The staff and lobby bartenders are absolutely amazing. Best in the business

This was my high school prom so most of the work done on william Penn's part was providing the location, so I didn't experience the service much. The location itself was very nice though.
The hotel was perfect. The interior is beautiful and i loved the ambiance of the whole building. Also has a real ghost story that made it even more interesting. The design of the hotel is very unique.
This was a great historical hotel. It is well kept, clean, and very personable. All of the employees great you and are very approachable. The only reason I have it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I have stayed in true 5 star hotels. This is actually a 4.7 in my book! A pool would've made it better.
The lobby was beautiful and spacious. I got a room on 7th floor with 2 double beds but it felt old and small, the refrigerator was broken and smelly. The bathroom is tiny and very outdated. This hotel definitely needs some renovations.
Great location. Fabulous lobby. Ordinary rooms. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:10 one morning while we were trying to sleep in, and on another occasion to check on the cleaning job of another employee.
The Omni is an older hotel and they do a great job maintaining the nostalgic environment. The bars and restaurants are amazing
The rooms are clean and spacious. I love the architect. Plenty of things to see and do in the area.
Honestly, I was passing through the lobby to get to the Brueggers that is in the building.
The lobby is beautiful, particularly in December. The Starbucks there is my go-to stop whenever I'm downtown.
Outstanding hotel. Historic, great location with lots of restaurants nearby, often great deals for stays, Omni customer service is strong, and they treat their employees well. Best breakfast buffet if any hotel I've ever been to. If you need large rooms this may not be the hotel for you but otherwise, this is a no brainer.
Overall it was a great stay but, the cooler in our room didnt seem to work. Also, the air was not very strong. I had it all the way down but it didnt help. The hotel is beautiful and the speakeasy was great. It is a terrific location for exploring downtown.
Stayed there last summer while seeing a concert outside of Pittsburgh. Used Hotwire and got an amazing suite for super cheap. Great service, don't use the phone though - expensive as hell.
Some of the staff were very helpful others rude and dismissive. Breakfast was terrible. They had just ended the buffet so we ordered off the menu. The food was cold and overcooked it seemed like they just took food off of the buffet that have been sitting out and reheated it when we asked our server about it he did not deny it he just offered to get us something else. :/ Ernesto was helpful, food just terrible especially for $15.
Very nice hotel but difficult for people with physical disabilities.
The hotel has a phenomenal lobby and is worth a visit for sure. A Starbucks is located in the lobby and the hotel is very central. Staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are outdated. Not the style (it suits the hotel) but the amenities. Everything is a little scuffed, improvised or makeshift repaired. And the rooms are very small. If you have a big suitcase there is no chance you can open it on the floor. The rooms are mostly clean but the showers need an urgent update.
The Tap Room had a good atmosphere and food but service was slow
Great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms though in need of a refresh.
Just had our wedding reception there. All the staff, from the wedding coordinator to the front desk and bellmen, were the most professional I have ever seen. They took care of every one of our needs. They made our special day even more special. Special thank you's go out to Lora, Ken, Katie, Issam, & Brian.
I come here every year for meetings and have stayed her at least a half a dozen times. The hotel decor is alone well worth the money. The hotel has a prohibition era feel to it and and even has a bar called the Speak Easy Pub. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are fairly quiet, however, the bathrooms do very quite a bit. The location, right in the heart of the point, cant be beat and there are many historic buildings nearby. I love this hotel and highly recommend it.
Beautiful old hotel in downtown Pittsburgh...old world charm in spades close to lots of restaurants and things to do...loved it. Check out the view out the window.
The building is very nice. All staff members that I encountered were helpful and very friendly. Service in the hotel bar was quick and the drinks were good. Prices were relatively reasonable as well, based on my expectations after seeing the building. Overall, I had a very good experience.
Went to the speakeasy bar downstairs. Very cozy bar. Atmosphere and cocktails were great, beer was meh.
The wigle tasting room was the perfect place to sample various local drinks in a relaxed environment.
Was only there for a night but the hotel was great. Service was great and it was in a great location.
What a shame. 4 star hotel that doesn't have free browsing internet in the rooms.
The Omni remains my go-to place in Pittsburgh over the years. Gorgeous interior, friendly staff and great food at a very reasonable price.
Perfect in every aspect. From the first interaction with the valet, to check-in, to room service, and everything else, I was happy to be here. A great hotel in a great location, I can't imagine staying anywhere else next time I visit this beautiful city.
Unbelievable! love the detail and the steps leading up to the lobby and the attached Starbucks!
Beautiful hotel! Excellent staff. Nice place to stay. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Pittsburgh.
Very nice hotel. Rooms were super clean and everything was very warming and welcoming. Only gripe I have (and what lowered my rating) is that EVERYTHING is an "extra charge". In 2017 WiFi should be free, not a $15 a day charge, especially in a 4-star hotel. They also charged an exuberant amount to use the computers for over 15 minutes
Great brunch. Reasonably priced, exceptional service, wonderful atmosphere.
The William Penn transports you back to the days of the Industrial Revolution. A must-see spot in Pittsburgh!
Fantastic architecture, buffets provided to our seminar were delicious and plentiful, and the rooms are very comfortable.
Rooms are very nice, parking was easy and cheap. All in all a great hotel
Nice staff. Super easy to get to with convenient parking.
Nice room. Location perfect downtown. Close to everything! Nice associates and good service. Second time staying here and that's a good sign in its own right. Thanks
Old School Cool with ready access to everything Pittsburgh has to offer. The rooms creak and moan exquisitely. Fine dining or casual grub - a Starbucks of course . . . recommend.
Very nice place, staying downtown was noiser than expected. Would stay again.
old hotel nicely done right smack in the middle of pittsburgh. it's so central i would stay no where else. parking in a lot right across the street is convenient.
Our experience at the hotel was excellent but will hesitate to stay there in the future since the Terrace Room is now closed to the hotel guests for dinner
Staff was five stars with their great service My experience with the place was reduced to four stars because of issues with my room The staff did everything they could to resolve the problems Great history to the facility Loved it!
Old World Charm with all the amentities in the heart of downtown. Its my go to hotel and sometime even use it as an escape from apartment even though live in pitt to get a relaxing night or be closer to friends for a night. They do take care of everyone. Theres a reason sports teams and such choose to stay here for games and activities.
Attended for a meeting. Very beautiful room and employees were all very nice helping with jackets, etc.
A hotel Certainly valuable with great qualities. However, there are weak points. How to find out on the last day during check-out that wi-fi not included in the price could be used in the hotel lobby. Furthermore, a perennial background noise presumably of the air ducts of a large parking lot below the hotel has been perpetually heard both day and night, creating a really disturbing point Staff is perfect
Wonderful stay!! Excellent service! Very nice service!
Great location, beautiful, great staff. Been there several times and know it will be a great place to stay on future Pitt visits.
The hotel was great and it was a good place for the regional GSA.
I loved the room, very comfortable, super close to everything, it is not necessary to use the car. Super recommendable!
This hotel was clean, in a central location, and reasonably priced. They have a pretty decent hotel gym, but sadly no pool. The staff were all quite friendly. There is a nice bar and a Starbucks in the lobby. My only knock against this place is no free wifi unless you sign up for a rewards card.
I stayed at this hotel for business, for a few days. The lobby, right off the entrance was quite beautiful. It certainly had the wow factor with super high ceiling, chandeliers and decorative architecture.
The staffs at the counter were all polite and helpful, I felt welcomed here. The street level lobby area was quite large, and it leads to check-in/out counter, breakfast area, shops and more. They have more than one exit based on where you need to go. They also have Starbucks near the main entrance, and even the regular Starbucks transformed into something more fancy with the old architecture and chandeliers in the inside.
This hotel screamed history everywhere, without looking and feeling "old." Even inside elevator was decorative with antique-designed carpet.
My room was on the 9th floor, and the view from the room was quite nice. I could see the Melon Green Park from my room, and the city beyond and around it. I really liked the greenery view.
The room itself was more simple compared to the grand lobby. Not too big but not too small. Basic essentials in the bathroom, and bathrobe in the closet. It had a small desk, TV, and lounge chair. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet. I had a good night sleep here.
The hotel has a couple of restaurant in the premises, but I only got to dine at the Terrace Room for breakfast. The breakfast was surprisingly good, the breakfast buffet is definitely something you want to check out if you are staying there!
Nicest place in Pittsburgh to stay. Very clean, and the Speakeasy onsite is fantastic!
Just awful. Small room WiFi charges were outrageous (who charges for WiFi in 2018). Staff nice, responsive and courteous. Room too hot no matter how much we lowered the temp and our view was a few feet from another building
A nice historic place to stay. Was there for a week. The rooms, reception, the morning beverage that was delivered everything was pretty good. Had an wonderful experience staying here. A place i will stay if I visit Pittsburgh again.
Would recommend you join their rewards program. Free Wi-Fi and choice of morning beverage are some of the benefits you get.
Beautiful hotel, amazing decor, the room was clean, the bed is really confortable, I will definitely go back... For Pittsburg Steelers fans like me, this place on a previous day to a game, you will be able to see the player at that hotel!
