We had a great experience at Fred Anderson Toyota. I will buy with them in the future, because of the nice and knowledgeable salespeople they employ. Fred Anderson Toyota won't give the run-around like Honda Sanford dealership. Will give you fair value for your trade and they will help you get the vehicle you want to drive.

Went I visited Fred Anderson, I never anticipated bringing a car home with me that day! The dealership did an over the top job to get me the car I wanted to buy as a gift for my wife. Not to say there weren't some bumps in the road along the way. But I held firm and they delivered. I saw a Nissan rogue 2013 online and went there to check the car. I spoke to James he was very professional, friendly and made the sale process go smoothly. The next day call to check how everything is going with the car and if I have any questions I should feel free to contact him. I went with my dad to buy the car, we were both please with his service and would recommend anyone who is looking for a car to go there.
I was told I was gonna get a call regarding financing the day after I went there, is been 2 weeks now, I'm still waiting for the call, they have no respect for the costumer nor desires to sell whatsoever, worst experience ever.
Highly recommend this dealership. My husband is not a fun of the car buying process and with a specific car in mind, we called multiple Toyota dealerships in NC. At the verge of giving up, we called Toyota of Sanford and we are so glad we did. We are so thankful to Brian for turning what was a very frustrating process into a smooth, fast, and seamless process. Although he did not have exactly what we were looking for, he took it upon himself to locate it, and had it at his dealership when he said he would. There was no going back and forth like all of the other dealerships we had previously called and we received the best deal. David our sales person was great. He was very patient and thorough. Michael in finance was thorough, straightforward and efficient. Knowing how particular we are, and being big on customer service, I can say that our experience was outstandingly amazing. It is always a pleasure dealing with the staff at Sanford Toyota. They are efficient and friendly. My car is always serviced promptly. I have not had any issues with the work performed by the mechanics. I recommend Sanford Toyota!
I scheduled a 60,000 mile service for my Tacoma, which apparently takes about 2 1/2 hours to complete right now (close to Christmas so understandable). Unfortunately I was not made aware of the length of time required for the service until I had made the 45 min drive there. Since I only had time for the normal oil change (about an hour), I asked if they could break up the service needed into 2 different trips. The guy at the front desk refused, and said it all has to be done at one time in order to stay in the service plan. I was a little upset at his refusal, so I left the dealership. On the way home, I spoke with the service manager, who also refused to break up the service into 2 different appointments (even a week apart). So now, I ll have to run up the miles until I can make time to do the drive back up there to deal with their horrible customer service.
I had taken my 4Runner into the dealership for service and since I planned to buy a new car later in 2015, I took this time to visit the sales floor. Mark Daly offered to show me some vehicles and answer any questions I might have. Even though I made it very clear that I was not interested in buying yet, Mark very patiently and thoroughly answered my questions. I was impressed with Mark's knowledge of the Toyota products and his friendly, yet professional ways. I went home, did my research and returned two days later and bought a new Prius! Mark was excellent and I would recommend him to anyone who wants a really positive purchasing experience.

I was thoroughly dissapointed with my trip to Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford. I was told on the phone ahead of time that my initial offer on the car was off by $1000 assuming a similar trade-in that was offered elsewhere. I was then told that we may be able to close that gap by offering me a higher trade-in. I took that information in good faith and drove 40 minutes to the dealership. To my surprise when we finally sat down to discuss price, the cars price was now several thousand higher (several add-ons and now it was CPO) AND my trade-in offer was $3000 less than we discussed on the phone. If they couldn't match the trade-in they could have just said so and I would have been on my way. The finance manager had the audacity to tell me I needed to do better research, my math was "funny" (I'm an engineer, math is kind of my thing), and that the CPO price not being advertised anywhere on the internet was a "third-party" issue. So in summary, the sales manager will say anything to get you in the show room, the sales staff is very friendly, and the finance manager I dealt with has the worst customer service skills I've seen at a dealership (that's saying something). Steer clear of this place if you want honesty and integrity in your car shopping process.
Update: Never actually got a call from the manager as indicated in their response. Did get a call from the salesman hoping i was still interested in the car. I am not.

The good: prices are great, my salesman, Marco was great. Very helpful and friendly. We were able to get the negotiation to a reasonable price. Not my target range but the price was very reasonable for the vehicle I was interested in.
The bad: Eddie, one the finance guys, was rude on our very first interaction. I needed help with understanding some of the terms my bank was laying out and my salesman guided me to Eddie so he can help me. He didn t help. He was rude from the beginning of the conversation and didn t answer my questions.
The horrible: after a long day of going back and forth and finally coming to a deal. The floor manager , Jason, backed out the price we were set on and said he couldn t give a $500 military rebate because I wasn t using Toyota to finance. I was never told that was part of the deal and he knew I was not using Toyota. The part that left me with a bad taste was his attitude when I told him I wasn t going to take that new deal. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH JASON.
My husband went to the dealership trying to get a car in his name with his father as a cosigner to help boost his credit. On more than one occasion they confirmed that my husband would be primary, his father secondary. At the end of the transaction, my father-in-law is in fact primary, my husband secondary. However the registration is setup to our address, bills to my father-in-law's.
Also, before the deal was complete they were to provide the missing pieces to the hubcaps and the cargo cover that was missing from the vehicle. To date (2 months after the fact) we still do not have the promised items.
We've also called on more than one occasion to have the license plate mailed to us. The temporary tags are a month expired, and we have not received the license plate to date. Not only that, but the dealer never even called to let us know the plates were there for pick-up. We don't live in Sanford to pick-up easily.
If we didn't have a warranty here, we would never go back.
My sales person (David) was very attentive to what I wanted in a vehicle. He was very patient through my decision process. Great car buying experience and I love my new vehicle!
I had a wonderful experience here with Lacey Tripp. I couldn't get a car anywhere else but Fred Anderson Toyota helped me out and got me in a very nice car with affordable payments. Horrible, it took approx 4 hrs for 4 tires, wipers, & front end alignment , one of the tires were defective so they had to get a new one, won't be back here ever again.
Love this dealership. I was iffy dealing with a rookie sales man but let me tell you David Darrow was professional, nice, sweet, and most of all patient. He knew I was in no hurry to purchase a car until I did my research. Let's just say he waited 3 months and never gave up and finally purchased my car with him. The process was smooth and simple. Updated: only had the car for about 2 weeks and I'm now having problems with the car. Of course when I called them they didn't car cause they've already made their money. Please go else where! I went here to purchase a car put some money down and get a loan for the other half through my bank. They included fees with out my knowledge twice the first time was an almost $800.00 fee for FREE wash and detail ! I had to ask them what that fee was for and get it removed other wise I would've never known about it. I made it very clear I wanted to get insurance through my bank however, they did the insurance through another bank which was very high interest rates I noticed how high the price was and ask Jason in finance who was very, very rude why my price had increased so much thats when I was made aware that they did my through their bank of choice. Jason was just trying to have me sign everything quickly and seem to get an attitude when I asked questions. My sales associate Daniel was very kind however she was new and not very knowledgeable! Manager byron did come to assist her here and there but I just felt like they try to sneak things in and get over on customers. Worst experience ever
I came and saw Jon at Toyota and he was so helpful! I had the hardest time deciding what I wanted, not to mention I know NOTHING about cars and he took the time to explain everything to me. I didn't feel pressured to get anything right away nor did I feel like he was trying to take advantage of me. He was very patient and let me test drive a couple of vehicles to make sure I was comfortable in this big decision I was making. I would come back to Jon everytime. He finds ways to work with you on your time. I even had my boyfriend go and look at the vehicles before we decided to make a purchase and Jon took the time to explain everything to him as well. 10/10 in my book. Will definitely be buying from Jon again in the future. I recommend him to anyone who wants quality customer service and not the typical "car salesman" pitch
The Best Monday Ever! I did a lot of online research on the vehicles that fit my needs. Then I searched local dealers websites. Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford was by far THE BEST! Their website gave me all the information I needed to choose the right car for me and my family, right down to the MPG for each vehicle! The MPG played a major role in my choice because I commute 100 miles a day, and comfort was a close second. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. My Sales Agent Aaron Murchinson was so helpful and friendly. He took me on a test drive,(Not a 5 minute around the block test drive, a Real test drive to let me get the feel of the vehicle and how it handles on winding back roads as well as highway) and I knew after that, I was buying that vehicle! I applaud Fred Anderson Toyota and their team for going above and beyond to serve their customers! I also want to thank Paul and Eddie for their help in making sure my purchase went smoothly! Very disappointed. My first time servicing my car, they told me no oil change after I used my car for six months, they said tire rotation and nothing like that happened, and also, they made me pay $27.77 for services they never rendered. Very bad!!! I
Bought a vechile before here and had a terrible experience due to the lack of knowledge, customer service and the feeling of getting screwed over. But I will say that both Candice in sales and Josh in financing completely changed both my husband and I experience from a previous encounter. We were both against going to get another vechicle after the original was totaled but we wanted the additional discount for customer loyalty and our warranty which was why we went back. It turned into a great experience and we left feeling satisfied with our purchase.
Service contract is a crock of s@#t. Service manager smirked at me and asked didn't I read the whole thing. I did not against my instinct because they are very popular. I never expected to get ripped off. If you don't take the "recommended" services thet THEY recommend your oil changes are no longer free. They rotated my tires and I couldn't even drive my car until I brought it back in for the tires to be balanced. Then they say I need alignment!!! Well I didn't need one until they sent me home with the car shaking so bad I had to drive 45 mph just to make it home. Leith sells Toyotas. Do yourself a favor and go with them.
Went in today to lease a vehicle which is priced at $44,00. Also it had a discounted online price. Once I clicked on there discounted price it showed the vehicle with all their fees included, pricing the vehicle at $38,000. So I decided to proceed forward to lease the vehicle since it s at a good price and proceeded the paperwork. Soon to find out they were not giving the full discounted price and selling the vehicle at 42,000 instead of 38,000. The Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford lives up to that expectation with a customer-first approach, for my scenario it was not customer first approach and does not value or keep their word. Fred Anderson Toyota say they honor their internet price which they don t at all.
I went to Toyota of Sanford after totaling my 2009 Camry. Dennis was my representative, and he made us feel like old friends. It was a pleasurable experience to purchase my latest Toyota from them. I purchased a beautiful 2020 Prius from this location about a week ago. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly helpful from start to finish and listened to my needs and concerns. Being a nervous first time car buyer with previous bad experiences, it really meant a lot to me that they took the time to go over everything with me in detail and answer every question I had. Katie and Aaron did an amazing job of working with me during my crazy work schedule, and Tiffany stayed late just to get my paperwork started. Mike tailored a package that was appropriate for my needs and discussed every option at length to ensure I understood my options, and never tried to push anything I didnt want. I highly recommend this location due to its welcoming environment and knowledgable staff. My family will definitely be back!
Friendly staff, nice waiting area w/ free wi-fi, tv, seperate room for kids, nice drink selectiion of complimentary coffees, teas, cold bottled water. Sometimes, complimentary snacks available. There are also vending machines. They are usually very efficient. When you make an appointment they give you the option to wait or they will drive you to another location to wait for your vehicle to be serviced. I have been very pleased with my vehicle and the great service I recieve there. I get my other vehicles serviced there as well as the vehicle I purchased at this dealership.
This is by far the best place ever!! As soon as I got there I was getting help and they actually listen to what you want and keep you in your budget. I would recommend everyone to go here! I worked with Nate and he is awesome! He listened to what I wanted and got me exactly what I was looking for! They have wonderful customer service!! I wanted to be sure FA Sanford had the vehicle I wanted to look at. Brenda came on 'chat' and assured me the exact car I wanted was physically at the dealership and we made an appointment. When I showed the car was not there. The salesman said "Brenda is not a real person"?? I told the manager that we had driven from Pinehurst only to find no car. His first response, ' Well, its not that far - only 30 miles'. REALLY??? I will never go near this place again
I brought my RAV4 in for its 45,000 mile service a few minutes before my appointment time. I was greeted and checked in promptly. I was told my car would be ready in about an hour. It took closer to an hour and a half. The service representative was very apologetic and made sure there was no charge for servicing my RAV4 since the wait time was longer than he said it would be. I will continue to service my RAV4 at Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford because I have always gotten wonderful service from the service department.
Our salesman, Billy was friendly and courteous. He met us in the parking lot and immediately offered assistance. I already knew what I was looking at, so after offering my daughter and I refreshments he quickly filled out the needed paperwork and got the keys for a test drive. He took his time during the test drive to make sure I was comfortable and all my questions were answered. After the test drive we begin negotiation on the price. A manager took over in the price breakdown letting me know upfront that he prices without much room for movement. Unfortunately we were unable to come to an agreed-upon price for this particular vehicle. I would recommend this dealership although I was disappointed that their best price after everything was added in (out the door) was still $600 higher than list-price... other dealerships have offered a much bigger discount on similar vehicles making the out the door price much less than list.
I was pleased with the service done to my vehicle and pleased with the customer service adviser, Kyle James. The service on my car was done in a timely fashion. I drive almost an hour to have my service done on both of my Toyota vehicles, and because of the consistency of good service, it is worth the travel time to make this trip. Thanks.

Terrible customer service. When I bought the car the sales and finance men were nice but after having it exactly a month, it leaves me stranded a hour and half away and shuts off. I drop it off at Toyota this morning and they tell us we can t have a loaner because they don t have any loaners to give out. Thanks for leaving me with no car with a 3 year old and a job! Said they probably won t get to my car until this afternoon and no clue when it will be ready. A loaner should be guaranteed when your car you just bought breaks down within a month.
Thanks to this dealership because I did not want to do business with a particular one in Durham. Needed service on my RAV4. Luther, in the service department, was was great. My experience was a little unique. I went there prepared for the purchase of a specific used car (insurance/financing ready) but when I got there it sold the previous evening. Silas worked between management and I to on the price of a similar, yet more expensive car. I have to say, from having literal nightmare prior experience with car buying, this one was SOOOOO much better. I would definitely recommend this auto-selling team.

Very professional and excellent service!!! I had a question about my oil level and the service technician even walked out to my vehicle with me in the blistering heat and he personally checked my oil for me and showed me, and was extremely pleasant about all of it. Thank you! Also the waiting room was very nice with free beverages and bottled water as well as a separate room with a tv for kids. I was extremely impressed
