for an hour waiting on them to try to find a room if they can see if they can get one clean for me general manager promise me 25000 i h g rewards points and she never did give them to me so basically she lied to me while I was there and once I left I guess you wouldn't worry about me being satisfied anymore is it i h g Platinum Rewards member

Nice and clean, comfortable rooms w/ good variety for breakfast. Very close to local restaurants, grocery store.

Great experience at the Holiday Inn Express &Suites in Norman, OK. Staff were incredibly helpful (especially Donnie) and the hotel was modern, clean and very comfortable. Gorgeous salt water pool and hot tub. Hotel is across from shopping though if you don't have a car it can be challenging to get around. Overall, great staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Oklahoma City, suite. The power was out for multiple hours. Even worse, it was between 4-7 which is when most people are getting ready to go out.

Covid clean. Very clean with lots of room spacing. Continental breakfast instead of hot breakfast. Plenty of coffee and tea. Packaged Muffins, breakfast bars oatmeal. Milk, juice yogurt. Not fancy just clean. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a few weeks ago, but things have been busy. My husband's grandfather passed away- the first loss he's experienced. I wanted to take his mind off the pain, if only for a moment, so i made a silly request: a simple framed photo of a favorite celebrity. I didn't expect it, but they delivered. It was the first time I heard him laugh in almost a week. Thank you for that. It meant so much to me. Still does.
Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff is obviously amazing. The breakfast selection was great too. Thank you.

Location is perfect, close to an espresso and a shopping center with many shops and variety of food in the shopping centers and surroundings. Breakfast at the hotel is excellent and the rooms are amazing. Service is of excellence. I always stay at this hotel.

For safe accommodations, this was a wonderfully reassuring hotel. Masks required to enter, plexiglass in place at the counters, lobby area adjusted to encourage social distancing. The desk clerk was extra friendly and helpful - she should get applause and a raise for her personable demeanor and willingness to take care of guest requests. Our King Suite was obviously extra clean and easy to tell it had been sanitized properly. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were 5-Star excellent, which is a welcome rarity! I give this property and staff 5-Stars, and congratulate them for their efforts to make this a safe, friendly place during a difficult pandemic!

My family stayed here, and it seemed like a pleasant hotel from my perspective. Great job, the only reason why 4 stars is because it's a tad tight in my opinion.

Had a roach in my bed. Went down to inform the front desk and they switched me rooms. Which is fine, but i feel my night should have been comped. A hotels main goal is hospitality and HIE failed miserably. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Embassy suites across the street.

Continental breakfast was decent. Room reasonably clean. Air conditioner really loud and kept me up at night. Forgot my ear plugs...

I can understand the easy booking experience because the customer service sucks.

I was impressed by this location right off the bat, the building and lobby were clean, staff was friendly and attentive, and my room was larger than I thought.

Used reward points to book room for 3 adults. Received a room with only one bed. Hotel was 100% booked so they could give me a different room. However, front desk attendant was really nice.

Very nice and clean and very nice and helpful staff. Rooms and hot tub were excellent. Very delicious free and fresh breakfast. Everyone was above and beyond to us. The price was also excellent. We will most definately be returning and recommend it to others.

Friendly and quite place. Close to several good restaurants.

Tried staying here with my wife and infant son because our electricity had gone out due to the ice storm. We made it about 30 minutes before we had to leave because our entire room was filled with pot smoke. This is supposed to be a smoke free facility but they have no means to enforce it. Also people were running up and down the halls screaming. They don t have enough staff to control the chaos.

Terrible experience here. Breakfast was so dismal, same bland food (day in/day out) so we went out to eat breakfast after the second day. In this case, you got less than what you paid for. When we checked into our room, the floor had water all over it. Maintenance brought up a fan and tried to suck water out of the carpet. The air conditioner kept shutting off and the room would get up to 85 while we were sleeping. Furthermore, there are blinking lights that keep you up all night (attached to the smoke alarm/carbon alarm on ceiling of bedroom). By the second night we covered it up with a piece of foil. 4 days into our stay the manager called my cell phone and accused us of smoking cigarettes and marijuana in the room and threatened to charge us a fee for smoking!! Apparently, a new maid was cleaning our room and she told the manager she suspected smoking due to the fan in the room (their fan!!) and the foil over the light on the smoke detector. I was also told they sent someone else to our room to see the evidence (which is illegal). I was furious and promptly checked out. The maid had stolen my kendall charger so perhaps she was trying to cover her tracks. I don't know. We had told them that we put foil on the smoke detector days ago. The manager refused to have the maid apologize and was vey rude. She denied accusing me of anything! Talk about twi-light zone strange, she literally lied in my face. Save yourself some grief and lack of sleep, go anywhere else! I have travelled the world and never in my life have I been treated like this.

All new. Nice place. But some one. Has a personsonal parking. Under the canopies

Even though we were across from elevator the room was super quiet. Room clean, parking in basement with connecting said elevator, beds and pillows were super! Within walking distance of event or hotel supplies free shuttle to and from events or airport. It is our go to place to stay. Does have hotel bar for a relaxing drink or simple bar food.

The service at the holiday in was amazing, It was clean, the staff were respectful and the breakfast was amazing. And I also give five stars to one of people on the cleaning staff, he cleans amazingly and has a respectful hard working young man, I don't remember names to much but he is noticable, you will see him everywhere cleaning only thing I remember is his name starts with a N

Very very nice new motel and the maid service, knock knock room service you need any thing is the very best I have ever seen around , and I have been in alot of motels over 25 years of traveling from state 2 state working all around kick ass breakfast to holiday in express you all ROCK that place

Loved the art deco theme of the hotel. It was in a great location, close to everything. The room was comfortable and clean. Had a nice hot tub and pool and the night auditor was extremely nice. One of the cheaper hotel options in the area and it was well worth triple the price we paid. Will be visiting again!
