I found a great deal on a truck through the website, and though i was 500 miles away, Luis Lopez was helpful in making this long-distance buying process easy. We were able to come to terms beforehand, so that when I arrived, i was able to sign all of the paperwork, and leave with the vehicle. Their finance manager (Bernardo) was also top-notch. In fact, i have dealt with probably a dozen finance managers in my life, and he was by far the most professional, and easy to work with. He was even able to secure me an incredibly low interest rate, that was a half-point lower than my banks best rate. I had never entertained buying a vehicle from a non-local dealer, but like i said, they made it easy, and were right on the price, so the $98 plane ticket was more than justified. Thanks guys!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! Horrible. Terrible. Pathetic. Liars. Liars. Liars. I bought 2015 Ram 1500 only 32,000 miles and I thought they were so good to me at first by working with me until I got my total loss check from insurance. They let me drive off the lot with the truck with not putting a penny down knowing I would pay them when I got my insurance check bc I m a man of my word, unlike them. I put $6,000 down and they act like I put $500 down when I went back to them after 5 weeks having the truck and all their bandaids had fallen off and the entire front end was messed up for lack of better word. They had my truck for 5 DAYS for a job that takes 2 hours, replacing one lower control arm when it was supposed to be both lower control arms but people don t know anything about dodges apparently but a front end is a front end maybe 10%-20% difference but it s still a front end. Claimed they had to take it down the street to dodge dealership for them to look at it but that was another one of many many lies I was told by the liars that work there. It just bought them extra time. Then had to order the part. I never got a call to update me on where my truck was at I never got a return phone call for 4 days. I called the 5th day at 10am and my truck was magically ready and still no phone call to tell me my truck was ready. Most awful experience I ve ever had buying a truck. I m 28 and this is my 5th truck, 3rd Ram, I ve never studied the type of dumb ignorance they ve seem to mastered but I don t particularly care to.. they got that part covered. Then left my truck unlocked then claimed didn t have the keys then the keys magically appear. THEN I GET IN MY TRUCK AND IT DROVE WORST THAN WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF!! I took it to my mechanic at Jays Front End Alignment and $1,945 later it drives like it should. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

We went in to look at a car for our son listed on the dealerships website (that was not even available to see). Salesman and manager said they cannot honor their own online pricing, claiming the prices listed on their website are only applicable to customers who qualify for "various discounts" for which we did not qualify. Website says nothing of the sort. The "deal" they were able to work out for us was 25% higher than what was listed online!! SCAM!!!

My experience with Vandergriff Hyundai was truly amazing. I have to say that Manny Gaucin made my purchase a lot easier than I expected. He listened to my needs and wants and met my expectations beyond more than I could have imagined. He was very knowledgeable and patient with what I was asking. My needs were met in a timely manner and I highly recommend purchasing from Vandergriff. The team as a whole worked well together and delivered, I looked at other Hyundai dealerships around the metroplex and came back to Vandergriff in Arlington. Manny made my whole experience worthwhile and I will return for my next purchase in the future. He is truly an asset to your organization!

Went in for service. I was getting an alarm on my brand new car. David was awesome. Explained everything to me and told me what he needed from insurance. It was the smallest damage, that wasn t easy to find but they did and gave me my options. Both days I went in everyone was so courteous even though they were obviously busy. Even though it would be more convenient for me to have my repairs done by the company my insurance company requires me to get the estimate with I am taking the money they give me for the repair and going to Vandergriff.
No need to bring your own water everyone will offer you a bottle :D

Do not do business with this company. They kept my car for six weeks, upon completion of work I was given no paperwork for my records and before I could even pick up my car they were calling me wanting the loaner car back. Plus, when I finally got my car, they returned it to me dirty, out of gas and found a small dent in the passenger door. Then to top it all off, the next day my car dies. Found out that when they connected the battery, they didn't even tighten down the terminals causing my car to die intermittently. I will never, under any circumstances be taking my car back to Vandergriff.

This place has a large sales staff, so they can get to you quickly. We just bought a 2019 Santa Fe, and we love it. Cesar was very friendly, helpful and honest about the process. He wanted us to have all the information we needed to make the right decision for our family. He helped us get to the price/payment we wanted. He has stayed in contact to answer any questions we may have. The finance manager was great as well, and we got a great deal on our trade in. We were out of there way more quickly than we expected. I d definitely buy from Vandergriff Hyundai again.

I did not want to speak to him, I only wanted to speak to the finanace person and not him but he insisted in a agressive conversation after asking him to step away from the conversation please. We drove from Frisco to Arlington after not being familiar at all with this dealership. The Internet price look great and when I called them and spoke to Phillip, it was very easy. You just had the feeling that they were honorable and not like most car dealerships. They truly, and I mean truly, wanted the customer experience to be excellent. Although we paid cash for the car, the finance department namely Darius, explain the warranty packages without being pushy or acting like it was a mistake if you didn t get them. His demeanor and solid explanation warranted as purchasing one of them. He has a great sales technique as it is very honest and forthright. Truly the best car purchasing experience I have ever had!

My wife and I were in need of another vehicle. We had driven a Santa Fe since 2009 and really wanted another one. We live in Arkansas and after searching auto trader, we found one that we liked but it was in Arlington Texas at Vandergriff Hyundai. I did not think that I would have to travel to Texas to purchase a vehicle but when no dealership near me could match the deal, I booked a flight, and flew to Dallas. So glad that we did! The salesman picked me up at the airport in the vehicle that I was purchasing, took me to the dealership to sign the papers! The folks at Vandergriff treated me with respect and not like just another customer. I highly recommend them for your next car purchase!

We had come to the dealership Saturday morning for a oil change for our 2013 Hyundai dealing with your excellent service advisor Michael Frame. While we waited we were looking around the showroom and Lou Margetis asked how our service had been with Vandergriff. And then began to tell us of the great deals they had on the 2015 models. Due to a long commute, we were interested in a Hybrid. Lou took us for a test drive in a couple of models and was able to secure us a great deal and we were out of there by 1:30. Lou was very cordial, professional and it was obvious that he cared that we were completely satisfied with our purchase. Even providing us with food to snack on as we had not eaten breakfast that day. Another excellent employee of yours. With further assurances by Chris and Michael concerning the rebates and the reliability of the Sonata Hybrid and the assistance of Hector in financing all of our needs were met. Your staff continues to meet and exceed all expectations.

Had a very pleasant experience purchasing my pre-owned vehicle. Purchased warranty protection and now after driving the car for 40 days the starter is acting up; took the car back to the dealership and they tell me the starter needs to be replaced on the vehicle that has been driven for 40 days and the starter is not covered under my warranty plan. They quoted me $773 to replace the starter and only offered a discount of $253 for an out of door price of $520 after speaking to service advisor, sales advisor, sales manager and service manager. This is HORRIBLE customer service and I will NOT recommend this dealership to ANYONE.

some very simple questions and concerns, called multiple times with no reply or no one responding back to me nor following up with me at all. I felt like I ve given ample amount of time for resolution and simple communication would have solved it.

Purchased a vehicle from them one month down the road it broke down. New alternator was needed I also purchased an extended warranty from them that states if the vehicle is repaired at that dealership the waive the $100 deductible fee for the repairs. They fixed there mechanic stated did best of ability and that did not have all the tools necessary to work on my Nissan which was purchased there. Car broke down again on 12/15/20 extended warranty advised to take vehicle there. Called Vandergtiff Hyundai to advise they stated to take vehicle there. Called again to advise vehicle was in its way on tow truck said ok. When the vehicle arrived there they denied me service! Spoke with mechanic over the phone stated would not and will not service my vehicle again did not have the tools to work on a Nissan. Payed extra to have vehicle towed to another dealership. Never will again purchase a vehicle from this place. I was so embarrassed and stressed with the situation being that it was my only vehicle. Had to trade in vehicle after one and year and a half. Zero stars if I could.

Service Department.

Fernando was good as he came into a situation he was not aware of and made do with what he had. I brought my G80 in for a recall and given a time frame of 3-5 days. I specifically asked to order the recall part prior to bringing my car back. Anthony G. Did that. Brought my car back, part arrived so I dropped it off on Dec 4th 9am. After round and rounds about the extensiveness or the repair it would take longer. I spoke to Genesis Corporate and that job should have taken 3 days max. My complaint is, given the time I needed my car back to head out of town, me trusting your word when it would be done, planning 6 days just to be certain not 3-5 so I could leave room for error I didn t get my car until Dec 13th after a number of calls voicing my frustration. I understand I m not a paying customer as recalls are covered, but that 3-5 day time frame should have been enough.

Note: prioritize your clients, know what it will take to get the work done, if you don't have the people staffed don't promise a date. It's Simple to turn away a time frame where "I" as a customer would have been happy to go elsewhere.

Trust, reliability and work quality is all we as customers need and why I was a customer.

Fernando being new handled it well, I know he did the best with what he was given.

Vandergriff Hyundai pays close attention to the needs of their customers. I purchased a 2013 Veloster, with a trade in. The customer support is extremely great, after placing a phone call I received follow-up phone calls from different departments to ensure everything I needed was taken care of the first time. This dealership respects your time and works with your schedule. Jeff was my salesman and he is extremely kind and easy to work with. I got a great deal on my Veloster and a super cheap price for the programming of a key fob I purchased with a third party. This dealership has made purchasing a vehicle painless!

They have seemed to be in a steady downward spiral.

My wife took our Sonata in for repairs (hard noise). Didn't hear back.

After 5 follow-up phone calls to find out what they found, I was told that the car was ready for pick-up. Jarod told me that the oil change was done.

I asked to speak to the Service Manager (Bill Hale). I sat on eternal hold.

Service department at this location is a joke! Made an appointment on a Monday to have the car seen on Friday. Arrived Friday morning to be told I would have to leave it for a few days. This after being told it would be a few hours. So I made an appointment on Monday to drop it off and pick it up on Wednesday. So Wednesday arrived and NOTHING had been done! I had rented a vehicle for Monday through Wednesday! Was told I would have to leave it more days! Needless to say, I took my vehicle elsewhere! DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Everything about it is a giant joke!

Starting calling around 5 pm to hear status. Left numerous messages but no call back. Here it is 8 am on Saturday morning and still have no idea what is happening. Not a great experience AT ALL.

I understand that I purchased a used vehicle, but I am disappointed in the lack of attention to detail this vehicle received in being turned around for sale on your lot. I didn't expect it to be perfect, but it is a little concerning that after bringing my vehicle back to the dealership because of road noise & vibration while driving that a tire was replaced with no other explanation and afterwards I find out from Discount Tire there is a bald tire as well as an almost bald tire with severe uneven tread wear. Now maybe I am partially to blame for not looking the vehicle over better when I first looked at it & purchased it, but I allegedly had "Options" as a part of my purchase which were described to me as not optional because it's all a part of presenting the vehicle on the lot for sale.- including, but not limited to $1,750 "reconditioning" which was mentioned to me specifically covering tires at least (if necessary). Window tinting was also a part of the "Options" I paid for which was not complete when I drove the vehicle home. The window tinting issue was satisfactorily rectified along with other minor interior blemishes, even a couple I did not point out (which I do appreciate). However, after finding out 2 of the remaining 3 tires on the vehicle from initial purchase were nearly at dangerous standards to be driving and that I had to spend $285 to have them replaced when I have hardly driven my newly purchased vehicle does not leave me satisfied with this dealership.

It's almost as if a trade-in was accepted and all that was done was posted pictures online & put the price stickers in the window. With spending the amount of money cars cost, I would have expected better care and attention to detail in providing for the customers that purchase from your dealership.

This is my second review for this place. First time was because they sold me a car with no title and a warranty that doesn't fix anything. Now not having the vehicle 6 months I am having all kinds of issues with the transmission. My husband and I own a shop and I would never let a vehicle leave our place with issues like I'm having. Having problems with shifter and all codes come back to the transmission control module not matching vehicle. Tried over and over again to get fixed under warranty and I'm being told the warranty does not cover the shifting issue. When you put in reverse it sounds like the transmission is falling out. I will never buy another vehicle from any vandergriff locations nor will I order parts for any vehicles my customers bring in. I will go to any other dealership besides vandergriff. Beware people and watch what you buy from this place

My experience at Vandergriff in Arlington was amazing! Mo and the guys helped me find the perfect vehicle for me as well as gave me a great deal for my Tucson. I never once felt pressured into buying a car right at the moment nor did they give me a hard time while negotiating. The customer service was superb, and I highly recommend buying from this dealership. Mo even went as far as helping me set up my BlueLink and went out with me to my new vehicle so I felt comfortable with the setup and technology that I was not use to.

Had been shopping around for a used car for the past few weeks and experienced only pushy salesman and lackluster selection until I came here. From the moment I pulled up the service was and sales staff was the best I have ever experienced with car dealerships or really any other type of sales driven establishment. Laid back and easy to deal with in every aspect of the car buying process. Jeff, the salesman was beyond excellent and accommodating. Will be recommending this dealership and coming here for all my future car buying needs.

By far the worst dealership I have ever visited. You have sales people that are literally just standing outside shooting the breeze with one another as if they aren't here to work. Now keep in mind that it is 10:11 AM on a Saturday January 6, 2018. I have literally walked around this lot for almost 30 minutes. Not one sales person has said 1 and I do mean 1 single word to me. So I'mma politely stroll back to my car and go find a dealership that believes in selling vehicles. Only reason they got 1 star is to be able to post this. Avoid this place unprofessional as all get OUT. Funny part is I'm ready to buy today sale lost. Update 01/08/2018 10:48 AM I decided to go back and give these guys a try. They clearly have no visible parking as the rude car washing guy (Pablo lot manager) with glasses told me rudely to move my car. It's a disgrace for a business to be run like this.

I am one that will leave a car lot if the car sales person is aggressive and makes me uncomfortable. At Vandergriff Hyandai, Fernando made me feel welcomed and the process was super easy. I was treated with respect and courtesy and I even got hugs! I will recommend them to everyone and plan to use them for any future car purchases.

The service department was outstanding but what sets them apart was while I was there the way the whole staff not just the service department but everyone helped a elderly couple with an emergency they had with their car on the spot. And on top of that the way everyone pinched in to help elderly Gentleman of couple who was disabled. This was way past customer service this was just outstanding people doing the right thing and I am definitely going to keep going back. Hats off to everyone there.
