WellStar Health System Review

For over TWO WEEKS, now, my friend has been getting the wrong food. Yes, she's in there unable to walk, for over two weeks, and going hungry. They repeatedly keep bringing her food she CANNOT EAT. It says "gluten-free" right there on her card. Food service employees, nurse, and doctors all keep saying they'll fix it, and NOTHING IS BEING DONE. They take away the meal and she lies there with nothing to eat for hours. They bring another meal, STILL WRONG. Once, they even brought her someone else's food, wrong name card and all. We talked to seven people just her first week, trying to get it cleared up. We put TWO signs on her door, where food indications go (which the staff should have done, with the official paper that goes there). The rooms are not cleaned properly or often enough (overflowing trash can, DUSTY dusty surfaces, floor clearly not swept). The lack of communication between staff members is borderline, ***abject incompetence.*** One says one thing, the next says another. If anything at all. This place is an embarrassment to hospitals, medical professionals, and the city of Atlanta.

It wouldn't let me not pick a star because this terrible hospital don't deserve the one. If I had 4 thumbs the staff nd whole hospital would get 4 thumbs down. The hospital is nasty ass ever nd all the staff in the ER are super unprofessional nd needs to be fired...... I DO NOT RECOMMAND TO NO ONE

Dont go.i have heart failure.now yesterday kidney failure.went in horrible pain.still in it.wasnt given anything for pain.people need to get off this witholdin pain med when your in such bad shape.its wrong.and sent me home

Terrible experience, my father was here over the holidays and we transferred him immediately. Literally I.V.'s were falling out the trash can in the room. The nurse sat a piss cup from another room on the counter along with other trash because it was over flowing. It took forever for anyone to tell us what was going on with his care... they need to be shut down.

I didn't appreciate the whole experience it took my sister 4 hours to be seen & then had to wait 2 more hours for her results & fluids. I'm a nurse & accompanied my sister & the process was aggravating she was seen by a physician assistant then back to the lobby, then back to registration, then back to the lobby, then waited an hour for fluids given to her in the lobby. It took her 4 hours to be seen then they took blood work & urine sample & gave her toradol for pain & zofran for nausea. Neither work. Then instead of her receiving her care in a room privately the gave her IV fluids openly in the lobby. This is a violation of HIPPA which is patience privacy I would not recommend anyone going to their ER.

I was emitted into the trauma center, spent 6 weeks mending and in rehab. I had exceptionally good people take care of me. My overall experience was great.

I was taken to the ER by ambulance in February. The hospital performed x-rays and a CT scan which showed no fracture. Had they done their job more thoroughly they would have found two fractures of the leg. There was no need for the CT scan, but also no option to decline it, therefore, I was presented with a large bill. Overall, the ER was run down and seemed dirty, they performed unnecessary tests and provided poor care.

My mother was in this hospital for almost 2 weeks on the 4th floor. Her nurses seemed to only be concerned about giving her meds, and not feeding her. I had to repeatedly remind the nurses that she needed to eat instead of putting meds in her mouth. The windows in her room needed seal around them because cold air entered the room, esp. at night. I put doubled blankets to keep the drift at a minimum. The sink had a leak, so I complained twice and towels were brought to catch the water. My mom got bed sores there & never had them before. Now, her primary physician was great! There was a weekend doctor who was rude. He told me he had too many patients, & he needed to be called if a patient was near death. I told him my mom wasnt responding that''s why I had the nurse to call him. My mom was sick. She just recently passed.Thankful, I was there most of the time. It seems like when I mention those things, nurses act like it wasn't a concern. If you go there, please make sure someone is there with you.

L&D and mother-baby were incredible from start to finish! Couldn't thank them enough for such great care for wife and baby boy!! Thanks WAMC!!

This is the worst hospital ever I sat for eight hours in pain throwing up every where.only to have my blood pressure taken and pee in a cup I sat eight hours in pain after sitting I left how can you expect me to pay a bill when I was never seen about.. Y'all bill people for no service the lady say you have to pay even if you leave week if y'all see people in a timely manner I wouldn't have had to leave.. ATLANTA MEDICAL WILL LET YOU DIE ARE LEAVE THE SAME WAY YOU CAME.. North side hospital is better....

My daughter was here recently after a car accident with a head injury and glass shard wounds all over her face plus a gash on her knee that was bleeding onto the bed. She was flighted in by helicopter, but it took hours for her to get put in a room in the ICU. They never in the two days in the ICU cleaned the wounds that covered the whole side of her face or the gash in the knee, and she had to beg for a bandage for the knee. She ended up with copious dried blood on her face. I am surprised the wounds did not get infected. She called a nurse, and it took an hour for her to get there.

My every visit was excellent... I was on the 3rd floor (398) on the dates of 11/15 -11/18. The nurses: Janisha, Diana, Sharkisha, Michelle and all of the techs that were on those shifts where wonderful. They where patient and kind to me and made my stay as present as possible.

I had surgery here to get my thyroid taken out. The prep and surgery were great. It just sucks having to wait for a room especially when you are in a room full of other patients. Also, I was discharged at 8pm at night, I could have left in the morning and avoided additional charges. Otherwise everything went well.

Worst hospital I have ever encountered! My husband was life flighted and we still say their waiting for answers for two days! We kept getting told a doctor will be in soon, never happened until we raised hell! Also had to stay on top of nurses for his meds and pain meds. We were told his face fractures would heal on their own and his heel bone was completely shattered and would need surgery.. Now two weeks later we are back at another hospital with them saying they can't believe he was released that his face fractures are so bad that if surgery isn't done soon, he will suffer permanent damages and that his heel bone is NOT shattered and does not need surgery! Atlanta medical is horrible besides the couple good nurses who had hearts to go beyond and above. It's really bad when your own nurses go against what is recommended! Never go here unless you want to be jerked around with no answers and wrong answers!

My newborn pediatrician office is in this hospital and the look of the place looks dirty and germy. Doctor was good but the staff and nurses are so unprofessional when talking to you. Never recommend this hospital!

I have been here for 10 hours. In the hallway. With no food. And even if you ask the nurse they ll forget and walk right pass you even tho you ve ask 2 times already. This is crazy. I won t come back.

We called for a nurse. If we were still there we would probably still be waiting.

Firstly, I'm not here for free. I have health insurance and there's a nurse here at this hospital. She work on the 5 floor and this she never felt and never heard is compassion Her name is Jocyln she thinks I'm here for free that maybe I'm a beggar who does not have medical I would treat a street dog better than she treated me yesterday. She is a person who is here only to receive Pay check She has no compassion for anyone and she must hate Working here. I feel sorry for her.

Don't eat anything from there or ye shall surely be dead! Ex-employee. Trust me it got so bad I quit! Hope your never sentenced to that place.... Death row inmates get food more sanitary.

The surgeons are highly skilled and some nurses are great and attentive. The ICU is not the best place for care. My mom was walking before she was admitted but now she can't. She developed 3 bed wounds that required operations and wound vacs, remind you they weren't there before her stay of admission. She was to have woundcare, PT and OT while there but I was informed the ball was dropped so the orders never made it to the therapist. The type of care received here is not of the level of care they represent as a level 1 trauma. Seek help elsewhere if you don't want additional health problems!

They say it's not everything that is on the internet one should believe and I proved that when I visited the labor & delivery suite at well star Atlanta medical. Even though it was a scare. The staff were excellent. Have not received the full service but I am hopeful

I liked it there! All my doctors were nice and helped me on anything I needed. (:

Surprise bill of a much larger amount that I am on the hook for. There was no mention that there would be another bill coming as the doctors are independent contractors and not employees of the hospital, same with radiologists. When called to mention that a policy should be in place to inform patients, that was met with zero compassion or interest. Avoid this place at all costs, the service was sub par as well.

I called them twice within the past hour and no one has answered the phone. For an emergency center that s not a good sign. Definitely not going to this place.

Last Friday I needed to go to the ER and was worried about going somewhere new. However, when I arrived I was treated almost instantly. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. They calmed me down and had me feeling better in a scary situation. I am grateful for the staff and doctors that I saw and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Nurse don't know what they are doing. They act like are overwhelmed with 2-3 patients when at other hospitals nursed have a minimum of 5 and can handle things.
Hard to get anything done by a nurse here they will come in say they will be back and disappear.
Non medics staff mostly are not friends and don't do their job properly.

When my wife got pregnant with our son, we went to AMC because that's where our insurance sent us. What a blessing! My wife had a great experience with the OB/GYN group throughout the pregnancy (Eva and Lynese were wonderful! Dr Butts and Dr Grant were amazing! Jacqueline was the reason we got through the tough days and scary moments!).

When it came time to deliver, the rest of the crew in Labor & Delivery really stepped up! They were patient, professional and personable. Dr. Antonios went the extra mile to make sure we were cared for and the nurses were SO DAMN GOOD at what they do. After the delivery, we were very well cared for in the Postpartum department. It was awesome.

Everyone (including the janitorial team) was responsive and did what they could to make sure our experience was as positive as possible.

We are grateful for the way we were treated and for how well the entire pregnancy went thanks to the staff on Boulevard! Kudos to everyone!

I won t lie I was a little hesitant about going to this hospital after reading reviews . As soon as we stepped inside the hospital we was helped by a staff member without having to ask . I was in labor for 9 hours every nurse ,my doctor and staff members were amazing!!! Specially my delivery nurse wouldn t of been able to done it without her !!

Don't take family members to hospital with 3 Fast food restaurants in the lobby of it. Wow this is the state of Healthcare in GA, glad I am in North Carolina with Duke, UNC Rex and WakeMed with exceptional care on every corner in Raleigh area.

Came into ER at 1:30am due to a MVA. Told the physician I felt dizzy, had concerns of possible concussion along with abdominal pain. I am a pre-med student and am very aware I did not receive a full neuro or abdominal exam. No imaging was done. They kept me there for 5 hours longer for no reason. Later followed up with another physician who diagnosed me with a concussion. The physician at Wellstar dismissed me almost immediately and I will never return here.

Was hoping to find a primary care physician... Couldn't get through to schedule so I called someone else here... They got in touch with someone and out me through and I was immediately hung up on... Good news is they won't be my PCP... I learned early I hope you do too

Love this place over grady. The er was never a wait.

I came to to see my child being born and left with major damage to my car they said they can't help me because there are no cameras in the parking deck on the side close to the BP there service is slow and there security team is a joke I also saw someone smoking Weed in there car never go to this hospital the hospital itself is not a reflection on the birth and delivery section they are great and need to find a better hospital to work for other than that i absolutly hated it they don't care about you

Too many hidden charges they tell you nothing about then suddenly you get bills in the mail

My husband came in via life flight as a trauma patient. The care we have received has been top notch!! From the ER staff, nurses, patient care techs, trauma team, orthopedic surgeons, housekeeping, to room service we could not have asked for better treatment. Everyone is thoughtful and caring and truly concerned about meeting your needs. I'm so grateful for everyone we have worked with during our stay! I love the teaching hospital aspect as well.

My husband went to this hospital in extreme pain. He waited 7hrs for them to forget he was even there. It took me to go to the front desk to tell them that we were still in the waiting room waiting. I don't understand how a hospital can be so unprofessional. The doctor never came back to even give the results from the lab or the ct scan. i say this has to be the worst hospital I have ever been too and i wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. The bathrooms in the waiting area was disgusting. Their process of taking you back and sending you back out in waiting room need to be handled a little better, so that the patient is not forgot about.

The staff was great but the facilities were terribly dirty. There were used gauze and bandages on the floor, there was blood all over the public restroom in the emergency room. There were patients in the halls, it was a very chaotic experience. The nurses & doctors were great though. We had to go there as that is wear the ambulance took my husband, otherwise I would not have gone there if I knew how dirty it was. No Doctor visited him to review the results, the nurse did. She discharged us with no wheelchair or even escort to the door. We are Wellstar patients so it was very disappointing.

The doctors here are professional and customer service was excellent, they took really good care of my pregnant wife.

I want to start off by saying I will never be coming back to this hospital. I gave birth on a Sunday morning. The labor nurses were okay nothing too bad. The Postpartum nurses were the worst ever. I warned them the first day I was experiencing headaches whenever I got up or sat up and they ignored this symptom for 3 DAYS. The nurses were rude and didn t care. I was having excruciating pain nonstop and they think it s okay to tell me that if I didn t bond with my baby they d call CPS and involve a social worker. It was extremely rude to me as I m someone who comes from an abusive household with domestic violence as well. I was struggling my entire stay there. My husband was the one who helped me more than the nurses. Due to their negligence , I had to to come back 1 day later for a blood patch to the ER.
WHATEVER YOU DO DONT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL. NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IN ATL.

This is an awful hospital. I went there with terrible stomach pains. The doctor, an Indian guy, misdiagnosed me. He said there was nothing wrong. I found out a couple days later from Kennestone that I had kidney stones.

I was in a pretty good amount of pain and the nurses were laughing and making jokes with each other as if I wasn't there and my pain meant nothing to them. I felt invisible.

Those people have not one caring bone in their bodies. When I asked what I should do about the pain or what it might be, the doctor simply said, "I don't know." He made it clear be had no interest in trying to figure it out.

It's a shame when human beings in the medical field lose all respect for people, their conditions, pain levels and well being.

I will be reporting this whole experience to my insurance company.

In a 24 hour period I saw two staff members use proper hand washing protocol. ICU was a joke. If I had left my relative there, he would have died.

I gave birth in this hospital and felt super comfortable . The nurses I had where amazing. I would recommend Wellstar Atlanta!

PLEASE!!!!! People do not come here. I was transported by ambulance for chest pain and really bad body pain all over. Explained to the doctor what was going on, he was looking at me crazy as if I was speaking another language. I told him I was having sharp pain everywhere on my body including my head. And said he never heard of such a thing and he will give me meds and a referral for a psychiatrist . Wow really is what I said to him.told them to discharge me so I can go to another hospital. Went to piedmont and they took care of my problem right away. This bootleg hospital really needs to be shut down. Dr. Dodson didn t where gloves when he came in to do a exam didn t wash his hands coming in or leaving. neither did nurse parie Jared which by the way had blood on his scrubs really dirty looking this place is a nightmare.

The operational staffs are horrible. I called to find out something about a friend of mines and they weren't very helpful. They also hung up on me as well before i was done asking questions

ER:Nurse Vonda is a rockstar. The staff are caring and amazing. For a Level 1 Trauma center (stab and slab clinic), they were top knotch. Anesthesia department has been awesome dealing with all my epidural complications.

I want to give anesthesiologist Kate zero stars. I wasn't going to put this in a review but have gotten no follow up from the hospital. She watched YouTube on her phone during my C Section. I ended up with a spinal headache requiring 2 blood patches. The above review is when i had to return 3 days postpartum to the ER to get the 2nd one. If you have surgery, don't let her touch you.

this place is the worst..needed 2 scans....we had a 9am appt, told us to be there at 830am for paper work. We were there by 8am.......we did not leave until after 12noon. It is a hurry up a wait type of place. If you have a choice of any other hospital, please use the other unless you have a lot of time to waste. If the patient needs a wheelchair, it is best to take your own as they only have 5 in the entire building and getting one is a complete joke.......NEVER USE THIS PLACE....It not even worth one star. I will say the staff was nice, but not very understanding with my frustration on how long everything took.

The service was terrible from front office administration. They look at people in very rude ways. They conversated the whole time about food and other various conversations. Everyone should be treated equally, No matter their preference !

Have a good friend in the hospital here and each time I visited all the nurses and staff were very friendly and nice. But the Main Parking Lot is closed for construction but additional parking places are provided

I ve had positive experiences with the doctors and other medical personnel at Wellstar facilities but their administrative processes and billing are absolutely terrible. I ve tried returning phone calls from the medical offices on several occasions and they either don t answer or fail to connect me to the right person when they do. I have an online account/profile with wellstar where I receive notifications about billing but somehow still receive more bills of differing amounts in the mail. I paid MULTIPLE bills for a single appointment and my online profile showed that I didn t owe anything and then 3 months later I received a notice from a collection agency. I d like to stay with my doctor but unfortunately I m going to start looking for someone else in a different network at this point.

This hospital has been unbelievable. My son was brought in with a gunshot wound and they saved his life. They performed surgery, and got him back to health 10 days later. I thought it would make a difference when they found out he didn't have insurance, but it didn't. They treated him like he was important from day 1 to day 10 and everyone was so nice and caring. I'll be eternally grateful to Dr. Kohler and the rest of her staff.

This is the slowest hospital I ever been at. We waited 6 hours to be discharged. They wouldn t let our baby stay in the room with us because of an iv in his arm. Then when we spoke about our parental rights they wanted to get defat involved. Don t have your baby here. They are going to do every test they can. It s like the doctors take turns making money off you. They don t respect your time and they suck at passing down information to the next shift about the patient. Enter at your own risk.

I don't write reviews very often but I decided to take the time to do so. My father had double bypass surgery and I can honestly say that this was by far the scariest moments I've ever encountered. Dr. Lightfoot (surgeon) and his team did a great job taking care of my dad. Nurse Lesley in ICU was so attentive and patient. There were other nurses who assisted in his recovery but I don't remember their names (sorry). This experience was very stressful for my entire family but the staff there is truly committed to the care of their patients. My dad is doing well and is recovering. I know that some may provide a rating based off of a minor incident or encounter, but I am truly satisfied with my experience and will be forever grateful!

This is by far the worst place to go they have fast track but why call it fast track it take almost two hour to get seen then when they call u back u wait 5 minutes to see the doctor then u have to wait like another hour to get discharge.

Worst hospital, I have been here since 11am and it is now 7pm. That is ridiculous, I will never return again.

Sitting I the hospital waiting for a miracle for my 17 year old that was transported by ambulance from a Wellstar facility where she had a biopsy. During the biopsy she Bagan bleeding and the physician could not get it to stop. We are waiting after being dropped off 2 hours ago for anyone in this Hospital to stop the bleeding. The unprofessionalism I have experienced is ridiculous and this facility should be shut down until they figure out how to take care of patients. I would think if the bleeding cannot stop SOMEONE would try to stop it. I am fighting with these people just to check my daughter! Worst medical experience I have ever encountered in my life!

My mother had to be brought to this hospital due to a trama break on her right leg. First they didn't have the equipment to do the surgery, it was four days later that her surgery was performed! On the 5th floor my mom called for a bed pan do she could have a BM but it was not brought in time so she soiled the sheets and had to lay in them until the ladies had time to change them.
My mom had to be on so much pain medication that she was unable to feed herself so the only time she ate was when one of the assistants had time or when I was there. The 4 days she was on the 5th floor my mom was bathed only one time!
I can go on and on but after 16 days in the hospital and only 1 or 2 days barely standing up on her feet my mom died from what they say was a heart attack. My opinion, she threw a blood clot from zero activity, the orthopedic doctor said she should be up walking after her surgery but she never walked again!!!

Very nice nursing staff. They really cared and loved their jobs... BLACK women!

My Triage nurse was hilarious, the radiology tech was so sweet and soft spoken and my doctors and nurses was AWESOME!!! The reason for the 3 stars is because for one they hooked me to a IV and sat me in the hallway for literally 3 hours. For this to be a hospital this place is not cleaned, sanitized or deodorized AT ALL!! Went to 2 different bathrooms while I was there they both were disgusting from the sinks,toilets to the floors. Also all the people with mental issues that just walkin from off the streets need to be stopped. I'm here for the Flu and this lady keeps asking me and others for $2 smh. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

This hospital is always understaffed and dirty the windows leak when it rains I am very thankful that I will never have to go there again.
All the money that they make off of parking looks like they could at least buy some caulking.

If I could give a zero I would. The ER was filthy. My mom came in at 7am and did not get a room until about 8pm. Once in the room, Nobody came in to check on her until after I called the desk which was an hour and a half after being in the room. The bathroom is so outdated and just dirty. The light in the bathroom did not work and it took another hour for someone to check it. The floor was filthy. If my mom was not feeling as bad as she did, we would have left AMA. This is the dirtiest hospital I have ever been in.

This is the absolute worst hospital I have ever seen or heard of and that is including watching movies on TV. My fiance was in a horrific car crash and was in need of pain medicine. They were hours late on the pain meds and there was only More

The kitchen staff and management!!!! should be fired and never allowed to work in the food industry ever again. They never open on time, credit card machines only work half the time . There is always a problem with running out of stuff,...you know....peanut butter no jelly or hamburger with no fries.

This place sucks! Whenever I ask some of the nurses to take my IV out whenever I need to use the restroom, they leave them in. Plus, the techs here are lazy as ever, and don't care about nobody but theirselves. And please avoid Desiree and Wanda as your techs. Y'all gotta get better Atlanta Medical!

WellStar needs to do better!
The parking decks need brighter lighting.
Even though they are trying to renovate the Hospital they need to do it quicker.
I was just there visiting and I'm sorry but I would not want to visit and park in that parking deck at night.
You have to go through so many crooks and turns to find the room that your looking for.

The three stars are for the care that I received from the doctors, nurses, and patients techs! They really cared and it showed from the time I entered the ER until I was discharge days later. However, cleanliness can be wayyyyy better!!! Not only is it a hospital but we are in a pandemic. They also lost my clothes my aunt brought for me to put on to go home in. I had to walk out in two gowns which was a bit degrading.

The Midwives,nurses and everyone from the emergency room to the labor and delivery unit to the mom and baby floor have been incredibly sweet,understanding, gentle, patient, knowledgeable and kind they knew all the right things to say and do as i came in minutes from delivery! These are incredible women that have cared for me and my child throughout this journey. They encourage all of your choices and your birth plan even when you give up on them because of fear and if you absolutely change your mind they will keep you well informed on all procedures and what they entail. They got me my lotus birth all natural even when i thought I couldn't do it they encouraged me and supported me and I did it thanks to them! First time mom's and beyond I highly recommend this hospital if you are looking to birth naturally and be encouraged in that decision and process. The facility is not the newest but they work hard to keep everything clean and comfortable constantly checking in everyday to make sure everything is up to standard! This is a great hospital and that's coming from someone who was deathly afraid of hospitals and would normally be ready to run out. I hope they never change their practices and continue to allow and encourage mothers to birth without fear and in as much comfort as possible, I could rave on but would be here forever I love this team of women, I trust this hospital and am forever grateful.

The medical records department is awful. I submitted a request and got no response. Called and once on hold for a while and they could not find the patient. Then, got the SSN and called back, hold again, and since it was 4:30pm by the time I got through, they hung up on me....

This hospital has some of the worst support staff I've ever encountered. The nurses have all been great and most of the techs are too. However, it is severely understaffed and they can only do so much. I have to say the social workers here are apathetic and incompetent. They have terrible attitudes on top of it. I was here when my grandmother had a traumatic head injury following a fall. The nurses and techs were diligent and many of them went above and beyond. However, when it was time to find a nursing and rehab center to help her regain mobility the caseworker found several homes that were too far for her family to visit. I pointed out a few closer options and he was completely indignant even though I gave him the correct zip code in the first place. After I called several times he was finally able to contact the nursing home I requested only to find out they were not able to take my grandmother. Instead of offering a listing of homes in the area, the social worker suggested I call and talk to them myself, which I did since he did not feel like doing his job. The intake person mentioned that the case worker who contacted the nursing home mentioned the reasons why she might not be a good patient, which helped them to make a decision. In closing, I hope this department gets cleaned out when Wellstar takes over the medical center since they've done nothing but a huge disservice to my family.

Went to visit a friend on the 5th floor the other day. It was such a run down hospital. I asked the nurse state if there was a water fountain nearby and a nurse just stared at me like I was the biggest inconvenience. She told me to go find one down near the cafeteria. It just seems like everyone hates their jobs here.

The hospital staff is horrible. Saw a nurse in the ER say she told another women's patients medical issues to another patient! She agreed. That against HIPPA then she going to say that patient was here too long she should of been left. What right as a nurse do you have telling someone's info! None.
Then I went to see my brother. He told me a nurse there snatches his cover off to look at him medically . When I told him to report it they said it's nothing they can do. This hospital is bad business.

The nurses and staff here are RUDE AS HELL! It seems as if no one likes their damn job and nobody, I MEAN NOBODY is friendly. The ER has a fast track system and idk why. Because it s not any faster. I was there 5 hours and there were only 3 other people in the waiting room and only me back in fast track. GO TO EMORY OR PIEDMONT

I never have to wait long in the Emergency room, I ve been there 3 times and each time they got me in and out!!!! I love Atlanta Medical!

I never in my life been in a hospital where there was so much miss communications and such poor service.The people were nice to talk to. That is why I decided to give them one star. But the service was awwwwwful!!!!!!

Staff was rude and the discharge nurse put in false vitals when none was ever taken. It was three horurs before anyone assissted me and the discharge nurse along with others were heard by several of us laughing at the patients and joking and giving out false information.

Absolute worst hospital experience ever! My 87 year old mother had her Passport, Driver's license and Credit Card stolen somewhere between being admitted to E.R. with subsequent admittance to hospital room. Having not eaten in 12 hours, she requested some vegetarian soup, that never came. Was told she was being discharged at 2pm but was not actually discharged until 9 pm (7 hours later). In addition, 2 hours after discharge, I discover she has a bladder infection that had not been diagnosed or antibiotics provided. Wouldn't let my worst enemy be treated here!

At one point I was walking around looking for a bathroom and no one asked if I was OK.

The physician assistant (Brittany) did NOTHING. She did not check for bruises or injury (I had a real back car accident). I got home and found bruises and marks on my body when I started feeling pain later. The nurse or whatever she is (Antione) was rude too. ugh!

Then they just discharged me without seeing if I was actually OK....If you want to die, then go to this hospital. They will help you do that.

One start is over-rating this place.

The best care and results I get from the doctors are top notch great. The nurses and Doctors do their job well I would strongly recommend this hospital to anyone.... my grandmother came here sickly sick x now she s almost better.

Very Professional . I was impressed with the care that was given to my Daughter.

I have been sitting in the lobby for 3 hours having a asthma attack. No one has came by to check on me or oxgen level. I am literally feel like i am dying. Asking for anything to help calm it down. They walk by abd say keep waiting.

Dirty & nasty. Rude foreign nurses from the islands. ILL NEVER GO BACK!!

If you enjoy having your catheter ripped out by pissy and ineffectual nurses, by all means come here for medical care! The 5-star reviewer is either an employee here or experienced a miracle.

My boyfriend's father was in a bad car wreck last weekend and had to be flown in via helicopter. He spent the better part of two days in ICU here, during which he was given drugs he is allergic to and told them not to give him resulting in him having hives and a manic rage attack. Instead of restraining him, they just yanked out his catheter (thank goodness the air bladder was delflated at the time) and let him run rampant.

It was like pulling teeth to get the names of who was responsible for what (like nurse, head nurse, doctor, etc). My BF's dad waited all night to get test results from a doctor who never came. Only after his allergic fit did he get put in a regular room and after many more hours a nurse came by to ask why he was still there since his test didnt show anything. WHY INDEED.

The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing here. The place is shabby and rundown, and the staff is either adversarial, nice but ineffectual, or simply indifferent, depending on floor, day, and mood. There are so many crackheads and other unsavory folks trying to get in that you have to run an obstacle course of security in order to visit your loved ones (unless you get Indifferent Officer who doesn't even notice you).

The ICU nurses turned one patient's TV all the way up and turned it around so that they could watch it from their station while the poor lady
moaned in pain. Nice!

In short: If you can hold on to that heart attack just a little longer, go to Piedmont.

The nurses I met were great. I appreciate the house keeping rep for getting things taking care of and the food delivery person was always very polite.
On the other hand, I was here as a trauma and ended up having a very invasive surgery and nothing was explainined to me. I requested to see my x-rays and still haven't. My pain management was way below standard. I stayed in constant pain. Orthopedics are the hardest person to get in touch with. They were not friendly at all. They never asked if I had any other concerns or questions. No one ever answered any of my questions directly. I had a MRI done three days ago and STILL have NOT heard the results. I give them two stars for the friendly nurses.

I delivered my first baby here and the service, care was exceptional. From the time I entered the building till discharge. Don't let the reviews discourage you. This hospital is older but it has great employees, doctors and staff. Will definitely return.

This was by far the worst hospital I've ever been to. I was ten thirteened two years ago here and the staff were the absolute WORST!!!! I was hospitalized for six entire days and they would not let me shower and I was on my catamenial cycle. Whenever I would walk around the room the staff would restrain me and give me shots everyday. I got a comb stuck in my hair and the staff cut my hair to get it out. They treated me with disrespect and said denigrating things to me. The staff confiscated some of my possessions and never gave them back, which included my Instructional Driving Permit. They rarely let me use the restroom and they took out the entire bedding. The whole experience was like Bedlam rivived.

This hospital is Unprofessional they lost my paperwork they didn t clean my baby they release me early the people Birth Certificate area people are rude. They had student pick up my paperwork now they can find my paperwork. They hang up the phone on me. My child was not clean until 6 hrs after I had my baby. They giving me the run around and now they not answering my phone call. Knowing they mess up my paperwork. This hospital need to get investigating For they service. This do not make no sense. The baby was born Friday at 8:49am and they Discharge me Friday at 7:30.
