I had an emergency due to there being a piece of metal that was stuck in my tire. I signed in and actually had two associates that tried to help me, they chose between the two and had my problem solved very quickly. Once they resolved the issue they were courteous to walk me to the counter to make sure everything was settled and cleared out and had my car ready and running for me to leave.

I bought a Corvette stingray 2019 in tropical Chevrolet dealer and I m so happy. 100% satisfied . Service department is Amazing , Maria, Tyson and Arthuro are very nice and helpful also all team staff from the entrance till the exit. Very nice waiting room. They take care from all details in car and make you feel like at home. Highly recommend .

The sales and the finance agent that helped me with my vehicle purchase two years ago were great (Harris and Angel). My car was a total loss recently and I needed specific paperwork from the dealership to submit to the GAP insurance. I tried for over two weeks to get in touch with their finance department by phone. No one ever answered, always went to voicemail. I left several voicemails, asked for the manager, left the manager voicemails, and no one ever returned my calls. Long story short, they wanted me to drive all the way to their dealership to collect the documents so that they can try to sell me a car. What type of ethics is that?! I'm really dissponted with their recent customer service. I don't think I will be purchasing my next vehicle with Tropical Chevy.

For some reason I always have issues with this dealer when it comes to service. I recently went for 30,000 miles service and paid over $700.00 to see my car wasn't even given a courtesy wash and the windshield fluid was completely empty. I'm just so over with this dealership. Seriously what are you people really doing with my car after waiting over 3 hours with an appointment..........

If I could give a 0 star I would. I purchased a used vehicle exactly 2 months ago and all I have had is problem after problem with the vehicle I purchased and with the transaction...Can't believe I have not even received my title as they forgot about my deal. Oh also car was advertised as excellent...guess what I had to jump start it driving home and got the Check engine light and have oil leaks. The car needs about $2000 of repairs. They promised me they would help giving me some money back to help with the repair but guess what nobody is getting back with me...the person in charge of this decision is always in meetings ... wow!!!

I m very pleased with everyone (sales, management and finance) at the dealership. I went to two other dealerships before I found the car I wanted. SCAM ALERT!
YO-YO FINANCING. They let you drive "your new car" home to call you 20 days later and tell you that the bank didn't approve your car loan. After fighting with these people for 2 months, I finally returned their car hoping I will get my previous car in the same exact conditions it was, but for my surprise the car is all scratched and has paint spots everywhere. Bring your business somewhere--don't trust them.
That's all I can say about these scammers!

Purchased a used Chevrolet volt from tropical Chevrolet last week and can not be happier with the vehicle and dealership thus far. Davie & Robeson took great care of my needs which was especially needed due to being almost 300 miles away from Miami They made sure everything was taken care of before I got there so I didn't have to wait any longer than necessary. The communication was outstanding and the managers were able to negotiate a good deal for me that I was extremely happy with. I was searching for this vehicle with the options that I wanted nationwide and tropical Chevrolet by far put me at ease with the constant reassuring communication. Typical bait and switch dealership. Promises you things on a $70k car, even putting it into their own financial agreement contract, only to turn around and tell you to your face(Danny the General Manager) "We lied to you" and "sue us then".

I had a very pleasant car buying experience would highly recommend for first time buyers

I put my life, and the life of my family in danger buying a vehicle at this dealership. I was sold a car that had severe tread separation on all four tires. I had the vehicle at highway speeds, had my kids in the car, and drove over 70 miles before I noticed the tires. I was told by management that there was nothing they could do because the sale was as is . As-is is a mechanical term, there is no As-is when it comes to safety issues. To top it all off, I came out of the deal with them owing me a decent amount of money back for my trade, and it has been 6 days, 24 phone calls, and now sitting in the showroom for an hour and a half, and still no check. Horrible service and horrible customer relations. Would never do business here again or recommend this dealership to anyone.

Arrived here at 2pm. Did not leave until about 6pm. Originally came to meet with Davie and ended up getting pushed to two other people with the final people Chevy. Customer service was amazing until it just showed they were only making numbers for their benefit. Already came with an auto loan through my bank but they tried everything in their power to get me to finance through them. Shuffled from one car, which being a 2018 Cruze Arctic Blue, saying the internet pricing was wrong then to another car, 2017 Cruze Red, giving me the internet price for that one. All in end I was there for about 4 hours with no outcome ended up going to Braman Hyundai where I got a car in less than 2 hours of being there. Soon as I walked in this guy named Wesley, who originally worked at Tropical once upon a time, he showed me a car right away and started the paperwork no questions asked. If I could give no stars to this place I would ve.

Ruddy & Jose was friendly, professional and treated me with the most respect. They both made me feel very comfortable through the whole process of me buying a car. Thanks guys for a very good experience. Will certainly recommend to others.

The buying process was seemless. Servicing is a completely different subject. I had an appt at 3:30PM, drove about 8 miles just for them to tell me they were flooded with vehicles. This is not the first or second time, this is my third scheduled maintenance and by far the last. They treat you like nothing, service takes no less than 2 hours and to top it off, they seam to care less for your time. Dissapointed in the service department, time is money for some folks and to tell the truth it's better off paying for an oil change than to waste your entire saturday on terrible customer service.

This is the worse car dealer ever the people in general are nasty and they lied on line saying they had a car available which I spoke to Andrinana saying yes the car is available drove from Orlando wastes my time a day token off from work and says the car wasn t available it got sold , so you mean to tell me a car get sold within 3 hours then try selling me a another car that cost more but still would not make a deal their are all liars and beware people what they sell you cause their liars

DEWEY CHEATEM AND HOWE Car advertised for 20K magically becomes 28K. If they have to lie to get you in the door you obviously can't trust a word they say afterwards. Dealerships like this are why most people would prefer getting a Root Canal than to endure the car buying experience.

I trade in 2 cars for 2 new models on April 2, 2016. They paid of the old ones, but 1 paid of was made more than a month later so i have to paid the bank for the old car too, so in short words, I was paying for 3 cars, but only have 2. The financial manager, Jorge Mejia, told me that at the moment of the paid off they going to request the paid off balance with the date of my contract (# 45030) 4/2/2016. and the bank is going to reimburse the amounts that I paid over. Tropical request the paid off on May,6 and only paid $15,616,00 instead of the $15,927.51 that is in my contract. I;m being calling, show in person and nothing happen. My bank said that TROPICAL have to reimburse me the amount of $311.51 amount that was deducted from my bank account to paid my old car.
Tropical Chevrolet is given me the running-around; finance manager said accounting have to cut the check, accounting never answer the phones and only work M-F 9-5 but as I said, NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. I want this solve now, is almost 3 month. Enough is enough.

I have a really bad experience with this Dealership Tropical Chevrolet because I called to the dealership requesting information about 2011 MB which was available online and the lady Andrea Castillo from the internet department ensures the vehicle was available and verify the price but I drove for 45 minutes to the dealership the salesman told me that vehicle was sold the night before. The salesman try to show me other vehicle but I asked what was the price and his responded it s only $1500 more but is couple years newer; I decided to see the other MB but later I found the vehicle don t start because need to replace the battery which was okay for me. Later on the manager Carlos Lascano come to talk about the salesman make a mistake about the price of the vehicle and now is $5000 more, I was very disappointed with this dealership manager, This manager knew need to give lower price and come back with different story about the vehicle isn t good for sale because has a circuit. I can t believe it but decided to leave the dealership. I don t recommend do business with this Tropical Chevrolet dealership.

Bought a car and the battery was bad, they said our dealership does service for safety inspection, it passed with 4/10 score but the car still turns on so the car is good to sell. They sold it to me and now I have to do all this changes/fixes extra money. Falsify service they did.
People on phone are friendly until you buy the car then they don't answer your phone number, they pass you around and on hold a lot...If that's something you have time to deal with...has been a headache experience and I'd like everyone to know. I'm not very picky or exaggerated person but this is the truth and needs to be heard. I'm sorry if I sound to harsh but is what exactly happened to me.

I agreed on deal and the deal was changed. We agreed on adding lifetime warranty for engine/transmi. etc. and they didn't provide paperwork for that until I had to ask over and over on the phone. BUT Extra Tend warranty of $600- 900 was added without my permission and the signature on paperwork looks different than my signature. Will be investigating further. I wouldn't recommend the place for car buying used and new vehicles.

Still dealing with them on the phones, I don't even know what to do anymore ... I been on waiting for 4 days. Not real answers to solve my case. I'd love to find someone to investigate the dealership further for falsify information and potential signature forge.

This is my 4th or 5th car from Tropical Chevrolet. I have worked with Robenson twice before. I love the no pressure, relaxed atmosphere. I feel we have become friends. I'm very happy with my vehicle purchase.

In June of 2018 I went to my local Chevrolet dealer , Tropical Chevrolet , to fix a problem that i had with my vehicle where my key was stuck in the ignition. I went to a factory dealer knowing it does cost more , and believing with the unethical practices iin the auto repair industry, that i wouldn t have that sort of problem with GM directly . After taking my vehicle for repairs and without a complaint , dishing out a whopping $1000 for my bill, I was right back there within a couple of weeks with the same complaint . To sum things up , I ve been there 4 tines in about a month and a half s time. I am hoping this time was truly my last . Today I went to go pick up my vehicle for the third time of them completing the same repairs , and just as I was finally relieved hoping this problem was over , one of the employees stops me and says I damaged the loaner vehicle and was responsible for a repair that costs $1500, but they would do me a favor and only charge me $1100, because of the mishaps I had already experienced with them in such a short amount of time . One of the managers proceeded to tell me that I drove the vehicle 30 miles , not realizing that I was on bed rest with a rib contusion, and I live a couple of blocks away from the dealership, so this vehicle never left my home! I was forced into them charging my card for $500, not including the $1000 that I already spent . Lastly , when I asked for them to pull the video that showed the female employee and I doing the vehicle s inspection before I left the dealer , they first stated it could take a long time to pull the video , and then stated they saw the video of me and I never pointed it out BUT, He texted me the completely wrong date of me picking up the vehicle . I really knew there was a big problem when they wanted me to pay additional for my repairs after they repaired the wrong part , then said I drove the loaner vehicle 30 miles basically accusing me of lying as if I would not take responsibility for my actions if I really had caused any damages . I am leaving this review to ensure this doesn t happen to anyone else . Extremely volatile practices in this dealer really giving GM and Chevrolet a bad name . I am truly disgusted , this is a terrible place .

I own a 2019 Camaro SS.
I originally purchased my vehicle from Bomnin Chevy which is far from where I live which is the reason why I visit Tropical for service. The first time I went to Tropical I had ordered a Cold Air Intake from Chevy accessories website for pick up at Tropical. As I walk in the service department, the lady tells me they do not have my part and that I should go to Bomnin. (Without doing any effort to look up my order). I show her the receipt and she contacts a few people who eventually find my part. She then tries to hand me the intake, and tells me I need to go to Bomnin to get it installed because that s where I purchased the car. (I had paid for pick up and installation in Tropical through the website). She calls her manager and he assists her in what to do. 3/4 hours later I walk out with my Intake installed. (Hassle).

Next time I come to Bomnin I deal with one of the gentlemen in the service department named Arturo for an oil change. He tried to convince me to do service on brakes, brake fluid, etc. (My car was brand new first oil change). The oil change was supposed to be free, but he still charged me various fees such as intake inspection, miscellaneous charges, etc. paid over $100 for a free oil change.

Few months later my brakes were squeaking and I went back to get them checked. Arturo recommends me to get them lubricated, and charged me $200 do to the service. I check the receipt and guess what? Intake inspection, Customer pay shop charge for repair order, and plenty of things I did not ask for. At that point I was so frustrated and decided to never go back.

Since we are in a pandemic, I had to return to Bomnin to get my oil changed. Dealt with Lauren Felder. She inspects my vehicle, takes pictures with her tablet, makes me sign all documents, etc. then quotes me $99.99+ tax for oil change.

Once I return to pick up my vehicle and pay, she tells me because my car takes 10 quarts of oil the oil change will be $200.45 with tax.
I check the receipt and it says 6qts of oil. $47 additional for labor, $123.50 for the oil, $17 miscellaneous charge, + tax.

At this point, I will never be returning to Tropical again. The way the associates think they can lie to customers and make them fools is not good business. I love Chevy but this dealership is very unprofessional. I even got my phone stolen in there and the managers/everyone working there did NOTHING to assist me.

HORRIBLE service I will NEVER be coming back here.

I arrived to the dealership and was given a warm greeting by Ana Almonte. Ana's customer service was fantastic. She walked me through the process, went on a short test drive with me and answered many of my questions. She went above and beyond in assisting me in getting the car I wanted. Also, the finance department Yubriela was good in answering questions I had with financing the car. She was just as helpful. Highly recommend if you purchase here that you seek these 2 lovely individuals. You won't be sorry.
