Horrible quality! Horrible customer service and no help at all. I bought a brand new 55 tv for $460+ and the screen and frame were disconnected. They claim it isn t covered by the manufactured warranty and offered me to buy another 60 tv for $400 plus tax. I spoke with the supervisor and still there was no help and only wanted me to spend more money. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER!!! Choose Samsung instead!

Love my 32" Vizio. I wanted a high quality, but budget friendly TV to act as a monitor for a media computer in the living room. The 32" Vizio I bought is only 720p and 60Hz, but that is because I hate high refresh rates that make things look hyper real. Works like a charm and the customer service was great when I had a question about tracking the package. There was an issue with Vizio not notifying me that it had shipped, and that is the reason I gave this 4 stars. Their products are 5 stars for the price in my opinion.
Spent over 13.5 hrs and over 33 phone calls facilitating / Project Managing Vizio's "tech support" troubleshooting TV's intermittent Wifi dropout issues. I've tested and discovered their TV to use a defective Wifi chip. (Certified Network engineer with over 13 yrs experience) They refuse to acknowledge it and keep saying it's my router. 1. This is the 2nd router where the TV (the third TV they've replaced) still does not work properly. 2. Other smart TV's I've purchased dont have any wifi problems. 3. No other devices (cell phones, tablets, computers) have any wifi problems with either router. 4. When i stream Netflix through a Wifi enabled DVD player connected to the TV - it works fine...
They (Executive resolutions supervisor Jesse Dorn - of which previous "supervisor" Brent Sedgewick said "there is no higher escalation than me") finally agreed to refund, said they would contact me to pickup the TV... have not heard from anyone since... (two weeks ...). This is consistent with anything they said they would do...
Unbelievable how much time and money Vizio will put a consumer through rather than reasonably remedy the issue. Horrible nightmare. Horrible support.
Don't ever buy a Vizio TV. If I could give no stars, I would. Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. My smart TV experienced a screen defect and I was scheduled to receive a replacement (after several phone calls and me having to give them a CC to secure an advanced replacement - they will charge you for the replacement if you don't return the damaged TV). Several days later, I get a call telling me that my replacement was recalled and my warranty was voided because upon further review the damage did not look like a manufacturer defect. I was basically accused of damaging the TV myself and trying yo get it covered under warranty. Not only was I insulted but I fully expect to have additional problems with them charging my credit card for a TV I now will not be returning but instead throwing in the trash. I am going back to Samsung. Its well worth the extra money to deal with real professionals at Samsung who actually care about their customers.
Vizio offers the best televisions at the most reasonable price. Every TV I buy is from Vizio and they haven't let me down! I love the Vizio apps and the picture and sound quality is amazing.
Vizio sent the M50-D1 Home Theater Display so that I can review it. Note that it's a home theater display and not a TV because it does not have a TV tuner. Not a negative for those who will connect a cable box, a gaming console or BluRay/DVD player anyway. If you need a TV tuner, you'll need to get one separately. I loved that it has an Android tablet as a remote aside from the regular remote. You can also use your phone as a remote; just download the VIZIO app. Setup is easy. It turned on as soon as we plugged it in. Then it asked for the tablet remote to be paired, after which it started downloading updates for the display. After the update was done, we just had to choose the source, and we were ready to start watching. Picture quality is good and isn't grainy. I think it handles scaling pretty well. Quality is still good when playing regular DVDs and BluRays.
The VIZIO M50-D1 SmartCast Home Theater Display definitely gives you good value for your money. You get a big screen with good picture quality, a regular remote, a tablet remote, and Chromecast built in. And that's all for a pretty affordable price of $849.99. Some retailers offer it for a lower price depending on current promotions.
The picture quality is awesome. You can read tech specs, pixel counts, and color analyses elsewhere; just trust me when I say the picture looks fantastic.
I bought the TV for two reasons: UHD HDR, and Chromecast built-in. Unfortunately, Chromecast support needs work. The TV loses connection with the provided remote on a regular basis, and sometimes the remote simply won't recognize that the TV exists - even after a full power cycle (TV, remote, router(!)) or two. Very frustrating.
The remote also appears to have some gimped version of Android, so a lot of apps simply don't support it. For example, I can control my TV with the remote, but not my wifi connected AC because of the lack of support.
Another mixed positive: audio pass-through works very well. Oddly, however, there is an audio sync issue when playing through the TV speakers. With stock settings, the sound is better synced through my 5.1 system than the speakers - which is just weird. Good luck getting a perfect audio sync.
Overall, I like the TV. I wish I could love it, fully expected to, but the quirks are just too annoying to allow me to fall in love. Oh well. I don't regret my purchase.
we bought a vizio smart tv, no aps for internet and nothing coming out that the support knows of, so we bought a co-star as it says it is google chrome based for internet as their browser, which keeps saying it needs adobe flash update and it doesn't update, so nothing works on this!! I contacted support and all the guy kept saying was I'm sorry we are working on an update for hbogo and it is googles responsibilty to update their site, but it's vizio's product and one would think they would make sure it worked. The man did not help me at all, so we will return the vizio co - star and go with a different brand that hopefully works if not they have a better support system!!
The Vizio tv we purchased stopped working within one year. We contacted customer service and after speaking with a supervisor, technician was scheduled to come out. Technician couldn't repair the tv. Vizio refused to give us a full refund, we were forced to accept a replacement. We purchased the warranty and the extended warranty. As of today, we followed up, and Vizio CSR provided us withe third party phone number, but the tv has not been shipped to them. We called back to Vizio and spoke with CSR Tony(South Dakota), he was the best. Tony acknowledged our frustration and he provided the best customer service assistance. I provided Tony with the 3 different claim numbers, that were previously provided. Tony with the help of Jenna, had to research why we hadn't received the replacement tv. We purchased the Vizio tv for our 94yo father. Our father has been without a tv for over a month. We asked Vizio for a full refund, so that we could go buy a new one. Per Vizio supervisor Bill, we could only receive a replacement, we could not receive a refund. As of today, we have no replacement tv. Per Tony's checking, he had to contact the warehouse and the warehouse need to track the tv's location and we should receive a call within 2 days. So, now if we don't hear from the warehouse by Thursday, we need to call Vizio back. We asked for a full refund, now we're asking to be paid for our time on the phone problem solving why our father doesn't have a tv. The CSR's are great. It appears that supervisors drop the ball and they are doing a very poor job of problem solving. I tried to get direct contact for corporate and that doesn't exist. So, Vizio will accept consumers money for their products, but when the products fail, Vizio will not assist the consumers resolve the problem. That is unfair and why not give a full refund.
Rarely. Do i EVER waste my valuable time and post a comment about any product i purchase, BUT alas i have come across a company that drops the ball 98%. vizio sold me a tv through its distributor best buy the sales experience was great but 12 months later i have blackout tv screen. I will never purchase their products EVER AGAIN AND I WILL RECOMMEND IN MY CIRCLE OF LIFE NEVER TO SUPPORT THEM OR ANY COMPANY AFFILIATED TO THEM. I WILL PROMOTE A NO BUY AS LONG AS I BREATHE IN MY LUNGS. yea its a tv i know but guess what they could have handled me 10 times better than pissing on my back and telling me its rain.
I purchased THE Vizio M75-C1 75" 4K UHD TV on 5/11/16 directly form Vizio for a cost of $2,781.99. From day one, I get picture freezes on a daily basis. The picture freezes, but the sound continues, then after about 2 minutes or so, the TV turns itself off and back on (reboots). If I didn't didn't have this problem, I would probably rate it 4.5 -, 5 stars as it has a great picture and features. Also, I was charged Tax from a CA based company and I'm in NJ. Because of these things, I wound would now think twice before buying another Vizio TV.
I ordered the Vizo D-24 for use in my garage near my workbench. I used a wall mount in order to swivel the TV. I am in the process of ordering the Vizio 29" sound bar to augment the sound. The only difficulty so far is finding the right antenna to mount to pickup local channels. So far the TV provides a very good picture for the smart channels (accessed through Wi-Fi.) . This TV met my needs at a reasonable price and very good picture quality.
Very disappointed with their products and repairs! I purchased a 70" Vizio model E70-F3 back in April or May 2019. The TV shut off on Sept. 15th and a repair tech came to fix it. something didn't get resolved properly as the TV would now turn off when we turned it off, but then it would automatically turn on and stay on with the blue screen. I called customer service and they wanted to replace my TV with model V705-G3 (lower/older model) so I asked to have my unit fixed. They prefer to exchange but I'm not taking an older/ lower model. Makes no sense!!!! Either get me the same apples to apples exchange, or upgrade my TV since I have been sold a defective unit!!! Not a great way to show great customer service or appreciation!
Case #7734916. Do not buy Vizio! Unless, that is, you have $1,000 to throw away each year because that's how long their products last. Customer service is a joke, they made no attempt to remedy the situation. I will never buy their products again and I will tell everyone I know to save themselves the time, money, and headache as well.
The only reason I bought this was because the apps on my Visio that was about 1 1/2 years old crapped or and could not be fixed.
I find the changes in tv cumbersome. Why take Netflix, Amazon, etc off the tv and force the use of phone, iPad for another app. And I pay for Amazon and can't get it now. If I had known these two things I would not have purchased this tv.
I paid a couple hundred bucks for a surround sound system with a sound bar, subwoofer, and two satellite speakers. The satellite speakers and subwoofer are all controlled through the sound bar. Just after the one year warranty expired the sound bar quit working, due to a burned out power supply. There was no power surge or storm or anything. All other elections in the house were fine and it was even plugged into a surge protector. The part was just a bad apple. I tried to get a hold of customer support to do something about it. It took them a week to get back to me, and in the end they told me the warranty was up, so too bad, I just have to fork over another couple hundred bucks to buy a new one. Forget that. I will never buy another Vizio product again. Terrible quality and terrible service.
Love the new M50-D1 SmartCast Home Theater Display with High Dynamic Range and Dolby Vision support. This product was provided by VIZIO in exchange for posting this review but I really fell in love with this TV and all the features like More
At the time of purchase 2k felt a lot for TV but it makes you feel like a million bucks every time you turn it on and watch it especially if connected to a surround sound stereo system. Wife very happy and kids happier. Best bang for the buck!
I was hoping for a better picture .it seems really dark and i use to love the split screen mode and pip .the darks can be blotchy at times i m hoping that will change when i get a 4k dvd player and 4k cable other than those i really love it .gaming is so cool but u need deferent setting for games and cable tv and blueray i am getting use to it .still its a steal for what i paid next to more expensive models
The TV was well packaged and arrived without any problems. Set up was easy and the TV has a great picture. Right now there is little 4K programing, but like HD a number of years ago it will evolve and become the norm. Right now the only thing I'm waiting for is the Vizio firmware upgrade that will enable the TV to view HDR Blu-Ray disks. They said it would happen late 2016. We will se if the make good on their promise. Right now I'm still waiting!
The display is great. It's very clear and the display menu options help customizing to different resolutions, as well as light and color balances. The sound could be better, but it's not bad. My last vizio TV had a remote with a keyboard on the back. I don't like that this one doesn't have that. In addition, the back of the remote slips on and off too easily; that needs to be tightened up. Overall, it is a quality unit.
i love my new tv . i had a 5yr old 60 in sharp tv and it quit. the picture on vizio is much better. i also have a 50 in class m in bedroom that i love .
Not much luck with our Vizio P-50. We had issues right off the bat where the TV would just turn off automatically and even after calling customer service, they determined that we had a glitchy TV. It was replaced. The new one stays on, but there are moments where the picture fades in and out. We were told to turn off the auto light sensor but it still happens during some dark scenes. VERY ANNOYING. The standalone pad is not useful to us since we have AppleTV. Overall, not impressed. They do get two stars for owning up for the bad TV and replacing it quickly and for their customer service. We are just too tired to call them again with issue after issue. We'll just deal with it. Not ideal.
We purchased our 55'' Vizio Smart 4K TV several weeks ago. We Love it. We looked at one for months in "the store" saying we were going to get one. I am so happy that we bought it straight from Vizio. Not only do we get Vizio back up but it saved us close to 100 dollars. Thank you Vizio for our wonderful TV. It has a beautiful picture and great sound. Netflix is so fast and easy. Just a great TV all around. I would recommend this TV to everyone.
tv is pretty darn good . sound is much better than expected ,especially since I don"t hear as good as I use to. BUT, the bad news is there is no way I ever got a straight answer in regards to an extended warranty. I needed to know where a service tech would be sent from ,since I live in a very rural area . the last tv I needed repair on ,the techs would not come this far . so it was a waste of money for the extended warranty. with vizio I was hoping things would be different . never got a ""STRAIGHT"" answer . just a run around saying saying yes a warranty is available in your area . DUH!! I know that...but what service shop will come here so I can confirm they will service my tv at my home .. very simple question .. BUT CAN I GET AN HONEST ANSWER??? NO ... so here I am with a new tv and after one year SOL ... NOT AT ALL HAPPY ABOUT THAT ...
"0" Stars; spent over $1000 on a TV, they "recalled the tv" and I wasn't aware of the recall until after mine STOPPED working--just over 2 yrs old. They won't repair or replace. BAD TV, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Stay away from any Vizio products!!
I'm very happy with my purchase. Got a 60" 2160p (4K) TV for under $1K & free shipping. Smart, too (can watch online sources in 2160 w/o PC). Had trouble at first getting video settings that worked across different channels & sources but got it sorted out after a week or so.
Only slight negative: I use the built-in tuner (cord cutter long ago) which is not as sensitive as the 55" 1080p Vizio I had before. Lost a few marginal channels (on the same amplified antenna). But overall satisfied.
Bought my TV only to have it recalled mid shipment. Now I'm getting request to review a tv I don't have. Still plan on buying just waiting for a better opportunity. I like vizio and have enjoyed their products but I guess I will wait a bit longer.
I have the 2016 65" 4k uhd display since release now and love it, never did much to calibrate it, I'm still using standard settings and the picture is great. Casting works very well with all my devices. The only problem I could find with my OCD senses is one I had to turn down brightness to around 85 (that's a good thing!!) And very rarely I'll turn on my ps4 before the display and the input will not register so I'll just cycle thru the inputs again to get it to recognize the signal. I'm hoping it will last as long as my last Vizio being 10 yrs old. I haven't tried any Dolby anything yet so that's for another review. But overall it's a thumbs up!
Customer service is below atrocious. I bought a Vizio TV and couldn't get their soundbar to recognize the TV. "Support" took my phone number, made me run through the basics, then disconnected me and never called back.
Months later tech support put me through same routine and said a technician would come to my house to fix the problem.
Now they've emailed me threatening to close my complaint since I have not returned either Vizio product -- which was never even considered as a technician was supposed to visit.
Regarding service, they do not deserve even one star. You're on your own if you need help as Vizio's help is abysmal!
I've had my VIZIO TV for about half a month now. So far its been awesome. Watching shows on Netflix are stellar. The picture quality went beyond my expectations. There may be TVs with better picture quality out there, but for the price on this one, it isn't half bad.
Worst customer service experience. The moment I got on the phone I explained. The TV was moved and leaned up against something. He immediately said the TV wasn't covered. Laughed and was above average rude and complicated. There warranty is rather bland in comparison to other brands. I think that is the whole purpose of the product to begin with. I had to make a big deal out his actions to get a case number. For a private number to call me at off set times, from my schedule. The old duck and dodge. To inform me it wasn't covered. Do not buy these over priced products unless they some how end up making like a waterproof product or something. I have had one other TV and been using this brand for 3 to 4 years and had a simple off set product defect. Cheap as the other brands at a considerable lesser price.
Reviewed the Vizio M50-D1 - 50" Smartcast Display. Product was well packaged and received quickly. Picture quality is amazing, love the smartcast integrations and tablet remote.
The quality of this Display feels excellent with a picture that has one of the best black contrast levels with dark black levels around. Its the next best thing to OLED. I watch in a pitch black room and am very happy with the picture experience! That being said, I have a major issue that Is the time it takes to actually start watching. Occasionally I like to watch over the air TV and that requires another exterior device and another set of inputs to access that source. I prefer my older Vizio that has everything including an "instant Netflix" button on one remote and I can be up and watching in seconds. This "Display" takes minutes of fumbling through remotes, waiting for "casting" to obtain access and spool up. its a D R A G . Literally. Give me back my TV and all in one remote.
I purchased my first and LAST Vizio tv in November of last year. 3 weeks ago the picture just went out on me but the sound was still there. I called, they said this is something they are aware of...and will get my tv shipped right away. A week and half later I take off half a day to receive the tv and get a call after my scheduled time that the box is damaged. Here it is 3 weeks later and still do not have my tv! I will never buy or suggest anyone else purchase ANY Vizio products because they clearly suck!!
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST TV EVER MADE!!! If there was a zero option, I would choose it! . Unfortunately, I own 3 of them, and I have to reboot them continuously to get them to work. On top of that, they were made to only support Netflix...no other streaming platform works.
This unit was a replacement for a Vizio that I had bought almost 5 years ago and had failed. This new Vizio is awesome in many ways, such as, it is one third the weight, and thickness of the old one. The picture quality is much improved too. Also, the additional features has made it easier and enjoyable to work and watch. I cannot wait to get a much higher end unit for our Living Room in the near future.
Returned it. The "vizio-cast" requires the use of my phone or tablet to run the TV. Wasn't clear in the information that is what I was getting. I understand M and P models come with a remote - tablet like device and would have preferred that... BUT none of it works with Amazon Prime. So, then you have to get the Amazon device to that. Too much of a mess. Display was great, set up was not too bad once I realized I had to use my phone. Also, couldn't get ESPN live to cast from my phone (Iphone 6).
Excellent quality, does a great job, sound quality a little weak, but fine once you get use to it. Color quality is awesome and the 60 inch seems to dwarf a 42".
I purchased a brand new TP series TV in Dec 14. I had problems within one year and called them about 13 months after I purchased it. The display completely failed on the right half of the screen. They told me too bad and they would not do anything about it. because I did not call them within 12 months. They are selling poor quality products and I would never recommend them to anyone. There is a reason they are so cheap. Do yourself a quick favor and google their quality and you will read tons of negative reviews on them.
I bought a XVT3D474SV (Top of Vizio's 3D Line of Flatscreen TV's) in July of 2011, in September of 2012 the TV went out, at first it was no picture but sound worked, then it was No Picture, No Sound, and since then it has been in and out of Repair Shops to the present day being nothing more than a Paperweight, granted I should have bought an Extended Repair plan, HOWEVER, when you drop a grand or more on a TV set, a normal person would expect it to last more than a 13 months. Called Customer Service, and though most of them are pleasant on the phone, they will no only try to downgrade your purchase, but offer you a lesser model (Features, screen size, at a so called reduced price, in my case, 50 bucks off a Refurbished Model with free shipping) If you buy a Vizio, buy a EXTENDED WARRANTY, because these TV's are prone to failures, (Google it) I am amazed that people haven't gotten together and filed a class action lawsuit against Vizio for making such junk.
I love my 50" Vizio D1. It has been an awesome television, it is my 4th or 5th right now and I've had nothing but great success from all of them! Dating back to the 47" Galeria from 2007. At any rate, the picture quality, color, resolution and everything is incredible! It is an excellent television! Keep up the great work!
Purchased a Vizio P652ui-B2 for over $1,400. Was renovating a home and was delayed installing. Installed in May of 2015 and watch the TV two times (infant children in the house). Turned it on Saturday (8/13) and the TV had a line in the middle and each side was flipped upside down. Attempted to make a claim because the TV was outside of Vizio's 1-year warranty to no avail. Opportunity for a customer for life...I'll NEVER purchase another Vizio.
Absolutely love my M70-D3 it would of been nice to of paid 1800 for it but that's beside the fact. I was a hardcore Lg fan before purchased this tv on a hunt hand I have not been let down yet picture is amazing quality is amazing heck even the sound I wouldn't complain about. The remote is net but I really don't use it much do to a ps4, haven't used it alot for smart cast but when I have it doesn't disconnect like everyone has told me. I looked into them at Best Buy where I was told they had connection issues and would drop the connection between remote control or your phone app well I have yet to experience any of those issues, hands down I would recommend this TV in a heart beat. Even my friend who has a 65 inch Samsung 4K loves this tv for gaming! Thanks Ryan
I love my vizio uhd tv with hdr. The following problems persist. 1. I cannot connect the tablet to my internet through Verizon modem. So tablet is useless to me. 2. Every now and then tv screen freezes. I have to turn off and on to unfreeze the screen. . 3. I don't know when hdr is in play. Abdus saleem
I ordered a 48 inch tv from you and it was delieverd by mail, i was able to bring it into the house and set it up on a dresser in my bedroom. I am 77 years old and felt pretty proud of myself. Thank you for the easy instructions.
(VIZIO sent me this display in exchange for a review)
If you've been looking to purchase a Smart TV, there's no smarter choice than the VIZIO M50-D1 SmartCast Home Theater Display. Unlike other TVs which have popular apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc) built into the TV, the VIZIO M50-D1 takes a different approach entirely, building Google Cast support into each set. This allows you to stream your favorite content from 1000+ apps right to the big screen using the included 6 Android Tablet Remote!
In addition, this set features 4K Ultra HD resolution, High Dynamic Range w/ Dolby Vision support, and full-array LED backlighting with up to 64 active LED zones.
How they are able to offer such a feature-packed TV for $849 (or less, depending on where you purchase it from) is beyond me, but I'm not complaining.
The picture quality is great (once you properly calibrate it), Google Cast is a game changer, and UHD 4K stuff looks incredible. The audio is adequate given the TV's thin profile, but a sound bar definitely helps.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with this set, and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality TV without breaking the bank!
I bought the P65-C1 last April and it has been the best TV (maybe electronic purchase period) I have ever made. I have not had any problems what so ever and the PQ is fabulous! It up converts my Charter cable signal just fine and 4k streaming is unbelievable. I highly recommend this TV not only for the price... 2 to 3 times less than the other guys.. but for any price it is high quality. My wife calls it her TV, enough said.
This company does not honor email updates and refuses to answer email to their support address. They definitely are spammers. If they had a good product they wouldn't need to sink to these sales technics.
Review Statement: The author of this review received a sample unit from the manufacturer for the purposes of this review in exchange for the review.
If you are like me and possibly have looked down at the Vizio brand in the past in favor of more expensive, well known brands, I can assure you that you can put your fears aside when it comes to the company s new SmartCast M-Series 4K UHD displays. I have been blown away by the level of quality packed into this very affordable 4K display, which comes loaded with future proof technologies that the big brands don t have yet (HDR10 and Dolby Vision support), and is close to half of the asking price of similar models by companies not called Vizio.
The whole SmartCast system adds a new way to interact with your display, and makes the experience feel very familiar thanks to the inclusion of a 6 Android tablet remote. Luckily you can download and install the Vizio SmartCast app to your own iOS or Android device if you re not a fan of the included remote, or you can just use your current streaming hardware like the Amazon Fire TV, Roku, or an app enabled gaming console with one of the display s four HDMI ports.
In terms of picture quality the SmartCast M-Series 50 outputs crystal clear UHD content that really looks vibrant thanks to the HDR10 and Dolby Vision support (content dependent). The picture is bright and lit uniformly thanks to the Full-Array local dimming technology it employs, so it looks good in both well lit and darker rooms. It really does offer next level display technology for an affordable price with a bit of future proofing built into it. The biggest downsides are the lack of HDMI 2.0 ports (only 1 included), and the lack of an OTA TV tuner, but there is hardware out there to make up for these omissions, albeit with a bit of cost being factored in to the overall asking price. Vizio has hit a homer with the SmartCast M-Series, and has made me change my tune on the brand moving forward. I can wholeheartedly recommend the 50 model, as it is the one I tested, but I have faith the larger models, or the slightly more expensive P-Series displays, will feature the same level of quality in bigger and better packages.
I have learned my lesson, which is don t judge a tech company by its cover, because Vizio is more than just a brand for discount stores and frugal spenders. Plus they give you a free HDMI cable in every box, what other tech company does that!
The worst customer service ever. I opened a service ticket due to pi ture quality on a smart television that was pirchases one year ago. The ticket qas opened on Friday late afternoon. They asked for a copy of yhe receipt and a picture of the issue. Saturday morning, i received an smail that ths ticket was solved. I called customer service and expressed my concern. I was told that after speaking with the tech working on the ticket, they are sending a replacement. Monday morning, I receive an email asking for a copy if the receipt again, the date is missing. I call again and get the run around about what's going on. I was told you might be outside of your warranty but you won't ever be outside of your warranty. I ask for a supervisor because I wasnt getting a straight answer. I am then told that I was given the wrong info before, but they will see what can be done. Now I am asked to wait AT LEAST 48 hours to see what can be done. This is very frustrating!!! This was a brand new television, not refurbished. It was purchased online and had to be delivered. They do not want to honor the date the television was connected because that puts me within the warranty. I will be filling a BBB claim
I use to like Vizio until they completely dropped the ball with Disney Plus!!! They won t even provide a timeline as to when Disney Plus will be available as an actual on set app!!! A TV Set is not a content controller, that should be up to you the consumers as to what you would like to subscribe to - but NOT with Vizio! It s not even an option! You can t get Disney Plus - or at least not until Vizio figures out how they will get their cut from Disney! Until that time, Vizio Customers are just out of luck! Looks like I have clearly purchased my last Vizio Product!
I bought this TV last spring, I have experienced no problems so far and the quality is great. The quality and size for the price is great. I would recommend this TV to anyone.
This TV has been an excellent choice. The size, design are perfect for our large family room. The picture is beautiful too. I appreciate the TV's support for ChromeCast. That brings a whole new set of entertainment options to us. Although we haven't viewed much in the way of 4K content yet, this smart TV provides excellent up-scaling.
Love the size and picture quality is good. (Not as good as my M-Series). Only thing I don't like which is something that happens with every Vizio I own aloe have owned is while watching television the screen goes black for about 5 secs. Any idea why?
This company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I started a refund on November 11. Here it is December 28 and I get a call saying they have experienced the 3rd I.T. glitch so my refund is delayed yet again. I will not receive it until at least January 7, 2021. I have had to call them no less than seven times during this refund process, and each time they dropped the ball, something fell through the cracks, a forms wasn't attached, a new request had to be created or something that would not have been noticed unless I called. And apparently their supervisors do not have supervisors so you can't even speak to someone who has the ability to get things done. I found their V-series televisions to be inferior - horrible color quality unless you're sitting right in front of the unit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING VIZIO PRODUCTS.... EVER.
Vizio sold me a TV with a defective module for 4k@60 on June 8th 2016, through Amazon. I could not have known of the defect while under warranty as I owned no device that supported 4k@60hz. Now that I've learned about it they won't do anything for me. This company is now refusing to take responsibility. This looks very bad for you indeed. This is -deceptive advertising-.
