Great location , rooms were high standard and staff were very helpful and provided excellent service for the whole of your stay. Would return and would visit again, decor and interior superb very relaxing.
Great experience. Nice wooden interior. Comfortable soft beds. Bathub fills fast with water. Many lamps & lights. Large table. Good internet. Attention to detail in the interior. Just a higher quality upgraded feel about everything. But also hence really expensive. Cocktails & olives in the bar tasted great! Friendly young staff. We could hear every word from the neighbour and tv next door on the third floor. A bit annoying when it's very late.
Hotel is situated on the edge of the city centre and about as far from the main train stations as you can get (Piccadilly is about a 30 minute walk with lugfage). Loads of building work nearby when I visited but didn't disturb me. Nice to stay in a room with some character and service was good.
I went for drinks, friendly staff, quality drinks decent prices.

Room clean although very disappointed at room size considering it was a deluxe room. Mattress very uncomfortable and noisy outside from air conditioning units. Not good value for money. Staff very pleasant
This hotel is amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the location is very close to the centre (a small wall and you are in the middle of everything) and the staff there can not do enough for you. They are friendly and attentive, always wanting to make sure your stay is a good one. Me and my partner received breakfast to the room that was delicious too. I would recommend anyone to stay here

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Allowed us to check in much earlier and advanced the cleaning of our room to the top of the list! Very close to the City Centre with a lot of food and shops within walking distance.
Cool place. All around, unfortunately, full of construction sites that will of course be gone at some point. Rooms are great, you can see clinker bricks and have combined industrial style with modern elements, really awesome. Restaurant is great !!!!!
But: why are there no toilet brushes anywhere?
Attended for a training course. Staff helpful and plentiful. Good at lunch ok but not spectacular. Some complaints from other attendees about lack of parking, but that is a problem for any hotel in central Manchester!
Whilst the staff are pleasant. They hotel and its management limits the capabilities to provide hospitality service befitting of marriott brand. Equipment in the hotel rooms is sub standard. Some of the Electrical sockets do not work, iron was not functional, no lounge, no water in the rooms, limited towling- very short on staff resulting in unusually long lead times in response. Safe deposit boxes in room very temperamental in function
Beautiful lobby and rooms with wooden ceilings. Cleaning could be better though as the room was a bit dusty.
Was actually pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room I got was very spacious and the bar/breakfast area has a very nice feel to it with interesting decor.

I love this Hotel, once on old mill. and occupied by various stars from corrie over the years it very close to spiningfield ....makes a change from the steel and glass of its neighbours

The rooms are great, look nice, good location and well presented. The ceilings are low and in the bathroom I was nearly touching the ceiling when I showered and I am 5 10!

Room service order placed, only to call back 45mins later to chase - only then I find out that the order hadn't been processed because they were missing ingredients. Nobody bother to call.

Visited for a meeting, so can't review the rooms. Hotel seemed alright though - staff was friendly, food was good and general housekeeping looked good.
Everything was great except for the room being extremely hot and no way to turn the temperature down.
The hotel was very well decorated, it had a welcoming atmosphere thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect as it is close to many attractions and food places.
Was here over the weekend fantastic hotel rooms fabulous up in the morning had breakfast it was buffet style help yourself and they cantered for everyone's needs.. Really really enjoyed my time here and will definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff, however, chipped mug in room for whole stay, lots of dust around bed space, ran out of orange juice at 7 am one day and availability of skimmed milk variable.

Delivery here early Sat morning for a client conference. All the staff were very nice to deal with. Concierge was brilliant. We eventually found a room to store items. A guests car was even moved, so I could unload safely. Top team.
The hotel is nice in a general way.. It has a few imperfections - the air condition system is not effective, room service - food provided was cold/slightly warm, cleaning service - I could show a few underneath places where there was never cleaned..
When there on a charity event it's a lovely clean place to go the staff who looked after us top notch..Food was gorgeous

A wonderful place to stay in Manchester, England. Very clean rooms, terrific staff, accommodating to early arrival and extended check out. Will send room service anytime at all and tries to prepare any dishes you request. I will always stay at this hotel. The manager helped us find transportation during the marathon when all local streets were closed to traffic. Couldn t be nicer!
