I been through the worst experience with this dealership. I bought a car that I didn t know that had lots of problems the first few days was fine but after those days have been hell. The car hesitates when I accelerate and when I drive the car I hear liquid moving under the hood. It have a problem jerking when I drive the car. When I went to go get it service they give a list of problems that a car I just bought a few days ago have. My coolant was leaking the oil was leaking also. I got it fix myself because the car was not under warranty and supposedly they sold me the car as is which my salesman or the finance guy never told me about. So I m stuck with a mess up car everytime I fix something wrong with it another problem comes up now I m having a problem with my transmission.If I can give no stars I would have.

I d like to start by saying I visited about 7dealerships before I decided to lease from here and the only reason I did was because after purchasing my last vehicle I didn t want to get ripped off again. As we all know car salesman are the pushiest people you can ever encounter. However I can not brag enough about ROBENSON JEANNOT. This man not only knows his stuff but also tries his best to not waist your time or hassle and goes above and beyond to get you what you want. You are an angel sent for heaven and I really do appreciate the time you took to give me the best customer service I can receive. For that reason only I can assure you that I will return and refer as much as I can. Everyone I encountered at this dealership was so kind and helpful. I really do wish I can say the same about their insurance agent. That s the only reason I m giving them 4stars instead of 5. Lisa in the service department is AMAZING. When my truck broke down she noticed I was flustered & unsure of how to handle the situation. Came in for oil change and for screw in tire. Oil change was purportedly performed. However, dealer stated only option for tire was replacement. Despite this being incorrect, dealer gave reason as screw being on edge of tire. Screw was INSIDE first tread block, and screw width was less than 6mm, which makes tire eligible for plug AND patch. But dealer was interested only in making money, and refused to offer this option. To make matters worse, dealer INTENTIONALLY let pressure out of tire before delivering car to me, even though tire had kept full pressure for the 24 hours since the puncture. Clearly, dealer did this intending to give me no option but to leave the car with them to have the tire replaced for $500+. The service advisor assigned to me even had the guts to suggest I could take the car from them with a low-pressure tire, and that it would not be a safety issue! However, a single service advisor (not the advisor working with the service technician trying to rip me off) recognized the rip-off attempt, and more specifically realized that I recognized the rip-off attempt, and then told my service advisor on this occasion to take the car back to have the tire reinflated. I then took the car to a nearby tire shop and had the tire repaired for $10.
I understand that the dealership service centers and used car operations are their profit lifeblood. However, the employees with the highest ethics and morals must be staffing these areas, to build customer loyalty. Unfortunately, this dealer is only interested in the quick buck, knowing they have a large population base to recycle previously ripped-off customers with new ones.

It really is possible to enjoy a great relationship with a car dealership. The secret sauce: a commitment by its owner/management to giving customers the love they deserve. I bought my '15 Corvette Z06 here in December, 2014 from a long waiting list. I expected my sales rep, Harris McBride, to grab every extra dollar he could shake out of me for this super-demand car. Instead, he shocked me by calling with exactly the right car weeks early, quoting me a fair price when I showed up, and wrapping up the deal so I could go roaring off the lot that evening. I expected my Z06 to be as quirky as a 650HP., 7-speed manual, track-ready race car has a right to be. But the only problem I've had is an OnStar software glitch. My last service visit was handled in 2 hours by pleasant, professional Lisa Glynn, and while I waited, the owner Ian Wildstein stopped by to introduce himself - a car guy who clearly loves his business. We talked about the racing they do, which few dealers get involved in. I noticed that every other customer, regardless of the cost of the car they were buying or servicing, received the same attention from Mr. Wildstein's team.. So I would recommend Tropical as a model of what every dealership should be - owned, managed and staffed by people who genuinely care about the people they serve.

The prices what you see on advertises are not even close for the real price. More than $2.000 for fees and $3.000 for inspection... yes inspection meanwhile they will sell you the car as is! If you pay $3.000 for a dealer you will get warranty with the car. They not showing Carfax to you because it s too expensive. Worst experience I ve ever had in car dealership. Displeased with service , took vehicle in for wiper switch replacement and when i received the vehicle back the water hose and nozzles that disperse the water to the windshield was damage. The manager stated he would not take blame for the issues and offered to give me a new estimate after spending 495.77 on the current repair bill.
I received a follow up phone call from a different manager today 3/3 who basically said he was not in the business to fraud customers for something that was so petty this person called me back to battle and prove a point because i filed a complaint with the BBB instead of having my issue resolved I will not ever do service again with Tropical Chevrolet as these people are very rude and matter factly to your face someone should tell them no more how much money is being spent its not petty when the consumer has to pay for it .
That was a bad experience with this Chevrolet I got a car on December 3 2018 the car got a lot problems the keys not working the break it not working before I put a deposit for the car they told me they will fix all those problems but it not trust and my radio it not working for 2 days today I was talking to the General manager he told oh he not gonna paid $500 to fix the radio I work really hard to get my money and every months I gonna paid for the car $257 it not good tha s really crazy and the general manager it not really professional at all when I called the bank they are told me Chevrolet supposed to fix the car
cuz I get only one month with the car.when You gonna get a car they are really nice but when car got problem they re really nasty with if i got someone need a car he or she want to go there I gonna tell them no bad experience

I contacted this dealer regarding a used car that was posted onlone through car guru. I was contacted in return and told the car was still available amd at the dealer 20 mins before i got there. At arrival the car salesman ealked up to me without a mask less than 6 ft away to only put on mask after introducing himself. The car i went to see was not there!! And they were trying to get me to see every other car that was not in my price range. Also inside dealership i saw multiple employees with no mask during a pandemic. They lie to get you in to sell whatever they have. Not happy I was lied to!!!
The worst place where you can do a business. I made the mistake of changing my car and it has been a disgrace, 45 days for the vehicle to be delivered to the bank. They put thousands of dollars in phantom charges on your debt as guarantees that do not benefit you at all and you do not know you have it. Then you call and the right person never answers you. Anyway. EYE, do not let yourselves be misled that it costs a lot of work and sacrifice to pay a vehicle for unscrupulous people to abuse you.

I was given a "VIP" appointment by a receptionist Indiana to test drive a new Stingray. It took me 40 min to reach the dealership. Once there, I was told that I have to be ready to buy the car before they let me drive it. I had never heard such a ridiculous proposition from a dealership. How am I supposed to know if I want to pay 80k for a car without first test-driving it. They told me they were sorry for the inconvenience. I'm sorry for the dealership. This is unprofessional.
I've dealt with this tropical Chevrolet twice in the past year and both times it was the same extremely rude people work there...it's almost as if, if you can't make them any money they don't want to talk to you. I called and asked them about a 2020 Kia soul electric and ask them what the range was and all I get is this I don't know look it up yourself. they also sold me a vehicle that I had looked at but somehow my mechanic missed that it needs a new ABS system
PLEASE READ and BE AWARE!!! They tried to delete my review, so I m reposting it. Just shows how guilty the service department is. I Tried to get my second oil change done for my 2015 Chevy Colorado and found out my oil pan was stripped. My current Chevy dealership refused to perform the oil change due to damage to my oil pan by someone using an oversized drain plug to cover up the mistake of stripping the oil pan due to putting the bolt in too tight. TROPICAL CHEVROLET was the only dealership to perform an oil change on my vehicle since I purchased it in April 2018. The repair will cost $2500. After contacting the GM DANIEL SANGUILY and Service Manager PAUL CELESTINE over 30x they tried to point the finger at the current Chevy dealership. In order to diagnose a stripped oil pan you have to remove the bolt (which was not secure). I also have proof of oil stains in home parking space, therefore oil was leaking from my vehicle before scheduling my second oil change. As a result, Tropical is a 100% to blame. The damage to coils of the bolt and oil pan was due to cross threading a bolt. And common sense you CAN NOT cross thread a bolt by removing a bolt. It can only be done by drilling the bolt in too tight. Its so sad that people don t value integrity and honesty anymore. Although they offered to fix the truck they said I would need to bring the vehicle back to Florida. I currently live in Minnesota, so have no idea how to get the vehicle back to Florida. They need to take ownership of their mistake. I do plan on taking this all the way up the chain of command and further. I refuse to pay for something I did not do. And I am still waiting on a response.
I want to thank the pretty lady of Alejandra who helped me in the process to buy my silverado 1500 chevrolet has been faith the best trucks I have bought many. Thanks to the dealer for all the help I recommend them 100%

Was promised a bedliner for my truck as part of the deal. The next couple months have been full of lies. Used part and a non-GM part was ordered for my truck. Said they could not ship the part to me cause the dealer had to install it, but tried to send me to a random shop in Miami. I had to drive 2.5 hours to Miami to get it installed cause they would not send it to me so I could do it myself. Shop owner left early and told me to install it myself in his parking lot. Now they won't let me get one installed in Naples cause of the part warranty. Should've NEVER bought my truck here. I did my end of the deal, but they have not. DO NOT BUY HERE. You've been warned.
UPDATE: Filed a BBB complaint on the 22nd of January. BBB says they have till February 7th to respond. Still has not responded. I have called 4 times and left messages but cannot get anyone to call me back. Called the number the "owner" left under this review, and nothing.

Worst dealership experience BY FAR! TERRIBLE Customer Service!
I found the vehicle I wanted online and went to the dealership to see the vehicle and make a deal/purchase. However, the salesman Aristides Rojas (ARTY) told me that the car may have been sold because he could not find they keys. After waiting OVER an hour for him to find out the car had in fact NOT been sold he comes back to say the vehicle was not on their lot, it was at another location! Arty then tells me he can arrange to have the car brought down and I could look at it at a later date. I asked him to calculate the total costs of the car to go over numbers in hopes of making a cash deal. He goes somewhere to get a price and comes back after 30 min with nothing stating no one was there, everyone had went home for the day. Talk about a complete waste of time.
In the meantime I found the exact car with less features and a higher price at another dealership OFF LEASE. The service there was superb! However, due to the car being in a previous accident my bank refused to finance it. Let me be very clear had my bank approved it I would have purchased that car in a heart beat vs going back to Tropical Chevy and dealing with the terrible service.
After coming to an agreement on a price with Arty, (BUYER BE AWARE the advertised price is approximately $5000 less than the total price after they add in all their fees) I set up a time to go back the dealership to finally see the car for the first time almost a week later and the car was in great condition and I decided to move forward with the purchase.
At that time I put down my deposit, and had arranged to pick up the car within a few days after they received the remaining balance via check from my bank.
I called Arty to confirm he had received the check and that I could pick up the car (mind you his communication was terrible, he wouldnt respond the texts or calls). Arty asked for the car to be picked up at 4:30p. We texted Arty when we were on our way, my husband left work to be there on time only to arrive and Arty tells us he was out to lunch. You can only imagine the frustration we are having at this point.. it gets worse. After waiting for 30 min we tried to see if someone else could help us, after all we're just pickup up the car its been paid for! The sales manager tells us Arty was in the break room eating his lunch the entire time we were waiting for him!
Once he gets to us and sees my husbands aggravation he tries to explain to us that the hold up was because other ppl werent doing their jobs and he was still waiting for a temporary tag.
After going over paperwork and assuring everything had been completed for the sale, my husband goes out to inspect the vehicle and notices a NEW scratch on the rear driver side door that was not there the day we decided to purchase and put down our deposit. We brought it to Arty's attention he came out and saw it and instructed us to bring the car back on Friday (today) to have it fixed. He stated he would personally take the car to "his guys" I guess in the service dept to have it fixed.
I should also mention that we had photos of the cars we personally took on the day we put down the deposit, that shows there was NO scratches on the car which we showed Arty.
After speaking with Arty today about the scratch and due to the depth of the scratch the door would possibly have to be repainted because buffering it would not fix the scratch, he tells me if it cant be fixed by buffering it, there would be NOTING he could do for us or about it! So I asked him for his direct manager or supervisors number and he refused to give it to me, stating he needed to speak to them first! WOW!!
I'm sorry but after spending almost $20,000 on this car and almost half of that in cash I will not accept that there is nothing you can do for me, considering the scratch occurred while in your possession AFTER we put down our down payment. I am still waiting to for Arty to call me back today otherwise, I will be reaching out the the GM Danny Sanguily who's info was given to me by other means.

This place is horrible! You can get better deals and get treated like a person elsewhere! I dealt with this dealership approx 6 years ago and ended up getting a phenomenal deal on a more luxurious and all around better car elsewhere because they refused to negotiate. Fast forward to now, I walked in looking for a camaro ss or possibly a corvette depending on prices. I can only assume they pre-judge me based on what I was wearing and assumed I wasn't serious. I requested numbers on one particular vehicle and he quoted me on a different one. I wanted the bigger engine and more expensive car but he kept trying to push me on the cheaper smaller engine vehicle. Not only did they give me the most ridiculous prices known to man but not knowing that I have a credit score of 822 refused to negotiate. This frustrated me and completely disgusted me. I completely dislike the chevy brand and now refuse to ever drive a chevy. The same night I walked into a different dealership (different car brand) and spoke with their sales people. I ended up buying a far better and more expensive vehicle because they sat down and treated me like a person. I will NEVER deal with this dealership ever again in my life. I strongly suggest you go elsewhere.
Terribly disappointed it the customer service! We have tried contacting them about buying a car from them on four different occasions and no one has gotten back to us. Every time we spoke to someone we were told they would get back to us. They lost a buyer and an easy sell! I do not recommend this location.

I don't but I must say that I didn't feel pressured to purchase a car and my dealer was very informative and allowed me to look at both new Chevys and their used selection. My dealer, Robby, was very kind and did not push me to purchase a car, although I did purchase a new Chevy Malibu, which is beautiful and drives so well. They delivered the car to my house in Broward County. If you decide to purchase a Chevy, call Robby!
