I could have not being happier with my stay at the William Penn. Not only the hotel is absolutely gorgeous - you feel like you are immersed in history, but the service was impeccable!
I needed help with items that were shipped to me, and they went above and beyond to help me. I would like to personally thank Alton for all his help and attention, he made my stay beyond incredible.
The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the lobby is spectacular. They also have a coffee shop right at the lobby, a restaurant and a some bars as well. The location is great, you can easily get everywhere from here, easily.
Will for sure stay at this place when I am back in Pittsburgh.

Beautiful hotel with old architecture and details. Staff was very accommodating. Gets to be busy with them hosting a lot of events, so the elevators get jam packed, but that's to be expected in any large hotel.

I was first told by some younger folks who live in Pittsburg that this place is "old and creepy" As a married man with kids, this was the perfect getaway for a couple of days away from our children. Great staterooms with views of the surrounding cityscape, albeit from a lower perspective. The hotel boost fine dining with a few options for lounge or bar environments. My wife and I had a two day romance package, including $100 credit dinner and late 5pm check out for $270. Ah yes, and an order of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The ONLY part of these deal that was terrible was the drink and fruit. It was a cheap $10 sparkling wine.

Wonderful lobby and amenities right in the hotel including coffee shop, convenience store, whiskey tasting room, and restaurants. An older (historic designation) building but the room was nicely outfitted and had been updated.

Didn't actually stay here, just passed through. The lobby is amazing. 3 huge chandeliers hand from the ceiling and add to the majesty of the ornate decorations. Even if you don't stay, go in and take a look around. It's well worth the trip.

Historic and beautiful, right in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh! Excellent staff. Nicely appointed uniquely shaped rooms. Excellent dining options on site. My absolute favorite PGH hotel for a quick getaway.

Had dinner at The Tap Pub, was great food and atmosphere. Had fun walking around the historic Omni William Penn Hotel. Even saw that they were filming the new Tom Hanks movie there, Mr Rodgers, way cool.

We spent a night here to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. The place was BEAUTIFUL! It was within walking distance if so many places of interest (we did walk quite a bit to save on parking). Upon registration, they asked if we were there for any special occasion. When we came back to our room for the evening, there was a beautiful dessert waiting for us!! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Thank you to the staff for an amazing stay! You made it well worth our while! By the way, the people of Pittsburgh are pretty friendly!

Staff is great, entrance appearance is amazing and everything else is not. Beds are super uncomfortable rooms are not by any means nice or special. Over priced for what you're actually paying for which is the room and bed.

This hotel would have received 5 stars if it were not for a simple service. WiFi is not provided in the rooms without a daily charge.
You must go to the lobby or Starbucks, (located inside the hotel), for free WiFi.
The lobby is beautiful, eloquent and large. Not a bad place to do some business or personal work on the internet.
We ate at the Tap Room three times during our visit, great food, excellent service.
To bad a hotel can get this close to being near perfect and does not understand the importance of room WiFi, without an upcharge.

The restaurants in the hotel were pretty good and the night bar service was also very nice to have. Our room was smaller but very servicable. You have to park at the place across the street which is not comped but the weekend was 5 dollars flat rate which wasn't too bad.

This hotel is beautiful. Having visited Pittsburgh and fallen in love with the city, we booked a last minute steal through Priceline I believe- under $80 cad for the night. This did not include parking. However being the weekend we were able to park for cheap at the lot across the street. The same place the hotel valet parks. If staying during the week it us cheaper to go through the hotel.
This hotel was in a great location, downtown and next to a subway stop.
The rooms were large, and clean. This is a very large hotel, but maintained well.
I enjoyed my stay here, and would look at booking it again on my next visit.

You get an experience that comes with the price tag. A historical type building well maintained over the years. Great atmosphere and there always seems to be someone around just when you need them. Just be careful, I drank the bottle of water they leave out and it cost around $10

My company had a meeting here on 1/23/19 and it was catered. They did not have any tables for people to eat off of so unless you could get a spot on the ledge near the steps you either had to hold your plate with one hand to eat or sit with your plate in your lap. The tator tots were lukewarm at best, the beef was entirely too chewy, ham wasn't too bad...absolutely loved the brushetta with the mango salsa and goat cheese as well as the wonton with shrimp and mango salsa. The chairs were entirely too close together, good thing the event wasn't packed so we could move chairs so we weren't sitting on top of each other. Also the ballroom we were in was below ground level so there was no cell phone access and the wifi wanted credentials which unless you're staying there you don't have.

The Speakeasy is one of the the most underrated places in Pittsburgh. This intimate venue is tucked away on the lower floors of the Omni downtown and offers a unique experience. With its well stocked bar and knowledgeable staff you are sure to find the perfect cocktail for your evening.

One of the most beatiful hotels you'll ever see. It feels like your on the titanic. Exceptional service, clean rooms and wonderful dining experiences. And if you have not been to the downstairs bar (speakeasy ) check it out. You'll meet one of the greatest mixologists in the world. (Dawn)

This is a very elegant looking hotel. Great location. Within walking distance to PNC stadium and restaurants. The rooms are a bit dated, but definitely not a deal breaker. The conference rooms were very spacious and accommodating. Staff were very polite and attentive. I would recommend this place for future conferences.

As a Pittsburgh treasure, this hotel offers a variety of event spaces for our city. The breathtaking William Penn ballroom is spectacular and unparalleled. With an ornate balcony and lavish light fixtures, who wouldn t want to host an event here? The deco inspired Urban Room right next to it provides even more excitement and drama. We cannot get enough of this hotel love working in every space with their team of seasoned professionals!

We wanted to have a drink at the speakeasy but it was closed for a private event on both Friday and Saturday night. The whole place was overrun with weddings. Cocktails in the taproom ended up being great though. Staff were also very capable.

First time we were in Pittsburgh and stayed at the Omni Hotel when we return we look forward to another visit only longer. Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, spaciouse suite, and beyond clean. Awesome location. We walked across street to court yard. stop by and see the sweet couple who makes the best tamales. Out of this world There is so much to see walking distance and no need to worry about parking
A vending machine would be nice for a quick late night snack and was a bit disappointed when lounge had 8 to 10 people and closed before we could order a drink. Thank you for a memorial stay. Jeanne and Franky

Beautiful hotel inside. Friendly staff. Excellent rooms. Central location. Downsides: No view. No complimentary breakfast. Drab exterior.
An impressive hotel in an older structure. Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel in a very central location in the city. When you first walk into the lobby, take a moment to appreciate the way this must have looked when the hotel was first constructed. They have done an amazing job on keeping the look of its original construction while giving it some nice modern touches. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and the staff were attentive to my needs.
