No surprise, vehicles are marked above fair purchase price. In the hopes that some idiot will come in and pay sticker price. It happens often enough. When we suggested that the cost to fix basic safety concerns be deducted from the purchase price, the manager countered with the sticker price. No attempt to account for the actual condition of the vehicle. He said he had put money into the vehicle which is not my concern...if they need to put money into a vehicle to make it functional that is something that occurs before and independently of my negotiations. I was so stunned when instead of actually making a counter offer he just quoted me sticker price and said he would probably have to just sell it at a loss at auction in a week or two we said 'Thanks anyway' and left. When the manager is acknowledging that he will have to sell the vehicle at a loss at auction, as opposed to a customer making a fair offer it was clear they were just awful. There are so many dealerships, so many cars, so many decent places to shop out there, it's not worth it to even waste your time here. Always remember, if a sales person puts you in a position you don't like, shake off the feeling that you're going to miss out on a deal. There are hundreds of deals every day...but car salesmen are trained to make every car seem like the one you can't let get away. We walked away from this one and I am glad we did.

I went in looking to upgrade my Elantra to newer version with less mileage. After speaking with Lou, he was able to get me into a 2016 Sonata for nearly the same cost of a 2017 Elantra. He was very patient with me during the negotiation process and helped get me to a price that I could live with. Overall, it was a long day but all worth it in the end!

I was in search for a vehicle knowing what price I wanted. Initially I called In and spoke with a sales man who couldn t get the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted and left it at that. A day later (while I was at other dealerships) someone from the same dealership reached back out to help me even further ! He not only got me a BETTER version of the vehicle but even at the price I wanted ! I must say if you visit here ask for Christian Vang ! He will go ABOVE & BEYOND !!

I took my car in to get the oil changed and tires rotated, AJ was really nice and even offered to take me to work so I wouldn't have to wait there, I told him I was off so I didn't mind hanging out in the lounge. He had the oil changed, tires rotated and even washed and vacuumed in no time at all!

Top of the line salesman and he was never pushy or annoying. He was a wealth of knowledge of the car product and his suggestions were well taken. Furthermore, he closed us out and had a deal for us in less than 90 MINUTES!!!!!!! He is simply the best!

Lou was our sale person. He was wonderful and great to speak to. He took his time showing several vehicles. Also giving us several options. It was a outstanding experience, and he went out his way to make us feel like we were his only customers at our appointed time.
Thomas was our financial guy. He was friendly and funny. He broke everything down for new car buyers to understand the financial terms of our agreement.

I am not a fan of the dealership. I would not even recommend the dealership to my worst enemy. I was highly upset that my mother-in-love was sold a car that was not serviced or properly inspected before leaving the lot. She had to use a rental for two weeks and fight to havr the car serviced at no cost, at least she was in her 30 days. They asked for the rental to be filled and return at its proper condition, but when we recieved the original car back it was dusty and not filled, I guess it was serviced to the best of their abilities. Still not satisfied.

It was the fastest and easiest car buying experience I have ever had. I never left my house and the approval was fast and easy. I would recommend anybody looking for a car go see Manny and Hector.

Just purchased a preowned Mazda 6 at Vandergriff Hyundai. I sent an email on Sunday to arrange an appointment for a test drive on Monday. They were very, very attentive! Kirby did a great job taking us through the sales process once we made our decision. Was a little disappointed the service team missed several items getting the car prepped for us to take home. They have agreed to make the necessary repairs though so I would definitely recommend this dealership!

I had issues with my car so I took it and went for only one issue. They contacted me about 2 days later and actually informed me about the other issues I had with my car. Thanks to them I was able to get certain issues fixed that day and pick it up within an hour. They gave me a rental with no charge and where so nice and friendly. They also had great communication and updated me on my car day by day! They didn t take long either. They serviced my car within a good time frame and I feel as if I m driving a new car! I would definitely recommend this dealership. Possibly might be coming back in a few months to get a new car!!

My entire experience with this dealership was outstanding!!!. The entire staff was extremely polite and very professional. My sales person was Luis Lopez. The guy is class A. He made the PIA process of looking for another vehicle very pleasant, answered all my questions and did everything possible to make the experience a breeze. My experience was pretty bad from the beginning. I had 1 rep helping me out and they swapped him for another rep because they said i would feel more comfortable with a spanish speaking rep. I am fluent in english to begin with. Spanish isn t my first language. Plus the girl that was helping me didn t know much about the 2 cars she showed me and her spanish was decent. I told them I already had financing and was paying part in cash too, but they kept going back and foward for a good hour or so. The car they were selling me they were already taking it to some auctions from what they told me before i got there and they did bring it back for me. When I rejected the $400 window tint the girl was trying to sell me on, along with the oil change and recondition paint which the top roof wasnt in the greatest shape all for $3000 something dollars she got really upset and acted unprofessional.

She still had the nerve to call me the next day to do her follow up. I rather go next door to the Honda dealer where they really do know how to treat customers.

Took my car in on a Monday 7/31 for a state inspection and told services advisor to contact me in case there was something to be done on car car was in services for seven days straight never received a call about the status of my car when I would call I was told they will call me back never heard from them finally on Monday 8/7 decided to stop by and check on my car since they weren't responding to my calls came to find out that day my car was sitting there all that time and nothing was done! Thank you very much for wasting my time also for leaving me carless for days. Service advisor excuse was I was on vacation like if that matter. I definitely will not be coming back it doesn't matter if I have to drive far to another dealership

Our experience with Vandergriff was so pleasant! I had called to ask about a particular Sonata that I was interested in, and Hector had given us all the information we needed up front. We literally just came in and made sure that the vehicle was exactly what we wanted and then next thing we know we are signing up! Quickest purchase we've ever made. Definitely one of the easiest. Thank you so much Hector, and the Vandergriff staff. You guys are awesome!

I came to DFW from Oklahoma to see a specific car ...

I came to DFW from Oklahoma to see a specific car at another dealership. On my way there, they sold it. So, I went to Vandergriff Hyundai because they had a similar car. Victor was a nice sales person. Easy to work with. They initially told me the price was higher than the listed price displayed online, but they came back down once I started to walk out. After being approved for a loan, I went to speak with the finance manager. I wanted a warranty, since we want to keep this vehicle for a while. Boy, I didn't know how expensive warranties can be! It was clear we couldn't get the car and the warranty, so I decided to not buy the car. We couldn't afford the payment with the expensive warranty. Before I could leave, the manager came over and offered a FREE warranty! Wow, that was unexpected.
Thanks to Vandergriff and that manager for not letting me walk away without making that sale. Not only did I get a car at lower than it's actual value by walking away from the table the first time, but I got a free warranty by walking away from the financing room! I wonder if they'll do this for everyone?

Please people stay away from these dealership/services center, poor management, unprofessional staff, bad customer service above all, they over charge you for there product and service. My friend s and i had a terrible experience with them. They show no sense of remorse even after the whole thing. All they care about is money.

The deal only took a few hours including My test drive. Kenny was great as well getting the car set up and Darius made the deal happen, saved me a ton of money! Do not buy or get your vehicle serviced at Vandergriff Hyundai in Arlington. Subpar vehicles, mediocre service, extremely long service times and th service manager Leylan Tucker is a bold face liar and extremely rude. I bought my Hyundai Santa Fe from Vandergriff Hyundai in Nov 2017 in less than (May 2018) 6 months my engine went completely out. I was stranded on the highway with an infant i called my insurance and had the car towed to them. I missed days of work because they didnt have any loaners. It took weeks for anyone to tell me what was going on with my car. I was told that the engine had been recalled after waiting more weeks literally over a month at this point i was told that my car no longer qualified for the recall and they would go through my warranty that i purchased there. Literally another month went by the only contact i recieved is when i called them. I was informed that they didnt have any engines and had to ship one from overseas. During this time i recieved numerous high mileage loaners which i had to inconveniently return at 1 point they gave me an accent mind you i have an SUV which i need for the space to work. Every time i went to get a new loaner the receptionist were extremely rude and less than helpful like i was inconviencing them. When i finally got my car back in July i had it for about a week qhen the check engine light came on. Really i just waited 3 months for a new motor... i sent the car back also i had an issue with my wheel making a funny noise which I had to constantly remind them of because apparently that wasnt an important enough issue for them to address. I was running pretty hot and requested to speak to a manager. I explained the situation and how being without my car made it impossible for me to go to a funeral in Louisiana because of the mileage restrictions on the loaners and how i wasnt able to get intouch with my service guy Keith. He lied to me and told me Keith was also at a funeral when i went in for one of my numerous loaner changes i saw Keith and apologized to him for his loss and he didnt know what i was talking about he said he went to a family reunion. Wow how manipulative to lie to me. I mentioned the tire issue and he tells me hes going to replace all 4 of my tires. Fast forward its now September i just came back from vacation and im like hey is my car ready and i was informed they needed more time. On sept 25 10 days later he says ok your car is ready im like hey i need a day im at work i cant leave i call him and ask about the car he says im good to go i ask about the tires and he says he has no idea what im talking about..... Really i told him what the guy said she says he'll get back to me. Of course no one calls i have to call them. Then he gets the service manager on the line and he says he doesnt remember and then implies that i refused to retun the loaner. He states we just want our car back. The irony!!! I request the general manager to call me i will update any changes. Im also reporting to BBB. This is not how you treat customers. Dont end up like me dont buy here or service here

I think I am being generous by giving them one star. Today, I went in to purchase a vehicle with my husband and we had every intention of purchasing a vehicle, because we sold our other one. When we got there we began working with Eric and then he stated that he had another client coming in so Saul would be helping us. This was completely fine with me, and Saul helped us, but as soon as we began looking at the vehicle he also told us that he would not be able to assist us, because another client was coming in. We were then handed off to Victor who assisted us and we were able to test drive the car.
I did not appreciate being passed around and it really tainted the experience for me. I understand that you might have another customer, however, we should have been given priority. The culture around the car buying experience Vandergriff Hyundai needs Tom be evaluated.
My husband and I happily walked away and purchased the same vehicle somewhere else!

This was my second car buying experience at Vandergriff Hyundai with Lou M and it was awesome! Car buying is a stressful experience and I am always worried I'm going to encounter the extra pressure to buy from my salesman. However, Lou M did not pressure me into buying. He is professional, helpful, and friendly. He was extremely helpful through the entire process from the test drive, to explaining all of the features of my Hyundai Elantra, to providing snacks and drinks while I was waiting. I will definitely be coming back to Vandergriff Hyundai and Lou M when it is time for me to purchase a new car. In the mean time, I will recommend Lou M and Vandergriff Hyundai to all of my family and friends.

Vandergriff advertised a vehicle I wanted for a dirt cheap price, which I drove three and half hours to test drive. When I arrived I was told that it was a wholesale vehicle and the young salesman said he really didn t know what that meant. After we sent him to find out what that meant, he said it was on the lot, but it hadn t been looked at by the mechanics yet or check for emissions. It was on the lot for at least a week before we drove in. How long does it take for your mechanics to check over a vehicle!? I feel like I was reeled in, why advertise something you won t even sale? Furthermore we test drove a vehicle that had been checked over by their mechanics. It had a rats nest on the engine and an oil leak, noticed immediately by my husband with a flashlight. Mechanics didn t catch that? The salesman was cocky, yet didn t know his inventory or many details about the vehicle that we did drive. Needless to say, I will not be back. I hope this review helps anyone shopping from a distance.
