My mother was in this hospital for almost 2 weeks ...

My mother was in this hospital for almost 2 weeks on the 4th floor. Her nurses seemed to only be concerned about giving her meds, and not feeding her. I had to repeatedly remind the nurses that she needed to eat instead of putting meds in her mouth. The windows in her room needed seal around them because cold air entered the room, esp. at night. I put doubled blankets to keep the drift at a minimum. The sink had a leak, so I complained twice and towels were brought to catch the water. My mom got bed sores there & never had them before. Now, her primary physician was great! There was a weekend doctor who was rude. He told me he had too many patients, & he needed to be called if a patient was near death. I told him my mom wasnt responding that''s why I had the nurse to call him. My mom was sick. She just recently passed.Thankful, I was there most of the time. It seems like when I mention those things, nurses act like it wasn't a concern. If you go there, please make sure someone is there with you.
