A fantastic venue for an event.
Their event organiser Kate Pearson went above and beyond to ensure our wedding met every possible expectation, she was with us every step of the way and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable.
With her keen creative eye, she ensured our day went better than we could have possibly imagined.
All of their staff were brilliant too, special mentions to Babychen and Luna.
Good service and attentive staff in a cosy, elegant and tranquil setting. Slightly removed from the bustling centre, this hotel boasts water-way views and some original and quaint features throughout the building. The beds are comfy and the cooked breakfasts are a delight, but one star removed for the myriad of broken and dirty toilets on the ground floor.
Fantastic place in the city centre. Staff were nice, pleasant and not over baring. Food was bang on especially the breakfast.
They have done a fantastic job especially during this difficult time. We felt very safe and social distancing is in place.
Work meetings held here great tea and coffee and biscuits
The room was spacious & clean. Has a good night's sleep. Staff very polite & helpful. Would definitely stay there again. You need good directions to find it as it is a little out of the way of the city centre. Can't comment on the food as we ate out.
Nice hotel, if expensive for the night. Converted mills with character.
Great hotel with good spacious areas to relax.
Room layout was excellent and really nice.
Downside... Could not get TV to work. Hair dryer was broken. Small stuff that didn't bother us as were only staying for one evening.
Excellent services provided by very helpful staffs.
I definitely would visit again.
Visited here as partner was bought a Voucher deal for a birthday treat. Arrived and greeted by friendly staff. Felt a little uncomfortable when asked loudly if we had a voucher deal. Guided to table and told what we would expect. I asked for a pint instead of the included glass of prosecco, was told would be extra charge which was agreed. Drinks and scones turned up which was very nice. On finishing we went to pay the bill to then be told bluntly I have to pay for the extra pint. Once pointed out the second glass of prosecco never turned, we was faced with " have it now then if you want " attitude. Felt a little belittled as turned up with voucher deal.
Really good place in the heart of Manchester. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The service is amazing and quick. Only downside is the parking lot which is super small. If it is full you will have to park in the nearby NCP parking lot which can be very inconvenient.
Absolutely fantastic welcome at the door by friendly concierge very quick and smooth check in the room was spotless and well the beds I wanted to take home so much so me and my partner will be booking in next time we are in Manchester thank you for a lovely stay x
Did some training there. They handled it well. Still using the pen they want you to steal.
Functional room, lovely friendly staff, top buffet breakfast and bar worth a visit
Nice hotel. Love the ceilings. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast tasted good.
If there were 7 stars that is what I would give all the staff. Everyone is absolutely brilliant they made our stay so special
This place is very nice and is situated near the up and coming spinning fields..so a good arrange of shops bars and night clubs..the hotel it's self is very nice with great food and drinks..beds were realy comfortable and room was spotless.......with great staff that will help with everything you need...wheelchair access and on site parking.
Nice hotel well located for central Manchester. The building is a warehouse conversion on the banks of the Irwell. Spacious comfortable rooms but the bathrooms are looking a little tired.
Good location, and great breakfast. However a bit cold and did not find the mattress comfy.
Great hotel for Manchester stays, superb staff, great deals available, very friendly.
Great hotel and location, staff very helpfull and lovely breakfast .
Attended a meeting, good facilities and atmosphere.
Meeting venue for DIT event. Very nice lunch buffet friendly and courteous staff.
A lovely heritage hotel, not for tall people though
Friendly service, warm rustic lounge, delicious breakfast
Friendly service and a great atmosphere in the bar after
Bar staff in main bar really bad attitude . not made to feel welcome at all, it felt as though we were in the way. staff serving meal very polite and courteous.
Such a brilliant experience we had, room was perfect, dinner was amazing(so tasty), friendly staff nothing more that we could want, 10/10!!!Thank you.
Lovely Hotel, Though Reception Service Very Slow, Room Bathroom a Bit Tired
Afternoon was average had to send it back bread was dry and crusty came back a bit better. With a little more care could have been very pleasant.
This is a good hotel, popular for events and weddings and a good location if you don t want to stop in the center of Manchester
Lovely elegant yet comfortable feel to the place. Very attentive and friendly staff
Very friendly and genuine welcome upon arrival. Great location for the city centre. The room was lovely, clean and well presented. The hotel retains various features from its industrial past which give it character. Breakfast was great too with fresh poached eggs. Recommend as a great stay.
Went for afternoon tea staff was welcoming especially Bruno who as outstanding customer service treats you like a vip afternoon tea was amazing and great portions
I liked the location of the hotel and the quality of my room. The interior of the hotel was fantastic and the breakfast excellent. It is a hour walk from Etihad stadium. I loved that fact that the hotel was near downtown (5 min walk) but not smack dead center of downtown which made getting here and parking a breeze. I also like the amenities in my room
Amazing and great Food and Customer service highly recommend near Shopping too
Went on a canal trip called Soul River. It was brilliant.x
Stayed here quite a few times.
Location great place for spinningfields bars and restaurants.
Shopping 5 minute walk to centre
Hotel
Staff always friendly
Rooms really nice with old wood ceilings and brick walls very contemporary use of old canal warehouse
Don't stay here, if you do, inspect your room for the smallest amount of wear and tear because they will try changing you for it when you leave
Had afternoon tea here for my friends hen do and it was great! The staff were very attentive, the sandwiches and cakes were delicious and there was plenty of them- we all got bags to take some away at the end! They also catered very well for the vegetarians and vegans in the group. Would highly recommend!
Fabulous afternoon tea in a really nice hotel. Definitely recommend.
Just got back home from a lovely and enjoyable stay here.
Didn't actually stay for the night but was there for the works christmas doo! Had a great night :)
I really exquisite to stay and enjoy your stay in Manchester good food good drink
I stayed at the Marriott hotel Water Street Manchester from 4th to 6th September. The first room I was allocated room 102 had flies in it, so I asked to be given another room. 416 was that room. I will let the photos tell the picture of a room that smelt a bit off. I reported the findings to hotel staff and nothing has been done. Thanks Marriott.
Great rooms (large with fancy ceiling & pillars), friendly staff, nice location close to Deansgate
I love the character of this hotel. My husband stay 3 nights a week for work and would not stay anywhere else whilst in Manchester. I go up for a night when I can. Lovely lounge and good breakfast.
Great value for a Sunday night stay, doors, surfaces starting to look a little tired, especially the lift. Beds were fantastically comfy!
Very expensive but beautiful. But come on guys, the name is overboard. Could you not pick 1 and stick to it
Checked in to the room and it was cold. Out the heating on full, came back after a few hours and the room was still cold. Told reception, they brought a portable heater to the room. Turn the portable heater on full and the heater was broken. Told them the next day after a cold sleepless night and had to pack our things and move to a new room. Got offered a room upgrade next time we stay with them after complaining again. Not what we expected from a 4star Marriott
Old style new hotel with the good location. Good service, good bar downstairs, good stylisation and design
Great hotel, unique style, good service and a Starbucks on site :)
Good hotel, great location, nice bar and breakfast, rooms are really cool with some original warehouse features but the bed was a little worn. Otherwise, would stay again.
Comfortable hotel and very well located. Small breakfast a bit spartan, but ...
Brilliant customer service, excellent place for various events
Excellent place and close proximity to many attractions. Had a great time.
Parking was a challenge however all central locations are premium.
Wouldn't hesitate to book again!
Assertive mentoring conference, lovely venue, food fabulous, great staff
Excellent hotel lovely rooms and polite staff always on hand to support
Good size rooms, quite location giving a great nights sleep. Friendly checkin
Great place for seminars, lovely food, great access and great staff
Well ok place as expected of 4 star but no Indian breakfast surprised knowing that whole of India is here for cricket match
It's a beautiful hotel. But at the moment it's surrounded by building sites so it takes a bit of the glamour away.
