My wife and I came to the dealership by chance, just to look at the models that Hyundai offered. We just wanted to ask a few questions and maybe get a brochure on a model or two. Next we meet Deborah Pascuzzi, a very friendly sales associate to say the least. We asked her a few questions, she showed us the vehicles we were interested in. The next the you know, we were applying for our new vehicle. Information completed, paperwork done and next thing you know we re meeting Heather Black, financial manager. She worked her tail off to get us our new vehicle. These two ladies did their best to get us the best deal and our new vehicle, a 2017 Tucson AWD. We can t thank these ladies enough for what they ve done for my wife and I. I promised to bring them lunch one of these days just to show our appreciation. We would definitely recommend Toronto Hyundai, Deborah Pascuzzi and Heather Black.

I have had problems with the power steering in my 2009 Genesis not working. I had brought my Genesis to Toronto Hyundai 2 times previously but they could not find anything wrong. About two hours after I left Toronto Hyundai, being advised they could find nothing wrong, my power steering failed again. I had the car towed to Toronto Hyundai and Peter Luis looked after my car. He along with the Service Manager James were very helpful, courteous and responsive. The mechanic was able to duplicate the problem with my power steering and fixed it. So far it has been working well.
I extend my compliments to Peter, James and the whole Toronto Hyundai team for a job well done.

Sales department is amazing I didnt have any problems with them but to deal with the Parts department is a pain, I was looking for a part for my car and He told me to go to Canadian Tire He didn't even look at the computer, then I ask to replace the battery in my keys and He did but He did some damages to my keys. Now im stuck with a part that I cant replace and a damage set of keys. ( Ask to speak with Al and He will solve any issues)

I took my car to be serviced two days ago and after paying almost $200, I left feeling confident that I had received quality service for my vehicle (having done the service at the dealership and not some mechanic shop found on every other corner). However, yesterday when someone else drove my car and I drove behind them, I noticed that my brake lights and side panel lights were burnt out (a huge ticket in the making!!!) I reviewed the paperwork they gave me that states that everything was checked and was marked as in working order. I called and asked for an explanation as it was clear that the lights were not checked and are not in working order (although it says clearly on the sheet that they are). They told me to bring the car in to have it diagnosed and confirmed that they would charge me at least one hours' labour and parts to diagnose the issue. I was expecting at least an apology and some sort of compensation for having been sent me off with no brake lights, although they gave me paperwork telling me I did, but it was made very clear that I would not receive either.

I will not go back to this dealership, as it's clear they do not do quality work and I will not recommend anyone go there either. I'm very concerned about the work I've had done there until now...I'm now wondering if it was done at all and what kind of quality of work it was.

Very unhappy and disappointed.

I have been servicing my Hyundai vehicle for years...

I have been servicing my Hyundai vehicle for years at Toronto Hyundai. Over the years, what I have noticed is, there seems to be very little parking spaces at this dealership when you bring your car in for service. The parking spots are very close to one another and are very tight. On a few occasions, after my service visit, I had to drive so slowly to get by delivery trucks who stop and unload their deliveries near the service department. Now I know and soon, that Toronto Hyundai will be moving to the Dufferin and Wilson area, I believe on Billy Bishop Way. Now they may have more space because of this move, but they will be in a very heavy and more traffic volume area being closer to Hwy. 401, Yorkdale Mall, Costco, Home Depot and Best Buy. Sorry Toronto Hyundai, but this location will be worse for your dealership.

This dealership gave me a sense of honesty and confidence. I had a driveshaft coupler wear out on my 2009 Santa fe. They reduced the price by $400 and took me on a test drive before and after.
They have very little parking and the sales room is crunched for space.. But I found them knowledgeable.

I booked an appointment at 7:30 am for a winter tire change and I was surprised it's already 8:00 am and my car is still in the parking area. I asked Rovina and she said there is one customer they serviced first and not sure if he has an appointment or not. When they finished Rovina told me they washed my car and I could still see the dirt as if it was washed by the rain. Very poor service.

I bought a used Hyundai from this place. It was a pretty standard dealership deal but because it wasn't my first used car purchase ever I was able to negotiate some aspects of it. I m not going to go into details but do your home work if you want to borrow money for your purchase. You'd be surprised about different sources of financing. One thing stands out though - they did a fantastic job on car cleaning and detailing.

From Best to Worst.

While my car was under warranty, Hyundai staff and service we're impeccable. I enjoyed coming in and being able to work in the guest lobby while I waited for my vehicle. Staff were always friendly, offered sound advice and helped me out during Christmas with a 10% off service offering.

My warranty had recently ended and I went in for a basic oil change and serpentine belt change. I barley made it 2 blocks away from the dealership when my car started to sound like I was driving a tin can. I heard sparks, grinding, rubbing and a smacking sound. The serpentine belt broke and wrapped around several parts under the hood. When I called Hyundai, I was first asked if I could provide a tow back to the dealership. Why would I pay for the tow?

Hyundai eventually arranged for a tow and once they had my car, I was promised a call with an update by a specific time. That never happened. When I called for an update the person who promised it had left for the day so I escalated to the manager who also promised an update by a certain time and low and behold, that never came. When I followed up the next day, the Manager I had originally escalated to met me with a defensive attitude and suggested that the serpentine belt break may not have been Hyundai's fault.

I too work in customer service and sometimes have to deal with tough customers. I am not a tough customer. I simply wanted Hyundai to take ownership and meet the expectations they were setting (calling when they said they would, do what they said they would do). I was extremely disappointed each time Hyundai made a promise and failed to follow through.

The defensive attitude and suggestive shared thoughts from the Manager that Hyundai may not take ownership of this issue was appalling to me. How could the Manager speculate what the issue was or who was responsible before a throughout investigation and review?

Hyundai ended up replacing the serpentine belt, blamed it on the supplier and chalked it up to a defective belt. Did I mention that they had the same tech who installed the belt - determine that it wasn't an installation error?

The Hyundai Service Rep who was 'managing' the situation promised an engine shampoo since antifreeze had exploded all over my engine due to the belt breaking. Think they did that? No, another hit and miss on my expectations.

I spoke to the Service Rep at the front counter who was managing this situation and told her how disappointed I was with this service and lack of meeting the expectations that they set for me.

When she handed over my keys, I noticed a chunk of plastic was missing out of my key fob. The Service Rep immediately started with 'well, you gave your keys to the tow truck driver so who's to say who did that.."

I expressed how I previously advertised the great service at this location and that I'm extremely disappointed in how this was handled - especially the attitude from the Service Manager. I told her that I'm really considering not coming back to this location and they may lose a customer that potentially could've been a lifetime customer.

I gave Hyundai the opportunity to save me as a customer. I chose not to quietly walk away and go somewhere else. I chose to speak up and give Hyundai the opportunity to keep me as a customer. Part of me wanted to remain a customer and not chalk up one bad experience against the previous great experiences.

The rep who had been handling this situation all along responded to me with this: "I'm sorry, it just seems to be a comedy of errors, I'm so sorry. I hope you have a good weekend."

I was standing at the front counter with keys in my hand, Hyundai had a moment to save a good customer and chose not to.

Not once during the entire situation did anyone at Hyundai ask what I needed or what they could do for me. I was met with missed expectations, defense, lack of ownership and an irritable Service Manager who had more attitude than I did when I was a teenager.

I am no longer a customer at Toronto Hyundai

Went in for regular oil change service last Thursd...

Went in for regular oil change service last Thursday. They did their regular car "wash". Got my vehicle back dirtier than how I brought it in... and with many fine sratches all over it. Didn't get to speak to anyone until today...who told me they would review the shop cameras and get back to me. Same person I spoke to over the phone also told me they ONLY use soft cloths and sponges to wash the vehicles.... nobody called me back after 5 hours so decided to go in person today to speak to someone and show them what happened. An employee (who didn't introduce himself) came out to look at it, after much discussion agreed to "fix" the scratches by having their own detailer buff them out. Why would I trust their people so "fix" the issue. The same employee who came out to look at the vehicle said they wash 50+ vehicles everyday and have never had this issue... maybe people don't notice it but I surely did on my newly coated vehicle. Maybe if one employee wasn't rushing to wash so many vehicles, they could take their time and do it properly.

I have a clear protective coating on my vehicle, as to why the picture shows so glossy and difficult to see the fine scratches but you can clearly see the dirt! Thats AFTER their so called car wash...

Poor customer service at this location. Clearly lied to. Will not be returning to this location for service again and wouldn't recommend anyone else to either.

Our sales consultant was Joseph Zhou, he is phenomenal. My Father for the first time in a long while decided to get a new car and Joseph made this process, easy, comfortable, and rewarding. He is an consultant that helps you find exactly what you are looking for and he will spend as much time as you need to make a decision. He'll show you all your options, breeze through budgeting so it's not suffocating, and in the end really amaze you with his customer service. He really goes above and beyond. Even when the doors close and the papers are signed, he'll make himself available to answer ANY questions you may have with your new car. He's a lot more than just a sales consultant, he's someone who's honest, reliable, and full of goodwill.

Friendly service in a modern and clean building. Free coffee and WiFi in service waiting area which is attached to showroom. Service fees are a little higher than my personal mechanic, but comparable to other Hyundai dealerships. Service staff are very customer service centered and actually explain issues and what is done in detail which is refreshing.

My wife and I used Toronto Hyundai for several years to service our 2008 Elantra and to swap the summer and winter tires. Unless you're a serious mechanic, you can never be sure that you're getting the truth, the whole truth. .. but we kept going back. The waiting room is pleasant enough (with free WiFi), they keep to their appointments, all courteous and nice, no problems.
Then we got a deal-breaker and I'm not going back. One season-change I drove in with 4 tires on rims, and they changed them, promptly and at a good price, as usual. Next season-change I drove in with those other 4 tires on rims, and they told me they found a big nail in one of the tires, it couldn't be fixed, I'd have to buy 1 or 2 new tires, or drive away on the wrong season's tires.
Now maybe I'm an unusually suspicious guy, but I just can't believe that I happened to pick up a nail so close to Toronto Hyundai that I made it there no problem, no flat, then I put the tires away without noticing that one was flat, then 6 months later they innocently discovered the nail there. It might be theoretically possible, but having a dealership drum up some new-tire business with a nail gun is also theoretically possible, and that seems much more probable to me. So they've lost my business. I've been going to a non-dealer garage for tire swaps and oil changes, and we'll probably check out one of the other (not so convenient) Hyundai dealers for major checkups.

Great service one of the manage Mr. Tomaj Shahinjou sorry if I am saying wrong name , what a wonderful person. I have issue with my car key and resolved it.

He is very generous and understand the relationship with customer to give them best Service with solution.

I must say I am 100 percent satisfied with service I have got so far in2 years but this was the best out of best.

Given the type of person I am that can be very overwhelmed in any situation, my husband and myself are thankful for Deborah. She made this experience so stress free and felt like she really cared about those who come to her. I highly recommend going to this woman for your car needs. There was no up sales, no pressure, no nothing and truly is a wonderful experience for a first time buyer for a car. Thanks Deborah for all that you did for us. We are happy with our Accent.

When I first walked in with my daughter, at first I wasn't really sure if I was ready to buy a car. We were greeted and welcomed by Patrick who did NOT rush us into buying anything at all. He was very respective and showed us the different model cars. At no point did I ever feel hassled into making a decision right away. Patrick is an amazing salesperson and he made my daughter and I feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to Patrick! Deborah is an amazing person. We are so glad, she is the one who walked up to the reception and met us when we were shopping for a new car. We walked into the dealership just to take a look, compare and figure out our options but once we met Deborah we knew that we were going to be walking out with a car, our car. She introduced us to Heather Black and together they were so helpful and informative, we feel complete confidence with our purchase. Deborah helped us find a car that met our needs, expectations and requirements and so much more. While Heather helped us make sure that we get the most out of our car with extended warranty that fits our needs. We are so happy to have met them and have them help us find our new car.

Customer service is usually pretty good and most employees know their stuff. Experience has been great till recently. Apparently one of the technicians said that because my OEM break calipers were painted (which is just to prevent rust from the winter) has voided my warranty. Not sure if this is true. Went to another dealership and I was told that painting OEM brake calipers DOES NOT void warranty only if the OEM part was replaced by an after market part.

Toronto Hyundai expects customers to drive hazardous cars with faulty transmission and horns that don t work

The rating that I am providing is for the service department.

I bought the Elantra Touring from Toronto Hyundai on 2460 Dufferin Street, Toronto, in 2011. I have always got my car serviced with them since purchase. The service team at this location is thoroughly insensitive to client convenience, unaccommodating, generally rude and their mechanics seem to be incompetent based on my experiences below:

INCIDENT 1 - CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NOT RESOLVED FOR MORE THAN 2 YEARS:
Less than two years after I bought my brand new car, the Check Engine started going on and off intermittently. Upon taking the car to be checked at Toronto Hyundai, I was told to come only when the light was on. The issue continued and finally in 2014 when I was able to finally get the car to them while the light was still on, I was told that "no specific issue could be pinpointed" but recommended a change of the transmission fluid, as it looked dirty . I proceeded to get the transmission fluid changed but the issue continued. In January 2015, when I mentioned the check engine light issue during the regular service, I was told, "No Fault found at this time." Since this issue continued I made multiple visits to Toronto Hyundai without any resolution. Finally in May 2015 they recommended to change the complete transmission. While collecting the car, when my wife asked the attendant about why the transmission would become faulty so soon, she was told dismissively, You never know, but why are you concerned? This is covered in warranty. You are getting $5000 worth transmission for free. The fact that the faulty transmission endangers lives did not seem to matter.

INCIDENT 2 - HORN WORKING INTERMITTENTLY NOT RESOLVED
In October 2015 during a service appointment, I asked to check my car horn as it was working intermittently. This was a Saturday and I had given the car at 1:15 for service. When I picked it up at 3:00 pm the invoice said the horn was working fine at this time. I immediately went out to check and the horn was not working. Upon asking the attendant to recheck this was at 3:02 pm I was told that no mechanic was available as it was past 3.00 pm.
Helpless, I left a letter expressing my disappointment to which I received a voice mail the next morning to call back. There was no apology about the inconvenience from the previous day.
I was asked to come back in when the horn was not working.
During multiple visits that followed, their team has not yet found a resolution for the issue, but I have been curtly informed the following at various times:
You ve arrived too late we can t perform miracles.
Come back when the horn is not working.
Come back before 6:00 pm there is no one who can look at your car now. This was when I reached at 6:15pm (Their official working hours are until 7:00 pm on week days).

While I do not expect them to perform miracles, I do wish they would simply be empathetic.
I haven't received a single apology or a simple sorry from them. They are OK making the customer run to them every time, but cannot afford to have a mechanic work a little past their official hours for customer convenience.

They claim to have award winning master technicians, however their expertise is rarely used or the rest of his staff do not have adequate skills. I can understand the fact that they may not detect the cause of an issue at the first go, but the staff should have the courtesy to explain and empathise with the customer, and find a resolution after multiple (sometimes more than 6 checks).

Driving with a faulty transmission or a faulty horn is a dangerous matter. But their attitude appears to be lackadaisical.

I have given up on Toronto Hyundai for service and as such I will not recommend anyone to have their valuable cars serviced there.

My dad and I had a very relaxed and pleasant exchange with Andrew who was helping us find a compact SUV. I think it also helped that he's a Leafs fan. LOL

Although we didn't follow through with a purchase, our experience was great enough for us to recommend their services.

I always have exceptional service at this location! Everyone is very professional and helpful. I've had 2 vehicles (upgraded to a bigger vehicle based on my family size) at this location and totally satisfied with everything. I highly recommend this location! Big shout out to Arnold & Michael Smith! And will be a continued customer!

Over the years, I have bought 3 cars from Toronto ...

Over the years, I have bought 3 cars from Toronto Hyundai and have used them for all the maintenance and service too. I have always felt that I have been treated very fairly and honestly with all my dealings with them. When purchasing cars, I was never pressured into any extras. All options were clearly explained but no high pressure sales tactics were used. I have found the service to department to be very honest and have never felt that any unnecessary repairs were recommended. I've always been pleased with all aspects of my dealings with Toronto Hyundai.

No hidden cost, no sale pitch, like we had at other places that left us very disappointed, Toronto Hyundai was a place like a breeze of fresh air. I had a terrible experience dealing with Michael Chow!
First of all Michael Chow is a dishonest guy, he tried to sell demo car which had an accident and pretended that he doesn't know!! The we figured out, he replied back" ooh, e, o, some employee parked the car, ooh ee, hit the.."
Secondly Michael Chow is rude and talks nonsense, he doesn't answer your questions or responses very vaguely.
Michael Chow changes his words every second, he was supposed to sell the car for 23k once I called him, but once we arrived he started with 24k!
Finally seems that he is and always in hurry " just go test drive", " just give me second", "I'll tell you"...
By far Michael Chow is the worst sale man I have ever met!

Went in for my car's FIRST service. On the bill it...

Went in for my car's FIRST service. On the bill it showed its all filled the fluids and they also lubricated all hinges and latches. Literally nothing done on the car. The engine oil was half way wind shield wiper fluid just the same as I gave them. Brake fluid and coolant were max when i drove it in. None of the hinges or latches were lubricated.

Today I took my 2016 Tucson in for its 3rd service...

Today I took my 2016 Tucson in for its 3rd service. This was a 2 hour appointment and I went out for a walk. This was just a routine top up the fluids etc but while I was out walking I received a phone call suggesting that I have an alignment done. I asked if it needed it and the girl said no but it was just preventative. She also mentioned a that they could take the rotors and brakes off the car and inspect them for rust. The car only has 27000 gentle km
Both of these items are a scam. Something to value add the service they were supposed to do. I am not saying that every dealership does not do the same but I wish they wouldn't. I can say no but there are probably more vulnerable people who may feel pressured at these suggestions
I think I will try somewhere else for my next service

I was very worried about buying my first car. There are so many things that you need you know and ask form your dealer before you finalize the deal. Toronto Hyundai is the best place to buy a car. The staff members are very helpful and they provide you with every information about the vehicle you are interested in. I forgot all my worries when I met Deborah Pascuzzi, the wonder women. You will feel comfortable, confident and relaxed, dealing with her. She is very nice, really.

My plan when looking for a car was to go to many dealerships to do research on what car would best meet my needs. When I met Patrick at Toronto Hyundai, he was respectful, kind and informative. I truly respect his honesty and support which resulted in my purchase of an Elantra. Buying a car is a huge commitment and when you have a sales professional like Patrick by your side, expect your stress level to be reduced by his calm amd caring demeanor.

Then I met Heather in sales and felt supported in arranging my finances. She gave me all the facts about various options provided by Hyundai and helped me chose options that met my needs.

I bought my car during the last week of December and you might think what took me so long to write my review. Well I needed to get a good feel by driving my Elantra. I love my car. I am adjusting to the features and loving all the details that they put into this car. My experience from sales to financing to the product deserves an A plus. Thank you Patrick, Heather and Hyundai from making my experience so comfortable and simply amazing.

My husband and I are extremely happy with our purchase of the Santa Fe. The staff at Toronto Hyundai were very friendly and courteous. Daniel and Leo assisted us in purchasing our Santa Fe. We were very pleased with the service that they provided us. Both Daniel and Leo ensured that our needs were met and if we had any questions or concerns they were always available to assist us. They were willing to help where ever they could to ensure we were satisfied. Daniel and Leo provided us with exceptional service and we truly appreciate everything they did for us.

They gave me an appointment at 11 am just for oil change and I went there at 10:55 am, they made me to wait until 12:30 To get my car done, until 12 oclock, they didn t even move my car from parking lot to service station, so whats the point to give an appontment, when i talked to receptionist she told me sorry, but what about hour and half i stayed there and they didn t even bother to inform me

I felt no pressure at all to buy right away, and he was patient and understanding in explaining all of my financial options. He had no problem trying to get the best price for me.

Very friendly service, I was greeted within seconds of walking through the front doors, everyone there was happy, and eager to work. My new car is everything I ve been looking for & more. Plus it can fit all my friends who are somehow all over six feet tall. The car is amazing, the service was exceptional & overall a phenomenal experience here. Definitely would recommend going to Toronto Hyundai for your next vehicle purchase!!

I visit Hundia Toronto today morning to sell my Hyundia Sonata 2009 and Finance Hyundia Sanata 2013 and .
the first thing when i arrived i adked the girl in the front deck about one of their seller anf she asked me to wait until he come to front deck , i wait for a while after that the other lady in the front deck come to help and i told her that i am asjing for one of their seller calld Jack anf she told me he is off today , that is the first thing after that the set me whit another selker and it was a very bad experience whut him , to be honest i don't know how they hire people like this , this guy is not even able to sell himself not selling the Service .

any ways it was very bad experience not just for the amount he offer me for my car but how he deal with me as customer , he makes me fell like i come to ask him for chang not coming to benefit this business .

he didn't even offer me to have a set

i came there to selling my car and buy another car from this center .but after dealing with this guy i will never even think to visit this Location again . .

i just want to shared my experience with you so the people in charge should watch out those seller and trained them well and teache them how to respect the customers and deal with them in better way.

Amazing staff with great customer service. Leo C, Leo H, and Lawrence L provided the best experience and value a customer could ever want. After a few healthy discussions, I ended up walking out a happy customer with 2 car purchases - 1 Hyundai and 1 Genesis. This dealership is the real deal and big credit goes out to the management team (Rick + Benny) as well for nurturing such an amazing culture. 10/10 would recommend.

WOW. The only thing this dealer didnt do is spit in our faces. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a dealership or any establishment. The lady who we first spoke to initially was INCREDIBLY rude and condecending Helen Clubene. It was discusting. She told us we would have to wait when we said we weren't ready to buy today. We brushed off her nastiness and proceeded to wait. Then 10 minutes later other people walked in without an appointment and she served them right away. I would never deal with this dealer ever and will make a point to ensure others are aware of how dispicable they treat customers.

I took my car in for warranty work on Saturday Feb...

I took my car in for warranty work on Saturday Feb. 23 and all was good with checking in, they told me about an hour to do the work but took easily over 2 hours. Then I got my car back and noticed the driver side Air dam was scratched deeply, I should have said something but Frankly I was tired of wasting my Saturday at the dealership, this was not there the day before as I had washed the car and touched up the opposite side which had a similar scratch that I had done myself . Anyways make sure that u check your car thoughrly before giving your keys and have mutual inspection with the rep. I believe they used to do this before .

Toronto Hyundai thank you for contacting me after this review and asking for all my info. so you could contact me , well your service manager has not yet contacted me, therefore I will be ending this relationship and I will move all my ervice calls to somewhere else where I'm appreciated .

As result I have reduced your rating to one Star .
