I would rather not have given a star myself. After the misuse of my data followed by correspondence about the termination of my account that clearly asked "Have my services been discontinued?". Received another message from their partners. First I was helped by someone helpful but clearly incompetent to read emails.

Be referred to the control panel once and then receive a clear answer by mail another day. Weak support with focus on the wrong thing, welcome to 2017.

Very nice service. I have several products running here such as domains, web hosting, vps and Stack. I've never had any problems. The company can be reached via mail and via the control panel, which is more than sufficient for me. Web hosting is very user-friendly where you can easily add your website online. Built-in free SSL is definitely a plus. VPS is fully automatic and is easy to install again with 1 click. I have been at several web hosting parties but Transip is at number 1 with me

With my company switched to a server at Stacks. The transfer is almost complete and everything seems to be running properly. Help is given via the online chat function and that also works quickly. I hope that the webdav option at Apple will soon work (problem seems to lie with Apple) so that all colleagues are satisfied.

I myself use the storage as a backup of my data. Data loss at TransIP or my side could therefore be absorbed.

Still 2/5, their support service is very good and they clearly invest a large part of their budget in PR.

Problem with SSL certificate on 1 of the websites. Answered within half an hour and was able to solve it within a few minutes. Fine! In 6 years time indeed only needed 3 times support, everything is easy to set up in control panel.

"Just send an email"

- Transip is expensive
- With DDOS attacks on a VPS they like to close your services without offering a free solution (eg cloud flare)
- If you have a lot of traffic on your sites, they will gladly take you offline - without offering you an upgrade.

A few days were needed to find out where exactly the problem was with the help of the necessary print screens.

I have been working with TransIP for years, server/vps/domains for many customers.
Though one could say I am "tech savvy", I have redirected customers without any tech knowhow to TransIP too.
Their support is excelent, always on par and fast in response, really reading up on what your situation is. From administration questions up to rather difficult tech issues, TransIP always has the right man/woman for the job, if not they instant forward to a colluege.

Just ordered a VPS from TransIP and migrated my files to it. Everything went well, until a mere 8 hours later they decided to shut it down and block access to my account. They wanted me to upload my ID to confirm my account details. This is a very rude and unpleasant way of treating new customers. Now my server is offline and I can't phone them.

Last June 2018 I received a Stack invite where I was asked to redeem a code, I executed this on the day of the mail. Now in August 2018 I log in to my account and it appears that the Stack is not listed with my products. As it turns out, redeeming the code apparently didn't go well and the Stack was unceremoniously forgiven to another. I have not been informed of this and, in short, I am unlucky according to the company transip. What an insanely bad service!

I have moved all my data from Onedrive to Stack because with Microsoft, Google, Dropbox etc you don't know where exactly they store their data. With Stack from Trans IP you know that your data stays in the Netherlands, which is great.

I have needed their support once so far, because the 2FA part with Webdav did not work in my case. I was always answered within the agreed time. Even on the weekend they answer, which was very nice. Eventually the solution was found and I can continue to sync with the cloud. With 2FA on!

I have had my worst experience with them.
1. They will share private information(email/phone) with Indian freelancers who will email you thousands of offers every day, and even call you to ask for some projects
2. They will auto extend the domain you purchased by default, and if you don't pay they will come to you with a lot of hefty penalties.
This should be enough to avoid this service.

In both situations the speed on questions was particularly good. I can not say otherwise that I am extremely satisfied and will certainly not doubt in the future where I put my services.

Compared to MEGA and even with Onedrive, I find Stack another beginner on File Sync and Share with others. It is good to save files, but offers very little flexibility. TransIP is a pleasant company. Good and fast helpdesk. Professional.
I have been a TransIP customer for 2 years now, using Stackstorage. Since 3 months a paying customer, I used the free version for that.
The helpdesk reacts quickly and with professional answers. The problem handling can, however, sometimes take a long time (+3 weeks). You will receive status updates (especially if you specifically ask for it :-)) and apologies if it unexpectedly takes longer than expected.
The customer is also taken into account with tips for the development of the Android Stack client, for example.

I don't understand some of the bad Reviews, but agree that this company is more aimed at people with some technical background. I have been a customer of this company for already 5 years (Hosting, email only, VPS, Stack), and with every interaction I had with the customer service, I was helped swiftly and it always seemed like they tried to offer a solution most fitting for my request instead of what would make them more profit. Yeah, this company might not be the cheapest (although still cheap), but customer wise and product wise very extensive. Thanks TransIP for the good 5 years where I experienced no problems and downtime I've been aware of.

Customer service is useless and pretending they never spoke to you by phone and they don't have customer service by phone, while if there is just a phone number on google and an employee answers the phone. Their website has several bugs, which means that cancellations are sometimes not implemented. Eventually they ship you with collections and products that you have not used. Applause TransIP, completely VALUELESS!
