Always a great place to grab a good beer. Last time we went was to celebrate St. Patrick's day! It is always a blast! Highly recommend it to anyone to that is looking to have a good time. Great live music, drinks and atmosphere. Of course cant forget about the delicious Irish car bombs and the green beer to celebrate.

Fun bar, but they really don't care about the costumers been kicked out right after buying something a few times. Just stick with the chicken and Dudley's if you ask me.

Guinness is just the way I like it. They have a ton of other beers, frequent specials, and probably the hardest working bar staff in town. Visit when Blaggards are playing for an extra treat.
Great place to just hang out and not get caught up in the mess of drunk college students running around on Northgate. Good beer selection. Our favorite menu items are the Irish Root Beer and Irish Tea (think Long Island, but with Jameson). They also have super comfy couches and a few party games lying around. Occasionally there is live music which is pretty good. They host an enormous St Patrick's Day celebration with green beer, live music, and a bunch of drunk people. It will shut down the entire street.
OBannons was always my favorite bar on northgate. Friendly and skilled bartenders. Dirt cheap prices (at least a few years ago). Perfect for those trying to avoid the overt country scene at other places.

O'Bannon's will serve you a fantastically broad selection of ever-so-slightly overpriced (for a bar) beer in College Station. If you are a beer Coin-O-Sewer (as the French say), I believe that O'Bannon's will not disappoint in terms of breadth of selection, as they will always have something for everyone. Whether thats a can of Bud for the normal folks, an IPA for the hipsters, stouts for the more Euro crowd, etc. O'Bannon's will have something for everyone.
Edit: The prices are actually quite reasonable, I'm just a broke college student.
I usually go to O'Bannons on Tuesdays for karaoke night, & if I go on the weekends, I grab a beer if I/my group can find a table or just an Irish car bomb shot or mint chocolate chip shot (tastes like ice cream!). Bartenders are always nice or crack jokes, & the bathrooms are pretty great.

I love O'Bannon's. When the stresses of school are dwindled enough to allow me the time, I go every week for half Price pint night on Wednesdays with a group of buddies. Tuesdays are also half price tea night, AND karaoke. A ton of fun for very little money. Great atmosphere. Favorite place on Northgate.
They serve Guinness correctly which my friend who loves the stuff said was important. Nice bar, prices are good.

Nice little spot for a great variety of beers. The ambiance here is nice, too. It doesn't seem to have changed much since I was at A&M 7 years ago. Quite frankly, that's good for nostalgia, but it seems they haven't really put in any effort in updating much, like the bathroom. Either way, it's cool. Good place to be.
Outstanding group of bartenders who genuinely care about what they do. I recently went to Peru, and when I came back, several of the bartenders asked me how my trip had been. Very nice of them.
Wednesday night is the best, half -price draft all night.
Bar staff is very knowledgeable. Endless beers on tap and/or bottle. If you can't find something you like here, you don't like alcohol.

Still the best. Honest staff that genuinely wants to get to know you. Everyone from the bar staff to door guys try to learn who you are and it feels like a small family. Great experiences every time I come and always a smiling face to welcome you with whatever you want a pint of!

Favorite NG bar, hands down. A huge beer selection, and the staff is very friendly. You can usually find somewhere to sit too, which is a welcome change from standing everywhere else.
Imagine yourself walking into a christmas store but all year around it's open. And everytime you walk in you are greeted with the sounds of Irish bells and the gift of cheers and beer.

This place is now my favorite in Northgate! Went Friday night and is the perfect atmosphere if you wanna hangout and drink and chill without it being too intense. Perfect if you're looking to have a good time but maybe not wanting to go too wild. Very high quality crafted drinks and very helpful staff. Will be for sure returning.
The bartenders are so rude. They ripped my friend's beer tour card because he took too long to pick a beer.

I am deaf and this manager Ashley Campbell refused to serve me due to her saying I don't have a "normal" voice. I had taken one shot then cut me off and laughed at my voice. I used to love this place but now I will have to find another bar to hang out with friends. I have been deaf for years and was never turned down (even at this bar) because of my "deaf voice".

Best place to grab a beer you wouldn't normally get any where else on Northgate. The staff is friendly and trivia is fin on Monday nights. Only thing is they need to get their coffee fixed so we can enjoy our Irish coffees!
If you want variety of quality beers, this is the best place around Northgate to get it. If you're out to get balls to the walls drunk, it's a good place to stop by for Irish Car-Bombs or a few shots.
Definitely a beer bar, but that's because there's lots to choose from. That isn't to say they don't have a plenty adequate liquor selection as well. It's roomy on the inside, the service is pretty good, and the drink specials are nice too. It's definitely a little less in your face than other Northgate bars and it makes for a good place to hang when you get to that point in the night where you don't feel like hopping from place to place just to socialize and drink.

Compared with other Northgate bars, O'Bannon's is quiet and offers a fantastic beer selection. You can still get liquor drinks here, but this Irish pub is really just known for its beer. Prices are fair, and if you happen to like the beers they're trying to clear out, then the prices are even better. Bigger bathrooms than most NG bars, cleaner overall than most, and the staff is more knowledgeable (beer-wise) than most. I highly recommend this bar if you're trying to chill while you drink. Don't come here if you wanna be loud and/or belligerent - there are PLENTY of other bars which cater to that kind of party.
Pretty darn good Guinness off the tap. Gets a little too busy on a saturday night after an A&M football game but that is expected. Wished they served food with the beer though. Overall, really great experience and beer too!

Passing through College station and this place made me want to stay a other day! Relaxing, good drinks, great entertainment. Forget all the bars in town . . .
The bartenders are jerks. Waited at the bar for 30 mins with a couple other dudes while they helped all the women that got there way after us. I got a beer that they put in a stupid tiny wine glass because the keg popped and they still charged me the same as a normal size.

Not a very busy place on Northgate during weekdays and they have 50 percent off of drinks on Wednesdays. They have many varieties of drinks and the staffs are friendly. The climate is pretty decent. I would probably consider coming here more often with friends.

Nice selection of beers including local area breweries. Large smoking patio in the back. The inside immitates an Irish pub with dim lighting, hard wood floors, private drinking booths and high tables with stool seating. They also have board games! Fun place to grab a pint of your favorite craft beers.
