My experience with John Leonard was everything I expected in a recruiting agency and more. Finding a job straight out of college can be stressful to many and months can pass before you're even selected for an interview, but the staff at JL was so accommodating with the job hunting process and are genuinely dedicated to helping you find something that fits your needs and expectations. I worked particularly with the direct hire division and Jennifer Kuchy was one of the friendliest professionals I've had the pleasure of working with. I told her the types of jobs I would potentially be interested in, the location I preferred to work in and even my salary expectations. We would check in with each other weekly and she would always contact me whenever there was a job she thought I would be interested in or may be a great fit for based on my skill set. Soon enough, Jennifer connected me to an amazing firm right here in Boston, that met all of the criteria I was looking for and have been here for about a year now ! I had read encouraging reviews on Yelp and Google but had been disappointed by their disinterested response. After temping on a number of jobs for Reliable Staffing in LA, I believe I had enough experience to merit a few minutes with a recruiter in the very least.
Their receptionist passed me on to a coordinator who only asked me if I had worked with them before and then told me to submit my resume online and curtly let me go. I had been hoping to speak with a recruiter to explain a gap in my profile but they didn t even ask my name. No word back but no longer looking.

John Leonard is a great employment agency here in Boston! I have just applied this past summer and they have been so friendly, and supportive in helping me find positions that would suit my personality. I am a recent college graduate who, unfortunately, has been struggling on deciding what it is I want to do in life. Luckily for me, Jennifer Sirois, one of the staffing consultants in the temporary division, has been actively communicating with me since day one. She would always shoot me a call and/or an email, giving me heads up about available short-term positions that might be of interest to me. When I met her my first time, she asked me what types of employment I was looking for. I knew I wasn't making it easy on her when I started telling her that "I didn't know", but I knew what "I didn't want". However, she really went out of her way to match what I wanted to the openings she had. In just a few weeks, I've accepted a temp position from her, working in a nonprofit organization right in Downtown. As of right now, I am still currently working for the organization, with my stay extended until sometime next year.
