Never thought a car could change so much. Recently purchase a 2020WRX. Every time I slide in to the driver seat i can t help but smile. Whether I m on a back road or cruising on the interstate the car handles like a dream. With more power then anyone really needs, and style/comfort to match I can see myself driving this for a long time.
Thank you Frankie! Your excellent customer service and first hand driving experience helped find the right fit, for both my budget and needs.

We had a great experience with Jim G. and the staff at Twin City Subaru - we'd found the car we bought on their website, no fuss no muss, and Jim explained all about the car, the financing options, etc. etc. A week later we drove our new Outback away with new snow tires and at least a notion of all the bells and whistles of the new Subys, due to Jim's patient tutoring. And we danced a jig so that Twin City would send even more $ to the Vermont Food Bank, which we heartily endorse!

Everything We Expected and More

We did an enormous amount of research before deciding that the Subaru Outback was on our short list. We checked out a RAV 4, a CRV and a Subaru Outback from a different dealership in Vermont. Our son went the extra distance from home and purchased his Subaru from Twin City and recommended them highly. We decided to schedule a test drive at Twin City and called and talked to Jim Glassford. Jim took care of everything. We dealt with him via phone calls, email and in person and received the same great attention to detail from start to finish. We have never had such a positive experience buying a car before! Both Jim and Desmond in finance were awesome; we felt like they were working for US, not the dealership.
Oh, and the car is FANTASTIC!

When looking for a Subaru Crosstrek very recently, I contacted several dealerships in Vermont. Twin City Subaru (contact was Paul W) was only one of two dealerships who were willing to provide the exact vehicle I was looking for. Crosstreks are popular and they are hard to find in colors other than orange and white. Paul was very responsive and helpful. I felt no pressure and he made the sale very easy. After I bought the car, I emailed him with some questions about the car. Paul responded quickly and with patience. I highly recommend Paul and Twin City Subaru sales. I will wait to see if the Service and Parts Depts are as good.

Picked up a new Outback Monday. Jim and the rest of the team were ready for us when we arrived and made sure we had a great experience. Jim spent lots of time with us going over features of the new car and making sure we understood all the tech stuff - always a challenge. He did all this standing in the rain they aren't able to get in the cars with customers during the COVID pandemic.
We've purchased several cars from the 802cars group of dealerships and always had a great service. We'll be back again.

I loved my experience here! I knew I wanted a Crosstrek even before I drove one though I was not expecting to have to look into getting a new car so soon but life happens. Tony was amazing in working with and helping me make the final decision on exactly what I wanted. It was a really stressful process for me to do alone, I don't think I would ve ended up with my beautiful Crosstrek without him. He was very knowledgeable and more than happy to walk through everything with me until I was comfortable in my knowledge base to move forward. Definitely worth traveling a lot further than I was expecting. Upon finalizing everything, I didnt feel rushed and all my questions were answered honestly and readily by everyone involved. I ll tell you what, I did not have that kind of service when I purchased my first vehicle. I really appreciated that. The bar is set pretty high now. Highly recommend!

We went to Twin City (without an appointment!) just to look at new Outbacks. Eric Lane met us and helped us find the perfect vehicle for our needs. No pressure, answered all our questions, was very patient and professional and although we hadn't really planned on it, we came home with a new car that day! Great friendly service made it a pleasure to do business with them.

Being frustrated with my prior dealership, I stopped in at Twin City Subaru and was introduced to Paul Walsh. I told Paul what I was looking for; he asked a few additional questions and brought a vehicle around for me to try out. He thoroughly went through the vehicle and its attributes and answered any questions I had (actually, he answered my questions before I asked them). I fell in love with the Subaru Forester. I was given an indication of what the lease payment would be and said I would have to think about it. I returned the next day and we sat down and went over the finer points and were able to come in with a lease payment that was acceptable for the vehicle I originally wanted - the 2021 Subaru Forester. I was most impressed with Paul's salesmanship and patience. He listened to what my needs and requirements were and came through. I was also impressed with Bryan and Matt throughout the process of leasing a vehicle and their professionalism. Thank you. If I could hand out more stars, I would.

Eric Lane, in sales was great to work with for test driving, trade in and purchase. He is a personable guy and a straightforward salesman: helpful and not high-pressure. Eric is a down to earth guy and I actually enjoyed spending the day chatting cars. He asked lots of good questions to find a good match for me. The whole process was fun and easy. Eric was also helpful in arranging the undercoating service on my new purchase and walking me thru all the bells and whistles with the electronics in the car.

Desmond in the biz office was also very kind, patient, and helpful explaining some of the add-on options during my purchase.

The dealership building is an easy place to relax and have your family along, including puppy. (pop corn and drinks to occupy the kids). Thanks! I would definitely refer friends to Eric and Twin City Subaru.

Oh...and i love my new Impreza Hatchback!

My husband and I are very pleased with our experience at Twin City Subaru with Jim! The last Subaru we bought was from St. J Subaru and it was a horrible experience! Jim at Twin City Subaru was a breath of fresh air from our last car buying experience! He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and was a pleasure to speak and work with. Jim worked very hard to make sure we got the perfect car for a great price.

It's not just Jim that makes Twin City Subaru amazing, the whole team is great! The young man that works the front desk is so nice and customer oriented, as soon as you walk in you are greeted with a warm and amazing smile! The guys in the back offices that do the paperwork and financing side are also great to work with. They are straight to the point, and do a amazing job at explaining everything.
The service team is also great, my AC died when it was 90 degrees all week and they put me in a complimentary loaner car and made sure I was taken care of because I use my car so much for work!

After buying our new Forester at Twin City Subaru we will be using them for all of our car buying needs. We will only buy Subaru's and we drive A LOT so we buy new cars often, having a dealership that we trust is so valuable.

If you're in the Market for a Subaru definitely go and see Jim at Twin City Subaru, you'll definitely drive off the lot with a smile on you're face!

Joe was upfront about what I was paying for the vehicle and what he was offering for mine. He did not try to hide it in the numbers like some salesmen do. Even their initial offer for my trade-in was reasonable; most dealerships try to really low ball trade-ins.

I have purchased a vehicle at Twin City Subaru in the past, and I went back to investigate lease end options. Jeff Moser met us in the lot, introduced himself, and helped my wife and I look at and test drive a 2014 Subaru Forester. He was thorough in his explanations of new features and improvements over past models, and his manner is extremely relaxed, friendly, and un-assuming. He was responsive to our financing requests, and he and the sales manager worked to help us come to an affordable and agreeable payment. I feel that he has gone above and beyond my expectations for customer service in sales and follow through. I have had three years of experience with the service department at Twin City,and I find them to be excellent in both quality of work and courtesy with customers. I have had a very enjoyable experience with the sales and service team at Twin City Subaru.

Six or seven years ago we bought a new Subaru Forester from Burlington Subaru (Vermont), and were very unhappy with the attitude of the people who headed up the service dept., as well as the salesman we talked to when we decided to buy a new Subaru in 2010. That is when we decided to try Twin City. Our daughter had bought a Subaru Forester from them the previous year, and raved about the great sales people and service people there, so we decided to give it a try. I called to set up an appt. and talked to Jim Glassford, over the phone. Jim made himself available to accommodate our busy schedule. When my husband and I met Jim a few days later we were impressed by the amount of knowledge Jim had, regarding the Subaru Forester, which is the specific car we wanted to purchase. Jim was straightforward, and articulate, and willing and able to meet our needs for financing. After meeting and dealing with Jim, we knew we would go back to him and Twin City for our next Forester. We recently decided it was time to trade our 2010 Forester in for the 2014 (due to the high number of miles we put on our cars each year). Once again we were able to negotiate a good price through Jim Glassford. We explained what we wanted, what our budget limitations were (we're retired), and what we hoped to get for a car. Jim more than met our needs, and got us exactly the car we wanted. We are so happy with the model he suggested! We know that we will go back to Jim, in a few years, when it is time for another trade. It is refreshing to sit down with someone who is genuinely family oriented, and who is as interested in hearing about our family, as we are in hearing about his. When we negotiate with Jim, he makes us feel like valued customers by never rushing us, and answering all of our questions thoroughly. We highly recommend Jim to anyone looking for either a new or used Subaru.

This was literally the most painful and exhausting...

This was literally the most painful and exhausting experience I have ever had at a car dealership. And just to be clear this dealership should receive 0 stars but google has a minimum of one. I purchased a Subaru Impreza from this dealership. After about 1000 miles I started having g issues with it. I brought it in to be looked at and after a lengthy wait they determined none of the work would be covered under the warranty leaving me with the 3000+ dollar bill. I begged and pleaded my case but no one would listen to a thing I had to say. Until I had to call the owner for the service department to listen to me. Eventually the service department ended up doing the work or so I thought... After about a month driving down the interstate my dashboard light up like a Christmas tree and my lights started doing all sorts if crazy things. I brought it in for the second time to only have the service department try and find a way out of the warranty work. This literally continued for 8 more months. I spent countless time and effort on a vehicle that I had just pruchased brand new to get fixed. Corporate had to get involved and eventually corporate told me to take my car to a different dealership. The new dealership not only fixed all my issues under warranty... But they did it with a smile and could not believe the run-around I was given at twin City Subaru. So please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY. you will save so much time and heartache.

In summary... Just do yourself a favor and find a different dealership. You won't regret it!

Per the terrible reply below I felt it was necessary to point out a few things.... The wiring was done unprofessionally the first time by me... What's amazing to me is this same exact setup lasted 40000 miles in my previous car that I traded in to this wonderful dealership (Sarcasm completely intended). Now here's the kicker. I was told by the same service department the day I purchased the vehicle I could do the "wiring" (two cables to the battery.... Just if you were to add just about any aftermarket parts IE: HID headlights...) When my car started having issues the dealership was already blaming the wiring BEFORE it was even pulled into the shop.... My second issue with my vehicle happened after they were professionally installed... And once again before the car was even pulled into the shop the "wiring" was blamed. And continued to have not only electrical issues but mechanical as well. Hence the continued 8 months of issues. Simply put this dealership never took the time to actually listen to me until I called the owner. Only then did I receive half hearted service. Oh btw my new vehicle that I wired myself........ Works just fine.... My vehicle before the Subaru worked just fine.

In summary, I was lied to in order to secure a sale. I was then given a hefty bill due to this lie. I had to call the owner in order to get some sort of "resolution". To continuously have more problems for months down the road... And when it's all said and done the dealership still will not admit to any of it's faults. If you buy here.... Good luck to you.

I brought my Subaru to Twin City Subaru due to a recall on my airbag that I needed fixed. They were the closest Subaru dealer to me. After picking my car up I noticed a large crack in my passenger side speaker cover. I didn t notice until the next day. I called them and was told to come in. I went in and pictures were taken I was told I d be called the next day after the guy spoke with his manager. I never heard back. I gave it two days. I was told once again that they d have the manager call me. I waited a few more days, nothing. I called back not once but twice was put on hold just for the phone to be disconnected. I ve called the manager directly and left a detailed message with my name and number...still nothing. I ve given up at this point and I do not plan to ever bring my car back there. I spend a good amount of monthly on my car and I refuse to let more things get broken on my car with no explanations or plan to fix it for me.

I just bought a new Forester from Joe Sweeney. I don't really like cars that much and hate bare knuckle high pressure salesmanship. Sweeney seemed to get on my wavelength right away providing information I valued (such as the absence of timing belts on Forester) He didn't try to sell extras or options, We took almost 2 months making up our minds during which Joe kept in touch now and then without the manic phone calls from other dealers we shopped. i definitely recommend this guy.

I was in the market for a new car and was not sure which dealership I wanted to go to. Location wise Twin City was convenient so I stopped in and started looking at the WRX that was soon to be mine. Anthony came out and we started up a conversation. Most people don't expect a lot of the authentic elements Anthony and the dealership has when buying a car. That is why his service and attention to who you are as a person really makes the car buying experience seem like you are talking to a friend, who wants to help you. Most people find the car buying experience stressful even after buying the car. Anthony made it almost therapeutic and put your mind at ease about the financial decision you were making. Being only 21 I was glad to have a young salesperson like Anthony help me through the process. I'm a happy and excited guy with a new WRX all thanks to Antony and the Twin City Subaru team!

I am very happy with the entire team they have going there. Great sales people and great management. This is hard to find these days a car dealership.

Bought a car from them which has needed an excessive amount of repairs since, been lied to/ "told wrong information" over the phone about my car, and they chose to fix something else other than what I brought the car to them for in the first place, causing a second visit to fix what the first visit should have. Edit: turns out once again they did not fix the problem I have spent almost $2,000 trying to fix. Took three visits and the actual part that needed to be replaced only would have cost me $100. Absolute bull and I tell everyone I know to never go there beware y'all, they only want your money

Let s be real. Car shopping is often not fun. Searching for wheels gets bogged down in the details about what you want, what you can afford, and what is actually available. At least, it was for me. After a lot of window shopping and online browsing of Vermont dealers, I was lucky to come to Twin City Subaru late one afternoon and be greeted by Frankie. He helped me through the process and land right where I needed to. If you know what you want, Frankie will get you there. If you don t, he ll guide you through all options until you find something that fits just right. He put in the work and was straight with me. I appreciated that. Twin City is staffed by good folks. I couldn t be happier with the Crosstrek I got there.

First new car ever!!!

One word: painless. I thought buying my new first car would be sheer hell and because of Dan Barone, it turned into an extremely pleasant experience. His knowledge, lovely personality and witty charm made buying my first new car a wonderful experience instead of doom and gloom. He helped me choose the right car, got the best price for my trade in and worked tirelessly (while staying late) to get me the price I was looking for. I'm extremely happy I chose to work w/ him and won't look for another salesman ever again. He's my go-to guy for life :)

He asked me several questions, listened to my goals & needs and then started giving me the best options for what I was looking for. The process was made very simple and very comfortable by Joe. I have used this dealership before for service and found them to be extremely honest. When I needed a car I immediately thought of them and was not disappointed in the service and followup that occurred when negotiated a price and a loan. This dealership was very easy to work with and very open without being pushy. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for either a new or used vehicle.

y wife and I went to Twin City Subaru just looking. She was due for a new car and she wanted to try out a couple of Subies. Tony Fletcher approached us in the lot and offered to assist. I let him know we were just looking and I asked for Jeff Moser as I had worked with him a couple of years ago in purchasing my Outback. Tony indicated Jeff was working with another customer and he'd be glad to help unless I wanted to wait for Jeff. Thinking we were only looking, we chose not to wait.

We then took a test drive with Tony - 2014 Forester. Sweet car. My wife and I both really liked the car. Jeff was not pushy, very informative and actually fun to work with. He knew we were only looking but offered to price it and see how good of a deal they could offer. After a bit of haggling a price was agreed upon and we bought it on the spot. No pressure for the extras even though they made sure they were all offered.

We are now a two Subie family! Gotta love it!

First class buying experience

The actual negotiation was done on the telephone, the next day we went to the dealership everything was very professional and smooth , since I had not bought a new car in 13 years I see that the experience has really changed , because of the internet pricing has become much more open and easier to deal with. With that being said the relationship is much less adversarial and actually you are just being helped thru the paperwork and introduction to the features of the car.

So far everything went well, now over the next 13 years hopefully the relationship with service will also be satisfactory.

I have worked with Twin City Subaru since 2007 when I started bringing my Impreza to the service department. I continue to be pleased with their service, knowledge and friendliness. When it was time to lease a new vehicle I sat down with Jim Glassford. He is professional, knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly and helpful and always available to answer any questions or concerns. I had inquired at two other dealerships but Jim came up with the best price, the best deal possible to trade my Impreza for a 2010 Forester. I was very happy with my new vehicle, the lease experience and I continued to bring it to Twin City Subaru for service even though I moved out of the area. In October 2012 I was ready to trade again. Just before this, my Forester had gone over the 36,000 mile warranty and had a $500.00 service bill but Jim and the service department worked to get it covered under the warranty and I didn't pay a dime. I was thrilled. I was ready to downsize and try the newly remodeled 2013 Impreza. Once again I inquired at two other dealerships but Jim at Twin City Subaru came in with the best deal possible. I was happy with the deal but not so happy with the Impreza. So, only eight (8) months into my 36 month lease, in July 2013, I contacted Jim and told him of my unhappiness with the Impreza. Jim and the entire dealership worked very hard to get me out of my lease and into a brand new 2014 Forester. I didn't think they could do it without it costing me a lot but they did and I am forever grateful. There are not adequate words to state my appreciation and satisfaction with Jim Glassford, Twin City Subaru and their service department. They always go above and way beyond with their customer service. Here's another example: by the end of next month, October 2013, I'll be ready to bring my Forester in for it's 1st 3000 mile maintenance service. I called to inquire what a set of snow tires cost. I had seen a 10% off snow tire coupon on the Twin City website but it expired 10.01.13. When I called, I was told they would honor the coupon even if I came in after the expiration. Need I say more? Twin City Subaru ROCKS! Jim ROCKS! And the service department ROCKS! I am a customer forever.

I just made my second purchase from Dylan Otis at Twin city Subaru. The first was a Subaru Impreza and now I ve upgraded to an Outback. The first time I dealt with Dylan it was obvious I wasn t talking to the average car salesman. I m very wary of dealerships due to misrepresentation and poor service over the years. He is very knowledgeable about the product and was not pushy whatsoever. Any questions I had were well answered before and after the purchase. He was just as concerned about me having the right vehicle and features as I was. He even touched base here and there over the past few years just to see how things were going as well as to wish me a Happy Birthday or wish me well on a holiday. I got the perfect car for me at the time and because of the excellent service, follow up, and personality... I just got my new Outback from him. By the way, it is a fantastic vehicle! He s an awesome guy and takes the time to get to know you as well. I ve referred other people there who ve purchased and are just as happy. I drive over 2 hours from home away from local dealers, because they re just that good. Thanks again, Dylan! Shout out to the sales manager Desmond as well. They ve got a great team there.

I just picked my 2017 Impreza up from Twin City be...

I just picked my 2017 Impreza up from Twin City because my heated seats aren't working. I get in it and drive down the road before I notice that someone took a screwdriver to pry the switch out of the console. There is now damage to the console in at least three different spots (I had to go back to work and didn't have time to look closely) and scratches just below it, none of which were there when I dropped it off at 7:20 this morning. I have no problem taking responsibility for damage that I have caused to my own vehicle, but I am in no way responsible for this. My car is a YEAR old and there is NO reason that their service department couldn't take the switch out of my car without doing damage. If I had wanted to buy a used car with previous damage from someone else I would have, but I figured buying new I wouldn't have that problem and hoped that I could trust a Subaru dealership to provide satisfactory service, at the least. The car is a lease and I will now be held accountable for damage that their technicians did to my car. Nobody bothered to mention this to me when I picked up the car, but I understand that the staff at the service desk likely had no idea so I am not going to put the blame on them. I work hard for the things that I have and take pride in doing so...unfortunately their service technicians cannot respect that.

My daughter and I bought a used car from Twin City Subaru a few days ago. Everyone was super helpful. Dylan Otis, sales guy extraordinaire, stayed late Friday night to get the deal done. Andrew from the service department stayed late to put winter tires on for us. When I came back the following Monday afternoon to get our free detailing and upgraded headlights, the guy in the service applied a $25 coupon without us even having to ask. Great service all around!!

I want to start by saying I did research for seven months before buying a car at Twin City Subaru. I Searched Maine, NH and Vermont and found their reviews to be great and now I know why. I had emailed to get a quote on a Subaru Outback that had just come in and had no photos of it online. I was contacted right away and I was even sent a little video clip on YouTube from Alex Nicholson next to the car I was very interested in. My husband and I made an appointment to see them two hours away and I'm glad we did. We loved it. While we were there our daughter locked us out of our car. They were more than happy to help us break into the car with their kit, that made my day. We ended up getting the car at a great price with the help of Desmond Culcleasure. He was great and super friendly as well. I really couldn't have asked for a better team of sales associates. They even called a week later to make sure we were happy and all set. They will see us again for sure when we need another vehicle.

I had a really really good experience buying my FIRST EVER new car with Twin City Subaru. All of the staff with whom I dealt were kind and enthusiastic and reassuring. Eric immediately made me feel comfortable and walked me through everything I wanted to know. He was willing to let me test drive any car I wanted and I never felt rushed. He was never condescending or overbearing when explaining things to me and he knew everything about everything--so many different features--he was able to answer every question I could think of. And even brought up and answered questions that I didn't think of, but were important for me to know.
Eric is the main reason I'm so happy with the car I chose--I didn't know what I wanted when I walked in, but he helped me think through my priorities and all of my options to find the perfect fit. And when I finally got my car Eric took the time to show me every bell and whistle--of which there are many, I was overwhelmed (I was stepping out of a 2006 into a 2018 and still thought that my 6-disc changer was fancy).
Even while talking about prices and financing I always felt comfortable, which completely surpassed my expectations--I was so worried about feeling awkward and pressured.
Desmond really made me feel completely comfortable also, going through the credit application and other financial paperwork. He was very personable and made sure I understood everything without making me feel talked-down-to.

I had been concerned when, afterward, for a three-- week period in which I called and emailed for assistance with the former lease and a specialty tire question, I received no response from any department. I Love Twin City Subaru! I have never had a bad experience working with anyone at Twin City and I always leave with a HUGE smile on my face! After 7 years of leasing vehicles, from Dan Barone, a past sales consultant, I was introduced to Frankie Candido! Who was just as awesome to work with! Frankie contacted me FIRST to see if I was interested in talking with him to figure out my next options with Subaru as my lease was ending. I really liked that he reached out to me first and was easy to talk to and work with. This visit put me in my dream vehicle and I finally have the white forester SUV I've been waiting for!! AND through out my visit I was able to donate to the Vermont Food Shelf, which made this experience even more special! I purchased a Subaru Limited XT on Saturday, November 14th, 2020. It was one of the only 2020 models left on the lot. Wesley Faulkner was my salesman. He was extremely patient as I went through the process of trying that 2020 model, and a few 2021 models in different trim levels and colors. After repeated test drives between the XT turbo engine and the regular 2.5 four, I decided that the turbo was quieter, smoother and that the additional power was worth the money. Desmond the sales manager generously knocked off a couple thousand from the sticker price and threw in the protection process that protects the paint, undercarriage and upholstery. From their expert care I went into Matt s office where we worked out a reasonable monthly payment at 0% financing, and a few extended warranties. I have nothing but good things to say about the sales department at Twin City Subaru. I hope to drive this Subaru as long as my 2006 Subaru, almost 273,000 miles. Best New Car Purchase Experience EVER!

After my beloved Honda CRV got totaled, I became interested in the Subaru Forester. After having a disappointing/frustrating experience at our local Subaru dealer in MA, my husband then located the car that I was looking for at a dealer in Vermont. Jeff Moser promptly answered our email inquiry and called us on the phone and quickly worked us up a very fair deal. He was responsive and helpful and direct and a true pleasure to work with. Our only glitch was that we should've paid with a certified check to insure immediate processing of the title (rather than the easier process of bringing a personal check). However, even with this out-of-state-glitch, Jeff made sure the paperwork got expressed to us in time for me to meet the 7 day MA deadline for registering my car. It should be noted that he also fast tracked some extra accessories that I wanted added to my car for purchase and it was ready, as promised, with all my personalized bells and whistles!!
Everyone at Twin City Subaru was very friendly and welcoming. For someone who usually HATES going to any car dealer because of the "circling vulture" feeling, I was VERY appreciative of this painless and enjoyable experience! Oh, and they were wonderful allowing our lab, who joined us for the ride, to rest in the AC building during our transaction. In summary: An A+ car buying experience.and I HIGHLY recommend Jeff Moser!
